I loved the service. When we arrived, the girl who greeted us was quick to find us an available table. Kassandra is a spectacular girl. If we could give her 5 stars, she would have 10. Her service was fantastic, and not to mention the DELICIOUS food.

Attended a private event in the back room. The servers were curtious and helpful, refilling glasses and taking away used plates. The appetizers were fried zucchini and crab cakes. Then entrées of salmon with fried shrimp, rigatoni with marinara, and a second pasta dish with chicken and alfredo. There was plenty of food and it was delicious! Finally, the desserts were apple cake with ice cream, and another, I don't recall, but was also tasty. Everyone was well-fed!

Our family loves eating at Maggiano's! As a family that lives with food allergies, this is one of our safe and favorite places to eat. We appreciate that when we mention someone has food allergies, a chef comes to the table to discuss the menu and what is to be ordered and verifies what is safe. The staff is always friendly and it's a great atmosphere. We tend to do reservations as the wait times can be long. The food is consistently delicious. We will continue to eat here for years to come!

My son and I came here a few days ago to celebrate my birthday, and it was such a great experience from start to finish! Our server, Siyah, (spelling?) was so sweet and easy to talk to — we had a really nice conversation, and she even gave us some great recommendations on what to order. I went with her suggestion, and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious, my lemon drop with tequila was just right, and the whole atmosphere was perfect. We sat outside since the weather was so nice, and I really appreciated them giving me a cloth napkin to sit on so I wouldn't get pollen on my dress. On top of all that, Siyah even surprised me with a coupon for free food, which was such a nice touch. They really made my birthday feel special and we will definitely be back!

Maggiano’s is our favorite restaurant in the Triangle area of North Carolina. This evening, for the third consecutive December, our Triangle Area, Carolinas Region, Porsche Club of America, enjoyed its holiday celebration here and everyone was very complimentary about his or her experience. The atmosphere and ambiance are warm and welcoming. Those high ceilings and dark wood columns and beams lend an attractive, upscale feel. The service is prompt, polite, knowledgeable and respectful with excellent listening skills that make communication easy. The menu is very extensive and the meals are fresh, delicious, and fairly priced. Maggiano’s Little Italy is our family’s go-to choice for delicious food in a most comfortable setting with excellent service and fair prices. Plus, convenient parking is readily available and Southpoint Mall is attached to the restaurant. What could be better?

I'm giving this place 5 stars across the board. #1 the service here is on point. Our waitress "Jomanda" went above and beyond to cater to our table. #2 I absolutely love large salads & I got the Italian chopped salad & it exceed my expectations with the quality & quantity. Delicious!! I got the T-bone steak, mushrooms, asparagus. The mushrooms were some of the best I've tasted. My lil girl age 3 liked their spaghetti & meatballs. And also, the atmosphere is undeniable. We love the dim lights and relaxing ambiance. I would tell you to give it a try & you won't be dissatisfied. (2 photos added) -nikki

Last time before this time I went to Maggiano’s was about 20 years ago, and it surprised me in a very good way, it was as delicious as I can remember. It was a night for celebrating and our waitress made it a very special celebration.

We chose this location for our wedding night dining spot. All I can say is it was everything you could ask for in a dining experience. We were all thoroughly impressed with our waitress Nadia. Her personality was warm and inviting and she’s very knowledgeable about the menu. She even offered great selections. The food was fresh and tasted amazing. The restaurant staff were all nice and inviting. We spoke to the manager to compliment him on his restaurant. Don’t hesitate to dine here.

Awesome experience for my 17th wedding anniversary food was awesome! Service was even better. Mike our server was exceptional!!! Love that most of the menu is made in house which shows up in the taste of the food pasta was perfect!! Definitely highly recommend if you like Italian food!!!

