We really enjoyed the chopped beef sandwich and fries, so flavorful and filling. The manager was very friendly, we walked in near closing time and never felt rushed. And don’t forget to get dessert! Will visit again for sure. 👍🏼 👍🏼

The meat is great. However, I find it odd that they don’t sell chicken in individual pieces, or at least quarters. They often run out of chicken breasts, then you have to buy a half a chicken. They can really improve in that area…

Rib-topia!!! The name speaks for itself, 50 years in BBQ. I had the pork ribs, greens, and the beans ( the sides were hard to choose, they all looked wonderful) but the ribs were a true delight for any BBQ fan. The pepper was thick and spicy and a hint of sweetness, the meat was very tender and so much flavor. The greens were perfect, tender, flavored with maybe some type of andouille sausage, truly a great experience , If you want ribs or BBQ.

Not too crowded when we arrived and then 15 minutes later the Dinner rush started arriving. We got there at a good time.

Great food at reasonable prices. I got the ribs and pulled pork plate. Both were delicious as is the habiarro BBQ sauce. Potato salad, and cucumber salads were good. The mac and cheese was very bland.

I’m typing this out as I am eating here lol I would like to say that the customer service here is very lovely, from the start of ordering my food the young lady was very helpful and her spirit was there; to the manager on duty who helped me and my mother order online (due to them not having tap pay) Despite the restaurant not having tap pay, they were kind and patient with us. The food so far is amazing, the baked potato is a good size and the beef brisket is the type of meat that you want to come back again for. 10/10 thank you for making my day with how sweet and welcoming you guys were!

Visited Pappas and had to wait because my shredded pork burger takes longer unbeknownst to me. I got rather impatient because everyone else was eating so I asked for the manager Juan Gonzales. He was super explaining the process. I felt appeased and it was worth the wait. Tender, juicy and well seasoned. Five stars to Juan's team.

Came here for a quick bite to eat, and was floored with how good it was. The tangy bbq sauce was excellent. It was decorated well, and had plenty of space. Hearing the rain on a tin roof just added to the overall feeling of western bbq. Not the best bbq in the state, but WAY better than any fast food joint, and worth stopping in.

A little pricy but good food and good variety of food selections. I frequent this location about once a week. Establishment is always clean on the inside, and the grounds are kept very nice on the outside. Employees are generally pleasant and management is very attentive

One of the best I've had in Texas so far. Had the Pork Trio plate and the sliced brisket plate with coleslaw cucumber salad baked beans and potato salad... all of it was top taste and quality.

I can't get enough of the potatoes at Papas!!! I drive over 20 minutes just to treat myself with one potatoe. I usually get mine with bacon. So good!!! The potatoe doesn't usually make it all the way back home...😆 🤣. I also enjoy the Cucumber salad. I get the largest size and love it but the dressing is never enough to cover the size of the Cucumbers. Please add enough dressing. Its very expensive for the Cucumber salad, more than the potatoe with bacon so let's add enough of that delicious dressing for us ! Also the manager or floor supervisor, she is so wonderful and professional everytime I dine in. Great crew and great food!!! Keep up the good work 👏 👍

I was in a pinch to provide dessert for my in laws for Thanksgiving and Pappas came through! The pecan pie is massive and filled with decadent pecans with a beautiful buttery crust..delish!! The cheesecake was the prettiest cake I’ve ever seen. It was the talk of the night & tasted like it looked…the slices were so thick and flavored with pure magic..thank you again! This may be my go to dessert offering at dinners!

I am a real BBQ snob. But I can't shake this small chain from my rotation. That burger is the sleeper on their menu, and the breakfast brisket tacos are hard to beat. However, the brisket is sometimes inconsistent(always good, not always great). But my wife and I have found that their stand out is the weekend special of wings and baby back ribs with two sides. Their smoked wings are always huge, meaty, juicy, and smoked perfectly. The back backs are sweet and peppery and fall off the bone. Today was no different. I WAS planning on getting their amazing hamburger, but the wife talked me into 12 wings and 12 ribs, and I want mad about it. We have enough left over for two more meals. Also, special shout out to the young lady who made my wife the perfect salad (Christiana?) and the manager on duty, Morris, who made sure we had hot, freshly made ribs.... He even garnished them for us!!! No matter how snobby I am with my craft bbq, Pappas will stay in my rotation with service like that.

