Ho cenato più volte in questo eccellente ristorante. Le portate sono tutte ottime, dagli antipasti ai dolci, i piatti sono tutti buonissimi....assolutamente da provare i panciotti ripieno di capesantete e gamberi, la materia prima usata è di prima qualità e il servizio impeccabile .... .il personale gentile attento e cordiale con gli ospiti. Servizio eccellente, per non parlare del risotto al pesce persico(una favola!!!)Una delizia per il palato. Ho portato un'amica che ha apprezzato appieno l'esperienza del pesce di lago, a partire dall'antipasto con il lavarello in carpione. Il signor Vincenzo e Simona ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa. Veramente consigliatissimo e sicuramente ci torneremo per assaggiare anche gli altri piatti del menù.
Per concludere la nostra villeggiatura a Domaso abbiamo deciso di cenare a La Contrada, osteria che offre pietanze tipiche del Lago di Como e situata nel centro storico del paese. Abbiamo mangiato la Delizia di agoni del nostro lago in carpione come antipasto, mentre i Raviolotti di polenta e Montasio DOP ai funghi porcini e gli Agnolotti di pesce persico allo zafferano come primi. La maggior parte dei piatti presenti nel menù proponevano alimenti tipici della zona, incastonata tra il Lago di Como e le Alpi. I piatti da noi selezionati erano eccellenti (10), in particolare i primi, riccamente farciti e curati nel sapore e nella presentazione. Una vera e propria esplosione di gusto. Le porzioni erano giuste, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Peccato per i dolci proposti, che erano praticamente tutti surgelati e non hanno attirato i nostri palati. Il servizio è stato attento, soprattutto da parte della signora e dello chef, che si sono interessati sull’andamento della cena e sul gradimento dei piatti. Abbiamo cenato nel vicoletto, il che era molto romantico e suggestivo. Unica pecca il comfort, dato lo spazio limitato tra i diversi tavoli. Complessivamente è stata un’ottima cena e consigliamo vivamente i piatti da noi selezionati, consigliati anche dallo chef in persona.
Eccezionale! Tutto davvero squisito, dall’antipasto al dolce. In particolare abbiamo apprezzato molto il risotto acquerello al pesce persico, delicato e gustosissimo. Le porzioni, in particolare dei primi, sono abbondanti tanto che abbiamo chiesto di portare via il risotto avanzato - pratica incoraggiata dal ristorante che lo scrive anche nel menù. Location caratteristica in una vecchia palazzina del centro storico ristrutturata in modo rustico e tradizionale, personale gentile e lo chef che passa a salutare ogni tavolo e presentare i piatti è veramente un tocco di classe. Il conto è onesto: per due antipasti, due risotti, un dessert e due acque abbiamo speso 64 euro. Non un semplice posto per turisti come quasi tutti gli altri locali di Domaso, se siete in zona la visita è obbligatoria!
Abbiamo cenato ieri sera, piccola trattoria sita nel centro storico di Domaso, cucina ottima e curata ambiente pulito e servizio cordiale anche lo chef fa la sua visita in sala per vedere se tutto procede bene e se i piatti da lui preparati siano piaciuti, bravi ottimo. I piatti serviti si presentavano bene e ben curati buono il gusto e la cottura ben fatta un bel 10 allo chef.
Non è un semplice ristorante, è una vera e propria storia che viene raccontata da Enzo tra una portata e l’altra. Menù semplice ma delizioso, ogni piatto viene preparato al momento seguendo tempi di cottura e preparazioni della tradizione. Enzo mi rivolgo a te, la tua presenza in sala è magnifica, ti ringraziamo davvero della splendida serata. Ps. La contrada sarà difficile da trovare, nel centro storico di Domaso, ma fidatevi che troverete un vero tesoro.
Piacevole scoperta nel cuore di Domaso, il locale è ben tenuto ma con pochi posti (prenotazione d’obbligo!). Il proprietario è gentilissimo e molto preparato: gira tra i tavoli a spiegare le particolarità dei piatti proposti. Agoni buonissimi come antipasto e risotto al pesce persico eccellente. Ampia selezione di vini, con possibilità di ordinare quello della casa.

Un’ottima cena immersi nel centro storico.. Ottima la qualità del cibo, si gustano prodotti tipici in un’atmosfera familiare ed accogliente ad un prezzo giusto! Una nota di merito per il personale che ci ha spiegato i piatti e servito con molta educazione e gentilezza e per lo chef che è passato da tutti i tavoli !
Sono stato con la mia compagna durante un weekend sul lago di Como. Locale intimo e molto molto carino. Lo staff é di una cortesia estrema. Ho preso un piatto di panciotti ripieno di capesante e gamberi, abbondanti e molto buoni. Lo chef gira per i tavoli spiegando i piatti che si gustano. Nel raccontare si coglie il fatto che fa il suo lavoro con tanta passione. Il conto non fu più giusto.Consiglio, anzi consigliatissimo.

L'osteria si trova proprio accanto all'antico Palazzo Venini in un vicoletto (contrada) di Domaso. This cozy restaurant is lovingly run by an old master of the art of cooking. The dishes are authentic, everything is freshly prepared, the fish comes from the lake and it tastes exceptionally good. The ambiance is breathtaking inside and out. The osteria is right next to the old Palazzo Venini in a small alley (contrada) in Domaso.

