Peet's Coffee

This Peet's coffee is amazing, not only by it's services but by the view of Dublin you get. The servers are always very nice, and it is in prime position. It is just a perfect place for a Sunday morning cup of coffee. The only tiny complaint I have with this place, is that they are close to early, but that might just be me.

Peet's is my favorite coffee and one my favorite coffee shops. The coffee is always consistently pleasing, and they always have a large selection of various pastries, breads, and sandwiches. This location also accommodates quite a few patrons and is located in a relaxed atmosphere. Peet's never disappoints.

Came over with a coworker and had a Sparkling Citrus Tea drink. Pleasantly surprised that it wasn't too sweet. Friendly and fast service considering how busy they were.

Lovely ambience and hip crowd for an instant mood boost. I enjoyed the general vibe of this place.

I usually have other coffee places put less sweetener but theirs is dead perfect and damn good. Tables outside were full due to indoors is closed so I took mine for a field trip to the park.

I came to the area of a business trip and had to get coffee for the crew everyday. The staff recognized me easily and gave me Pete's usual gold standard service.

Friendly service! Hot chocolate was the right temperature (not too hot). I think the whipped cream was a little skimpy.

Great staff and coffee. Can be busy in the AM so get your mobile order in to be "in & out". Also good place to chill or do some laptop work. Small seating area outside is nice in the Spring or Summer.

Great coffee and pastries, I usually have a high regard for the staff at Peet's, but I've rated it at 3 stars because the customer service ranges from excellent to just plain rude, depending on who is making the drinks and coffee that day. On Sunday 9th July between 11AM and 1230PM I saw the person making the coffee being very rude to a customer. There were over 8 drinks randomly placed on the ready counter, no names on the cups. The lady asked if one of the drinks was hers, the barrista said "I don't know I didn't make it" and then just turned her back on the customer and offered no further help. Being a manager of a bar, I found that to be unacceptable, rude behaviour. Hopefully one bad apple in what I've found to be a friendly, helpful team. 13 May 2018 Upgraded my rating to four stars. I have been coming here regularly since my last review. I can safely say that the customer service and range of coffees is excellent. So much so, that although I live closer to the other coffeehouse chain, I always come to Peets. I love the range of pastries and sandwiches and the new coffee combinations such as the Golden Latte are superb. I recommend this place to anyone who'll listen. The manager Nichole, is a star and the world's a happier place when she's on duty.

They need another espresso/coffee machine to make the specialty coffees and more staff. I haven’t been here in a while and 8-9am is the worse time at Peet’s. I waited 25-30 minutes for my coffee. I know this because I finished eating my pastry and I checked the time from ordering coffee till I had the coffee in my hand. I should of ordered just plain black coffee instead. Come to Peet’s when you are not in a rush to go to work or if there’s ever a time they are slow during the day. Coffee this morning was okay and spent about $12 for a medium ice blended coffee and 1 pastry. Getting too pricey.

The coffee and tea are great as always, but the woman at the front counter was one of the worst service members I have seen. My 81 year old grandma was visiting from Tokyo and the woman (who’s name I am not including) was awful. She was getting so frustrated with our simple questions and genuinely so rude. She even grumbled our orders and rolled her eyes while handing us our coffees. I was actually embarrassed for her. The others were nice and helpful.

Really good service, but very poor acoustics inside, it's very hard to hear the person at your table through all the other voices bouncing around inside. Also, oddly only have spoons to eat your cinnamon roll with.

As I was leaving, I looked back—which is understandable—and the staff member gave me a disapproving look. Overall, the experience felt quite unprofessional. The people I was with wanted me to try this place. I was nearly burned by how hot the coffee was, once it finally cooled the beans were obviously burnt by the taste. I cannot believe how bad my simple Mocha was made, I picked it specifically because it is an easy starter drink for new places.

They expanded the dining area but the place is still slammin. Waited over 30 minutes for my white chocolate mocha to come out because the were busy working on a big office order of 10 plus drinks. They should have assigned one barista to handle that big order and another to handle the single ones.

Attempted to order today. 40 minutes later, I attempted to get an update on my order as multiple people who ordered in front of me had received their orders but couldn't get anyone to acknowledge me for another 10 minutes. Ended up cancelling my order and got the exact same order within a few minutes at Paris Baguette 5 minutes away.

I regularly go to this Peet's since it is close to my house - it usually takes a long time to receive my drink. Over the past few months, I had learned to order my drink via the app well in advanced (10+ minutes) so the drink is ready when I arrive. However, this time around was an extremely disappointing experience. I had friends over for the holidays so I decided to take them as well. It took close to 30 minutes to receive our drinks. On top of that, the drinks were inaccurate and we had to tell the staff about our missing drink twice since they had forgotten about it. One of the drinks ordered was a iced coffee and I received a cold brew - when I asked the barista to remake the drink, they said "it is basically the same thing". This was extremely disappointing to hear, especially from a barista - they should not be saying that iced coffee and cold brew are the same thing. Very disappointed by this experience, especially because I love Peet's coffee and this location is within walking distance.

Long line to order. Only 1 person taking orders. Ordered vanilla latte and a pumpkin bread slice. Took almost 20 min to get drink. By that time, it made me late to a church service. So couldn't even drink it cause I can't bring it into the church. So didnt even get to enjoy it. Won't be back.

So the coffee is burnt and sour to the level that it is not drinkable. The restroom has a sign that it's closed to the public while it's perfectly fine. When I asked for a cup of water for my 6 years old son, I was given a hard time because apparently there is a separate charge now for a water cup, either for a water or just for a cup. Some kind of nonsense. The staff was rude and tried to make me ashamed of asking for a cup of water.

Ordered a iced matcha latte. Waited 25+ minutes for this order. At that point could have bought all the ingredients and made it at home myself! Seems like they have a different station for iced vs hot drinks and they forgot about iced drinks. Drink itself was ok, Starbucks matcha is better

Me & my wife went to this location for coffee today ( Morning), total waiting time for my wife to get her coffee is more than half an hr; @ the end my wife still didn't get her coffe. Every time my wife followed up about her coffee, they said 5 to 10 mins, but coffee never show up. Then my wife decided to cancel the coffee, because waiting time is too long. They weren't let my wife cancel her coffee, they said it needs another 5 to 10 mins, but we insisted to cancel the coffee, then those cashier people just showed us the poker face(The facult is not from our side) not let us cancel the order, then we told them we need to cancel the coffee due to waiting time is too long. Finally, they canceled our coffee & gave us the refund with mean face & even without the apologies. I don't know what happened with this branch, I bought coffee from this branch for more than 15 yrs & never see this kind of issue before. I'm not sure it's because switch to new manager. Pitts cofee is still a good cofee, I like it. But not this branch.

However, instead of taking the items from the display, the staff member pulled them from a large plastic box—which I assumed was for storing excess items. Unfortunately, when I got home, all the baked goods were stale, dry, and hard to eat. They clearly weren’t fresh. This was really disappointing, especially given how fresh everything looked in the display case. I won’t be ordering from this place again. If you do decide to try it, make sure to check where they’re pulling your order from—it might not be what you see on the display.
