My East Aurora go to. When I want food but dont want to get dressed up, this is my place. I have yet to order anything i did not like and they have great on the rocks margaritas. You wont be disappointed by their food! Atmosphere is a little odd being in an old Burger King building but doesnt change the way the food taste! Also not expensive like E.A. can be.

If I would give Las Brasas Grill more than 5 stars I would! My mother does not eat Mexican food very often. When she ordered her meal it came totally different than expected. She was going to suffer through it, she told the waiter it was totally fine. He took it on himself to bring her the meal she was expecting, amazing customer service! Our food was also delicious, we will definitely back.

Just enjoyed a terrific take out meal. 2 of us ate our fill with GREAT food, at a very reasonable price. It's light years ahead of the "Mexican" food sold at the M***** T*** a few hundred feet away at the East Aurora Plaza. Better food, more of it, and by the time you're done, no more expensive. Easily worth 6 stars!

Excellent meal. Friendly staff. I'm not sure what the older lower reviews are here. It was much better food for the money than other dine in or take out places around. Neat wooden seating inside. Plus you can eat outside.

Excellent food. Nice patio area with great service. Our waiter was just the right level of attentive. Fair price with good portions. The wife really liked the jalapeño margaritas.

S

I love their food and it's spicy too the way I like it.

C

Food is decent, service is slow even when we are the only ones sitting outside. Frozen margaritas were mostly ice cubes and flavoring, no alchol. I suggest they better train their waiters and actually add alchol to their drinks

I highly recommend Las Brasas Grill. One of my favorite dishes is the Enchiladas Mexicanas. The serving sizes are perfect and the entrees are delicious. This family-owned restaurant is wonderful, authentic, and I give them a 5 out of 5 for the quality of food and dedicated service. Thank you!

Great spot for Mexican food...way better than most in the area. Very reasonable prices and the staff are very friendly and attentive. I'd go more often if I lived close by. I'm working my way through the menu and everything I've had has been awesome!

They never miss. Period. This is my happy place I come almost once a week and by now I've had to eaten atleast 50 meals, every single time its amazing. The service is super friendly and quick!!! Junior is awesome and the rest of the wait staff are fantastic. Bruv the food is the best in the state. Be like Mike just do it get the grilled fajita burrito, or the quesidilla or enchiladas mexicanas honestly whatever you get will be fire. You've read enough go now get your car keys and prepare to have the best meal of your life.

This is a new place that me and Tammy had just recently found in East Aurora. We went on Saturday afternoon and there were only two other tables taken at that time but this was after lunch and before dinner. Actually that is when we like to go out to eat. The service was good the food was good the Ambiance was nice we will probably be going back. The only negative thing I could say about it cuz it's about 14 miles from my house so it's a ways away but we'll go anyway. They are located just south of the traffic circle in East Aurora.

I had the best time at Las Brasas Grill in EA the other night. The food was delicious, fresh, and hot. I love the service and definitely recommend to anyone. The food was definitely authentic. This place is family-friendly and amazing.

Las Brasas is a great restaurant for group/family style meals! Staff is friendly and the food is really good. Authentic Mexican cuisine, love the simplicity and combinations on their menu. The flautas and Chile relleno are excellent

Everything was wonderful. Jess was our waitress and she was so nice and on top of things. Hard to find a decent Spanish meal in Buffalo, so I will definitely be traveling back to East Aurora to eat here. Took some tamales to go and I'm so excited to share. Overall good experience!

Great staff, great food. Great selection of drinks if you'd like a refreshing, alcoholic drink. Great beverage selection as well, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, tea, regular and pink lemonade, etc. First they bring out tortilla chips and salsa and take your drink order. The salsa is delicious, has a little kick so it's not overly spicy, even I can handle it and this coming from someone that cannot handle spicy, it's perfect! Had the taco salad and it was delicious as well. I didn't know that guacamole and sour cream came on top but I took out and it didn't ruin it. If you don't want it on top, ask them if they can put it on side. What I did instead is mixed in a little salsa with a little sour cream. Will definitely come back, I'd like to try the fiesta salad without onions if possible, next time! Also, after filling up on some of the tortilla chips, I couldn't finish my taco salad and will munch on that later (:

The food here is consistently tasty. The fajitas are as huge as they are good- and come with an equally large plate of fresh lettuce, guacamole, sour cream, rice and beans. The burrito California is bigger than your head, but so good that you just have to push through the pain to finish it. The restaurant is clean and I’ve never had to wait for my food. All in all, I’ve always had positive experiences here.

