We had a wonderful experience. We had a coupon for the campfire feast which includes one appetizer, 2 entrées, 4 sides, and 1 desert all for $47, normally $64. I got the 12 oz ribeye with the garlic herb butter topper and sautéed mushrooms and onion topper, with a choice 2 sides: au gratin potatoes (which are to die for) and roasted brussel sprouts. My fiancé got the 6 oz filet mingon, salad, and au gratin. The filet was out of this world tender cooked at medium rare. The dessert we the sky high mud pie, which very delicious.
Everything was Delicious, so filling, all the booths are really private as well, everything tasted home made especially the mac & cheese. The prime rib was super good, the lobster & shrimp was just on point! Waiters keep up with your table so no need to call anyone over, they check up very frequently. Overall the date i took my wife on was very nice, dinner had me full till the next morning, just super delicious! Give them a try
I love eating here usually it’s fast to sit and dine. Location I went to was under staffed was waiting 20 mins but the food is amazing. Super friendly staff and I love the email promotions. Save some $
Wasn't expecting anything spectacular, but the food was good and the service was excellent! Thank you Brie and Mando (might have misspelled their names), you both were GREAT!
Service was slow due to short staffing but our waitress, Lindsay, was a pleasure! She really did her very best to make our celebration a memorable one. The food was on point and using the coupon for the Campfire Dinner for 2 ($47) saved us a lot of $$. I ordered the full rack of ribs. Mmmmm...fall off the bone delicious!! Definitely recommend!
Wooow great food loved my drink and free dessert my steak was bomb ,expectional customer service
I haven't been to one in at LEAST 15 years as any near me went out of business bed a long time ago! I thought the whole chain was gone! Their food is just as good, if not Better, than I remember from way back when!!!! Can't wait till the next time I go!!!! ... Even if it is a bit of a drive from me... 😋
This location has what I like on their menu. The stakes, ribs and specialty drink are so good. As well as the service was wonderful. The reservation made much easier to get a table...will always go here.
This food and drink was prepped perfectly. It truly was amazing. The staff was nice and got everything correct. This is the lunch time crew and food I'm reviewing. It's a rare find and experience. I recommend and vouch.
Staff was great. We had a salad, Burger and frys. Couldn't finish it all, and I'm 6'2, 265lbs. It was a good time for my wife and I. Nice quiet lunch.
I love steak and lobster. Totally a good atmosphere all around... The hostess was nice and very helpful. Even better when shes cute. I asked for medium cooked filet mignon. it was a lil over cooked but it was still a yummy filet. I had no problems and if you looking for a good steak this is an excellent place to go.
Pleasantly surprised. The Restaurant isn't very inviting from the outside in my opinion, but the service and food were great. We went for Veteran's Day and they had a nice special for service members. Meat was cooked as requested it and the sides were delicious. Drinks were good and strong as well.
Top Sirloin was tender, delicious n perfectly cooked to order. Shrimp was just n tender also. Steak Soup delicious, lots of flavor. Waitress was superb, attentive n personable without hovering, great service from bartender as well. Highly recommend the Red Ale. House IPA was just OK. Great dinner out.
The bartender was friendly and gave great steak advice. I described my steak preferences and he made a recommendation for the bleu cheese and mushroom filet and it was quite good. The mashed potatoes were also flavorful and had a nice texture even without loading them up though I suspect that would be good as well. Back again and we had a great meal with a very sweet bartender who took great care of us. Upgrading to five stars for our experience tonight.
Really great atmosphere, fast service. Amazing food! My steak was a lil too pink for me... Server quickly fixed. Great crisp veggies. Quality matches the pricing👍
I personally like the food here. The Alaskan King Crab was the only fiasco. Prime rib and steak here is good
Having a little fun with my mashed potatoes. Devils tower was such a great visit and inspiration;) great dinner BTW!
Expect a queue up to 40mins. Food is better than it looks!
Big portion and a lot of left over to take home.
Great steaks, prompt and friendly service for our group of 10!
Good food, the starter nachos were huge. I could not finish my plate.
