Late lunch at Eddie's and it did not disappoint! From the hostess to the servers, we could not have been better taken care of. Fun atmosphere and great food. I had fried beef tacos and my husband had spinach enchiladas both with cilantro rice, which was our waiters suggestion. All Perfect! Get a Strawberry margarita also!
Amazing service, gave us multiple free refills on our chips and salsa that we almost became too full to finish our food. Food was great and highly enjoyable, especially their flan. Get the flan when coming here and you won't regret it, it's honestly one of the best flans I have ever had and might be one of the best in the country.
LOVE THIS PLACE! Had a great server, food was amazing the place was really awesome especially the restaurant beautiful family friendly place definitely will come again! Please come to this restaurant!
We love Eddie’s Tex Mex! The food is always so good. We had the loaded queso, sour cream enchiladas, a taco, and the chicken fajitas—everything was delicious! And the salsa is one of our favorites! If you go for lunch on a pretty day, try to get the corner booth on the far left of the patio. It’s the best spot to people-watch and see all the fun in this busy, popular area. We always have a great time here and can’t wait to come back!
Really neat local place. Food a d atmosphere great.... will be back
This place is a gem! I was in town for work and my coworkers brought me here, I am so glad they did! I am vegetarian and had the grilled veggies tacos will cilantro rice and refried black beans… it was SO GOOD! I wish I had a picture but I was too busy enjoying! Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!
This is a great spot. I and my family had one of the most rewarding and memorable evenings in this restaurant. It was brilliant on so many levels. We weren't well up on Mex Tex food and we were keen to try things. Our waiter, who embodied the spirit of giving and providing service to others, was a excellent guide. At every stage we knew we were in good hands. He encouraged us to try things and we did. And the food was very, very good. Most enjoyable. The atmosphere was very good too. We got chatting to a lovely young Dallas couple beside us, and they also love this place. If the locals eat here too then that's a extra incentive to go here. Highly recommended.
My friend and I stopped by Eddies on our stroll through lower greenville and we were amazed with how delicious the food was! My strawberry margarita was great too, and the service was perfect! I will definitely come back!
Hurt and the gang is great. He’s always attentive and looks after all patrons and his staff does as well. Great Tex mex. But the place is small so you may have to wait for a table. Portions are generous. Salsa is top notch so is queso and fajitas. Highly recommend.
We had beef fajitas for dinner and everything was fresh and tasty. The service was fast. Hart was so friendly and welcoming. Even though the restaurant was packed he was not rushing to get our order, he took his time to answer our questions we had on the menu and he had a conversation with us. Much appreciated!
We were in town for the weekend and needed to find somewhere to grab a late dinner. We had great service and even better food! The food came out quick and was delicious. p.s. we loved their chips and salsa set up, each person gets their own salsa bowl (it’s the little things lol).
Probably the best chips and salsa I have ever had at a Mexican restaurant. Everyone loved their entrees. We were a guest of our daughters. She frequents Eddies regularly. Not many Mexican restaurants have televisions to catch the game like this one so that was a nice touch. Pretty close quarters is only drawback.
The food here is so so delicious!! Eddie's was the first restaurant I went to when I moved to Dallas and it never disappointed! CONSISTENT FRESHNESS AND QUALITY. LOVE IT. Thank you Riley for the great drinks and the great service ♥️🙏🏽🤘🏽
This is an awesome restaurant. The food is all made from fresh ingredients and the flavors are amazing. You can’t go wrong with this place. The BBQ brisket Nachos and Elote on the cob, was mouth watering. We will be back.
Stopped in to celebrate Margarita Day! There was a 30 minute wait on a Saturday for lunch, so we opted for lunch at the bar. Busy, loud, and fun vibes. Our bartender took great care of us and had our drinks ready in no time. Perfect margaritas! Loved the salt and tajin rim. Food was fabulous with huge servings. Loved the seasoned fish tacos. Great place to start my first visit to Dallas!
Had the combination beef and chicken fajitas. They were great. The salsa would just right.
The food was really delicious. Even though they were really packed that day, my friend and I got seated just few mins. The ambience was vibing and it was affordable with big servings.
This was our first time trying Eddies Tex Mex and it did not disappoint. I had been eyeballing this place for weeks and finally gave it a try. We sat outside since the weather felt great. Not too much outside seating btw. They have some of the best chips and salsa in the game! Probably my favorite thing thus far! I ordered the cheese enchiladas with chili con carne and they were delicious! My husband ordered the pork quesadilla and said it was magnificent! The only thing I did not care for food wise was the refried beans. No seasoning in those. The wait staff was outgoing/friendly and considerate. This will definitely be a regular spot for us. MUST TRY!
My Mexican relatives love Eddie’s Tex Mex and consider it a fairly authentic representation of their culture and cuisine! With the perfect blend of spices, the food tastes flavorful and mouthwateringly delicious. When they say spicy, they actually mean it. The servers act friendly and they give excellent recommendations. You definitely need to try the Grilled Tacos Asados and/or the Shrimp Tacos. The restaurant fits plenty of seating in a small place, making it feel cozy. I also like the connection to the community with the colorful and unique artwork by local artists for sale on the walls. Overall, my family will continue to frequent Eddie’s Tex Mex and you should, too!
Loved everything about this place! Staff was super nice and attentive. The Fajitas nachos are amazing! And their margaritas were fire 🔥 🥰
Came for lunch, left with dinner. Their rating should be 4.5 or higher. We ordered the Botanas Platter (highly recommend if you want to try a little bit of everything) and a Chicken Quesadilla. Both were large portions sizes and the quality was very, very good. Very prompt service too! Would definitely come back and bring friends!