I was in East Aurora for the fall festival and wanted some Mexican food. This place was referred to me by an employee at Vidler's, so I decided to try it. It was very good, and I liked the fact that you can order certain menu items ala carte, as I just wanted a couple of items (enchiladas, tacos, burritos are also available ala carte), as I wanted room for dessert - which was Mexican Fried Ice Cream, which I love and which was very good! You usually don't see ala carte items, where you can just order one of each item, and this is one of the reasons I'll return to this restaurant for sure. Chips and salsa were very good, too. I do recommend this place.

I am from California and trying to find good Mexican food in the Buffalo area is not an easy task. I could eat at Las Brasas Grill every day. The food is excellent and so full of flavor. My whole family loves it too. So happy to have found this gem!!!

Oh my word! We loved it! The salsa was the first hit! Than we ordered from the lunch menu! Another hit! Our waitress Melina was very attentive and timely with our drinks/refills! Meals were hot and soooo tasty. You know you've hit a home run when you leave with a 22oz salsa to go with chips!! We will be back!

WOW!! we were in the area from Pittsburgh PA for a long weekend of sightseeing and relaxing and decided to give this place a try. Possibly the ABSOLUTE BEST Mexican restaurant I've been to, no exaggeration. It has your typical menu items, all at great prices! The salsa was PHENOMENAL and the girls working in the front and waiting tables were very very professional!! Cant wait to come back!!

I’ve been enjoying excellent meals since they opened. In fact, I would say that I dine or take out at least once a month. Of course, the food is the primary reason why someone would frequent a restaurant, but the consistency of the quality is the key. Needless to say, I can’t remember a single sub-par experience. I’ve tried many dishes here and they have all excelled my expectations. There are two specific entries that really separate Las Brasas from any other Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. The El Fogon burrito infuses spices and sauces reminiscent of the California style. It was one of my early go-tos and still is. Then came the Chimi-Mole; the shining star of the menu. The mole sauce is by far the best I’ve ever tasted. It’s not too smoky and really compliments the other ingredients instead of overpowering them. It’s an unassuming place. It doesn’t go crazy on decorations. If you’re looking for a large, flashy bar, look elsewhere. But if consistently delicious Mexican food served by some of the finest and friendliest staff is what you are after, I can’t recommend this place enough!

Let me tell you, this place is so Fantastic !! The food is delicious, and I'm a very picky person when it comes to my protein ! The servers are outstanding. If I knew their names I would give them a shout out ! Ambiance is comfortable. Never had a bad meal ! As a matter of fact, no one who I've ever dined with there have ever had a bad meal ! The salsa comes in a carafe with monkey dishes you can pour for your own . Nice touch along with the chips. Don't pass up an opportunity to dine there. You'll find it to be one of your new favorite spots !!

Some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. Everything is always made quickly and tastes great every time. Whether you dine in or take out you are going to have a good meal at a really decent price since you will probably have some leftovers when you are done.

Have been here twice in the past few days. My only complaint is that the menu is very big and a bit hard to navigate, however, service is fast, polite and accommodating. Chips come out fresh and still warm. The burrito entrees I have had have been quite sizable and very good (cheese sauce is great!). Very authentic Mexican cuisine at a reasonable price. Will be returning soon.

Las Brassas is, in my opinion, one of the best Mexican restaurants in WNY. The food is absolutely wonderful and service is always great. The atmosphere is typical of the type. Chimechongas are amazing but my favorite is the Flouta. Please excuse my spelling. The prices are great given the rise in pricing everywhere. If you are out in East aurora looking for Mexican don't pass them up.