Big open space...Great AC & ceiling fans on maximum speed... (in other words I was actually chilly) But better to be cool than hot in the middle of August in Texas. Love the decor and chairs and booths as well as the salad/veggie/condiment Bar. Great choices of meats and sides. Our sweet potatoes were under cooked but we loved their large cut fries (cheese fries look amazing too). And the Mac n Cheese was also very good. We had a family BOARD of meats. We had an enjoyable trip and arrived with high expectations from our trips to Pappadeaux, Pappas Bros, and such, and we were pleased with the service and atmosphere for a Monday night. Almost empty at 6:30, but the game was on and we got to watch a good bit of it while we enjoyed the company of friends. I had the two meat plate with brisket and sausage, and I admit I’m picky about brisket…but it was just okay. The sausage was pretty good, but none of it was really worth writing home about. We enjoyed it, though, and will probably be back to try a few other menu items.

Cafeteria style. Grab a tray and go through the line. Got the beef trio. The sausage was great, the brisket was well smoked and tender. The rib was dry and tough so I’d skip that in the future. Great selection of sides and be try fresh and well made. The sauces shined, don’t miss that. Lots of seating inside and covered outdoor seating and parking. They also have a drive thru.

I had the Pork Potato for lunch. OMG, that thing was huge! If you can't guess from the name, the Pork Potato is smoked, pulled pork on a loaded baked potato. It comes with butter, chives, cheese, sour cream, and the most mouth-watering pork you'll ever eat. I added the Habanero Spicy BBQ sauce to top it off. I need a nap!

I was pretty impressed with my time here today at the Duncanville, TX location. The quality of the food I got was more in line with a locally owned barbecue place and not a chain. Was very good! I will say the prices were a bit steep for some things and somehow really good for others? It's definitely worth trying, and I plan to be back sometime in the future.

Good BBQ! I ordered the two meat platter, brisket and the pull pork. The brisket no utensils are needed. It had good smoky flavor and the meat was no over cooked. The pork, was good it had good seasoning. The place is very spacious and the staff helpful and welcoming.

Pappas was pretty good bbq, we stopped in for dinner. The place was clean the staff was friendly and attentive. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and fries with a side Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was really good... Definitely try some. The pulled pork was pretty good but not the best I've had. The fries were lacking. The seasoning was ok but they were mushy and could've been cooked more. The BBQ sauce was pretty good but something was just slightly amidst. Overall I would eat here again and try one of the different plates because the ribs and sausage looked really good.

I didn't know this place was a chain and usually prefer small business BBQ joints if I'm paying these prices for this type of food. That being said, it was very good! I think it's a little pricier compared to other places you could go to but I would prefer this compared to Spring Creek or Dickey's if we are talking chains. Mac and cheese was creamy and, well, cheesy. It had a smokey flavor to it which was nice. The brisket fell apart and was very juicy. It's definitely the star of the show. The ribs had an interesting rub which was a bit too sweet in my opinion but it was an overall delicious meal. Ham is nothing special. Sausage was yum. And definitely try the habanero BBQ sauce! It's not that spicy and is a tasty addition. To be honest though, the overall area brings the place down. If this was in a better area, I imagine it would do much better.

I live in Mesquite and traveled 40minutes 1hr 20 minutes round trip, to get 2 baked potatos brisket and some ribs, when I place my order I stated that I wanted 2 pounds of moist brisket, they give my order quick and I was ready to go but I decided to check on my brisket and yes my suspicion was right, they gave lean , I asked the cashier and the manager in a good manner agreed to help change my order and make it right, everything was ok until I got home and when we open the baked potatoes, they gave me the wrong order on the potatoes too!!! Clearly cashier had a problem of understanding orders !!! We used to go there often, but is frustrating to have to check the order all the way through to be sure everything is right. If clientele doesn’t trust you , will be hard to survive. Update: After management saw the problem was posted on line, they send an email asking questions to understand better the situation. After a week , they send back a gift card. At least they care about their clientele . Thanks for the gif card but, we will be happier with a better customer service at the moment we are having our food!!

Tried the platter for 4 and honestly, I was disappointed. The meat was dry and lacked that smoky tenderness you expect from good BBQ. The sauce was just okay, nothing special to bring it all together. For the price, I expected more flavor and better quality. Definitely hoping they step it up.

