What a great 70s Burlesque disco night! The entire cast throughout the performance were engaging, talented, and absolutely beautiful. The party continued on the Rooftop where I stayed for a few minutes. I will definitely come back with a few girlfriends to the next show when I'm in town. The Show was held at The Nines! The staff were welcoming and had great drink specials throughout the performance.
Nice rooftop vibe DJ was good drink specials all night. A nice vibe.
Hadn’t been out in a while and this was a great place to unwind! Bartender held no punches on the drinks, deejays knew how to keep the party going and no drama just good energy and lots of fun!!
Awesome staff cool drinks. The rooftop views of Dallas are amazing
Whether you are a native to Dallas or just visiting, you definitely need to check out Dallas’s Hottest place to be in Deep Ellum! No matter if it’s during the week or on the weekend the vibe and drinks are always on point!!! Not to mention they have THC infused crafted cocktails, but wait it gets better….they can also make ANY drink infused with THC including shots!!! The Nines has different events throughout the week and you have to check them all out!!! The doors open at 8pm and we are going all night till close!!! Tuesday: Karaoke Night Thursday: R&B Soul Friday & Saturday: Throwdown Hip Hop/Rap/ Trap with sometimes live performances Sunday: Dress to the Nines with a mix of great music Shout out to my bartenders always doing their thang making some of the best drinks that are very worth the price and it is very reasonably priced! Ask for boo thangs “Batman or Braden” at the bar to hook it up! Tuesday $5 El Jimador blanco and repasado Thursday $6 Crown Royal Happy Hour Friday & Saturday from 8pm-10pm Sunday $5 Crafted THC drinks If you do go, don’t forget to let them know Ruby sent you!!!
Great, fun place, with exceptional staff and an amazing owner! My friend lost his wallet, typically this story ends at the DMV and bank, but in this instance... the owner looked around for his wallet after closing, found it, and kept it safe until we could pick it up! Everything was still there and the owner would not take any compensation, he was just happy to help out a customer. We could not be more grateful. Highly recommend!
Nice atmosphere upstairs and downstairs... I took my niece here for her 21st birthday and she really enjoyed herself...
I have always enjoyed hanging out at the Nines! The service has always been excellent and the bar staff is very friendly! They have a really cool roof top bar! I have seen several fantastic shows there!
I met up with some friends here on a Saturday night. We had a great time and drinks were reasonably priced. The bartender was very nice and remembered what I had ordered. The atmosphere was very nice and the dj was really good. My friends and I enjoyed a great night out. I liked that there were plenty of other bars to choose from in the area. This one had no cover so that was an added bonus. I will definitely be back
I ate here for lunch again for like 100th time. I can’t believe I haven’t left a Google review before. They’re such a Dallas staple and they do such a damn good job. The staff cares, they’re attentive and The food is always on point. Deep Ellum has its challenges right now. I strongly urge people to support this business.!
The best Mexican food. My favorite is the Tacos Al pastor. So flavorful, small, delicious, amazing. Everything here is amazing. The chips and salsa, the mole enchiladas, the stew, and the sopapillas are very unique, fluffy, soft and delicious. The owners are the kindest people. We have been coming here for over 15 years. Highly recommend the fajitas!!
Always great and fresh made food. My daughter and I shared the Botanas platter. It was delicious and more than enough for us. Comes with queso, guacamole, sour cream, Pico, jalapeños, bean & cheese nachos with fajita beef and chicken, chicken flautas, quesadillas with fajita beef and chicken. So much good food fir only $19.99 Oh, in the picture, we had already ate one huge nacho and one quesadilla. 😆
My new favorite Mexican place! Everything was wonderful and homemade. The family that owns it is wonderful! The building is a super cool historic building with a plaque. There’s plenty of easy parking on the street and pay lots. I highly recommend!
Great food, prices. Staff was fantastic. And after how I saw they treated local denizens that were down & out…. These are great people and I’ll eat here every chance I get. Wonderful, beautiful owners!!
Food was delicious, music was a vibe, hostess was very welcoming, margaritas were just right, and the atmosphere was perfect. Prices were set just right. It's good for dinner with friends, date night, or family outing. Highly recommend coming here. I can't say enough good things about this place.