After seeing reviews about the service I was skeptical. There was no reason. Service was very prompt, slightly delayed due to a new cook, but worth it. Went with three other people and we were all pleased. Got a variety of different things and it was all fantastic. Only complaint (not really a complaint) was there could be a little more heat, personal taste. For a remodeled Burger King, they made it feel like they've always been there. If you're in town and in the mood for Mexican, give it a shot. Prefer this to other near by Mexican restaurants.

I was blown away by my food. Both my boyfriend and I ordered off of their special menu and our food was perfect. My only complaint would be the guacamole wasn't salty enough, but that's not really that big of a deal because I understand not everyone likes salt as much as I do! The margaritas were delicious, we ordered a pitcher, very reasonably priced. I will say, if you are a person who gets cold easily, don't sit in the booths close by the window, which probably goes without saying. The staff were all very friendly and kind! Plus the decor is very charming. I will absolutely be back, and if you're craving some Mexican food and don't want to break your bank, this is the place for you.

I visited this restaurant this afternoon for lunch after a friend had recommended that I try the veggie quesadilla. This quesadilla was filled with fresh grilled veggies on a spinach tortilla & queso with several sides to enhance the dish. The staff were very pleasant. Looking forward to my next visit in the future.

My husband and I always get the chicken spinach nachos. Only thing we've had there because they're so good so we don't even get anything else. Only thing is we've had a couple instances when paying with cash where they didn't give us our change (actually change meaning cents) back which is strange. Friend got the tacos in pic and said they were also good

Clean nice large newer restaurant and parking lot included on site. We visited for lunch. Actually it must have been a slow day since we were the only two people in the resturant. We were greeted immediately seated at a comfortable clean booth. Server greeted us with a smile after waiting a short period of time. Drink orders were placed. My cocktail was the frozen strawberry margarita. I was asked if I wanted the small or large I ordered the large. HUGE! but believe me nothing went to waste. Chips and salsa were served with drinks. Salsa was a nice thick mixture with just the right amount of a bite. Chips were nice and fresh and both were complimentary. I ordered the taco variety. Chicken beef pork. Which came with a nice hot side dish of what looked and tasted like home made refried beans. Rice was nicely cooked soft mexican rice and not sticky. I highly reccomend the tacos and margarita. Thank you Las Brasas Grill we look forward to our next visit

I really enjoyed my dining experience here. Our waitress was very friendly, and she arrived with a big smile on her face. I ordered the flautas dinner and they were crispy and delicious! The little pieces of steak that came on the side were delicious and tender. My friend ordered the Enchiladas verdes and the green sauce was delicious. We also had the Texas Margaritas and the flavor was very good. Overall we were extremely pleased with our experience.

My cousin had recommended this place to me and I remained an open mind because well I have never been to a Mexican Restaurant before and i was definitely impressed. The decor was on point. The first thing I tried was some chips with salsa. When I tell you the salsa was delish it was indeed! I love the little kick of spice and flavor. It is unlike any salsa I had ever had. Could tell it was homemade! To drink I had a raspberry Ice tea and it came in a big cup you'd think of beer lol in the cartoons and movies. For lunch I had The Enchilada Supreme special which was the Enchilada, The rice, and a salad that had sour cream on it. Very authentic indeed. Speaking of authentic, my cousin had a steak with the vegetables and as a side there was rice, salad, and delicious mashed up beans with cheese. The beans were rich and creamy and I very much enjoyed that as well. I'd recommend this place to everyone visiting NY looking for some real mexican food. I plan on going back for my birthday which is on March 25! Thank you Las Brasas Grill!

The tastiest Mexican fare I have ever had. Clean dining room, spotless restrooms, and very pleasant wait staff. Now to the food. Attached are pics of my dishes. I had chicken and shrimp in a mango pepper sauce. I will be using my taste-memory to try and make this at home. My partner had a similar dish and was very pleased with it. Interestingly, it occupies a defunct Burger King building but you can't really tell. If you're in the East Aurora, NY area you will definitely want make a meal stop here. The salsa roja is incredible with the house made tortilla chips!!!!