Very happy we stopped by here after wandering around the mall! Located in the Streets at Southpoint, there is plenty of parking. We came in for lunch on a Sunday and didn't have to wait and were served pretty quickly. The server was very friendly and guided us through the menu. She made sure to ask about allergies and when she realized it was our first time there she told us we'd get a special surprise. When we asked about the soup of the day, she also brought us samples to try. There was also complimentary bread. Service really was spectacular. The chef came out later and brought us crispy zucchini fritte on the house to treat us for it being our first time, and I felt special. They also tasted amazing, and I loved the white sauce that it came with. We ordered the crab cakes, shrimp fettuccine alfredo, and linguine & clams. I liked how the crab cakes came with arugula and plenty of sauce. The crab cakes themselves were a little salty though. There could have been less breading also. The two pasta dishes were delicious. I liked how the clam pasta came with an extra bowl for me to discard the shells -- very thoughtful. The restroom was also very clean and gave me fancy vibes with the smooth jazz playing and traditional decor. Overall the restaurant is decorated the way you would expect a fancy restaurant to be. It was a very lovely dining experience.

From start to finish, my friend and I had an amazing experience at Maggiano's! We decided to stop in for dinner after shopping-luckily the wait was pretty short (only 10 mins). Every team member we interacted with was so kind, we got complimented by one of the servers as soon as we walked in which just made our experience pleasant from the jump. Our waitress, Ahleya, was everything you could ask for in a server: fun, attentive, charismatic, and friendly. She easily made my friend's birthday dinner a 10/10 night. The bread and parmesan olive oil dip was delicious, and the Dr. L Riesling was spot on. I can't tell you how much I needed the lasagna, though. It was so delicious and exactly what I wanted!! Maggiano's also brought my friend a free little birthday treat and we ordered tiramisu which I cannot recommend enough as it was so rich in flavor. We were also sat at a booth which was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We both agreed that we had a perfect spot in the dining room. The overall feel of the restaurant was very warm, relaxing, and intimate. They also box your leftovers for you so you don't have to worry about making a mess! And lastly, another compliment to Ahleya--she was an angel and took some pictures for us on our dinner date and kept hyping us up 😭🩷 That made our night, especially since we don't get to see each other often and we always forget to take photos together. Thank you Ahleya!! Overall, I was pleasantly impressed with the service, the feel of the restaurant, and the food. I will definitely come back next time I'm visiting the triangle! Maggiano’s Little Italy is simply wonderful! The food is incredible — full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere is so warm and elegant, it feels like a little trip to Italy. The staff are amazing — friendly, caring, and always make you smile. No matter how my day goes, this place always makes me feel happy and relaxed. Highly recommend to everyone who loves good food and good vibes!

I have loved eating here each time we’ve been. The service has always been excellent and the food top notch. We are actually planning to come tonight for Valentine’s Day!

Paige was a phenomenal server. She offered recommendations for each turn. She found a way to engage with our large group each individually in a way where they felt acknowledged. We were celebrating post holidays and didn't feel rushed. She is a wonderful asset to your organization and the food was delicious.

It was truly an unforgettable experience. I can’t thank you enough for helping make our celebration so special. My guests had the best time — the food was incredible, and the servers were so kind and attentive. Everyone is still talking about it, and a few even mentioned wanting to host their own events at Maggiano’s! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making our first anniversary such a beautiful memory.

Service great. We were seated with only a 5 minute wait, even without reservations, most likely because we were there about 5 so ahead of dinner rush. Food was bountiful and delicious, with the exception of the Caesar salad --tbe dressing is VERY strong, heavy on garlic & heavy anchoive flavor. If that is what you like, great! We sent it back for the house salad which was delicious.

We just had our daughter’s 7th bday party here. They were so kind and patient and wonderful. It was 12 children and 2 adults, and everyone found food to eat, and enjoyed themselves despite it being the very busy lunch hour. The family style was enough to feed about 20 more than we had and all things considered was a great value. Food was delicious and hot and service was the best we have had at a restaurant in months. Thank you so much!

My family went for my sister's 60th birthday party. 20 people attended this party. The food was top tier. We all shared the salad and appetizer. The appetizer was mushrooms and fried zucchini with ceaser salad. They did not have my crab cakes so I choose the blackened salmon with spinach and mashed potatoes. The sauce that surrounded the dish with fried shrimp on the top was plated so hot that it never even got cool. If you want a customer to be a repeat customer keep the food hot and well seasoned. I can’t say enough about the service I received tonight, not to mention the ambiance is to die for. Not to mention the prompt service aiding my every request was exceptional. My drinks were fantastic and the bartender, Grant, curated them based on my personal tastes when I couldn’t decide. Simply delectable. The manager, Willie, was soooo gracious and accommodating. Very aware of our table and the restaurant and his team. Aaron wasn’t even a server of ours and he came and offered help, suggestions, extras and condiments without us even asking. We had a blast! We will definitely be back. This was the best meal I’ve had so far this year! 2026 is looking up. It’s a vibe! 10 out of 10 would recommend.