I was craving some authentic Mexican tacos but also queso and this place hit the spot! Queso was good. My date got the Albondigo soup which was very delicious. I got their pork carnita tacos and they were absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and tender. Rice was also delicious and so were the margaritas! Apparently they were on diners, drive ins and dives and I absolutely see why! So delicious!!!
Insanely good drinks, very very very good food, service is second to none within a 100 mile radius. Chips and salsa are 9.3 and 9.4 out of 10 respectively. I got a mango marg on ice it was 9.7/10 very very good alcohol and flavor profile and perfect amount of ice. Service (from hostess to server to bus boy to chef and manager) 10/10 absolutely remarkable, no faults. The Tacos Nortènos featured in Guy’s Triple D was juicy, flavorful, spiced and seasoned to perfection. Rice fluffy and perfect, beans spectacular. I would give the meal an 9.9/10 it did not leave anything to be desired and it was out of this world. Hot, fresh, flavorful, obviously made by someone that knows exactly what they’re doing. I just simply have nothing to improve upon it or complain about. Please come here, very very good.
This is one of the better Mexican spots I’ve tried in Dallas. It’s also been open for 30 years! The Al pastor tacos here are packed with ridiculous flavor. The pork is cooked in a pineapple cascabel (chile) sauce. The flavors will hit you with your first bite. Trust me, order the Al pastor tacos. The rice and pickled onions and veggies that come with the tacos on the side are really good too. The refried beans were good. The salsa that came with the chips was some of the best I think I’ve tried. It was so warm! Really cool artwork on the walls too. Friendly staff and good service. I will definitely be coming back for a second visit!
Stopped in here for dinner on our way to a concert at Dos Equis Pavilion. Even though we came in on a Saturday night, we were seated quickly. Service was very friendly and food and drinks came out quickly. There are complementary chips and salsa, and both are very good. Chips are thick and crunchy. I had the spicy skinny margarita, which was fantastic. My wife had a Paloma, which was also very good. Big menu with standard Tex Mex options, which is a good thing! My wife had the deep-fried mini tacos from the appetizer menu (similar to Jack-in-the-Box, but actually homemade and tasty), and I had the combo plate with enchiladas and a beef fajita taco. Highly recommended if you’re in the area looking for a good Tex-Mex dinner!
Just look at this beauty! Have been coming here for many years and the food is always constantly good, as well as friendly and helpful customer service. They have delicious lunch specials at a reasonable price offering. Typically under normal circumstances the lunch crowd gets a bit hectic, but they handle it well, like professionals. I'll keep coming back to satisfy my cravings.
I have been coming here for prob 10 years or more. Love this place. The wait staff always have a smile on their face, eager to chit chat at the table and welcoming from beginning to end. The hand made tortillas are amazing as is all the authentic dishes. Awesome margaritas, cold beers and the patio is great in nice weather.
Food and service were amazing! I highly recommend the enchiladas with the chipotle wine sauce...AMAZING!!

Coming here solo as a brown guy from Toronto was a very interesting experience. Black culture where I'm from is predominantly Caribbean, Southern Black culture is something I've only had third-person experience of. I was circling the neighbourhood for a bit, unsure of where I should go since I was on my own. There was a girl promoting the place outside of the club, she told me it was still free entry at that point of the night so I was sold. Pat down was thorough, which is understandable given the local gun culture. I ordered the Red Ball subbed with vodka from a chill bartender, price was right especially for a club. It was very early in the night so the main floor wasn't very active yet, so after some time I wet up to the rooftop to vibe out. I noticed a sign that prohibited cannabis...but EVERYONE was smoking blunts hahaha. The vibe on the rooftop was cool, it was awesome hearing southern rappers in a club like Lil Boosie, Webbie etc. because you don't ever hear that type of music in Toronto clubs. People weren't exactly friendly but not hostile either, I felt comfortable even though I was by myself.
Bartender was cool and trying to make small talk. We got there at 9pm so too early bc it was dead but he showed me a video of it packed at 1am so will have to come back later. The DJ was throwing jams! Good music. I liked the roof top vibe.
Chill environment. Nice drinks. Music is good sometimes (they play a lot of oldies) but other than that the vibe is nice 💯
My family and I have been regular patrons at this location since it opened 20+ yrs ago. Always welcoming for large groups of 6 or more, but also personal interaction with smaller singles and couples. Food has always been solid traditional Tex-Mex rather than newer/niche fads. Living outside the area now means we still keep this on our list when we get back to BigD.