Thank you Elise ! Our server and meal were the Best I've had in a long time :) The price is right, the portions plentiful, and it all tasted great. I highly recommend the spinach and chicken nacho appetizer ! It was enough for 2-3 people and the flavir superb. I had a burger with bacon, etc on a sesame seed bun, and i nearly cried when it came with 'crinkle' cut fries. How awesome. And the meal came out in perfect time, not too fast or slow. A Great Meal and the staff was too. [The ONLY thing i would recommend...fixing/leveling the tables]

Las Brasas Grill, while it's located in a former Burger King location, you quickly forget about that. This is because the margeritas are delicious, the chips and salsa are very tastey, and the food is VERY YUMMY!!! I highly recommend dining in.

One of our favorite places in EA to go to. The only reason for 4 stars is because the service can be touch and go depending on what server you have. We have had just about all of them, and know what to expect with each one. The drinks are just ok. There is no Bartender so they could use a few pointers on making drinks. The food is outstanding and will continue to go as frequently as we can

Edit: we've gone back 3 times since writing this review. We were seated right away, service was quick and friendly, the food is wonderful, and the price is right. It's becoming one of our regular spots, and I'm just going to chalk up our earlier visit to a bad night. Original review: There were two open tables, and we waited at least 5 minutes while multiple servers passed by without a single one speaking to us. It smelled good, but we left.

It's a good authentic Mexican restaurant you can get text mex as I like to call it but also some more traditional items. They have a solid kids menu. We usually get the mole chimichanga and we adore it. Great enchiladas and burritos as well. I would give a 5 but every now and then the quality is not horrible but not the level they are usually at. It's not it's normal level.

A
Alan Percy

Was really impressed. A locally owned and operated quality Mexican restaurant with a really diverse menu (including Mole!) Ordered the Tacos Supreme platter for $12.99 and loved it - it's enough food for two people! That and a 16oz draft for under $20+tip. I'll be back.

Good food and decent one person for the whole restaurant service. The server was all business and a no nonsense type person. We saw her quickly and briefly. The order was correct and my wife's food was delicious. My food was surprisingly underwhelming, not bad just adequate and forgettable. The chicken for example lacked the seasoning usually associated with Mexican food. It tasted like boiled chicken. The chips were stale but the salsa was outstanding.

Had the Carne Asada with shrimp. Initially had low expectations but it was good! Juicy flank steak and fresh guacamole. Rice was a bit dry. Otherwise good Mexican restaurant.

Overall I would rate this a 3.5, in lieu of that being an option I rated them a 4 as to not overly ding them. I’ve never had bad food here, but I’ve also never had food I’m in a rush to have other people try. Some meals have been better than others, and I think consistency may be an area for them to work on. The food is served in gracious portions and I often find myself bringing home a heavy left over container of food I couldn’t finish. I will also mention that I found my margaritas the last few times to be on the plainer side. Note- I’m not one of those people who needs to taste the alcohol and get punched in the face by it, but there does seem to be a heavy amount of ice lately leaving the remaining space for liquid limited.

K
K M P

Your typical Mexican restaurant food with meats, rices and sauces in a million combinations. Nothing spectacular. We were served promptly. The chips were freshly cooked. It sounded like their roof was going to fall in with a very loud air conditioning unit.

T
Tom Miller

Not bad for a local Mexican restaurant. First time we went they didn't have a liquor license but now they do. Best to find a table against the windows as there's a lot of foot traffic if you get put toward the middle. Prices are reasonable and hoping this place sticks around and continues to improve. Of the two local Mexican restaurants I would say Arriba at the other end of the village has the edge over this place right now.

