12/8/25: Delicious food! I would come here everyday if I worked downtown. I had the Wagyu Beef sandwich which was perfect. My brother had an egg salad teriyaki which was also flavorful. The strawberry matcha was perfect to taste and Japanese sweet donut is delicious! My only con was the employee throwing chairs around closing time. She was frustrated for some reason or going fast so we felt rushed to get out of her way. Hope she feels better.
Really sweet place to visit! I had their sandwiches back when they partnered up with Goldee’s in spring 2022. Enjoyed their spicy katsu chicken sandwhich and the cream strawberry one. The spicy katsu was similar flavor profile to buffalo, not too spicy but enough kick! I also got their earl grey matcha latte. Really well made! Would definitely come here again.
Had their popup in OKC, had a good line that moved quickly and great service, overall great sandos but the spicy chicken katsu was next level 🔥
the matcha is really goodddd, i love the sando there, it’s so flavorful, the only off part was the parking, other than that, the location is really good, it’s perfect for a little snack midday of exploring downtown (honestly it’s really full)
Everything was so yummy, Jenni is the absolute sweetest. This was the first time I’ve seen mango lassi offered in a way like this and SO. GOODDDD AND REFRESHING. Hojicha is a green tea but literally so creamy and delicious. Their sandwiches are massive and so filling. The shrimp one (don’t judge by the picture) is so good and I saw someone else w the egg and strawberry cream one and they’re also massive. Def would come again
Finally I checked out Sandoitchi, and yes—it’s a bit on the pricier side (sandwiches start around $10), but I honestly think it’s worth it. The flavor is there. I got the chicken katsu sando and it was hot, crispy, and super satisfying. Also tried the mango sando—which was really good too, like dessert in sandwich form. Definitely one of the better sando spots in the Dallas area. Considering they’re right across from The Eye, I’m sure rent’s not cheap, so the pricing makes sense. I also got the matcha latte, but it was a little bland for me—I like my matcha stronger.
I had this is a pop-up in OKC me and my kid travel down there mainly for some sandwiches and some Museum action. I have to say that the sandwiches did not disappoint, we got the strawberry creme mango cream the original chicken and the ribeye also we had the Ube Lassie. That drink was amazing not only aesthetically appealing but so tasty I must say. Also the chicken was fired the strawberry was really good the mango was a little under right but still pretty tasty also you have a great view of the eyeball. Eye guess you say it was a great experience. And not to mention the staff of super friendly and very helpful we went in a little bit late but still got out before they close and it was a great experience all around parking was it a bit difficult but we made it happen. PS the packaging was super satisfying and it fit in the bag perfectly like four sandwiches snuggly fit. It was quite satisfying
The strawberry cream sando was so delightful, if you want to take a bite of something heavenly delicious. Definitely recommend the strawberry cream sando
I absolutely love Sandoitchi! I remember when they were just a pop up on Instagram and now they their own little shop by the hotel. The Spicy Truffle Katsu is my absolute favorite. It very well balanced and all of the flavors compliment each other very well. I would eat it every week if I could but I live 40-50 minutes away. I also like the Shrimp Sando, but I believe that one might be seasonal. I really like that they have different and new sandwiches here and there. I also love the Yuzu Arnold Palmer, literally chef’s kiss. I could drink a whole gallon of that. I usually buy 2 because it’s just that good. I first tried the drink at the Texas State Fair, and when I found out they opened a location in Dallas, I had to try it out. I will definitely be back there soon.
Loved my strawberry matcha! So refreshing and yummy! My first time here :)

