McDonald's

First I would like to say I have been in to this McDonald's as a Doordash Driver and as a customer. This crew day or night has there store running like a well oiled machine. Even when there is a problem they stay calm and handle everything very professionally. I have been In their drive up many times 2 full rows of cars. I have never been in line more than 5 minutes. All other McDonald's should learn from this Wonderful Crew.

I go here every Wednesday morning right around when it opens. They are so nice and they never mess up my order. Very efficient and fast as well. Definitely one of the best McDonald’s I’ve been to.

I took my two grandkids here today. The staff was very friendly, the food was fresh, and the place was very clean. The kids split a hamburger and fries and each had a milk. They played in the kids play area for a half hour. Now they are napping.

The food is almost always hot and freshly made. It is a nice spot to hang out of your not being to loud. The workers are respectful and polite, and they try to keep tables clean as for the restrooms.

Dixon McDonald's is our favorite location to go to when I'm the mood for it. Mainly because they always make your food to order. Especially the fries. I've gone to the others in Rock Falls and Sterling and it never fails the fries aren't fresh.

We were very pleased with our food. Kept us pleasantly awake the rest of our trip. Only complaint is they forgot a sweet and sour sauce. We shared one.

Got my food done perfectly. Had to wait a few minutes for the apple pie. No problem pulled around front. Great service. Special order done perfectly. Definitely stop in here again.

This was the cleanest McDonald's I've ever been in. It was an unusual experience as the franchise owner was helping out behind the counter. This was by far the most positive McDonald's experience I've ever had! Well done everyone!

Love this McDonald's. Friendly staff, quick service, special are orders right the first time. Clean inside and out, follow safe food handlers guidelines. Kids playground available and fun for the kids. Drive thru is the fastest in town. Usually a decent wait time but maybe slower if busier times. High school kids are around during school year at lunch time. Seniors meet for coffee, breakfast and talk time during the morning hours. Drive thru Open 24 hours, but lobby is not.

There isn't a lot that I can eat at McDonald's but I did remember that they have a delicious berry yogurt on my last trip through to get an iced tea. This was at the Dixon store and I've never had any problems there.

This is a well staffed and friendly McD. My order was simple tea and pie but they got the order right at the drive thru. I went inside and it was clean even though some minor construction was going plz. Sorry folks nature called.

Love this McDonald's. It's a very busy place. My food is always hot and correct. Drive thru can be a little slow when busy. Mornings have lot senior citizens enjoying breakfast. The high school is near lunch time is always busy. Playland is always clean but loud. The staff are friendly but I've had problems once in a while here but everyone has bad days especially when working with the public. But that doesn't stop me from coming back.

I don't know why but our Oregon McDonald's is very accommodating. I've stopped going to the McDonald's in Byron because most of the time they're not even carrying the same specials that Oregon carries nor do they make a decent cup of coffee which organ is out of this world coffee. Being Pleasant doesn't cost McDonald's anything and they sure could use a truckload of pleasant in Byron.

So this visit had to do soley about the upbeat patuent and helpful class of workers this restaurant has.... we pull through the drive thru and place our order, we get to the window to pay for our food and my buddy hands the lady his link card. I totally figured this lady would come unglued and flip her lid but with a smile she graciously took the card and ran it only to be declined. .. she was very friendly and a great sport. So we paid for o ur food and went about our way ..... the food was fresh ,tasty and looked like it would in a comersial. Nice job yall.

The employees, of the Dixon IL McDonald's, greeted me with a smile. If only the "Karen" at Ken Nelson Nissan I dealt with earlier today was as friendly.

Took the family for dinner the other night, and the kids had fun as usual. This one is usually always kept well cleaned, and service is pretty good overall.

We stopped here on a 13 hour road trip with the kids because they have a play place, and we will definitely be making it a regular road trip stop, even though it’s a few miles off the highway. Everything was super clean and all employees seemed to care and be engaged in their jobs. Team was very accommodating and got my special order food perfectly. It was such a great experience. First time I’ve ever reviewed a fast food restaurant; It was that great!

To me this is one of the best McDonalds. Always consistent, I don’t think I’ve ever had a mess up on and order or items missing. Coffee always tastes good too… some McDonald’s have a weird taste to their water or chemical coffee taste, but this one is good.

Ben spangler was a great employee his looks made the food 100 times better give this man a raise he needs it 10/10 I'm coming back just cause of him.

We went after a sporting event with a very large crowd. Every employee was so welcoming unlike Wendy’s where we stood at counter for 5 minutes and the employees ignored us! Mcds food was so hot and fresh and the manager was checking in on us in the dining room asking if we needed anything and the sweet girl who delivered our trays was great! Thank you for a great late dinner!!