B
Buffalo SabresLoyalist

Our server was sweet, and attentive. The salsa was good, pureed enough to stay on the chips! Dinner was prompt. The rice was incredibly bland, pinkish-red with no sign of onions, peppers or veggies. The black beans I requested when my dish was only accompanied by rice, were hot and had more texture than refried, but had no seasoning, they seemed to be heated, canned beans. The main course, a beef burrito and a chicken fajita, were hot! The burrito was a good size, it stayed wrapped, had good flavor and was enjoyable. The fajita was better! The chicken was tasty! I just wish the chicken hadn't been so wet when the fajita was folded, it made the shell very slimy and it had to be eaten with a fork and knife because picking it up was not an option, it was very drippy. My dates meal is a mystery! He consumed it so quickly, he was very pleased with the taste, texture and flavor of the shrimp enchiladas! They smelled divine! The salad was small but nice, and again, pink rice. We'll go again, it was overall okay. I think lingering over chips and margaritas for a bit first, may be the best idea yet!

I've said it before, I am a Huge Mexican food fan! This place was average at best. Chip salsa was ok but not spicy at all. I asked for hot sauce on my tacos thinking it would an authentic homemade hot sauce. But what I got instead was Frank's Hot sauce. Love Frank's, but on my wings! Not on my tacos. There was a side of guacamole but it seemed more like just crushed up avocado. The chips that came with the food were definitely store bought. Likely Not coming back. In my opinion, Chipotle is more authentic! Especially for the money I spent! Lunch for one - $21.00!!

First interaction with staff was abrupt. We waited to be seen approximately 5 minutes. When we went to look for someone, when we saw a staff member he told us to wait at the sign and someone will seat us. The general areas were no clean. Our server was great. The food tasted great.

J
Jim C

Food was 4 star. A little different from the all the other Mexican restaurants in the area, but in a good way. Can't put my finger on it, but it was not the usual Mexican food of WNY and that is a good thing. Service was 3 star. Not remarkable in any way, good or bad. Atmosphere was 2 star. The interior looked very tired and boring. It was not inspiring at all. While the restaurant didn't look anything like the Burger King it used to be, I didn't walk in and think, "wow, I feel like I am in a traditional Mexican restaurant!" The other local Mexican restaurant does a much better job of keeping with the theme of Mexican dining. Overall, I probably won't eat here again, but the food was good enough for me to recommend the restaurant to friends to try it at least once.

C
Christine Miller

Margarita has way too much ice in it, even after scooping out ice cubes it was left with no flavor. Order was wrong, but kept it anyways because I’m the first to admit I am no connoisseur of Mexican food and I hate sending food back. I will just pay more attention next time. Glad to have choices in a small town.

William Benn

This place has gone down hill since first opening. We asked for hot sauce, since there was none on the table, and she brought out a small dish of Frank's, which is good, but definitely not a Mexican hot sauce like we get in any other local Mexican restaurant. We ordered the Molcahete for 2, which was fine, but got 3 flour tortillas, no choice of corn which we prefer, and 3 for 2 people? They also charge $3.50 if you want additional chips and salsa, every other Mexican restaurant we visit gives as much as you want while waiting for your meal. The waitress spent most of the time sitting at another table talking with coworkers and never offered to refill our drinks, and when we finished eating, we waited 10 minutes for her to come with the check. Then, she cleared off the whole table before finally bringing the check. Just disappointed based on our experiences at other places. It seems as if they really don't care about customers anymore.

This was my second time at this restaurant. The first time was 1-2 years ago with a friend. The first time was great because I ordered a meal that I did not end up eating and they took it off my order! The second time (which is today May 10th), it was good. The service was still great! I ate the food this time because I asked for light cheese. In terms of being “authentic” Mexican food, it is not especially if you have had La Tolteca’s Mexican food. The flavor of the veggie enchiladas was non-existence. The enchiladas were essentially corn tortillas with barely cooked spinach. The rice and beans were good but not as flavorful as I am used to. While, I ate the food this time around, my sister did not. However, my sister enjoyed her coconut margarita and the chips that were provided! So three stars because of the good service, I ate the food this time, and my sister enjoyed her margarita!

Not a bad meal on the outdoor deck, service was a bit slow and margaritas are heavy on the ice :( Chips and salsa were good, taco salad menu description says 'tomatoeS' but served with one half of one slice tomato??? Charged us extra for a few more tomatoes.

