We had an incredible meal at tasca les monges tonight. Ordered the Pescadito Frito de la longja, and the Paella Valenciana (of course) and the ensalada de temporada and it was all amazing. Highly reccomend this to anyone looking for delicious food with a great ambiance to the location. The staff was also lovely.

We visited this restaurant last year and, finding ourselves in the area again we returned and very happy that we did. We got the lunch menu with wine. The set starters are varied, tasty and fresh. The bread came out warm, the chicken salad was really well dressed and the calamari was beautiful. The mains were different and delicious. The cod was very good. We look forward to visiting again

Really delicious meal at this restaurant. Best Potatas Bravas we’ve had since Seville and delicious vegetable paella. Couldn’t resist the tiramisu which was also delicious. Our waiter was great too. Loved the restaurant and highly recommend.

Stopped here for lunch, had the menu of the day, which included 4 starters, a main of choice and a desert, for only 18€pp. Food was excellent, service was fantastic too. Nice touch with a complentmany digestif offered at the end of meal. Will 100% return when in the area again.

Superb choice of Tapas in unique surroundings. The air conditioning inside the restaurant was a welcome relief on a hot evening in August. Lots of space and character. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

Fabulous restaurant in heart of Denia. Very central to our hotel. We ate hearty tapas food ....... Calamari, meat balls and seared tuna was wonderful bit it was too much food for us to be honest. We had several glasses of Rojas as well. The Staff were so accommodating helping us out with the language barrier. They actually spoke really good English. 3 course set meal was 15 euros. Good covid measures in place. Denia is definitely worth a visit. Plentiful shops as well.

Another trip to Denia meant another trip to “The Two Nuns”. Food as always was up to scratch, with us unable to fault any dish, especially at the price. Keep up the good work…

A comfortable & relaxed atmosphere and restaurant with tables indoors and outside. The restaurant offers a good selection of wines to complement the extensive menu of tapas and meals.

Pedimos unas croquetas de jamón (muy cremosas, con mucho sabor a jamón), unos chopitos (el rebozado muy bueno y muy limpios), una hamburguesa y un solomillo con salsa roquefort (ambos bastante buenos) y de postre una tarta de queso (hecha al horno y con un helado de frutos rojos riquísimo). La calidad de la comida fue bastante buena, aunque el servicio un poco lento. Un buen detalle fue que al final de la comida nos invitaron a moscatell. Como recomendación, sale más a cuenta pedir menú del día que a la carta ya que en el menú las raciones son bastante grandes y tiene buen precio. El ambiente era tranquilo y acogedor.

Hemos comido el menú del medio día que son 17€ por persona y entran 4 entrantes y un segundo a compartir, en este caso paella. La comida estaba bastante buena y no ha sido para nada escasa (la foto de los chopitos la hice después de comernos la mitad), nos ha sobrado paella y nos la han puesto para llevar. El local no estaba lleno y se estaba bastante bien (lo normal en septiembre). Seguramente repetiremos. El servicio no ha sido malo, pero sí un poco dejado.

Estuve en Tasca Les Monges en Dénia y la experiencia fue de diez. La comida estaba sabrosa, deliciosa y bien presentada, con platos que invitan a repetir. El servicio fue rápido, atento y muy agradable.

La comida normal, correcta. La atención y amabilidad del personalha sido excelente.

Cuando entramos, el mozo estaba algo agobiado porque había mucha gente. Eso hizo que nos atendieran rápido. En el transcurso de nuestra comida, nos atendieron compañeros más amables. El fideuá con bogavante y la paella de marisco las dos muy recomendables. El ambiente del lugar y su ubicación son buenos. Y la higiene de este aún más. Lo recomiendo.

Tasca Les Monges es el lugar perfecto para disfrutar de la auténtica cocina mediterránea. Sus platos están llenos de sabor, con ingredientes frescos y bien elaborados. Recomiendo especialmente sus arroces y tapas, ¡son una delicia! El ambiente es acogedor y el personal muy atento, siempre asegurándose de que la experiencia sea excelente.

All 'round lovely experience. The staff all spoke only Spanish in what is a rather touristy location - this was a massive plus! I had the fried fresh fish, patatas bravas, and chocolate sponge cake for dessert. Service was very efficient and friendly and the food was fantastic. Possibly only negative was that I've had patatas better cooked elsewhere - but this is me being rather pedantic.

Nice place, friendly staff. We had tapas and one of the dishes was the squid which was overcooked. Apart from that, decent prices and service. Everything was clean. We were fortunate to witness the passing of a concession as a part of a festival as the restaurant is right on the main street. We also got a home made apperatif for free at the end of the meal which was a sweet alcoholic beverage. Overall very nice, authentic Spanish tapas experience.

Lovely food. We had the shrimps in Garlic/ Garlic Mushrooms followed by Secret pork and pork Sirloin. All dishes were very tasty. Excellent service too!