I was really looking forward to trying the Chicken Big Mac. It definitely didn't disappoint. Jordyn took my order. I asked for my sandwich to be made pretty just like the picture. She made it happen!! The chicken patties are juicy and tender. The sandwich comes with lettuce, pickles and Big Mac sauce on a sesame seed bun. I do have to say that it's a messy sandwich to eat. But totally worth it!! Just grab extra napkins. I ordered a large French fry with no salt. They came out fresh and delicious!! I highly recommend trying it at least once. You won't be disappointed!! 😋

This McDonald's is great they have plenty of employees. Most of them are very happy to be there in a friendly as a nice family environment the foods usually always right on point.!

I was starving. I looked an awful mess. How could I stop inside a restaurant after a sleep study? I stopped at McDonald's and got pancakes and bacon well done. Orange juice too. Staff was friendly, order was correct, food was delicious. I usually never go there because it's not the same as per past visits. When it's right I say so!

Drive thru was pretty fast. I was surprised because the line was long. My quarter pounder 🍔 was very well cooked. Hot fries!! 🍟 and the apple pie was hot too! 🍎 Very good experience! 🙂

We both got filet of fish sandwiches. It would be nice if when we opened the box, the sandwich was stacked and looked like the picture. Instead they always look like a spread out deck of cards.

Lately I have enjoyed the service in the mornings. Lunchtime was also very helpful when I asked them how to use points from the app. Hope they keep up the good work.

Didn't have to wait long to order at the drive-thru. I've cream cone was huge & I was given extra napkins as it was a warm day. Diet Coke was cold, but not overfilled with ice. Cinnamon roll was big & enjoyed at home days later!

Errr, this has to be one of the busiest McDonald's I've ever seen 😳. The two lines for the drive-thru were blocking the normal traffic to get into and out of the parking lot (honorable mention to their huge parking lot) Unlike most other McDonald's, I received my large French fries hot and the box was full!! Good job everyone. On a lower note- They are still using those dreadful lids for the large cups 🥤, you know, the one where they tried to stop ✋️ handing out straws!!!

Its convenient for the area. Very fast with curbside pickup. They haven't been 24 hours for a while yet they won't update their hours on google. That's my only complaint, once they update this I will happily change my review to a 5

Stopped after a softball double header. They greeted us and seemed glad to see our group (other places tend to roll their eyes when you come in with a group of 15). No indoor dinning, but the staff was awesome and food was good. Team/group like ours they told us that the head coaches meal is "on them" which was a very nice gesture.

Its okay for a McDonalds a lot of kids work there not the most professional McDonalds, the food was okay.

Need to remember napkins when going through the drive thru!! Nothing like getting down the road and having nothing for your hands and face.

Used the mobile ordering. Gave code through the drive. Was quick and easy. My Big Mac had too much Mac sauce, but it happens sometimes.

Always very busy, the parking lot is tight and heavy traffic. The play area needs more attention. The last two times I've taken my daughter there, IV either had to clean a table off myself or find staff to clean a place to be able to sit. Even tho there were not many people in the play area.

The McDonald's in Dixon is just a normal regular McDonald's nothing too spectacular it does have a bigger parking lot as a personal note that's a lot better than what we have in Galesburg

It was fine. Met some friends I have not seen in a long time and it was nice to see them. I ordered the breakfast burrito and really enjoyed it.

Service has changed. Took long in the drive through. Service not very friendly. Order was made wrong. The girl handed me a coffee, then a minute later asked if the decaf was pushed in. Then asked if I drank any, then took it back and handed me the regular coffee. I'm not positive, but once something is handed out and put into a car, it shouldn't be taken back to hand out to the correct customer. I have been getting my orders made wrong the last 5 visits.

Food was fine. Bathrooms were kinda gross and smelled like pee.

I did a curbside order and it was very promptly delivered to my car but everything was cold. The fries were not good at all and I love McDonald's fries.

Staff is not rude...but not friendly. .almost like your not even acknowledged...fries are always cold ..I'm sure they are hot for some people....but every time we go...they are luke warm.

April 19, 11am. First after circling parking lot after 30 minutes finally found a spot in a very unusual drive/parking lot. Flow of traffic could be improved. Next too many Indians inside and not enough chiefs? And ice tea is not by soda machine? All other McDonald's I have been to have the tea where the customer can help themselves. Now, my salad was excellent but too many distractions just to get to that point. Wow, now I am worn out!!

Just once this year I'd like all my food without having to come back for it while my other food gets cold. No complaints big enough on this matter...however, super clean establishment in Dixon...

too much salt on the burger patties every single time ..... unless i order no salt when i was a kid working at mcdonalds we had to salt the patties but not to where salt was all you taste I hope they fix this since its the only McDonald's in town i recommend Oregon McDonald's they do well

Im not a big fan mostly because i end up not feeling good everytime ive ate at a mcdonalds. I do like the kid play area. If i go its usually a yogurt parfait or cookie. Those items are always good.