Decent food and drinks but slow kitchen. Kitchen staff didn't want to clean dishes at the end of the night so they served food in to go containers. This was still 2 hours before the restaurant closed. To go containers were not knife friendly. All the sauce on my dish went on my lap which was not ideal. It should not take 30 minutes to place an order and another 30 just to get water and drinks. No reason to serve food in to go containers either. This was not a busy night too. Maybe 5 tables full inside and another 5 on the patio. Plenty of staff inside standing around doing nothing. Idk if they were short staffed but this was a less than mediocre experience.

I'm big on customer service and sadly customer service was terrible. Was never offered a kid menu (had a toddler with us and I had to ask for it once I figured out she wasn't going to provide one), never offered high chair or booster seat so I had a toddler climbing every where, never told us the pop options even when mentioned that we didn't know, never offered a drink menu, never asked how was our food or if we needed anything, never offered refills.... HIGHLY disappointed since we drove 40 minutes to come. They brought the main food for the adults and the toddler had to wait 10 more minutes for their food.

I’ve been going here for the last 5 years and it has really fallen off in the last couple years. I can honestly say this place used to be great but not so much lately. My last few experiences have been mediocre at best and as of today I will never return.

I will start by saying; the servers were great. The man who was serving us was very polite and in good spirits. As far as the food, the real only seasons you tasted were cumin and garlic....on everything. If you're Mexican, you know better. I grew up in south Texas cooking and eating Mexican food everyday with my Mexican mother, and I know our food did not taste like this. The taste of cumin and garlic was in everything. Not just a small taste, but it was prominent. The sauses were greasy, salsa was sub par, but good, and after we left we had a bit of a stomach ache that evening. I can't see myself going again unless it changes things up. Also, the prices were more expensive than other restaurants surrounding it, and we had only 1 drink each.

I love Mexican food and this was the worst I’ve ever had,not all of it but some. I and my friend love salsa and chips. The waitress gave us a small dish to share and the chips were half Crumbs ( looked like the bottom of the bag or someone sat on them . They charge extra for additional salsa , I’ve never had that happen before. We both ordered chicken and beef Flautas served with some lettuce and rice which was pretty good. They do not have a side of Guacamole. There was a Guacamole appetizer so we decided to split that. Well I sure don’t know what that concoction was but if there was Avocado in it , you sure could fool me . It was horrid ! We I spoke to the waitress about it I got deer in the headlights. I will NEVER return to that restaurant. There are too many really good Mexican restaurants around to waste my money there.

We stopped there to grab lunch. one single waitress and no other customer (should have sent a message). My husband and myself shared chicken quesadilla that was acceptable. My son had three beef tacos, the shells were soft and greasy, and the taste a bit off. He should not have finish them, because he got sick almost instantly... Went to the bathroom, and he said they were filthy... he went outside to puke.... Nice experience! just don't go there... the good music is not worth it!

For a dedicated Mexican restaurant, the food is completely underwhelming. To start, they give you a tiny basket of chips for the entire table and charge $4 for refills. All 4 entrees were under cooked. Anything that was supposed to be fried barely qualified as such. The beans were watery and the shrimp tacos were soggy. The guacamole was a flavored salad dressing. There is a reason why there wasn't a wait to be seated on a Friday night when everything other restaurant in the village was packed. I would not recommend.

Good food. But the waitress came and took our order and cut my family off when they were talking from stating there order. Was to in a hurry to write down what we actually wanted. And the food came out and was wrong for the kids. Don’t get the cheese dip it watered down to nothing.

Ate here twice... once in the restaurant, once takeout. Both times myself and others that ate the food got sick after. While it might be a coincidence, it's not one I'm going to risk a third time. Both visits the staff was clearly unorganized and disinterested. Can't recommend. There are better options in East Aurora.

Please save yourself. My wife and I went here 2 weeks ago and had the worst service of any place ever. Took 45 mins to get a straw for our drinks. Then after an hour waiting we received the wrong order. Still havent gotten the straw or silverware either yet. Wow. Food finally came. Next day my wife and I woke to the worst abdominal cramps ever. Going on about 10 days and almost back to normal. Can’t say much more. Never ever again.

