Safi was the most pleasant bartender and we really enjoyed our night. Loved my royal amber and old fashioned cocktail!

Had a wonderful time here, shame it was only for one evening. Had a nightcap in the lobby bar and we were served by Safi who was so pleasant, efficient and friendly. The hotel and staff were brilliant but Safi really stood out

Safi is one of the pillars of this hotel , his service is outstanding and his attention to detail is second to none , he always makes us feel welcome and makes every visit a memorable one. We always look forward to being looked after by him and his team .

Was at the Lobby Lounge just few days ago, and everything was amazing. The service was fast and the waitress, Maria, was so attentive to us. We had some really tasty and unusual cocktails real nice treats, Davide, the bartender, explained all of them to us. Extra points for the pastry chef as the Creme Brulé was fabulous. Alex and his team looked after us very well, would defo recommend it! Must go in Dublin!

Had a really great afternoon tea here. Two of us had vegan and two vegetarian, both delicious. There was more than enough sandwiches and treats, but not huge leftover waste like we've seen in some places. Staff were really friendly, engaged with our kids and helpful.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The food was just OK. My main issue was the service started out great but my server disappeared. She seemed to be overwhelmed.

Trust the other reviews. The food for the price is one of the worst deal in Dublin. 8.20€ for a bottle of water. Small portions, horrendous taste. Good service though but just stay away .

Booked a table for a match day lunch. Very disappointed with the inattentive servers - Sat for almost 20-minutes waiting to be served after receiving our table, in the meantime, one of us went to the bar to get drinks, then had to get a servers attention to order food. In the time that we were seated and waiting to order, two tables who came in after us were looked after. No one around when looking to settle the bill either. Unfortunate experience as service has previously been great here, especially on match days. Food came out quickly though, and was pretty tasty but quite pricey for what you get.

The food was very mediocre (the soup was cold and the bread that came with my aloo Gobi seemed stale), but what bothered me the most was that the Express Lunch deal for €21 was only available for non-vegetarians. We enquired whether there was a vegetarian option or if it would be possible to simply substitute the vegetarian sandwich on the menu for the pastrami sandwich included in the deal, but were told that no vegetarian option could be offered (despite there being several vegetarian dishes on the menu). It would be one thing - albeit highly unusual for Dublin - if the restaurant simply did not have a vegetarian dish on the menu, but in effect this restaurant is penalising vegetarians by excluding them from the deal on offer and forcing them to pay double the price for an equivalent menu.

Got in early before my room was ready, I sat here for 2 hours and no one offered a menu, drink, anything. Ok sure. So 2 days later, my friends and I decide to dine here for dinner. Bad choice. We didn't have a dedicated waiter. It took very long to even get one and when we did, we asked for a drink menu and he said he would bring one but would like to get our food order first. Sure. So we ordered and then got the drink menu, kind of backwards. Drinks came and one didn't look right, I said it's not what we ordered, but our new waiter said it was. Sure. Food came, all at once. Not apps, then entrees. Then the waiter returns to announce I was right, the drink was wrong. Sure. Steak was cooked to the right temp, but the cooking element needs to be cleaned. The crust on the steak tasted like acrid coal. Sure. We ordered another drink, but had to from memory because a completely different waiter came by and asked us for the drink menu on our table. Although we seemed like we didn't want to give it up because we were still ordering drinks, they took it anyway. Sure. Also, no one checked on us, at all. And who would it be? We had no less than 4 different interactions with as many different people; who was our waiter??? Sure. The second drinks never came. We finally had to ask for our check and the drinks. We left and took the drinks to our rooms. We were not in a hurry, we are totally ok with a relaxed meal, this was not that. This was us in the dining room getting horrible service, if any. Also the truffle fries were horrid. There was a white gloppy sauce that looked like it was just plopped over the top very haphazardly. Sure. Would NOT return. The staff in the breakfast room, however, need a raise. We watched them take care of customers with a smile, even one customer that seemed hell bent on being a jerk. They were efficient, friendly, perfection. And the food was excellent. The midday & night shift could learn something from the morning shift. The prices... not indicative of the quality, at all.

We went to the Lobby Lounge for my Dads birthday. We had an awful experience between the food and the service. I ordered a steak which was 48 euro and it came out cold and with no sides at all. i had to ask for peppercorn sauce 3 times until it was brought. The pasta special my dad ordered my dry with no sauce. The service was appalling with the waiter stating they were clearly understaffed thats why the service was very poor. We overheard a gentlemen complain about his steak being cold too.This hotel is meant to be a 5 star hotel and yet the food and service was what you expect of a 1 star. truely disappointed

I booked a table here for my son’s birthday 10 days in advance, after being assured we would be provided halal meat as requested. On the morning of that day, I received a call from the restaurant informing me that they couldn’t fulfil my request, as the supplier hadn’t delivered the meat. I then rescheduled the dinner for the following day. I was reassured that I wouldn’t be let down. The following day, I receive an apologetic call from the assistant manager informing me that my request, once again, couldn’t be fulfilled, and asked me if I wanted to reschedule it once more. I had enough at this stage, and cancelled the dinner altogether. I had overall a bad experience, and the management are not trustworthy at all.

Abysmal cafeteria food

Very very expensive for coffee/cake (dessert more expensive than fish and chips on their own menu) and waiting staff quite inexperienced.