We had an excellent experience. We came night of Jan. 3. Sat at a two person hightop near the bar. Server was a black male with suspenders and facial hair and short hair. For the life of me can't remember his name but he was just AMAZING. My husband waited tables for many, many years at high end establishments and this guy was just wonderful. The drinks were great. I LOVED the Rosa Spritz. My husband's steak was cooked to perfection. Its been a long time since we've been somewhere and not had to send his steak back. I had the chicken Frances. I am not exaggerating when I say it was the best chicken Ive had a restaurant. The lemon butter really made the dish. Texture was perfect. Crisp was perfect. We were very satisfied with the cost, service and food. The only negative (but not even really a negative) was we didnt finish the appetizer of truffle bread. I feel the other appetizers are better. I wouldn't order that again. It was delicious but you already get the delicious yeast rolls for free and I actually liked them better. So next time I will try a different appetizer. I REALLY loved those rolls!

Went with long time friends. Great place where you could have a conversation without all that loud background noise. Wonderful food and wait staff. We all had different dishes and they were all so very delicious and hot. Not dried or over cooked. Just wonderful. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Haven’t been to a Maggiano’s since 2018 & thanks to Lindsey, our next visit will be much sooner than 7.5 years. We popped in for a quick birthday lunch while we were walking South Point & Lindsey made us want to stay for the dinner hour! He was so kind, attentive & ready to ensure any need we had was met! He was such a delight and even brought Chef Kenny out to us when we had special allergen/dietary needs that needed to be accommodated! When we come back we will surely asking for Lindsey! He is such a gem & truly made my birthday lunch outting worth the time! Thank you Lindsey & Chef Kenny! We will be back! :)

The bruschetta was my favorite! I don't normally have cheese or pesto on mine and they made both ingredients so well, I preferred it. Best ever! Our server, Aaron (spelling?), was fantastic. He has a very enjoyable personality. All the food was great. My kiddo even liked their pizza, which she can be picky about.

Where to start. First the sweet and salty bread was a great start, the drinks were strong but had phenomenal flavor also (espresso martini, lemondrop martini). We Had the family dinning experience and it was fantastic! Reminded me of true homemade cooking. Best fried mozzarella anywhere! Wagyu meatballs were incredible! The salads were good and tried both but we just packed them for to-go to save room for the real stars. Rigatoni al la vodka was great, nice and tangy large portion. The chicken parm was tender, juicy, crispy, and flavorful! The filet medallions and mashed potatoes were absolutely immaculate! The wagyu stuffed shells were solid as well but could have had a bit more cheese in them. The fresh cheesecake was divine! The tiramisu had wonderful espresso flavor and was nice and balanced. Wasn't a fan of the chocolate cake as a whole ( the cake itself had this black licorice undertone) but the frosting and the mouse were great!

This is my favorite Italian restaurant in all of the RDU. I always save this place for special occasions, and today was one of the most special in my entire life. Y'all always do me right, and I love your pasta dishes. Best believe I will be back again. Janae, thank you for all your help, and the sangria suggestion!

I’ve been in North Carolina for five years, and I can honestly say I’ve never had an experience like the one I had at Maggiano’s. I went to celebrate my best friend’s birthday, and everything was amazing from start to finish. Taurus and Paige were the best waiters so friendly and attentive. Gregory, the sous chef, and Willie, the assistant manager, made sure everything was perfect. They even customized my drink (a Pomegranate Moscow Mule, which was so good!) and surprised my best friend with a personalized birthday card. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was just right. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Wow, what can I say!!! It's amazing how it felt just like I was in Rome!! The chicken parmesan couldn't have ate it faster. Wish I had another with me right now! Our server Daniella was amazing ! She made us feel at home right away and was there whenever we needed her. Definitely recommend asking for her when you get here. And the manager Willly was great! He came to check on us when we were eating and because it was my son's birthday he even brought him a lemon cookie 😁 10/10 experience!! Definitely coming back and I think you should too!!