On Thursday October 12th went for lunch. My wife ordered a salad with pineapple and oranges. The chef forgot to add pineapple and oranges to the salad. Server didn’t offer to remake the salad, brought out a plate of pineapple and informed us that they were out or oranges. Then walked away. My dish was supposed to be a fried pork dish with a Verde sauce. Not even close. To top it off, on our way out I looked thru the window in the kitchen door, stood there for 3 minutes watching the chef pick his nose. I can’t make that up. Very disappointed.

We have eaten in the restaurant 1 time, & gotten take out 5 times. Every time we get take out it comes wrong. And not a little wrong, missing things, wrong meat entirely... the last time it took 50 minutes to get 6 tacos! 6. And they were wrong again! Missing cheese, all the veggies for one of the meals, and the chips the meals were both supposed to come with. What you get taste good, but it will take forever and what you get won’t be what you ordered...

What a disappointment! Read the reviews thought yeah we'll drive from Hamburg, well totally disappointed ordered chicken fajitas told waitress don't give the guacamole and skip the sour cream won't eat it! But can I have one extra taco she'll (order comes with 3) was charged $1.50 For one shell asked for a little extra cheddar cheese yup charged $1.50 food was ok bell peppers were in huge chunks. Manager/Waitress very unfriendly like give me your money and don't bother me!

Service was terrible. We wanted to sit at the bar for a margarita and the waitress said the bar is small and there is no bartender. Then why have a bar? Only 3 tables of customers with 3 waitresses and still super slow service. Food was just ok. The bathroom smelled awful. This sounds dramatic but all true.

Been here several times with poor service twice. While there tonignt, the person who finally took our order later claimed not to be our server when we inquired as to where our food was. This was after several tables received their orders after we had placed ours. Our food did finally arrive but we never saw a server after that. If you like being ignored, this is the place for you. We won't be back. I'd give this place less than one star if i could.

Awful experience. Waited 15-20 minutes to get a drink order placed. Chicken and veggies where over cooked. Had our food before silverware and took forever to ask someone. Waitress was super rude and not friendly. Never asked how we where doing checks (two separate parties) then it was too late to even split the check. Definitely never going back. Wasn't busy maybe 3-4 other tables with 2-3 people, our table of 7 and a table of 4. I'm a waitress myself and I could never imagine giving such bad service.

HORRIBLE/ THE WORST PLACE TO EAT. The manager/owner was so lazy when we sat down we waited a good 20-25 minutes to order our drinks and the when we did we didn’t get them for 10-15 minutes. Then when we ordered our food. 1 it was horrible and, 2. The food was brought out late. Was cold. And they charge a lot. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND. GO THERE IF YOU WANT TO NEVER EAT MEXICAN FOOD AGAIN. The Burger King was better there. I hope the manager responds to this. 😡