Nos recibieron sin reserva, llenos. Se entiende la tardanza a la hora de tomar nota. Pero nos sirvieron la ensalada antes que la bebida y el pan, al comentarlo con la camarera sólo nos dejo el plato y se retiró (altiva). Entendemos el estrés que supone dar un servicio en verano y más en pleno Agosto, pero no eran las formas. El arroz a banda estaba algo pasado y con un punto más de sal. Solomillo de cerdo… seco, llevaba salsa entonces podía salvarlo. tabla de embutidos y queso , junto con calamar a la andaluza. Exquisito tiramisú Casero y el flan de almendras

Conozco el sitio de hace tiempo y ha cambiado bastante. Ana es la única que vale la pena. Llegamos a las 15:00 a comer y la chica latina de pelo rizado directamente nos dijo, ya no hay cocina, solo tapas. Nos quedamos muy paradas y dijimos aún así vale, puede ser fuera? Y ella NO, sin ni siquiera mirar, lo cual yo ya había visto q dos mesas estaban ya pagando... El camarero que nos atendió nos sienta muy amablemente fuera y nos dice de menú que vais a querer? Sorprendido de su misma compañera cuando le dijimos , Porque era hasta las 15:30. En fin todo muy rico salvo el arroz que estaba insípido.

Posiblemente la paella mas normalita que he comido nunca. Disponen de un menú del día con pan y allioli, ensalada, dos entrantes y plato de arroz a elegir por 21€. Carta de vinos bastante amplia y ambiente agradable.

We stopped there twice. Service wasn’t great to be fair, we were present while the front of house staff were having an argument and shouting at each other. It’s unpleasant to be having a cool dinner and your waiter fighting against someone else. In terms of food, not a bad place but nothing special. I’d recommend you to go right next to Miguel Juan if you want a proper meal, trust me. Carpaccio wasn’t too bad but found other better. Padrón peppers are tasteless although perhaps my standards are too high as I was born a few miles away from Padrón. Grilled vegetables tasteless too, you need a great side dressing to make a grilled onion tasty.

Fuimos al leer buenas reseñas, esperábamos un bar más de gente local que de veraneantes pero no, era uno más enfocado a los no locales Carta extensa y con menú a 18€ sin bebida. Nosotros pedimos tres raciones. Ensaladilla, la cual nos pareció de bote,no nos gustó, albóndigas, que la carne en sí estaba buena, pero la salsa de tomate poca y muy seca, parecían recalentadas sin control en el microondas, una sarten de huevos, patatas jamón, cebolla y pimientos - patatas de la madre suoeriora- que sin mas, y por último pedimos pan con ajoaceite y el pan seco y malisimo, cortado en rodajas hace varias horas lo que hace que estuviera seco. Cabe destacar que la cantidad de todo estaba entre escaso y poco. A favor, decir que el personal muy agradable, atento y muy rápido.

¡Cuestión de suerte! Nunca nos había pasado antes pero, reservamos para una celebración 🎂. Menú variado que ofrecía entrantes, principal, y postre por un precio muy adecuado. Empezaron a salir las entradas, y todas (salvo la ensalada porque el aliño lo hace el cliente al gusto), sin sal. Calamares sin sal...ali oli, sin sal...una de las paellas, insípida y con falta de ingredientes. Cuatro de los principales, solomillo con salsa de pimienta incomible, debió caer el bote de la pimienta íntegro en la salsa. No se podía comer, y me pregunto...no prueban las salsas en cocina? Se llevaron los platos y nos los traen de nuevo, sin ningún tipo de salsa, ni siquiera disculparse y ofrecer otra salsa...que mínimo. Pues nada, el solomillo a palo seco con su patatita y verdura. Y ya el colofón, y el motivo de mi puntuación...llegan los postres. Y nos dicen que no les queda ni un solo postre para ofrecernos. Que si queremos helado...en diciembre?! Increíble pero cierto. No sé que ocurrió ese día en cocina pero la actuación y la respuesta, no fue nada acertada. No puedes ofrecer menús si te faltan los productos. Y mucho menos cobrarlo íntegro sin haber podido degustarlo.Con una reservas de 15 días de antelación. Estas cosas pueden ocurrir, por supuesto. Para muestra un botón, pero hay que estar a la altura y saber gestionarlo con el cliente. En conclusión, ni lo recomendaría ni volveré.

This was a terrible restaurant experience! Upon arrival the waitress looked at her watch when there was still an hour of service left. We couldnt get any of the staff's attention as they were too busy talking among themselves in front of the bar. When they finally brought our meal it was thrown in front of us and when the blonde curly haired waitress cleared the table she banged the plates together with aggression. This young woman should not be a serving the public. To top it off when we said to our waiter that we didn't want a dessert he told his coworker her response was "good" (she could not wait to get rid of us). Such a shame because the food was actually quite nice. If your looking for a restaurant with friendly and professional service do not go here. WE WILL NOT BE BACK!