Dined tonight for our sons birthday. Our service was amazing Jonathan was perfect. Our meal was out of this world delicious. Salads on point, meatballs probably the best we've experienced. Our entrees were flavorful and desserts out of this world amazing. We lived every second of our dining experience. We high recommend you try Maggianos

Great experience everytime we come here. Our large work group definitely fills up one of their private suites and they accommodate us every time. We had the pleasure of being served by Isabel, and she was tremendously wonderful. She took care of us with amazing attention to detail and love! Thank you guys so much!

We haven’t dined here since the end of COVID. Our favorite Italian restaurant. Unfortunately it’s a couple hours away from our home so we don’t get here as often as we would like. As experienced in our previous visits to Maggiano’s the food and service was excellent. On the negative side we were seated near the kitchen with swinging doors coming in and out which were very noisy. In addition, traffic from the kitchen has made the carpet pretty dirty looking. The restrooms needed cleaning and resupply also. The restrooms were also dark and dingy.

Excellent service, beautiful decor but very loud and pretty crowded on a Sunday dinner time. It was a gift and much appreciated but it is pricey. Food was tasty but very fatty and not particularly uniquely prepared. The meals were a birthday gift and much appreciated as was the complimentary birthday treat brought to the table.

Their Mom’s Lasagna has always been the absolute best around! I always order it for myself and for family events. Today I ordered the lasagna and it was horrible, very dry! The manager said they have change the recipe. Well, I wouldn’t be a regular customer if this new lasagna had been the lasagna I got 2 years ago when I first ate at Maggiano’s. I’m very disappointed my To Go order was not good. The manager was very friendly and offered to replace my meal but I live 30 minutes away making it an hour long round trip. I order the lasagna on their website all the time, there should have been a note saying their recipe is different now and there’s no sauce. It’s not slightly different, it’s drastically different and not good!

Thanksgiving dinner was the worse I have eaten. I’m pretty sure the turkey was processed and came from a can , not eatable as was the stuffing. We had visited the Durham restaurant just days before for a birthday celebration had Family style for 5 and came back on Thanksgiving. I wasn’t aware there would only be a set menu and I take some responsibility for that because I didn’t check. Some of the pasta dishes are good but that meal may keep me from returning for a long time if ever. The staff waiting on us was pretty good just to many people for them to handle .

Unfortunately the customer service, including management, adversely affects this rating. We came to dinner tonight with some friends (4). We originally were placed at a table that was big enough for 2 people comfortably. Once we expressed our concerns, the staff (Jada) politely placed us at a half booth “in the lobby and directly in the breezeway of the exit doors. We felt a breeze all night. Jada was extremely pleasant however. Our waiter name was Steven. He was on top of his job in the beginning but things went south. We ordered the family style meal since we have had that several times before. Well this experience was horrible. We ordered double calamari (menu said “choose two” of the presented options. He said I think we changed the policy that you can’t have two of the same appetizers . He wasn’t sure so he had to go check. He came back and said that policy didn’t change and we were good. Eventually, we got to the entrees. We ordered lasagna, waygu beef shells and chicken fettuccini. The food was delicious HOWEVER, when we ordered a refill of the lasagna and waygu beef shells, Steven said ok. He left and came back and said they changed their policy on refills (they called it re-fires). He said now it’s $8 for the lasagna and $8 for the beef. We said. I one told us that in the beginning and he apologized. A short while later a man comes up with short and tie (his name , I learned, was KOLBY- not sure of spelling(. He was real condescending and fake apologetic. He said they changed the policy “LAST YEAR”—hmmm, that now it’s $8 PER PERSON now. He said he it would be $32 for us to get a refill of that small lasagna and $32 for the beef. Smh. We said what? No one told us that in the beginning and I explained that to the manager (KOLBY) and that’s not good customer service . He said “well we didn’t put the order in yet because I wanted to make sure you all made an informed decision”. I told him that we did, we were informed it was free, then $8.00. Now we ar ending informed a third time. Smh. I asked him what was he willing to do since it’s not our fault and the answer was obvious.. there was nothing he wanted to do. He simply asked if we wanted to pay $64 for those two small refills. I could have ordered it individually and paid less. Smh. We sis don and he the. Said the desserts are on the way!! No customer service whatsoever. He went to the cash register and spoke with Steven (steve was exceptionally humble and helpful just wrong a couple of times which I attribute to poor training). 8 do a lot of food critics and reach thousands of people and the reviews and my videos will say DONT GO TO Maggianos. ITs unfortunate that our experience went south and the manager had no concern for our disappointment. I see why Steven made didn’t have training if the managers threatened of our concerns were any indication of their training process. . Sorry for the long Review but I had to let the world know… avoid Maggianos . Maybe they will value customers experiences a little more I the future .

