We have no complaints the price is great some days it’s all you can eat except for the crab legs
Vincent was spectacular! As a Resturant owner myself, he definitely should be head of house! I will definitely recommend this place!
The staff was very helpful with breaking down their different boil bags and how the custom boil bags work. Prices are fair considering how good and flavorful the food is, not to mention their delicious alcoholic drinks that pair perfect with the food!
Johnny is hands down one of the best servers I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. From the moment we were seated, he made us feel welcomed and taken care of. His professionalism, friendly attitude, and attention to detail truly stood out. He anticipated our needs, made great recommendations, and kept everything running smoothly without ever being overbearing.
The best crawfish I've had in Dallas' hands down their sauce is what does it. Get all the flavors mixed but only get medium heat even if you like it spicy. Im from New Orleans, so I know good crawfish. It's very pricey, definitely a free paycheck meal, lol They have an all you can eat special that is a great deal with lots of options. The only downside is that everyone in your party has to get "all you can eat"! Their fried catfish is good aswell.
This place is definitely worth it and I would for sure come again. It’s not a true 5 stars more like 4.7. Though it was delicious there is some minor things that could be better. When I came, the soda machine was down, unfortunately because a nice Pepsi would have gone perfectly with the flavor of the RK Sauce. The next thing is that the garlic noodles are amazinggggg! But it was brought out way before our seafood came out so it just sat there cold. I like to eat the noodles with the sauce, so would have wanted it to come out at the same time. The RK Sauce is to die for, super delicious! I do have to say I felt the shrimp was a little overcooked because it was pretty mushy. And my last issue is that for some reason these snow crab legs were the hardest to get the meat out. I don’t know if it was the length of which the crab was cooked but the meat kept clinging onto the inside of the shell. Even when I was scraping it off with the top of the fork it was not coming off so it took awhile to eat.
This place is amazing! It's definitely ain't no Red Lobster cause this has flavor!! I did the Cajun spice with the Mild heat level it was perfect! Had 3lbs Crab legs, sausage, craw fish, shrimp, potatoes, and corn all tasted amazing! Definitely worth checking them out! Went right after lunch time place wants bust but was steady with to go orders. Music was turnt up and the vibe was pretty good and staff sure didn't mind me making a mess and were very friendly! Spent about $180 which wasn't bad. I think for the same thing I paid $200 at another place. But the flavor at Red Claw was so much better! Definitely be back!
My coworker and I found this place through Google and Yelp. They have some really great and fresh seafood. I come for the snow crabs and order the RC Kick seasoning. It's very buttery, garlicky and offers a nice Cajun kick. The establishment is always clean and service is exceptional. The staff is always very welcoming. They also have a huge sink located outside so you can wash down as opposed to making your way to the restroom.
My party went for dinner, everyone must eat AYCE IN your party for you to be able to do AYCE. $50 per person, with half a pound of different seafoods (up to four) at a time with variety of sides. I personally had the crawfish, snow crab, octopus and shrimp, all were sooo good. Great flavors - RC KICK is the best! The snow crab, you can only order once! Plus you can order corn, sausage, potatoes, ramen noodles, etc. with your seafood. Service was also good, everyone was very nice! It can get a little busy so if you’re trying to continuously eat, then make sure you order your next batch half way through your current batch. Everything was super flavorful, very garlic rich (except the plain obviously)! The spicy levels were even pretty good! Hot and extremely hot actually had me sweating a little! Great deal for AYCE in my personal opinion. The variety of sides is always great, my husband and friends got the wings and they said it was very delicious!
This restaurant is located in a strip mall just off Frankford Rd. It is easy to find and easy to get in and out of. There is disabled parking right in front, and plenty of regular parking around it. When I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by its decor and feel. It was fun and lively, as well. I was in for a late lunch and they were filling up. They have some great choices on the menu. There is also a small bar that you can sit at. The music was playing loud, but not so loud that you can't hold a conversation. I got the shrimp basket with Cajun fries. I ordered a side of hush puppies to try, as well. The shrimp was pretty good. I didn't notice any Cajun flavors on those, pretty sure they were just a regular order. The fries were delicious. The tartar sauce and cocktail sauce were well made. The hush puppies were too plain and mushy on the inside for me. Kind of reminded me of a cake pop, inside. But, my sister loved them. Overall, it was a good experience. The staff was friendly and they were quick with everyone's orders.