Could work on customer service. Yesterday I ordered two lg caramel macchiato with extra espresso. When I got home only one had the flavor put in it. Not a huge problem since I had some coffee creamer at home. Then today I went through the drive thru and ordered the same drinks. I told the girl at the window about my drinks from the day before and asked to make sure my drinks had the flavor this time. She told me she wasn’t in control of what happens in the coffee section and that she hopes they put it in. This is BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had to tell her to tell them to make sure they put it in. She proceeds to roll her eyes and shut the window. My drinks came with flavor thankfully. But customer service needs to be worked on.

They wouldn't take a $100, and then blamed it on the fact that they have 14 years old working there. It's ridiculous that cash isn't accepted, regardless of the $$, especially from a multi-billion dollar company.

If this McDonald’s could ever get an order completely right they would be great, but the fact that your order is wrong if you go through the drive-thru or order through door dash is ridiculous. I’ve been missing straws, the correct sauce, the correct amount of sauce, toy and apple slices missing from the happy meal, food missing, I could go on and on Customer service in the drive-thru is always friendly that’s the best thing about this place

I ordered a steak egg and cheese McMuffin and got a folded egg... I asked for two mocha frappes in the manager turn around and stuck her finger up in the air and said listen here if you want this other one you're going to have to take Carmel.... Neither one of the managers we're very greeting in nice to be around... It doesn't matter how stressed out you are you don't yell at a customer... Dixon McDonald's is falling apart .. they have no respect nor do you guys know how to talk to people .. EVER SINCE PAT LEFT YALL WENT DOWN HILL ... START TREATING PEOPLE BETTER

Went to this McDonald's off the highway due to relatively high rating. The food was pretty good, but the inside was gross. Bathroom smelled like it hadn't been cleaned in a while and didn't have a changing table for kids in men's room.

Spent 25 minutes in line, soda machine wasn't working and then got pulled forward for my order. Not fast today.

I have tried to give this location a fair shake by trying multiple times to order and give them a opportunity to succeed. Unfortunately this location is consistently under performing. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is well maintained and clean. Their short comings are in correctly completing orders. My orders are consistently incorrect, cold food, missing items, food prepared incorrectly per order. Eight out of ten times it has been a failure on Dixon McDonalds part. Be sure to double check your order if you curbside order, drive through, or take it to go.

I use the app for mobile orders at this location frequently, I don't think I've ever gotten a single order 100% correct. My last order was 2 bacon quarter pounders with extra bacon, and didn't get the extra bacon on either one. Normally I'd feel petty about complaining about something that small, but it's $1.99 each for extra bacon. That's $4 on one order that I paid for and didn't get.

Went to Wendy's first. Took forever to get waited on. Left there to go to McDonald's and the girl there waiting on us acted like her dog just died! Coudn't look at us and was obviously not happy being there. Is there No training for these people who are waiting on customers? Sad to say NO smile No respect at these places.

They are trash!!!! Can't get an order right for the life of them!!!! Pay attention to what your doing. I am a paying customer and never get what I pay for. I have a coupon coming in the mail for my order you messed up yesterday and then you mess up my order again today.

6th time my order has been messed up. Really getting tired of them messing simple things up. Really don’t feel like the employees fully listen to people when, they ask for certain things not on the food. Honest opinion about them is just “oh well” sterling’s and oregon’s McDonald’s are way better.

Lobby was closed for the day. So we went through the drive thru with a mobile order for a lg half-cut tea and a lg sprite. The girl then proceeded to add an extra "unsweetened" iced tea to my order even though we said nothing to add. Thought she would take it off at the first window and didn't then got to the second window and got 2 lg SWEET teas and a lg sprite. Very disappointed this isn't what I ordered!

Cashier was a teenager who would not hardly speak, and made no eye contact. It made me feel like an intruder instead of a paying customer. Otherwise food and service were okay.

Was on my way to work. Don't usually eat McDonald's but I wanted to try those chicken tenders they have. Ordered at the drive through and was asked to pull forward in line.. after 15 min of waiting and watching them hand others their food and needing to get to work I got out and went in... when they saw me the manager said "oh do you have the chicken tender order." He said they were making it fresh right then so I had to wait another five minutes. Their fresh tenders tasted like cardboard but maybe that's because I had to eat it 5 hours later on my break. I would like to leave another review today(11-12-23). I used to have no problem here. Lately service is slow and accuracy of orders have gone downhill. Today I went inside because drive thru was long. I ordered two breakfast sandwiches and waited forever to get it. I finally handed a guy my receipt and asked him to check on it. He came back right away with it and said sorry about that without even making eye contact with me. When I got home my food was cold and the steak, egg and cheese bagel that I ordered was wrong. I now had a bacon, egg and cheese bagel, with only 3/4 slice of bacon on it. I just get the feeling nobody cares of late.