I had the brisket. Some of the edges were dry, but for the most part, it was a decent meal. I've never eaten in Texas before, but 25 bucks seemed a bit high for what was served.

Having been to Pappa’s Steakhouse, I expected quality from their BBQ restaurant. Sadly I was underwhelmed. Portions were good, but all the meat (we ordered the family platter) might as well have been baked in the oven. Barely had any smoke or BBQ flavor to it - and the sauces weren’t that great either. Most of the meat was barely lukewarm- the biscuit was bordering on cool. Very disappointing for a Texas BBQ establishment. 😢

No one goes to a cafeteria style BBQ for a fine, craft BBQ experience. They come to get a good, cheap meal. This checks both of those boxes. I wanted to try their pork ribs and brisket, but nothing on the menu could line those up. So I went with the 3 beef plate and asked if I could swap the beef rib for a pork one. Nope. Then when I went to pick it up they told me they were out of beef sausage, would I like a pork sausage? Wait a minute, we can switch items if you want but not if I want?? I went with it. Again, I didn't have high hopes. The brisket was ok. Not sure if there's any wood smoke going on for very long, but with the right amount of sauce, I got it down. The beef rib was a definite let down. It was so chewy I thought I was given a dog bone. In fact, I should have saved it for mine. The pork sausage was good and tasty. The green beans looked good but I think room temperature was warmer so I don't think it was put under the heat lamp for long. The creamed corn was a definite pass. I always said that I never met a creamed corn I didn't like. That's now off of my "quote list". Inside was very clean and well organized. If you want protein quick and relatively cheap, it's not too bad.

It's been atleast a 2 years since I've been here and I don't know what to think. The yams and Mac and cheese was very good when I last visited BUT TODAY it was not. The Mac and cheese was glorified soupy velevetta and my yams were still raw in the middle. My brisket was good and tender thought thankfully. I should have known when I went from the people eating and coming in and also the staff that my food was NOT going to be what I remembered from this place. Just wow

We decided to try this on our trip to Dallas based on the reviews. It was decent at best. I didn't like the cafeteria style set-up and the food was not hot. I will say the meat was tender and juicy, but seriously lacked flavor, you know, that smokey flavor. The choices of sauce was sweet or hot. The baked beans tasted like chili. The coleslaw would have been great, but the sauce had no seasonings. My son was head over heels for the pulled pork baked potato.

When they say “curbside” they really mean “pick up.” Waited 15 minutes at the curbside after telling them I arrived and which spot I was located. No text or any communication. Went inside to check and my order was there just sitting and ready to go. Who knows how long it was resting, getting cold? Anyway, for spending more than 30 bucks, I’d hope for a better system. Especially since they were not busy.

I was at Pappas a few years ago in Houston and it was amazing so I recently returned to the Dallas location. The food was good however there is room for improvement. The ribs were somewhat fatty, the serving of pulled pork was limited and the baked potatoes have shrunk drastically as they used to be highly loaded potato’s. The prices are still great compared to others but the side fixing bar is not what it used to be as it is now just pickles and peppers.

Ribs were very tough and hard to get off the bone. Alot of fat in pork. The girl taking my order was really cute and very sweet. Service out weighs the quality of the food for the very high price. They pulled the relish bar an hour before closing time so didnt have onions or pickles. They were on service counter and taken to the back before I was able to get any. The workers closing down before actual closing time was disappointing. Sweet tea was empty and they were not trying to make anymore and it was right at 8 pm on Friday night. The restaurant was empty almost so I guess thats why they were closing early. Guest needs should be #1 for the expensive and not very good BBQ.

The atmosphere here is fantastic—warm, inviting, and clearly designed to create a great dining experience. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite match the vibe. I ordered the beef trio, and both the brisket and beef rib were disappointingly dry. The sausage was decent but nothing memorable. On the side, I had the mac and cheese and potato salad. The mac and cheese was runny and lacked flavor, while the potato salad was just okay—tasted like something you could pick up from any grocery store. The BBQ sauce, however, was pretty good and helped bring some life to the otherwise dry meats. The best parts of the meal were actually the cantaloupe drink and the chocolate chip cookie—both were excellent and stood out from the rest. If you're visiting for the ambiance or just want a quick snack and a refreshing drink, it's worth a stop. But if you're coming for standout BBQ, you may leave a bit underwhelmed.