It's a chain but this one is newer and the cozy small booths make for romantic dinners. Same old food tho. Awesome servers. Wasnt crowed at lunch time on a Sat. Good spot for family lunch or birthday
We just had a 50th Birthday party for my husband last night...the food was good for the most part, my Son did not care for the mashed potatoes, and my daughter sent back the mac n cheese. My husband and I had New York strip and filet mignon, both delicious with mushrooms...we had 22 people. The servers did a good job for how large our party was...😉
Nice place, friendly staff and reasonably priced. The food quality though could be a little better. The ribs we very fatty and not much meat on them. The sides were ok but the sauce was too strong on the steak also. Could not taste the meat and I would have liked to have been asked if I wanted the sauce on the side. Otherwise it was a decent place and I'd go back here again if I had to, though perhaps not in the biggest hurry given the choice. It's a good restaurant overall though. Worth trying out at least one and making your own decision. :-)
Overall visit was nice, but service was great. 18 oz ribeye was prepared perfectly. Great flavor. Other sides were good, but mostly just average. Molten chocolate cake is a must if you want dessert.
Good food good service as I have always experienced here. The food was I wouldn't say perfect but it was really pretty good. I had the French Dip and my 2 sons had the half rack of ribs and the New York steak. He said it was very good. The ribs I was told were also very good and quite filling. We all had the raspberry / strawberry lemonade and that was also good in taste and seemed to also be fresh and was pretty good size also (see picture of my youngest) and void of the mildew like flavor that so many other restaurants seem to feel is OK to serve... Thank you Black Angus for a really quite nice lunch for myself and my 2 boys..
Mother's Day Dinner here. Not much wait time with reservation. Large portions of food, won't leave there hungry.😁Excellent food and attentive servers. Nice, attractive atmosphere, comfortable seating. You will feel like you've been out to a nice restaurant after dining at this Black Angus. Always had a great time at this place. Enjoy! One of my favorites🎉
Just an all around good, mid level steakhouse. The atmosphere is casual enough for a weeknight dinner, but classy enough to take someone for a birthday celebration or office party. The seafood choices are just OK, but the steaks are tasty and you can't beat the chocolate fudge cake for dessert. Keep your eyes peeled for coupons that give you a discount on the dinner for two. It's a good deal.
I used a $47 coupon for a double meal, which was an excellent value. It came with an appetizer and ine desert, which the waitress cut into two slices and put it on two separate plares as requested. My steaks have always been cooked exactly as ordered - medium. Also, my side dinner salad was better than most and it had lots of leafy variety. They didn't have gravy for my mashed potatoes, so that was a bummer. They have standard steak sauces but they would benefit coming up with some signature sauces on their own, like a whiskey peppercorn sauce.
Service was lacking. After giving our dinner order, we rarely saw our waiter- dessert order and bringing dessert. Our water was not refilled after asking...Giving 3 stars based on the food.
Bacon cheddar burger was decent the bacon was a bit too well done and not a big fan of pre made patties... good fries.
I used to like this place, get more disappointed every time I go. This last time I was served old green beans, I was given about 1 teaspoon of sour cream and butter total for my baked potato that was over cooked. As a vegetarian still going to steakhouse to eat.. it would be nice to get served delicious vegetables and a potato! It was not the case.
Usually very happy here. This time was different. It was kind of a slow Wednesday night. I ordered a half pound of Prime rib. It was so thin, I have had lunch meat that was thicker. A piece of meat that took up less of the plate, but was thicker, would have been more apprppriate. I have to say our waitress was amazing, providing good service
Food is pretty good. But we couldn't wait to leave because it was so cold! They have the AC cranked up because they only have one thermostat and its in the kitchen where its hot! I guess customer comfort isn't important to them! Get a split AC system! Its not difficult!!
I had the half pound Prime Rib and Two lobster tails. Ordered medium rare. Flavor was decent but was on the dry side. Lobster was good. I would have said something to the staff but they seemed very overwhelmed. It was Thanksgiving after all.
Wagon wheel sample platter was pretty good. Loaded Potatoes were over cooked. Potatoe soup is not as good as it was in the past. They changed something in the recipe. Little more spice. Prime rib was pretty good. Much thinner slice compared to the other times I've ordered. Bus boys were awesome. Better service than the waiter we had.
Its good. Not as good as it used to be. They were slammed it was mothers day so I will cut them some slack. I expect them to to be prepared for a busy day though. Food was not as hot as it should have been Shrimp and ribs were over cooked but our waitress Kristene was AWESOME. I suspect they were a bit overwhelmed. I will give it another go on a regular day.
Went there for a Saturday night dinner. The guy at reception was busy on his phone at a booth. The place wasn't supper busy but the servers were. After waiting for sometime without any service the waiter showed up and did the orders real quick. No bread yet. Waited for some more time and drinks and water came. Food came shortly after. Still no bread. I gave the waitress benefit of the doubt since it was busy and thought she might have forgotten. Finally I decided to ask for some bread, her response ..sorry it's all over. First of all have the courtesy to inform that without the customer asking, secondly have enough for a Saturday night dinner. It's not too much to ask , it's common sense since its Saturday night. The food was ok, my wife did the salmon which was pretty good apparently hence the 2 star. Or this place deserves one star.