Atmosphere is great, service is horrible. The server was warm and friendly to the tables around us—she introduced herself, asked about allergies, and checked in during the meal to see how the food was. But she skipped only our table. When we ordered, she gave no explanations or introductions at all. Throughout the whole meal, she had a cold attitude and never checked on us. Would never go again.

Served in chipped plates. Manager explanation was that this is normal and they have ordered new wares. Sent back the salad and was still billed for it. Would senior management please explain that this is a violation of the US health codes.

Everything was wonderful and the food delicious until the waitress came by and literally DROPPED her checkout tool on the table and walked off. She didn't even ask if we wanted dessert (they have the best tiramisu!). We had 2 gift cards from my husband's vendor and they wouldn't honor 1 of them. We had planned to spend much more than the $120 in gift cards we had with dessert. I'm sure my husband will tell the vendor who may think twice next Christmas about spending $1000s for gift cards here for his customers ...... It's sad service has gotten like this at restaurans. I love maggianos but it's gotten very over priced and as always over salted with shrinking serving sizes. We'll most likely not come here again when we come to SouthPoint .. too bad.

We visit this restaurant regularly and have noticed a decline in the overall experience. My wife and I both work in the service industry so we do understand that busy times mean slower food times. Having said that, our server was very unprofessional, commenting on my wife’s work attire. We welcome small talk from anyone but not as if we know each other from the neighborhood. We noticed head scratching from our server while he talked to us at the table and our dirty plates were not removed in a timely manner. The food was sub standard in flavor. I had a dish that has cut potatoes and some were undercooked while others were cooked perfectly. My wife said she needed to ad salt and pepper for taste which is very uncharacteristic for Maggiano’s. We will give this location another chance but our Valentines dinner was not very special this year.

We visited here from out of town to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary. It was around 3 pm and there obviously were numerous empty tables but still there was a 45 minute wait for a table! Hosts were slow acknowledging us in the line to give our name and there was only one small bench for the many people waiting to sit. My husband was forced to stand with a hip replacement. Those at the host stand were continually arguing amongst themselves. We finally got called but they only had us as a party of two instead of three. We specifically asked for a somewhat quitter seat, more intimate when giving our name. Instead they sat us by a busy window with shoppers constantly walking by and a party of at least 20 people on the other side. They were loud. The server hardly came by to refill our bread or drinks. They dimmed the lights so low we could barely see the menu nor our food when it came! I was using the little table light to read my menu. The server actually left it sitting on one of the seats when we were seated-it’s a good thing one of us didn’t sit on it!! Then they put that dirty thing on the table after being where people put their bottoms!! The server literally moved it to the center of the table in spite of me having it by my menu and visibly using it to read. After three times of him moving it, I had to sternly say, “I’m using that to try and see the menu! The family style meal was what we wanted but were told we couldn’t get it unless there were four people. So we resorted to fillet mignon at $41 each! It came with no salad or choice of vegetables! Mine came raw in spite of ordering my normal medium rare. My husband’s shriveled up and dry and visibly smaller than mine which was extremely small. The asparagus it came with was crunchy and raw. This place is a literal joke. I’ve been raised with fine dining and have worked in the food industry and this was the worst ever. The window we were at also had food smeared all over it that nobody took the time to clean. When we’re spending that kind of money and then you request an 18% tip on top of the $150, it should be near to perfect. Service was so slow after waiting to be seated that we discussed leaving after only receiving the drinks and rolls to go across the street to Firebirds or the Cheesecake Factory. We never intend to go back!