I’ll say the people were friendly. On a Saturday afternoon few people there should have told me something. The food is ok but for two $16 beef baked potatoes there was lots of fat and only about a quarter cup of meat. Literally I paid for large baked potatoes with a little meat. If that’s ok with you then I’m sure you’d enjoy. Stay away from the baked potato. If you’re a fatty meat lover then your good. Me I’ll pass. The meat itself that I could eat was good. I’d recommend getting something else like a sandwich or just meat and sides for a better experience. I’ll probably not return though.

So my husband and I purchased their wings for the first time and order a few sides. The wings were dry and flavorless. Not impressed at all. And the sides were so so. Their dirty rice was hard and undercooked. And I am mad that we spent $32.00 for nothing. What a waste not to mention it took someone a while to even come to drive thru speaker. So disappointed. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was the only person in line and opted for a brisket sandwich, chips, and a drink. However, what should have been a quick transaction turned into a frustrating ordeal. The manager, Lauren or Laurie, seemed to be struggling with the checkout process, causing delays of up to 10 minutes. It was evident that she was repeatedly making errors, prolonging my wait unnecessarily. Thankfully, another employee named Luke stepped in and efficiently resolved the issue, allowing me to finally complete my purchase. What truly soured my experience was the disrespectful attitude displayed by the manager, Lauren/Laurie. When I politely requested a discount for the inconvenience caused by the prolonged wait, she laughed in my face and dismissively remarked, "It's whatever." Shocked by her lack of professionalism, I confronted her about her behavior, only to be met with further rudeness. As someone who has frequented this establishment for years, I never expected to be treated with such disdain. Customer service should be a priority for any business, yet the behavior exhibited by Lauren/Laurie was unacceptable. It's disheartening to see such a decline in the quality of service at Papa's Barbecue. In conclusion, my recent visit to Papa's Barbecue was marred by inefficiency and disrespect. I hope that management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the need for improved customer service training. As much as I have enjoyed the food at Papa's in the past, I will hesitate to return until I can be assured of a more pleasant experience.

Sadly to say too much fat on my brisket sandwich. I also order fries, which were JUST okay. My husband had the BBQ chicken, shredded pork, cream corn, & a potato. His chicken was really dry and overcooked, the pork was just okay, cream corn and potatoe tasted the best! I gave it a 2 star bc the food was very tastless, dry, overcooked, expensive to what we purchased, & after tasting all BBQ sauces, just not that good. We've tasted much better!!!

Messed up my order went to pick up at 11 and left at 12. probably holiday traffic gave me a pie so I choose to give grace as the lord showed us grace.

First they got my order wrong, had to drive all the way back! The guy at the order window can’t speak English very well, which is probably why he got my order wrong. Then they gave me two little slices of brisket and one sausage link for a total of $20, first time I’ve been here and probably the last.

Don’t ignore the empty parking lot. There’s a very good reason why people stay away from this restaurant. The service staff seem to rather prepare for closing 2 hours prior to 4pm. (11 am to 4 pm) I had to ask for everything from a frustrated staff member. The food is okay chain bbq and the atmosphere the same. I do not recommend this restaurant.

First time trying Pappa’s and we will not be returning. Each time we pass the Dallas location the parking lot is always empty, but we decided to stop today and try it 8/06/23. Bad idea, we should have kept driving like every other time. The staff acted as if they did not want to work and were not friendly. An empty restaurant with about 10 workers behind the counter. The restaurant was clean and the restrooms were clean. We had (2) all you can eat pork ribs. 18.95 per order, which was a reasonable price. You get two sides per order and the portion is small, but very good taste. Oh yeah, and you get slices of light bread. Not toasted or nothing. The ribs were overly seasoned with black pepper. Why… We will not be returning. Please know there is a reason the parking lot is always empty. Go to Spring Creek BBQ!

Ordered a trio beef platter that came with excessively dried brisket, one beef rib that tasted like 711 beef jerky. A slim Jim has more meat in it. 4 slices of sausage that would satisfy a 3 year old , and a chopped brisket sandwich they forgot to make because they were more concerned about completing training on their ipads. The only part was the free refills and the cucumber salad. All of this for the low low price of $63. Absolutely embarrassment from a customer service standpoint and serving sizes. Hard Eight Barbeque, here is come. Was not worth the drive, the diesel, or the time, used to be a favorite hot spot for me....that's no longer the case.

