Great little breakfast gem! Food was even better than it looks ... And the cinnamon bun is a MUST try!! Unfortunately, my server was not very polite or attentive, but the food made up for it.

Great atmosphere, food was delicious and service was fantastic. Indoor and outdoor seating. I had ground beef tacos and a side of sweet potato fries. It’s located by Dana Harbor, so you can take a walk after and enjoy the view.

Local favorite. I can see why! Might be a bit of a wait but worth it. I have the veggie omelet without egg- #allergygirl … I’m allergic to eggs. Not always a satisfying meal but in this case it was excellent! Ask for the salsa - it’s delicious. The potatoes are not greasy but fried to perfection. The sourdough toast was lightly toasted and lightly buttered.

We were invited to RJ Cafe, and they fulfilled all our desires. The breakfast was wonderful, especially their omelet. The great atmosphere + excellent service + delicious food made this place truly special.

The CINNAMON roll French toast will blow your mind!! The Starling outdoor/indoor restaurant is located close to the water but you don’t see the water. You get the fresh breeze off the ocean as you eat brunch and it is so magical. The service is outstanding and the food is even better! We got the cinnamon roll French toast in the combo which I highly recommend, the feta and avocado scramble, The chicken fried steak, and a classic omelette with bacon and ham and cheese but we turned it into a scramble and added avocado. We also got the Apple stuffed French toast and it was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen! It tasted even better! Everything was so off the charts! We were filled to the brim with such amazing food and we will definitely be returning!

We stoped in for lunch. Cool place, nice atmosphere, great staff, acceptable food. We had a Swiss burger and a tuna sandwich- both were in need of salt or seasoning. Aside from that, it was fine.

RJs was Mid at best. Great looking restaurant, service was great just the food blah. The breakfast potatoes were old and had a sour cream taste to them.

Cute place right near the marina. Definately has cafe vibe both from the customers and the staff (good thing). Servers were awesome. What I had was mediocre and a bit on the pricey side for it (location up charge I am sure). Lots of hot sauce choices (which I love).

Good overall. The corned beef hash was excellent, perfectly cooked and flavorful. I ordered my eggs over easy and those were also perfectly done. The only downside was the cinnamon roll. The bread was a bit dry, but the worse part was the cinnamon mixture. It was incredibly potent. It had the after-taste of a cinnamon candy like red hots. Not for my taste

The pancakes were the highlight of the meal, while the eggs and bacon were very mediocre. The coffee was bad and they don't have latte's. Waited way to long for the food also. Service was totally fine, but overall, the place felt a bit pricey for what you actually get.

I went for the first time to RJs Cafe last week. I took my mother for her birthday reakfast expecting a beautiful beach view with awesome food... Since it's literally accross the street from the beach, we were surprized to find that there's no beach view at all. It's a matter of fact, the whole dining area faces inland toward a courtyard and the beautiful beach view is on the side that the kitchen us on. Service was pretty average but they had run out of spoons so we never got to use spoons. My eggs benedict was just average. I bought a t-shirt for my mother and/but she preferred a medium. So when I went back to trade up for a larger size, I was told that although it was the same price, the cashiere had to first figure our how to give me a refund on my credit-card first before re-ringing up for a different size which took about ten minutes. I was like, if its the same price, can't you just swap it out so we can go? - - - Nope, we have to do this for inventory sir... :-(

roadtrip couple

Would have got 4/5 stars but surprisingly in this day and age no milk alternatives like oat milk or almond milk available ( important for lactose intolerant people ). For a breakfast place bit odd not to have yogurt in any form. Plus is they have a pet friendly patio(decent large size) . The egg omelette was well made. Home fries were great too.

Disappointed in the food. They slapped a slab of cream cheese between two pieces of cinnamon bread for their “stuffed french toast” and called it good to go. None if the cream cheese melted, it was a cold slab of cream cheese. Also ordered the “BIG” burrito…that wasnt big at all. Easily a taco bell sized burrito with not much taste/flavor. Service and atmosphere were nice but didnt make up for the food.
