Service and food is always great here, we have been coming here since my Granddaughters were 3 and 5, now they are 16 and 18 and still is their favorite place to eat.
Man say! I don’t usually leave reviews but this is place is awesome!! The slices of pizza were HUGE and the chicken parm was amazing . Will be back for sure.
This is THE restaurant for family style Italian cuisine. Large portions and great for take home and game days. BYOB and they’ll serve you just right. This is what I would call a great Dallas standby.
I got the lunch special eggplant parmesan and it came with a salad. The eggplant parmesan was excellent! The salad was mostly bare with a few grape tomatoes and a couple pepperoncinis. The bread knots before the meal was nice and soft and came with marinara. Service was good even with my Bible study group. Atmosphere was not crowded or too noisy. Would go again.
Great food at a very reasonable price. The service was fast and attentive. Don't let the location or the lack of a appealing storefront put you off. I'm there for good food, not fancy neon signs.
This family owned Italian eatery had been in the Lake Highlands area for as long as I have been forming memories. The owners help staff the restaurant which provides impeccable service. What I really want to discuss is the food, because you can't go wrong if you decided to choose your dish using the dart method. Everything is great! I in particular LOVE the Tortellini. It's made with a red cream sauce, and the pasta is perfect al dente that melts in your mouth. Overall, while Tony's is a cozy spot good for families and to take a date... The real value is in the quality of food you're getting. I promise you won't be disappointed.
We have been to Tony’s several times and have always enjoyed this neighborhood establishment. Great food and friendly service with lots of regular clientele. I am particularly fond of their Stromboli but there are plenty of great pasta options and their garlic bread knots are melt in your mouth good!! Important to note they don’t serve alcohol but you can bring your own adult beverages if you so desire. Enjoy!!
The REAL SCOOP…. I’m so blessed to have found this gem of a FAMILY and when I mean family they meant it ….. restaurant!!! They treat you like family when you walk it when you sit down when you are eating and when you even order it take out!!! I mean I never order out bc I love to dine it’s it’s BYOB!!! This time kids slept in the car and I placed my order over the phone on the way down from Allen!! Yes I drive from Allen just for Tony’s!!! You guys never disappoint and even when I took the order home they filled the containers to the brim….like when you eat there the plate is over filled with their generosity and love in the amount of food you get!!! Tony, Brad, Mama & everyone else that I may have missed God bless yall and Thank You! I can’t find words to describe extreme thanks and gratitude for you and your establishment!! Well Well done!!
Walking in you get the no frills old school vibes of this family run restaurant. We started with the calamari $9.95 which was perfectly cooked and tender, served with a tasty marinara sauce for dipping. For my main I had the Eggplant Rollentina which was delicious and a great price at $9.95. There was tonnes of cheese and sauce and leftovers to take home. Service was fast and friendly with quick refills on our drinks. It's bring your own beer and wine if you want alcohol. Great value for your dollar in a warm, comfortable atmosphere.
Neighborhood staple! What a great find for lovers of home style Italian food from Nona: large portions, menu and prices have been consistently 👍 👍, hearty meals, BYOW/B. Their pastas are good, tomato salad dressing is a bomb, pizzas are worth it. The place has a very cozy atmosphere. They used to be a hidden gem when we first found them in 2014, moving from NYC. We smelled it was a proper Italian food joint, and we loved them ever since. #Cheapeats: cheap in price but not in taste.
I gotta say this is the best pizza I've had since moving to Dallas which hands down beats everything where I used to live. Prices are good and the Rigatoni with vodka sauce is heaven. Get them both…

Warm bread with marinara sauce was served as soon as we sat down. My friends have eaten here for years! It was my first visit. Can't wait to come back!