Depends on what day you go and what time WHICH IT SHOULDN’T. Ribs and beans were abused (only way to describe how bad it was) with black pepper— couldn’t continue eating what i ordered, Literally thru away a pint of beans and over half a rack of ribs, tried 4 other times and only ONCE was the food edible. Haven’t been back since. It’s the worst after 6pm which shouldn’t matter unless you like to eat black pepper by the spoonfuls.

I’m sorry folks, I’ve tried this restaurant several times and the food isn’t good. I had a baked potatoe today with dry burnt brisket, and just lacked flavor. That and I got a mouth full of fat more than once. I’d pass, and frankly I’m surprised the store is open. Must be the Papas name and location.

Food was horrible!!! Baked potato with brisket was bland & meat was tough. Baby back ribs were soft and moist, but way over- seasoned. Too much pepper. Potato salad tasted more like pickles than anything else that was in it. Mac & Cheese was fair tasting and the dessert, banana parfait, tasted artificial and not very sweet. I do not recommend this restaurant. Very disappointing. 🤢

Been coming here for years for the beef ribs and I’m so disappointed in Pappa’s now. They started to cut the ribs in half and have raised the price big time. I understand inflation is hurting businesses but you can’t do both. Either raise the price and keep the same size or cut the size and keep the price the same. I feel so cheated. The beef ribs literally used to be as long as the plate. I’m over papas. I’ll look for a new bbq place. Pappa’s lost a regular today. Shrinkflation is happening big time here.

Have always loved eating here but ordered on door dash today. When it arrived half of the order was never provided to the driver. It was a business lunch so people didn’t get to eat during our lunch meeting. Portions were also smaller than when I visit.

First I ordered (2 ) 4pc rib dinner and received a 3piece but charged for 4pc. Then I ordered a stuffed potato with bacon, cheese,sour cream and butter. What I got was a cheese potato. My boyfriend ordered dirty rice and immediately hated it and even refused to give it to our dogs. I also ordered coleslaw on the side and ended up with dry cabbage pretending to be coleslaw and it wasn't even cut up. I spent over $50 and this is the worst tasting BBQ I have ever had. The BBQ had too much rub on it. Included pictures so you guys don't think I'm overreacting.

Really impossible to understand what takes so long at the drive thru. Logic screams that the slow-cooked meat couldn’t possibly be “made-to-order” but the delay makes it feel like they’re waiting for the cow to reach adulthood. I have been here twice now. I gave up after 19 minutes the first time, but had more time to spare the second so I stayed out of morbid curiosity and received my order after 23 minutes. Both times were in the morning after the advertised opening time. Both times I only wanted one breakfast taco.

Two words. Stomach ache! We can in to celebrate a family members birthday, they had not baked potatoes around 12-1 pm. We ate here and the whole family was complaining of stomach pains and had diarrhea.

I thought we’d try Papa’s BBQ in Dallas TX on Lombardy for lunch today, since we love Pappadeaux’s Seafood Kitchen. Boy, was that a mistake ! First of all, all we wanted was a BBQ sandwich and fries. What could go wrong ? First of all, they were totally out of BBQ buns at 2:30pm on a Thursday afternoon. We asked for a larger sandwich of sliced brisket. The brisket was bone dry. It must have been old. We couldn’t put enough BBQ sauce on it to moisten it. Also, the fries were fried to death and dry. We’ll never eat here again !

Starting with the location.. Outside.. they have car ports similar to those of vintage burger joints. They do have an outdoor patio with 'bbq' 'country' vibes but once you go inside.. it looks like a 50's dinner. But fine.. bit weird, but as long as the food is great.. that's all that matters. Well.. the food is not great. Ribs: Stale. No flavor. And they didn't remove the membrane "silver skin" from the ribs, so you're having to try to remove it yourself in order to eat it. HORRIBLE. Brisket: Best word I can use to describe it is 'SOGGY' The meat looked like like it was boiled and rather than serving it in a full slice.. they were squares. Literally a plate of thin sliced soggy brisket.. ZERO FLAVOR. NO CHAR. Like.. are your briskets cooked, frozen and then thrown in a steamer before having to serve them??? Sides: Big Shell Mac & Cheese, Cream Corn, Greens, Potato Salad.. ALL BLAND!!! This is Texas.. BBQ is what we do. It's what we are known for. I'm embarrassed for you. Won't ever recommend this place to anyone.. I'm guessing people who give ya'll 5 stars are people from California who don't know any better.

