Lee's Sandwiches

First time trying Lee’s Sandwiches and it was super tasty! Loved their Honey Han and BLT and their avocados were fresh!! My husband also loved their Classic Bahn Mi sandwich! Little pricey, but overall a high quality taste! Oh and they’re SUPER fast!

If only every Lee's sandwich spot was like this. That's the beauty with Lee's though, you never know what you're going to get at each location lol. Don't sleep on the breakfast sandwich with fresh banquettes. I know there's a popular bagel store next door but mix it up a little. You'll be surprised.

The iced coffee was also the best I’ve ever had and I’m not even a coffee drinker like that. The cashier was super kind and goated, we waited for a little long but he was the only one working. We got chicken egg rolls which were okay, but we let them get cold so they probably would’ve been better fresh. I will definitely be coming back to try more stuff!

I live in the mountains and this is always my first stop when I'm headed to the Bay Area. I've stopped here dozens of times over the years. The staff is consistently excellent. The food is consistently fresh and excellent. The store is small and clean, and the restrooms are always clean.

Really great friendly staff. Good quality Lees Oh and they have a hot case with goodies in it. I love that. But a strange seating array. You have to sit with other people if you want to eat inside. I get it's a small place so that's probably the best option for space. Would love a place to sit where I don't have to ask someone lady to move her stuff over to let others sit. I love Lee's. This location is cute and trendy. My favorite is the Chinese bbq pork Bahn mi (today's pick). I also love their vermicelli bowls as well as their breakfast items, especially the caramelized steak, egg, and cheese sandwich (so yummy on baguette or croissant). The chicken curry always looks delicious and I'm thinking it'll be a good choice next time I go. I also love to buy the single baguettes. Lee's is great value for the money and this location is fast and convenient - can't ask for more.

A woman is visiting from Canada and has been coming every day on her vacation to get their coffee so if you like caffeine, I’d give it a try but an amazing shop.

Visited first time today. Asked for a Veggie sandwich recommendation. Staff recommended Lemongrass Tofu Banh Mi. It was great!! Bread was super soft and sauce gave it a nice flavor. Will definitely be coming back.

The total came out to be $15. The service was a little strange. Even though they have a microphone it was still hard to hear the server. She also seemed pretty hesitant to ask the cooks a question about the ingredients about the peanut sauce.

banh mi is decent. Not sure if it’s just me but the Vietnamese coffee is extremely sweet. And the Thai tea now tastes like the bottled one at the Asian market. I asked for lite ice in both drinks and because of that, they didn’t fill the drinks to the top.

I've been wanting to try their sandwiches for the longest time. Finally had the chance to stop by on my way to an appt. I ordered 5 of the same sandwhich. #1, combination. I guess its partly my fault for not knowing what was in it. When I saw the word combination, I just thought it's a combination of mixed meat. 🤷‍♀️ it's just headcheese. I was disappointed. Maybe next time, I'll look carefully and order something else. The customer service was good and fast.

Make no mistake, the sandwiches at Lees are fantastic and the signature coffee is lovely if you want something a bit more exotic than Subways or Jimmy John's. The baguettes are the best I've had in a sandwich shop and the patê is very addictive. The hot snacks are delicious. It's really worth a visit or three just to taste the wide range of Vietnamese food on offer. And so I come to it; the reason I gave Lees 3 stars. It's because the service isn't great . I have been three times in the last month. Three times they got the order wrong even though it's on the printed ticket. The last time I went they missed a complete sandwich !!! It wasn't even busy. I also noticed that other customers were coming back saying this isn't what I ordered or this isn't my order. Don't get me wrong, the servers are always very friendly and are very keen to fix things, there just seems to be a disconnect between them taking the order and then the kitchen making the order and then you getting what you ordered. It turns a quick purchase for lunch into a "am I going to make it back to work in time" situation. Despite all of this, like I said, I've been back three times, so take that how you will. One bit of advice, ALWAYS check your order before you leave.

I came soon after the location opened. I ordered an iced coffee and shredded chicken sandwich, which I read good reviews about. I was concerned when my order came out about two minutes after I ordered, which means the food was pre-made although I did not come during rush hour. The iced coffee was 80% by volume ice and the shredded chicken sandwich was so dry. The chicken was very old because it had the texture of crusty yellow shreds. It was similar to when you mix shredded chicken and mayo and after a couple hours, the top crusts over, but the entire sandwich was that. There was no sauce in the sandwich. Did not meet my expectations.