This place is 10/10. Seriously some of the best pasta in town and their homemade bread is SO good!
Outstanding pizza. The staff was great, the food was enjoyed by all. The prices are most reasonable. I will be back.
This was a delicious authentic meal and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was there for a birthday dinner and we had plenty of space to enjoy each other’s company. The large party made it hard to get refills on drinks, but I won’t hold that against them. Definitely planning on going back with the family.
When you walk into Tony’s you get that old-fashioned Italian restaurant kind of feel. Great smells and atmosphere. Service by the waitress was outstanding and friendly. Great selection of items and decided to go for the Stromboli. I ordered a Canadian bacon and other veggie Stromboli. Good sized portion but there was a cheaper version of Canadian bacon.. could tell it wasn’t the real thing …(small, perfectly round like pepperoni) for the most part the Stromboli was good even though there were a few bites on each end that were not cooked properly through. The Marinara sauce on the side was on point . Great taste .. Overall, ok maybe next time I’ll try a pasta dish. 🇮🇹🍝
This is a hidden gem. I was quite surprised. I was very pleased with the taste and the portions. The prices are also reasonable. Our servicer did a great job and the staff was also nice. They offer complimentary garlic knots with marinara sauce. I had the eggplant parmesan and my coworker had the spaghetti and meatballs. Our meal also came with a salad. I will have to come back to try the pizza. I heard it was delish as well. Everything was delicious. 😋 👍
We tried the side Cesar tossed salad, mozzarella sticks, small meat lovers pizza, and small pepperoni with mushrooms pizza. A small pizza easily feeds 2 - 3 people. As soon as we sat down, we were served hot garlic bread knots with a side of marinara sauce. I wish the marinara sauce was a bit sweeter, but the bread was great! I needed more consistency in the soft drinks. The first sprite I was served was flat, but the second was perfect. Prices are low, and the menu has plenty of options, so I'm encouraged to return to try more menu items.
I was invited to Lunch because I was wanting Baked Ziti. I had already tried their pizza and it was Delicious. I can say that their Baked Ziti was delicious too. I love their House Salad dressing along with their Fresh Baked Garlic Rolls. Everyone was nice. The Restaurant was a little small but had an Italian feel as their decor along with the music which I enjoyed. I will go back.
There's a reason people look for NY-style Italian in Dallas and not the other way around. In fact, Dallas-style Italian isn't a thing...or is it? Apparently it is, and it can be found at Tony's becau…

We had pasta and pizza. My rigatoni vodka sauce was delicious, and so was my husband's tortellini!
The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and a nice setting, making it an enjoyable place to dine. The food was decent, though it could use a little more flavor, and the service, while a bit reserved, was efficient. Overall, it was a nice experience with room for improvement, and I appreciate the opportunity to give it a try.
Customer service from an older lady was rude. She kept reaching over me or pass my face, no excuse me. Pizza is flimsy. Had to tell the lady stop reaching over me, and she acted clueless to what i was telling her.
My boyfriend saw this place on TikTok a while back and we finally made the time to visit for lunch. “Seat Yourself” signage would be nice as we stood around for a bit, two servers walked back and forth but didn’t even acknowledge us, then had to walk to the kitchen area to ask if we order first but then we were instructed to sit. Our server was very serious and wasn’t very attentive. The food LOOKS good but doesn’t taste good. It doesn’t taste bad either it’s just really bland. He got a chicken fettuccini alfredo and said he could have done with less sauce and more seasonings. I got a chicken cesar salad and the chicken was very dry and salad a little bitter. We also shared a meat lover’s pizza and that was definitely better. Overall, the food was mediocre and lacked seasoning. Personally, I wouldn’t come back.
Ordered a chicken arabiata, with rolls, & a side salad. Side salad with house dressing was okay. Rolls were okay. Not one bit of chicken in the entire entree order. Normally this meal came with t…
Definite decline in the food. On 10/25 I ordered take-out chicken picca and chicken sofretto. They totally skipped the necessary step of pounding the chicken breast thin. They were just thick…
Worst service in town. The wait person waited to bring my salad and rolls until the lasagna was ready so by the time I got my salad finished the lasagna was cold. This is lunch service. They act …