This review is because of a phone conversation. First call. I was shopping around for Turkey prices and ask how it works. The lady offered the 89.95 deal for whole turkey but i need to make sure we have some for tomorrow. Ok sweet. She said yes and then I asked about ham pricing and if they had it. They did. Cool. I said Id call back. Probably 15 min later I call back ready for business. I ask for the whole Turkey and the new togo server: do you want the thanksgiving dinner and i said well im mostly looking for the whole turkey. What does the thanksgiving dinner include.. Her: the whole turkey and the sides are extra.. Me: ok, if i say thanksgiving dinner with no sides. Ill get a whole turkey. Yes. Great. Ill take that. Then she puts me on hold. Manager comes on the phone without warning, hi i need to check if we have whole turkeys because we allocate them for different events. Me:Ok cool but i called not too long ago and they said yes. Him: I dont know who you talked to but im the manager and determine that. Me: Ok cool (aye aye rude captain). Im on hold again the togo server takes me off hold. "Yeah so you can move the tables but we cannot move them for you" me: im on hold for something else. Her: oh hahahahhahaha yes youre good to go. Me: oh but the manager said he was checking for me. Her: yes youre good. Me : uh can i talk to the manager( the person that gave me attitude for not checking in with him in the first place) uh......*longest pause ever* .. yeah sure. Puts me on hold again. And I hang up. And scene. Dont call this location unless you feel like getting attitude over freaking turkey.

I ordered beef barbecue ribs and paid $35 for TWO ribs and they were the skinniest and leanest barbecue ribs I have ever had...mostly BONES. I could not believe what Papa's BBQ gave me (1-STAR). I am definitely not returning to Papa's BBQ.

The other food was so trash that the potatoes were the only thing worth eating! after today again no potatoes and daily special is advertised and I went around 230! Was told I could wait 15 mins! ***PLEASE READ FULL POST BEFORE GOING HERE*** I am so hurt and disappointed with this establishment. I grew up going to this location but I have not been in 10 years. From what I remembered everything was exceptional! Boy did times change… I believe I spoke with a manager named Lauren who was very unpleasant and unreasonable to deal with. I understand ordering through 3rd party sites can limit functionality but as a supervisor, myself in the service industry. I aim to please my customers or at least come to a mutual agreement. Lauren didn’t even attempt! I say this all the time if you do not love your job, please find one that you love!!! The meat was skimpy, dry, well done/tough, overly seasoned kind of puts you in the mind of trying to chew tree bark… The macaroni was NOTHING like advertised on social media it was watery, flavorless and I can say the same for the beans. Seems as if they came from a can unseasoned and just heated up. If I had known my meal and service would be like this I would have supported another establishment and kept my $100. The prices for the quality and quantity is a ROBBERY! I will not be promoting or referring this business to anyone. Please consider all options before coming here!!!

Great location, but my experience was a huge disappointment. I ordered the brisket poor boy sandwich to-go, hoping for something amazing. I chose it because l'd seen the customers ahead of me get the poor boy brisket sandwiches, and theirs were loaded with lean cuts of brisket that completely covered the French bread. It looked so good. When my order was ready, I couldn't believe what I received. The brisket was sliced extremely thin and, worse, it was mostly fatty instead of lean. The meat only covered half the bread. I was really let down. I spoke to the manager about it, and she tried to explain that the other sandwiches I saw included both sausage and brisket, but I didn't see any sausage on the ones before me. The manager and I went back and forth about how my sandwich was supposed to look, but it didn't feel like I was being heard. In the end, I just asked for a refund. I left the meal at the counter, feeling totally unsatisfied. This was a huge disappointment.

I visited Pappas BBQ for lunch today and ordered a meal that was supposed to include a baked potato. After placing my order, I was told they did not have baked potatoes available at all. Since the main side item that comes with the meal was unavailable, I asked to substitute two regular sides instead. Rather than treating this as a reasonable replacement, they charged me extra for the sides. The entire experience made it feel as though the restaurant was more interested in increasing the ticket total than in providing fair customer service. When a menu item is unavailable, a proper substitution should be offered without additional charges. Anything else gives the impression that management is prioritizing revenue over the customer experience. This was my first visit, and based on how this was handled, it will also be my last.