Fantastic little hole in the wall Tex mex joint. Right on Greenville ave, easy to get to, with a parking lot behind, and a back door for easy access without walking around! Good food, the tacos and nachos were absolutely perf, pricing was fair, service was fast, and atmosphere was great.
We would give 6 stars for service if Google permitted it! Valerie was incredibly attentive, personable, and great fun. If you want 5 (6!) star service, we highly recommend Valerie. The Al Pastor tacos were fantastic and the frozen margaritas were so yummy! We will be returning.
My go to for Tex-Mex!! The crispy ground beef tacos and quesadillas are my favorite. Definitely try their meltdown margaritas! The quality of all the ingredients/dishes never disappoints. Will always return and highly recommend to people. Claudelia & Riley are the best!!!

This is a cute fun spot. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because of no seasoning. All food was cooked perfectly, however, there was 0 salt and pepper. Still good just needed some flavor. The customer service here was excellent. This is a nice place.
got the hamburger, it was great! fries were good as well, seasoned nicely. we ordered queso as well but it lacked in flavor. salsa also was not very spicy. service was great and our waiter was cheerful and friendly. it was a bit crowded stuffed, and loud , but we went on a saturday evening so expected.
If the key to a successful business is location, location, location, then Eddie's Tex-Mex Cocina should be killing it. On my first visit here, I decided to dine al fresco( al fresco being a relative term since the porch was screened off and heated). The accommodations were adequate but not entirely comfortable. The metal chairs on the porch were too hard but then I suppose when dining outside, one cannot expect it to be ideal. The menu is not over-priced like some restaurants on Lower Greenville. I had Combo numero tres which was one sour cream chicken enchilada and a beef taco with refried beans and Spanish rice. The food was good but nothing fancy. The waiter was attentive and personable. Restrooms were tidy. I spent around $16 with tip. If you find yourself craving Tex-Mex on Greenville Avenue, you could do worse than Eddie's. In the words of Arnold Swartzenegger, " I'll be back."