Short version- our waiter gave himself an extra $44 in tip . (Clearly a mistake) but management handled it poorly. Long version- I came here once a month for the last three years. Loved the food. Our last visit was subpar. The waiter dropped off food and never checked on us and took ten minutes to get our order after drinks. They weren’t busy. Honestly I chalked this up to him being new and possibly shy- so whatever. The total came to $31.90. I left a $4.10 tip for a total of $36.00. Not a great tip- but not great service, it was still 16 percent. I check my charges days later and see a charge for $80, NOT $36. The young man gave himself a $44.00 tip. I assume human error so I called the restaurant. When I called I spoke with another young man - he’s always there and he got the details and then asked the manager what to do. The young man came back on the phone and told me I have to drive the 30 minutes back to the restaurant (an hour wasted) and bring my bank statement and receipt if possible to get my refund. I didn’t have the customer copy but this all could have easily been verified by their sale system, credit card terminal or calling the terminal company to get the transactions from the day and records. I don’t even think they spoke to the waiter, whom I was told to give a physical and racial description of over the phone. Now I’ve worked in customer service for decades. The process should have been taking my name, phone number and last four digits of my credit card, noting the time I was there and our order- pulling the receipts from that day and calling the terminal company for the totals to pinpoint and verify charges and the issue. Then they should have called me back and refunded the amount that was taken (mischarged) over the phone on the terminal with my credit card by a refund or they could have mailed me a check. You don’t inconvenience a customer after you already messed up on that scale. This all could have easily been verified by the nightly accounting with terminal print out (batch out) and the original merchant copy where I hand wrote the tip in and the error would have clearly been spotted for a refund. Nope, I was told to drive an hour total and prove this. When I got there I asked them to pull the receipt, I brought in the card I used to verify the purchases. - I was told by the young women, a manager, they didn’t have the receipts in the building. How odd. Again - worked in customer service- you make copies and leave it the office or go back in electronic sales on the pos machine. They asked what the total was and I said either $36 or $37 (I wasn’t sure at the time). The manager walked away to the register where i followed and she began to quietly speak Spanish clearly about the situation to the male who answered the phone. I offered that I could tell them exactly what we had since they weren’t able to pull the receipt. She plugged it in and it still wasn’t the right total. I did recalling was $31.90. I just wasn’t sure of the tip at the time. Either 4.10 or 5.10. The manager assumed/declares that they would go with a total with tip of $37 and decided to give me $43 back in cash out of her pocket and the others waiters. She didn’t even look at me pushed her arm back towards me to take and then said “oh I’m sorry for your trouble”, clearly annoyed from my inconvenience! I now realize the total was $36 and figure that the waiter hit the four twice, $44.10 instead of just $4.10 as a tip. Silly mistake- huge hassle that cost them a loyal customer. So on top of spending an hour of my life, an hour of gas, and being made to feel that the theft of tip was their inconvenience, I also was not even given the entire sum of money and am owed by a $1 by this establishment because they couldn’t bother to pull a receipt with a days notice. I wont be back not because of the waiters mistake but because this company clearly doesn’t care about making things right with customers nor accuracy in their accounting. Speaks a lot about the business and management as a whole.

Food is decent but my meal came with a side of hair. Called the server who saw I hadn't even touched the dish she just asked if I wanted the same thing and I said yes but without the hair. Told my partner to eat before his got cold. Was disappointed that they didn't even credit my soda but didn't even apologize.

As soon as we walked in there were dirty tables as far as the eye can see. Once sat there were fruit flies and regular flies everywhere. Server was wearing sweat pants and a hoodie…. Table was sticky. Food came out it looked out of a can or box. Went to use the salt shaker to find out it was completely solidified (not sure how long that takes) and salt shaker was covered in grime and sticky as well. Kitchen workers kept staring out the window at us while we were eating… not sure how this place is still open… bathrooms were gross no soap no towels and garbage was overflowing… then couldn’t find the server to get out check someone else had to bring it.. and that’s not even everything…. Being a server I have never had such a bad experience somewhere… we will NEVER be returning….and I recommend no one else goes. It was almost a bridesmaid moment… may god have mercy on your soul…..

This place has really gone down hill. It used to be good, but after tonight my friends and I will NOT ever come back. The salsa was watery, bland and cold. The chips were cold and bland also. I ordered the carnitas with flour tortillas . They were served with soft soggy corn tortillas. The meat wasn't even seared on one side was dry, and tasted like corned beef hash. The refried beans were bland and watery. My friends enchilada red sauce tasted exactly like canned tomato sauce and his taco was tasteless. My other friend had a chicken burrito that wasn't too bad. Whoever did the cooking has no business in a kitchen. I truly don't like having to say this because I know how hard it is to run a restaurant, but this was so bad that I had to warn people. What happened? It used to be good.

FOOD POISONING! I've been here three times and the food has never been better than ok. Last night I went with my brother and not only did they screw up our order, not only was there lipstick on our glass, but after we left we had TERRIBLE food poisoning! This place is a hazard to your health.

Apparently Carne (steak) street tacos do not come with any toppings. Usually a street taco has at least cilantro and onion on it. When I approached them about the matter they said “authentic Mexican street tacos are only meat and no toppings”.