It seems that every time I set foot in this McDonalds there is someone in the back arguing and using racial and homophobic slurs. I'm not sure why the managers/owners don't do anything about this but it is extremely unsettling that not a single person in management seems to care that their employees throw bigoted epithets at eachother. However I don't really expect much from management considering on one occasion that stays in my mind, the management seemed to be laughing at the use of slurs. I feel for the employees, because they constantly look on edge and I've even seen them cry after being yelled at by management. This establishment needs better/new management. It seems very very toxic.

Fast food costs more than full service diners, and you don't even get fresh food. I have lots i could say about management, but I'm sure anyone who has worked in foodservice knows exactly the personalities of low-status management. In the year I've been in town, I've tried to hang out a bit to use Wi-Fi, but I can't cope after maybe 15 minutes because of the overwhelming noise and bright overhead lights. #autism

After waiting in a line of 6 cars deep with 2 lanes open 11 cars later I get the wrong food and shorted also. No ty at the windows just shoved a bag to keep moving. I see a employee in the parking lot taking food to a car and tell him my foods wrong. He shrugs it off and says you have to go inside.

The past 2 weeks I was there twice. The first time they didn't give us our full order, I said something to the gal the next time and she said it was all there.... nope, but mot worth driving back across town either. Don't expect a shake if you go after 8 pm.

went through twice today. first time they forgot both of our fries. called them, offered value meals. okay, cool. just went through for some nuggets and drinks bc we weren't home. ordered a diet coke, as I'm diabetic. not only did they get our orders wrong TWICE in one day, they gave a diabetic a regular coke instead of a diet!!! They could've cost me a hospital trip with a 600 blood sugar. I get being busy, but this is a mistake you CANNOT afford to make. nor can they fix it since they won't answer their phones.

I just want all of my items to be in the bag, man! When I got home after receiving my order, I realized that an item was missing. Not only that, the medium fries were halfway filled! And just as a little cherry on top, the sprite tastes gross. For some reason, the past couple of times I've gone to this location to make an order, the sprite ends up tasting like well water with a splash of fizziness. Very disappointed, all I ask is consistency.

These kids and management don't care about your orders. They can't read, listen, or count. No wonder they work at this location, Doing complaints to corporate doesn't solve anything. Simple orders always messed up at this location. Management can't manage anything while they are on duty. They typically have fix orders mainly when Jesse is managing these kids who can't do a simple job. Maybe it's time to fire everyone, including management and the new owners who let this circus happen daily.

Every time I come to this McDonald's since Nancy & Chuck retired , service sucks. I either get wrong food or missing items or how about sitting in the drive thru and watch 3 /4 people get ordered in the next lane before you. Then get home and have half of medium fries and they are cold.

Admittedly, fast food lost its appeal to me shortly after I started driving, but, the Dixon McDonald's is always a hit and miss. I have yet to get fries from here that weren't undercooked, overcooked, or so salty that they are unpalatable. The Big Macs usually have wilted lettuce, and enough sauce on them to drown a horse. It just isn't worth spending $9 to $12 dollars on a meal that is inevitably unsatisfying. There are healthier, cheaper, and better quality restaurants in Dixon. You should do yourself a favor. Go there and AVOID McDonald's.

Out of about 100 cups of coffee, they still font know how to count to 10 creams and 10 sugars. I often have to get it on the side to avoid the aggravation and do it myself which is s huge pain becausen 100% of the time im driving and trying to operandi duo them in and to top it off most of the managers have severe attitudes...??

Every garbage inside overflowing, garbage and fries on floors, empty cups left on tables, no ketchup and lids at stations. Dirty tables. Asked manager on duty for assistance and completely ignored. In playland with kids for over 1 hour and not once did I see anyone cleaning or restocking. I'm come here with kids 2 times a week and it seems like cleanliness is lacking for sometime

Ordered 3 double cheeseburgers at 12:30 for my family and I to have a small snack while driving to in-laws for Mother's Day. Normal lunch-time amount of cars, nothing too crazy. Got our food and each of our buns was stale. Slightly stiff and just not good at all. On top of that, each of our burgers had a squirt of ketchup on top and bottom of the buns. Not leaked out, but literally squirted on top and squirted on bottom. If you hate your job, quit, don't take it out on customers that paid for food. The drive-thru lady on speaker was nice. The person at both windows were nice. It was just a "cook" that was having a bad day. Thankfully they put a bunch of napkins in he bag as there was ketchup EVERYWHERE. I cannot accurately describe how much ketchup was covering every inch of the bun. Glad I don't live in Dixon and it's not my typical McDonald's stop.
