Best place in Eagle Pass to have some Mexican dishes, desserts are also great. The restaurant is beautiful on the inside and the personnel is polite and helpful. I always go back whenever I'm in Eagle Pass.

Weekends are very crowded and expect a long wait after 5PM till closing. Weekends order your steaks more done than you would normally order. Our favorite night to go are Monday through Thursday.

This place tries to be fancy, but if you look close at the decor everything is covered in layers of dust. The food is ok, but the service is slow. They will usually sit you fast but the wait staff is slow to check on you.

I do a good number of reviews on Google, and this place, for the hype, did not impress me. The food is good and the service was good. The hype is probably that it's the best-looking restaurant in Eagle Pass. My steak was cooked the way I wanted. I ordered the Tampiquena.

Okay the food was outstanding! But everything else, was lacking... the table was filthy, the chairs are filthy. Our waiter wouldn't give us the time of day, from the way he acted (and being a waitress in the past myself) I could tell he thought we weren't gunna tip well, so we didn't get much of his attention. But we did however get lots of help from a busboy, who did get a fat tip from us. I also don't think they even put alcohol in my drink, I had to ask for an extra shot, which made the drink taste right. I was disappointed in that, who comes to a Mexican restaurant to get a non-alcoholic margarita?? I'd like to go again, but I don't want to be treated like that. I guess I'll try not to look so redneck, I might get a little respect.

The place is pretty, but that’s about it. We took a trip to Eagle Pass this weekend for our anniversary and decided on this restaurant since it was listed as “the best” fajitas in town. When we got there, they sat us quickly, but after ordering our drinks, they made us move as according to the waitresses, the table was already reserved even though no one sat there anyways We waited at a new table for about ten minutes to even get a waiter to come, but also none seemed to understand English. After a long wait for the amount of people there, the fajitas were not as expected. They say it’s Angus beef, and that isn’t what they gave us. They were cut very thin and cooked too long that they were very chewy. The beans were very good. A lot of the male waiters seemed friendly even with the language barrier, but most, if not all, female waitresses had stank faces, and the hostesses didn’t seem friendly. I would not recommend this place for the price. Find something better with the money where the staff is at least glad you’re dining in their facility.

Today 1/2/2026. Our waitress was candice V. Was not very attentive. Did not bring chips and salsa and had to ask the hostess for chips and salsa. Ran out of my water and she didn’t come to offer anymore water/ beverage and had to drink water from my spouse’s glass. My enchiladas were dried. Smh. Waitress needs to be more attentive and less talking with bar folks.

We’ve come here for years when visiting my in-laws. This was always my favorite restaurant in the area. I’m not sure what’s happened to the quality of the meal, but it’s not the same and has really gone downhill. My husband always gets the Monterey Chicken and the rest of us get shrimp or fish tacos. My husbands potato was cold and the chicken dried out. I like hot but tonight the salsas were ghost-pepper type hot. Tacos were just not right. So disappointing. Not the same. Not sure we’ll be back.

The tampiqueña plate was good, and the enchiladas rojas were a little bit bland. The flavor of the chile for the enchilada was there, but no, that good. The grill panela cheese is a great appetizer, and the ambiance is a little too dark it just needs some more light. Service was not good that day, and it was not as busy as usual. I requested napkings to 3 employees, and no one will bring them. I just went to the bar and grabbed some. Food is usually great, and I guess it depends on the day and the staff that is there to have a good service.

I stayed a night in Eagle Pass and was looking for a steak. Based on reviews I went to Parrilla San Miguel and ordered a 8 oz Tenderloin rare. What I got was probably all but not near a 8 oz fillet. It was 2 thin slices meat and rare was cooked well done. I got it changed to a Ribeye but cooking was not great. All in all I would not recommend the place. Chips were packed in plastic and not crispy, the drink was lacking taste because it was a premix, food in my case was to forget. Maybe their Mexican food is better. The place was crowded but looks a bit run down. The pictures show what I get and what I would expect.

I ordered steak to go. Didn't realize until I got home that the box also contained shrimp, which I am allergic to. (Yes, I picked up the correct order with my name on it). Without time to go back I just had to go hungry. I won't risk going there again.

We placed a telephone order for a tampiqueña Ribeye VERY WELL DONE and they served it RAW and my husband didn't realize it until he reached the middle portion of the steak. All the center and bottom half was raw. We took it back and a "manager" named LAURA refused to replace or exchange it because my husband picked at the well done portion of the steak. She, however, offered to take that semi eaten ribeye and throw it back on the same grill as other customer's steaks and food. That's not sanitary nor ethical! She humiliated and berated him in front of many customers with her snotty remarks about how everyone likes their steak differently and offended my husband for liking his steak well done even though she stated she wouldn't eat it raw either. His steak was raw! She refused to make it right and refused to provide him with the contact information for her supervisor or the owner. When he asked her why she stated because they don't care, they don't want any of the customers contacting them. This restaurant is a place where we go to often and spend countless hours and amounts of money for birthday celebrations, special occasions, and our weekly family dining. This place has disappointed us beyond recovery. And it's okay because Laura made it very clear that they don't care. Luis took the order correctly, as evident by the receipt, but a cook decided to rush the steak and serve it raw. Ashley willingly and shamelessly delivered Laura's messages to us by telephone and when my husband went in person, Laura in the flesh humiliated him and belittled his taste for a well done steak. That's okay. One day they will be sitting at the other side of the dining table with raw meat.