My fellow Dallas Yelpers did not let me down on this place!\n\nI was in an area of town that I seldom go to, but wanted some good mexican food. I looked up highly rated area in the Deep Ellum area …
We had the Tacos Nortenos and Pollo Al Mojo De Ajo, both were really good. Loved the chipotle wine sauce on the tacos! margarita was very good, as well.
If you're of a certain culture, you'll most likely enjoy this place. The staff was nice, the drinks came quick. Plenty of security guards everywhere. Very good pat down upon entry. The upstairs dance floor was large and if not so cold out probably quite fun. Definitely a place for people liking some booty shaking rap music. I wasn't quite in that kind of dance mood.. lol
I dig The Nines, the women are attractive and active (dancing, drinking and sociable). There is not much negativity from the fellas and the staff assists you the whole night from behind the bar to the front door. Nice location, they are near other bars and restaurants. I have a good time every/time I go.
Love the rooftop area of this place. The downstairs area is pretty small. I don't like the new "dance floor" area. Too small. I liked it better when it was Red Light Lounge. Other than that, it's a chill spot to hang out for drinks and listen to music.

Had the albondiga soup and it was salty. Food is ok ,parking is horrible. Will not come back. I compare it to T.Bell.
Why would I pay $7 for parking just to have lunch which is to cost me a good $50 so, no thanks. There are plenty of great Mexican restaurants around that don't charge for parking
Charged $90 for parking and when I left I was harassed by a guy trying to force me to let him wash my windshield with his bucket and squeegee. There are no gates or parking lot attendants/security or any indication this is a paid parking lot. I was parked here for 3 hours and received a letter saying I parked illegally and owe $90. No parking is that is expensive. I didn’t even spend that much at the club that night. Not safe, ripped off, stay away from this place!
Bouncer that was there tonight needs to go thru training again or something. Groped an entire group of dudes and asked my non binary partner to tell him what exact gender they are so he knew if he should pat them down. Why not just use the wand and let them go on their way? Definitely needs to become educated so this doesn’t happen to more people. Won’t be coming back.
Last time i went i had one drink & the room started spinning & i started throwing up… i think that says it all. Never going there again, i didn’t feel normal till that sunday, mind you i went on a Friday..
So I’m leaving a one star review because if google could let me leave a zero I would most definitely give it to this “club/bar” for being the worst establishment in Deep Ellum. This bar is disgustingly prejudice. I recently just went last Saturday with me and a couple of girlfriends, me being the only guy out the group who is 5’0 foot, the shortest and smallest out of them, and pretty much everyone else inside the bar was literally manhandled and harassed by a security guard for using the bathroom. Pushed me to the ground for no reason. Behind this, told my friend that he was about to put his hands on me while I’m inside the bathroom?? (And so y’all are not confused the bathroom is for both male and females, it’s literally just one bathroom for whoever needs to use it, even has a sign showing that right outside the door) So when I come out I’m literally on the floor confused as ever to be on the GROUND!!! For NO reason!!! Men like him have a big insecurity issue within themselves for you to go out your way and hurt others who don’t pose a threat and are just being themselves and I’m only writing this review for a lawsuit because once I tried to still be the bigger and responsible person after I was the one getting touched for no reason, I tried talking to the bartender, security outside and several other workers to get the security name and all I got was “were not obligated to give out that information” asked to speak to a manager “I’m the manager for the night” apparently every person I spoke with is a manager up there which is beyond hilarious and ridiculous. But I thank god for the support system I have… filed a police report and spoke with a lawyer, it’s tragic people still have to deal with this kind of stuff in 2024.
I had heard great things about this place and was excited to celebrate my special day here with friends and family but once we arrived everything went downhill. They refused to seat us despite showing proof of our reservation and after waiting almost half an hour we were finally seated. The owner was extremely rude when we tried to bring it up and refused to hear us out. I totally understand the pressure restaurant owners carry but to go out your way and literally tell us to "get out and find a diff club" is ridiculous. Unfortunately, the night was ruined, I would hate for anyone to go through the same experience.