we came during lunch on a sunday and there was enough space for us! it was beautiful to eat on the patio that's perfectly in the shade. the drinks were beautiful AND delicious. the sandwiches were perfection. the bread was heavenly and light, the chicken was cooked to perfection to be so tender while the outside was flaky and crispy! 100% coming back again!!
Had a great experience at Sandoitchi today, and I especially want to shout out Priscilla. She was genuinely kind, patient, and super helpful from the moment I walked in. She took the time to explain the menu, made great recommendations, and made me feel really welcome. It’s always nice when someone treats you with warmth instead of just “doing their job,” and Priscilla definitely did that. Service like hers really makes the whole visit better. Thanks again — will definitely be back!
This place has been on my bucket list for a hot minute Glad I finally came here. Katsu sandwich was phenomenal, and the quality of the food and drink here is superb. Worth every penny.
Tried Sandoitchi recently and overall it was a solid experience!! Cajun Ebi sando: couldn’t really taste much Cajun seasoning, but still a pretty good sandwich overall. The fried shrimp and a good texture and wasn’t overcooked. Chicken katsu: wasn’t my favorite. It was fine, just not something I’d reorder. The sauce leaned way too sweet for me, the chicken wasn’t very juicy, and it lacked flavor. The bread on both sandos was okay but not what I was hoping for. It felt more like American white bread than Japanese milk bread, which is more fluffy and slightly sweet. Also could’ve used a bit more mayo since the sandwich did taste a little dry. Drinks: I appreciate the creativity of the drinks. However, the matcha was just okay but I could notice the clumps suspended in the milk, so i had to keep on stirring my drink as I continued to sip. The matcha flavor itself was weak and got overpowered by the other ingredients. The ube mango lassi, though, was solid. All the drinks were too sweet for me though. Prices are on the higher side for what you get, but the food was still enjoyable and convenient if you’re craving a sando and don’t want to think too hard about it. There is some bench seating inside and tables outside the front.
The only physical location they have as of January 2026. I love spicy food & bread. This is the perfect trabajo & go place. Keep in mind they have outdoor patio seating & very limited bar stool seating inside. Plus, they're located right across the Eye 👁 & it's a perfect for people watching when weather permits. Food & drinks ordered: Iced strawberry 🍓 matcha Spicy Truffle Chicken Katsu Sando Smacked Cucumber Salad
Anyone who's lived/visited Japan knows these style of sandwiches very well. Had a chance to speak with the chef and he was awesome. The the proprietary blend on the French fries were so tasty along with their house spicy ketchup and unique ranch. I'd recommend the Spicy Truffle Chicken Katsu and if it's still on the menu when you see this, the seasonal Smoked Ribeye Katsu. Come get a taste of Japan!
We've heard great things about Sandoitchi and looked forward to trying it after our walking tour of Dallas. It's easily located right across from The Eye and has indoor & outdoor seating area. We ordered the spicy truffle & classic chicken sandwich and strawberry cold sandwich for dessert. The spicy truffle chicken sandwich had a creamy sauce that overpowered any hint of truffle in it. The sandwich tasted salty to us midway through the first half. The classic chicken sandwich had a slight vinegar taste to it that we couldn't put our finger. Both sandwiches were mediocre and didn't justify the $12 we paid for each. The cold strawberry sandwich is as basic as it comes with lighty sweetened whipped cream and three strawberries for $8 a sandwich. Service wise, it was quick and we could see the hot sandwiches being made to order. We even saw them grinding matcha powder and aerating it first before adding in the remaining ingredients to complete the drink, which we found interesting compared to most places that just mix the matcha powder into the drink. A few hours later and having eaten nothing all day except Sandoitchi, I'm sad to say that the sandwiches did not settle well. Our stomachs bubbled and churned, leading to several potty trips 😕
A little slice of Japan exists on Main Street across from the Big Eyeball. Tasty little Katsu-fried chicken sandos on milk bread are the order of the day. The curly fries were good. There’s a bar with some seating inside and several tables outside. You can enjoy your food while watching people get their photo op with the Big Eye in the background, which is kinda’ cool.

The food was good but lacking a little flavor in my opinion. I enjoyed my matcha latte but again lacking some flavor. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back. If I were in the area I wouldn’t mind eating here again.
I just went there during the lunch rush. I tried the strawberry dessert sando, mango Ube lassi drink, and the spicy katsu chicken Sando. All items were very good and tasty. There was a line with people waiting to order who were sweating and there was no seating available for people to eat. The staff were nice. It's a small place with very limited seating. I recommend ordering your food to go.

I went to your pop-up store in Denver, located inside the Source hotel’s building. Your Matcha drinks are great! I had your Strawberry matcha latte and Horchata Matcha. We went to your pop-up store twice. First time we waited in line for about 20 mins, which was fine to us. But the second time we went, the line was triple in length from the last time. So our group decided not to have your drinks that day. If you’d like to improve your customer satisfaction, please do not come back ever again to the Source building as your pop-up or permanent location. The parking issue at the Source hotel is very frustrating. We got stuck inside the parking building for more than 15 minutes, just trying to get out. There is only one lane for paying parking fee and the shops there do not validate our parking. The building charges extensive fees with only one hour free parking, the next hour is $8, the following hour is $16. With the line to order your drinks of about 20 minutes to an hour plus traffic inside the parking building, customers easily have to pay a minimum of $8 for every time they visit this parking building. If I go just to buy one drink of $10 and I have to pay $8 for parking, I don’t think I can justify the parking fee. If you come back to Denver, we’d love to visit your shop again. Therefore, please do not come back to the Source hotel’s building again next time if you’d like to improve your clients’ satisfaction. I hope you understand our frustration.
Hey loved the area Fs. Employees were nice and chill. Unfortunately there was a a little red strand of hair my bfs Roasted Chicken sando😖first few bite was good tho. Mistakes happen. Didnt take a photo of the hair and take it back due us coming in a little later( 2:30). Loved the Matcha latte tho 😋😋

Overall this was 5/10. In my opinion they are extremely overcharging for this but thats coming from someone that went to Japan for the same thing and it costs $6 per sandwich. I got the egg salad sandwich. It taste exactly like you’d think it would. Kind of bland favored egg but the yolk was cooked perfectly. I had to add some salt and sauce to get any kind of taste. Overall it was 6/10. Simply because it’s just egg in a sandwich. Second sandwich I got was the “spicy chicken sando” The crunch was there and it was tender but the mustard or sauce was not a good pick. Maybe it was the salad mix that was in the sandwich but something made it bitter and it was not spicy. If it was actually spicy then this sandwich would be amazing. Overall a 6.3/10 Not pictured was the disgusting horchata late! Absolutely nasty and that gets a 1/10 I did try the sweet potato crisps and that was the perfect amount of crisp with the right amount of salt topping. This gets a 8.5/10 Not bad for a first time visit but I would not recommend a second time visit. As you know parking in Dallas is the worst and the prices need to be realistically adjusted or dropped. My Instagram is @im_alwayshungryy
This is a poor imitation of a Japanese sandwich shop. Prices are way too high, service was really slow, the quality of the food was mid at best. The bread is too thick, they didn’t trim the crust, and they managed to screw up something as simple as a strawberry cream sandwich. I’ve been to great Japanese sandwich shops and this is not one of them. Would not recommend.