Mid food. Shrimp Ceviche had almost no shrimp. Wouldn't be suprised to find cans of Wolf Brand chili in thier dumpster used for their Chile con Carne. Which is one of their better quality menu items. Not awful, but definitely better Tex-Mex to be found. Very proud of their location, which is a nice area to stroll.
Food was fine, not great for the price, but fine. Server waited until the last minute to say they "don't split checks" when each of our group of 7 people wanted to pay for our own food. Other than that, decent place, cute inside, love the art on the walls.
Went here for a family lunch and service was great but the tables are small. We had to cram everything on our table together and hardly had room for anything else. Place does get busy very quick and food was ok. The queso just seemed like nacho cheese from a can and chicken enchiladas were dry. Just wanted to try it out but won't be back.

Friends and I had dinner here last night. Our waitress, I definitely forgot her name (short blonde hair with pink highlights) 🥲 she is really friendly, professional and kind. We were in a good mood until a young black guy waitress ruined everything! A young black waitress barged in to our table and took one of my friend’s plates and silverware without asking while we were waiting for our food. As soon as I told him we were waiting for our next dishes, he put my friend's plate back on from a tray where all the other people’s dirty dishes. I told to a waitress to get a new plate he ignored and left. I am not sure he had a bad day or I don’t know I do not need to know but he definitely needs to go home and find another job.
My waitress was great she gave me such amazing service and was very attentive but I think it’s absolutely Disgusting that they allow dogs in the establishment, the patio okay understandable but inside? is so ridiculous it has not been my first time coming here and seeing them allow dogs at the bar or at tables, this is so UNSANITARY and definitely makes me lose my appetite especially when NOT everyone likes dogs while they eat!!!! it clear as day that some of the employees disapprove of this Management needs to do a better job! I don’t want to be in the middle of my meal and having a dog scratch it’s fleas next no me and definitely don’t want to be at the bar with a small dog drinking water out of a salsa bowl that just nasty if you ask me please don’t come here bc you will definitely have to deal with dogs in your personal space inside while you try to eat your meal😒 I loved coming here but the dogs situation definitely made start hating coming here it’s just so nasty and unsanitary
The food was not good. Tex mex should have more flavor. The queso was bland. The sour cream chicken enchiladas were bland and the chicken filing was watery as though they were frozen, thawed and heated. Service was ok.
Presentation speaks for itself. I've eaten at Eddie's a few times, The food quality does not match the price at all. This specific day I had the Quesadillas. They were bland and a bit cold It took forever for us to receive our meal. Odd, due to the fact that they were not as busy.. And Eddie himself could really work on his attitude. As for the other staff they were warm and welcoming the only reason the meal was worth the wait... definitely not due to anything other than...

Great food, kind customer service. What was wild was watching an older guy, maybe 70? Friend of the business? Calling staff to sit down with him. Staff looking uncomfortable but the dude can’t read body language for his life but continued to harass them.
Food was not good at all . Our cups had lipstick on them silverware was so dirty service was awfull they looked like we were forcing them to serve us . The celery and carrots were black and nasty first time there and last time.
Absolutely garbage. Powdered queso and beans...just eat off the shelf at Heb. Ponchos is better. Hell Taco Bueno is better Salsa is flavorless, worst ground meat and rice I've ever had. They failed at everything...even the chips suck. Not worth paying for, even if it was free I wouldn't eat it. Don't waste your time. This is for tourists or something.
The salsa taste like Pace. Add some cumin for god’s sake. Margaritas are tasteless. I can find better margs and salad in GARLAND and that’s saying something. Not a fan. From the Salas and marg alone I left. Not sure of the food but it doesn’t seem like that would be amazing either. Try Frankie’s in Garland. Much better food and drinks.
Extremely disappointed by our experience. My husband and I (I’m currently pregnant) were seated and left unattended for over 10 minutes while other guests—who arrived after us—were greeted, served, and taken care of. This isn’t the first time I’ve visited Eddie’s, but it will definitely be the last. It was deeply upsetting to feel ignored as the only Black couple in the restaurant, especially when others received prompt service. Whether intentional or not, it came across as discriminatory and disrespectful. I strongly urge other patrons to think twice before supporting a place that treats customers this way.
