Very friendly, always flavorful, fast service, the list goes on! This is now one of our favorite rainy/cold day spots to eat. Spicy food warms you up! Also had to add that I'm totally addicted to their cucumber side dish.
I usually order their Veggie Bibimbap and Spicy Pork Bulgogi. Both have a fresh, home cooked taste! Additionally, the portions (which come with fresh sides) are enough to divide into a filling lunch and dinner. Customer service is also wonderful. My order was stolen once, and the staff immediately picked up my phone call and the boss offered a full refund.
A wonderful dining experience from start to finish! The service was fantastic—attentive without being overbearing. The food was flavorful and fresh, especially the kimchi fried rice and Korean BBQ, which were absolute standouts. The ambiance was cozy, with minimalist decor that still captured the essence of Korean culture. I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes from their extensive menu!
Service was so amazing very kind servers and delicious food! Would HIGHLY recommend:)))
I’ve been craving a good doenjangjigae for a while and this place really hit the spot. Very flavorful!! I will be back to try the rest of the menu
best food ever so good and service was nice and fast 😎
late night, only couple there and they served us like royalty. food was spectacular and they never rushed us. late night fine food and nice environment. expect to pay for it ..
Best restaurant ever they are so good.
I always go for the bibimbap. Excellent service
It was such a relief for me. My son was raised with korean food. UC davis is 500 miles away from his home. It is such a soul food place for him. I hope your buseness being successful.
A little quiet, small spot good for going with friends. Had friendly conversation with the man in the back, I ordered the chicken teriyaki and split the popcorn chicken. Both were pretty good, at least when I went there the oil used for frying seemed rather fresh. The teriyaki was a tad bit crispy, which is how I like it. Also one of the few establishments in which I can find that offers Soju, and especially at a reasonable price, and various flavors of it. Overall, good place and a good experience.
Small quite korean bbq nice for a lowkey evening dinner. I had the bi bim bap. The seasoning and meat were so good. I also liked that i came with sides so i was pretty full. Delicious would go again.
Great experience everytime! Always feels like home when we visit Manna. Tasty food and awesome service. 10/10.
Great service, owner was super friendly, portions were sizable, and most of all food was really good.
fire korean food spot, the fried chicken is sleeper good! highly recommend, great service, portions, food!!
Delicious! Stir fried pork and kimchi was awesome, kimchi soup was very good, very clean and friendly environment! They also have outdoor seating where you can enjoy your meal with your fur babies!
I wanted to come to Davis for bulgogi and decided to give Mannas a try. It was delicious! There is plenty of parking around the corner on F street. The meal was hot and fresh and came with a bunch of small side dishes like kimchi, sprouts, pickled cucumber, fish cake, and potatoes. The bulgogi was tender and flavorful.
This food is wonderful and the lady serving us was amazing. She was incredibly interested in our questions, happy to help guide around food restrictions and offered tasty suggestions and refills on side dishes. I had the veggie bibimbap sans egg and with tofu added. It was too much for me to finish in one sitting.

Food is delicious and fresh, broth is very well made. Service is great and caring! We got free dumplings which were really nice!! Great music here for the atmosphere!! Incredibly satisfied
Side dishes are amazing and free. New owners are nice. Food is consistently good.

Had some excellent bimimbap that came with miso soup and several sides of pickled and prepared veggies like kimchi. Wish the rice was a bit more crunchy but maybe that's not very traditional. Waitress was friendly and attentive plus service was quick. Fair prices for amount of food served, had to ask for take home box.
Food was a bit lack luster and disappointing. Compared to LA it’s tough, but for what we got in Davis it is not bad. Owner was friendly and nice. The recommended dishes were pretty decent.
Delicious chicken teriyaki dinner on a sizzling hotplate with several side dishes to accent the dish. Love the interior of this restaurant, and the quiet peaceful atmosphere. The service was good, and my only gripe would be that they are a bit steep in terms of price.
The food was all really good. Kimchi pancake wasn’t my favorite though. Flavor and texture seemed off, I think they might add cheese? Idk but I wasn’t a fan. Everything else we got was delicious and so were the side dishes. We got there an hour before closing and the workers were very inattentive and I had to ask for the rice that came with my meal because they were chit chatting with each other and the cooks. I think the owner was on her way out when we arrived and there was definitely a change in the attention that was given. I don’t think the business should suffer at the hands of the night staff so I’ll give it a 4 stars.
I ordered a Bulgogi Bibimbap, and it was OK. I missed more personality in the Bibimbap, and even adding some sauce the flavor never came through strongly. Service was impeccable and the place is pleasant. Check it out, but probably it will not blow you away.
Amazing service. I don’t think I ordered the best thing for me because my food was okay but not amazing. I tried my partner’s food and it WAS amazing though. Gorgeous presentation of the food, and came with a nice selection of sides.
With meat price being so high now, $22-26 for a plate of meat is not bad for a Korean BBQ restaurant. I miss the days when you could spend the same amount of money but it’s all you can eat BBQ. The beef bolgugae is nice. The pork is a little tough and I wish I had ordered pork belly instead of pork. The side dishes are ok. Plenty of romaine lettuce to go along w the meat.