Been here a few times and it’s been great. Today I was trying to order the same vegan spring rolls I always order and dude said they don’t have them. I pointed out that they are on the menu. Not only that he kept asking me to repeat myself because he had his headphones in and couldn’t hear me. Definitely not returning that was ridiculous. This was on 1/12/2025 @ 3:30

This place was at one time my "go to" place on my way to the bay area! I was so excited this last weekend when we stopped to buy food. The pork bun and the sticky rice meat bowl were both thrown away. The quality of the food has changed and it may be due to ownership changing. We will never eat there again.

Normally I like the food but whoever was cooking on 12/5 at lunch was definitely the worst...the marinated steak in my banh mi bowl was like rubber and wasn't thrilled with the girl at the register. Seems food quality and service has seriously gone down since the pandemic.

Not impressed with THIS Lee's sandwich. I miss the old ones when you can get a quality sandwich at a decent price. I wouldn't have too much objection if the quality of the service matched to the quality of sandwich. Also, I downloaded the app and I asked the girl behind the counter if they accepted the offer and she said they don't. HOW CAN LEE'S SANDWICH OFFER FREE SIGN UP DRINK AND BAGUETTE WHEN THE LOCATIONS DON'T. DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. Any way, thank goodness there are Vietnamese restaurants that do offer the Ban Mi sandwiches better quality and cheaper prices. When I finally got my sandwich, it was clear it had been rushed, likely because they had forgotten my order. I didn't receive any apology until I brought up the delay myself. The excuse given was that the cashier was new, although I had seen them working there before. Despite the long wait, no courtesy item was offered. As someone who works across the street and was on a short lunch break, I ended up wasting most of my time waiting in stress. This experience was disappointing and frustrating.

Nasty food safety practices. Look at the other negative reviews here and eat at your own risk. Ordered 4 sandwiches from this place, 2 of them had meat which was GREEN and smelled rotten. Took a very very small bite and almost threw up. Had to throw the sandwiches out. Called the place and they seemed unfazed. So not only are they not taking care of their produce but the employees are so checked out or uncaring that they'll happily put OBVIOUSLY ROTTEN meat into your sandwich. Gross.

I love the food here, and employees are always kind/ efficient. This review *however* is for the owners or upper management. This week, there has been another heat wave, averaging 100° every day. A couple weeks ago, it was hotter. I am concerned, considering, every time I walk inside this location, there is no air to speak of? The door is usually kept open (we have heavy wind here in Dublin).. and I saw hard-working employees with nothing but a fan in one spot to keep them cool otherwise. It doesn't feel right to me to get food from employees working in 80°+ indoor heat. Let me know if there's anyone else I can reach out to, and I'll be happy to. I'll not be going to this location until this is no longer the case, and I'll be discouraging those I know from going regularly also. I urge you to consider treating your employees with this basic human dignity. Thanks for reading. 🙏🏼

The worst Lee Sandwich and most expensive that I have ever been to. Bought 2 #5 and a avocado smoothie. The sandwich is cold, soft🙁. The bbq pork inside is room temperature, mix between over cooked black hard pork, some ok and pieces of clear pork fat🙄😱. The cilantro turning yellow. For the smoothies, it has no taste since it is too much ice. It cost almost $30. We were traveling and have not had any Vietnamese foods for over a week, looking for some good Vietnamese food on our way home. Found this place, such a sad situation. Very disappointed.

Ordered online for a 12:15 pickup today, and they didn't start my order until I showed up to pick it up at 12:20... I get my order 30 minutes later and it's missing avocados off of an avocado sandwich

The protein in my sandwich it was one tiny piece of roast beef that looks like jerky and the ham taste like bologna. While we were eating, they received the inventory- the produce, meats and dairy including eggs it was sitting outside on the side walk for more than 20minutes at 85 degree. The floor and the vents on the displays were stuffed with dust. I used to work in restaurants and I don’t recommend to eat there.

We ordered some egg rolls and the shell was hard. It feels like day old bread. Then we also ordered a Bobo drinks and the Boba was hard. I hard to spit it out. Way too sweet and I had to douse it with water.