Had lunch here for a birthday and order the ribeye in bone n it was so blend ! The price you paid is not worth it ! I was very disappointed!
We came in a little later last night for dinner. We were sat at a table right by the bar area. We could hear the bartender and servers arguing over how they are supposed to split/share their tips.. also there were a few loud people talking about inappropriate topics there as well. Quite annoying when we were trying to enjoy a date night. We usually enjoy coming here for the prime rib, but it was overly fatty this time..disappointing. maybe it's just this location. Or perhaps we just came in too close to closing hour. Not sure, but likely won't be back.
The original Place burned down and the new place will open in late May. The two star review is due to inexperience Waiters. The food is near excellent but when a waiter serves a cold it is a bad experience.
The food was good but the service was terrible. We were there more than an hour before they took our order. One in our party of 12 waited 35 minutes for a beer, and had to ask 3 times to be served. We were there a total of 3 hours, which is ridiculous for dinner. One in our party did not receive his ordered desert. Various waiters showed up randomly with food but didnt know what it was or who had ordered it, and we did not receive all our food at the same time. We won't go there again.
The service was horrible. We waited for the water and bread for 45 minutes after placing our order. It was my birthday, but waitress ignored that fact, so I didn't even got a candle on my piece of cake. I'll never come back to that horrible place. My celebration day was screwed in every possible way.
Would think it twice to come here again. They took a long time to get us seated even though the place was practically empty. There was a party of three in front of us and they had been waiting a few minutes longer than us. Once we were seated and given the menus a couple that were seated some minutes after us were served first and all ready eating while we still were waiting for a waiter to take our order. When someone finally showed up to take our order and our drinks were brought to us (and the person throwing the napkin at our table before putting our drinks) it wasn't a waiter nor a busboy since it appeared that they were so short on personel that I only saw 2 waiters the whole time we were eating. From the time we sat down to when our order was taken it must've been 10 minutes and that's not counting another 10 minutes for our food to be served, our waiter very apologetic kept telling us he would check why our order was taken so long. The food was good I must say, but just the waiting was ridiculous.
Worst experience. Service was awful , we were there for an hour and 45 min from the time we were seated, ( only 2 of us )food came out cold and clearly was sitting under heat lamp was dried out. The other tables that were seated way after us got their food first. Spinach dip was bland chips stale. Waitress forgot everything we asked for even though she wrote it down. Won't go back.
Our family went to Black Angus as a family on Father’s Day to celebrate my husband the father of our 5 daughters and 2 grandchildren 1 and of our son in laws who was all present. I made 2 reservations for 5 with open table since I was not able to reserve 1 table for 10. We all arrived a little early and ask if we could have 2 tables near each other... When they seated us they put one group way in the back by the kitchen and the other close to the entrance of the restaurant. There was other empty tables in both locations around us when we were seated. We asked again if we could sit closer together and was refused by the host. My husband ended up eating only with me and 1 of our daughters, the others just ate at the other table. We had 2 different waiters & 2 separate bills..We spent a good amount of money. My husband was sad that he didn’t get to eat with our whole family. He said we probably shouldn’t go there anymore. We have gone there many times as a family but never been treated like that...especially on such a Special occasion..Everybody don’t Celebrate their Great Father’s...But we tried to and that moment was ruined.. If there wasn’t any tables available close to any of the to locations we would have understood, but that was not the case. The hosts was just being jerks.
Staff is friendly, but the appetizer came out late and cold. The drinks were forgotten twice and the order did not come out as ordered. I had a really bad experience was just really unhappy I would go to the Applebee's next door better food and service.
The people beside us came in after us, ordered after us and were done eating and gone before we even saw our food. Our waitress was nowhere to be found. After complaining to someone else she finally brought the food Great! Wrong the food was undercooked. Then we got dessert, which was a pozookie. It was hard and I can tell it was microwaved. All and all it was a was bad experience.
My steak had good flavor, but it was,by far, the lowest quality prime rib it has ever been my misfortune to see much less be served. I have eaten a lot of steak in my 57 years but someone was definitely asleep when that steak was cooked and served.
Horrible service. After we received our food, the only time we saw the waitress was when she brought the bill. Never checked on us 1 time. Called manager he was unapologetic . Second time we have been there service equally bad both times. Upside, food was good.