Server seemed rushed despite few customers. Food quality varied depending on the order. I had a favorite jampong restaurant while living in Busan. The noodles here were like spaghetti rather than guk-su. Dolsot bibimbap was good.
This restaurant is alright. I ordered the Cheese Tteokbokki and was severely underwhelmed. It’s an appetizer here and cost $18…yikes on that. When I took my first bite I immediately recognized from taste they put a Mexican blend cheese that you regularly get from the store on top of the meal. The staff was nice, but in my opinion you’re better off making food at home.
Average Korean restaurant. The food was not fantastic but not gross. Somewhere in the middle, I would say slightly below average. The service was good, average was well. I liked the atmosphere. Not my first choice for Korean food, but probably not my last. I think my mom cooks better, but she is pretty good so it’s hard to compete with her.
It's okay. Quaint little restaurant. Ordered the chicken yakisoba noodles, not as spicy as I had asked for. Someone else ordered the bibimbap dish and loved it. The steamed pot stickers that another person ordered liked the size. The sides of the pickled cucumber, potatoes, kimchi and thin slices of tofu were a hit.
Ordered beef ribs and slice bbq. Beef slice is too dry. Also ordered tofu soup with ham and cheese. Not bad.

We ordered seafood pancake for appetizer. It looked more like pizza and very little green onion and few pieces of cuttlefish fish only. We were very disappointed with overall food. If looking for authentic Korean food, this is not it.
I really want to like this place, and being in Davis for years it was somewhere I could get yukgaejang, tteokbokki, and tasty mackerel. However, I wanted to try their seolleongtang and upon opening the dish (pick up order), for the price ($16.50!), it was incredibly disappointing. The broth was not flavorful, there was only a pinch of green onion for topping, and 2 thin slices of meat. I cannot recommend this dish to anyone. The staff is friendly and some of their other dishes are tasty comforts, but do not order this from them. I don't think I can go back after this experience. Positives: banchan nice, other dishes have been good
Very bad value. The food is exceptionally bland and costs around $20 per dish. Go elsewhere for Korean cuisine.
A few years ago, when I was staying in the area, I used to go to this restaurant. However, I never received a Birthday discount. I even showed my ID to prove that the day I went was actually my birthday. The lady scolded me and said that if she allowed that, then she had to provide a birthday discount to every customer. She's only interested in making money.
92 bucks for two servings of meet. NOT ALL YOU CAN EAT. Giant rip off. Had to go to McDonald's afterwards. Not enough food. Payed 92$
I’ve given this long-standing Davis Korean BBQ place a couple of tries, hoping for better — but it’s consistently underwhelming. The vibes are friendly and the owner is lovely, but the food is bland, clearly toned down for non-Korean tastes. For the high price, you’d expect bold, authentic flavors… There are far better, more authentic options in Sacramento. Disappointing, especially since I really wanted to love it.
Abysmal service. Server did not speak English, completely ignored me to my Spanish speaking acquaintance. Left the bill on other side of table for my acquaintance and only looked and interacted with him. I was ordering and paying and had to reach across the table and vy for attention. Ridiculous
Pretty sad example of Korean food (or any food for that matter). Low on flavor, woefully small amount of the meaningful ingredients (seafood, tofu, veges) offset by noodles or rice. Side dishes underwhelming. Look elsewhere in this town full of better restaurants.
When the owners are here, you get decent service. When the girls work here Note to the ower * check the time and date of this review and see who was working *** the girl was super rude, never came by once to refill water / drinks, had an attitude when taking the order, the food is nothing special but I use to come here because the owners are super nice and wanted to support a small business, but if I ever come back and same people are taking orders I will leave, they need to work on their human skills. You're running a resturant, have some manners, be professional, be proud of what you do. It's very unfortunate but hopefully the owners can see this and train their employees so they're successful.
I usually don’t write reviews, but I felt compelled to warn others about my experience at Manna Restaurant. For $150, I expected a generous, satisfying meal—but what I got was shockingly small portions that left me hungry and disappointed. To add insult to injury, one of the chopsticks was just an empty sleeve with no actual chopstick inside. This kind of careless oversight is unacceptable, especially at such a high price point. Definitely not worth it—save your money and go elsewhere.
we ordered take out, got tofu bibimbap, but it was completely and utterly flavorless and they didnt even include any sauce, no spicy sauce like normal places include, like gochujang so it was basically just bland veggies and tofu.
At the first I thought a glass was cooked in the seafood pancake, then I realized it is probably a broken clam shell, but still sharp and dangerous. Glad I didn’t swallow up. Paid 127 dollars with 18% tips for the pancake, bbq meats, kimchi fried rice, bibimbap. I ordered at the place and the shell piece was found when I was finishing leftovers. Everyone should be careful when you eat here.

I had come to pick up a DoorDash order from this restaurant, and a lady there treated me very poorly, speaking to me with a lot of attitude. She said that the order wasn’t ready yet and that I should wait, or else leave, because someone else would pick it up. It’s like, if you have that much attitude, then why do you even accept orders from DoorDash or Hungry Panda? It doesn’t mean that just because we work in food delivery, you can mistreat us or speak to us with attitude. We are workers too, and you are a worker as well, so please keep your behavior respectful. If the order is ready, then give it to us, and if it’s not ready, then let us know. And who are you to speak to us with attitude? Please stay within your limits and do your job, and let us do ours as well.