Andare a mangiare all'osteria la contrada è stata una scelta più che azzeccata! Posto bellissimo e caratteristico, piatti abbondanti e molto gustosi e personale veramente gentile. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente se saremo di nuovo in zona!

Ristorantino ubicato tra le viette di Domaso. Tutto ottimo, in particolare ravioli di polenta e funghi spaziali. Buone anche le orecchiette al sugo di salsiccia piccante. Lo Staff è giovane e attento. Il cuoco è passato tra i tavoli per chiedere se i piatti fossero di nostro gradimento. Consigliato!

Sono andato con mia moglie per un week end sul lago, e passando davanti a questo locale abbiamo subito prenotato per la sera dopo.. ha una cantina con vini della valtellina, anche di alto livello. Ho mangiato le lasagne e le costolette davvero saporite. Lo chef passa per i tavoli per controllare che vada tutto bene e il personale è molto gentile e sorridente. Ci tornerò alla prossima vacanza..

Ottima osteria con piatti tipici del territorio e non solo. Il personale è gentile ed attento, il locale è caratteristico ed accogliente. Lo stesso chef ci ha servito il risotto al pesce persico e ci ha spiegato la tipologia del riso usato. È un piatto a cui tiene molto ed è veramente eccellente. Abbiamo gustato anche un buonissimo antipasto "Delizie di lago e di mare". Ci ritornerò senz'altro. Consigliato!!!
Mi sono recata in questo ristorante in base delle ottime recensioni lette e non sono state da meno.. posto delizioso, stile rustico. Lo chef molto gentile gira per i tavoli salutando tutti i commensali mettendoti a tuo agio. Il cibo è buonissimo, abbiamo mangiato i cappellacci con crema allo zafferano.. deliziosi. Per non parlare del lavarello burro e salvia.. ottimo. Poi dopo cena come dessert un ottimo tiramisu.Prezzo nella norma.. ci ritornerò sicuramente

The place is just great! Very elegant! The service was awesome 🇮🇹😎👍! The oysters 🦪 with the Prosecco 🥂 were nothing short of superb! I was not partial to the sea bass on zucchini though. The chocolate covered pistachio ice cream🍨were out of this world! Overall, ma magnificent experience 🤗👍!

One of my favorite places at North of Como lake, have been here numerous times. Always delicious food, amazing wine list. Service is in overall good, sometimes they are a bit overrun and it takes longer, but still friendly and professional.

Awesome food! Awesome staff with courteous of fine dining! You’ll never regret for what you pay. In fact having stayed a week in Domaso, we picked this restaurant to spend our last night and it was the right choice! This was the only restaurant that serves fresh risotto which they told me in advance it takes about 20mins-25mins. I am a big fan of risotto but trust me, you’ll never get ones around. Most of them arrived at your plate within 10mins! But this restaurant was the ONE! I am so happy with the food, the wine and the service! Checkout our food pic below! Plus they are generous to offer you on the house tiny bites while waiting. They even craft special vegetarian bites for me since I’m a vegetarian. Surely must try restaurant!

Situato i pittoreschi vicoli del centro storico di Domaso, a 100 mt dal lungolago. Locale intimo, curato, con una proposta di menu adeguata a vari gusti. E poi... il valore aggiunto: la presenza di un carismatico proprietario-chef.

Parliamo di un locale storico di Domaso che ha avuto diversi gestori per più o meno tempo ma tutti hanno mantenuto viva la peculiarità dell'osteria cui si accede scendendo due gradini e trovandosi in due stanze in pietra a vista e soffitti a volta. Una scala interna porta al primo piano dove le sale sono modernamente arredate. Il menu offre le specialità classiche del lago e pesce di mare ben preparato. Discreta la cantina ed i prezzi sono contenuti. È frequentato in particolare dai turisti che cercano questa atmosfera antica e non importa loro che non si veda il lago.Luglio 2025: locale chiuso fino a quando verrà trovato un nuovo conduttore
Risotto al pesce persico semplicemente delizioso... Se poi viene servito direttamente dallo chef che ti racconta come l'ha preparato te lo gusti ancora di più.
This is a mixed review. We tried four dishes and some were better than others. We really liked the spaghetti chitarra with sea food and were also satisfied with the tuna tataki. Unfortunately the ravioli with shrimps and the sea bass did not live up to expectations - the latter in particular was missing in flavor and seasoning, which is a pity for a 30€ dish.

We had a great dinner here tonight. The duck, the sea bass special and the gnocchi were the favorites. They didn’t offer a green salad on the menu, but they did have a mixed salad that was exceptionally fresh and delicious. Our only complaint was the time. It took us over an hour to get our food. They seem short staffed.

Siamo tornati in questo ristorante, avevamo un buon ricordo, cucina saporita, menù vario, purtroppo non possiamo dare lo stesso giudizio. La carbonara non ci ha convinto, la cottura della pasta non proprio al dente, il gusto del guanciale non si sentiva, ho chiesto aggiunta di pecorino per formare la cremina e per aggiungere sapore. L'agnello, il sapore buono ma a mio parere asciutto e non molto tenero, buone le patate. I due semifreddi buoni ma nel menù non si trova nemmeno una torta, la scelta è veramente misera. Il Sig. Enzo cuoco e titolare, è una persona cordiale, gentile, elegante, il suo staff professionale, cortese, a fine cena abbiamo fatto una piacevole chiacchierata con una delle sue ragazze, ambiente pulito, caratteristico. Il conto per quello che abbiamo mangiato troppo alto.