My boyfriend and I visited this establishment at his suggestion, per a rave review on TikTok. As seafood lovers, we were both excited to try it, but, in all honesty, were disappointed with the quality and taste of the meal we ordered. We opted for the "All You Can Eat" deal, as we were surprised by the variety of dishes included. Aside from him not receiving all of the items he asked for, some components of the dish were overly seasoned, while others were altogether bland and inedible. It is our opinion that the elements of the meal did not go well together at all. On a positive note...the atmosphere was nice, and we very much enjoyed the music, ambiance, and aesthetics.
Ordered the #2 bucket; 1 lb Crawfish, 2 Snow Crab Clusters, 2 each (Corn, Potato & Sausage), gumbo, calamari, and cajun fries. We chose garlic flavor and medium heat. The garlic flavoring was very good. Medium heat was too mild, I didn't feel it. The crab legs were good. The crawfish was a disappointment. I know it's early in the season, but they must only order the cheapest bags. They were very small. The potatoes, corn, and sausage were very good as well. The calamari was good, but a bit on the salty level. The fires were ok, and the portion size was small. The gumbo was bland. Taste is subjective, and I would eat here again if someone wanted to go. The problem is the overall service. The staff was friendly and helpful, but they were overwhelmed or poor planning on the way they operate. Ordering food took a long time. Each time someone ordered, the cashier would go set up the table, come back, and then charge. When we ordered, the cashier left to set the table and then started taking refill orders. We waited until someone else took over. Asking for a refill is almost impossible. You also have to ask for hotsauce, lemons, or anything else because there are none at the table or a station to grab them. If I have to ask, that's fine, but again, someone needs to come by to the table. For the crab legs, they gave us 1 scissor, and that's it. I would have rather had a cracker and a fork, but the scissor worked just fine. This place gets very busy, and they have an all you can eat option.
I had no other choice then to come here due to Quickie Crab being crashed into by a vehicle. The food was subpar, nothing compared to Quickie Crab in Lewisville, Tx. No hate to the restaurant, I just don't think the rating should be on par with Da crab. Me personally, I'm spending my hard earned money at the crab. I personally know that Mr. Q Crab has better food. Unfortunate what happened, but they'll bounce back. "Minor setback for a Major Comeback. One love"
The crawfish were tiny not cleaned, shrimp were definitely not clean full of poop overcooked and mushy. It would be a nice place if they put more effort into cleaning and cooking the seafood properly
Wanted to try some seafood as I’m pregnant and have been craving it real bad. My sister and I came to enjoy the all you can eat deal service was fast and friendly you do get a lot of food so much we were not able to finish it but more so because I became very sick after just a few bites. I tried eating more as you cannot take anything left over to go which is ridiculous considering how much you pay. I couldn’t even make it 20 minutes home before I threw up all over my car, then proceeded to have diarrhea and that went on for at least an hour my sister also was sick from the food. Needless to say we won’t be returning. The only dish I really enjoyed were the fried pickles.
Absolutely Grosssssssss! I spent over $100 here Today June 3rd and the food is gross I’m highly disappointed. I ordered my food online, I got the Bucket #5 and my shrimp is so mushy that it is smearing all over my fingers while I am trying to peel it. The Crawfish is so chewy, the Snow Crab was decent. I also got the Garlic Noodles and they were over cooked and so much garlic on them that it’s overpowering you can’t taste any other seasonings. When I tried to call no one answers the phone and I don’t live here so I can’t just turn around and go back!!! Posted Pictures as well. Super upset and really frustrated 0/10 for this place
