This is my favorite spot in the neighborhood. It's got that cozy pub feel, tasty food and a great place to grab a drink, catch up with friends, or celebrate with family. We stop by for most family birthdays and occasions. We even held my mom's 60th birthday in the back room and had the whole thing catered for super reasonable cost. We held a paint and sip back there. The food is super tasty. I'm obsessed with the garlic mushrooms and I spent most of my life thinking I didn't like mushrooms! The steak tidbits are mouth watering. There are always interesting locals seated at the bar and happy groups seated around the tables. It's a great atmosphere. Owner and staff are friendly and warm.

Love going to the Stable Mates....umm I mean Cassidy's Ale House. The wings were amazing as usual, and our get together with my childhood buddies was just right in the perfect atmosphere Cassidy's provided. The bartender was very attentive and personable, and gave us friendly great table service. My younger brother comes here frequently as he has a wonderful history at this location and has known the owner for quite some time.....let's say a lifetime, which is more of a reason for me to go there as well. Great neighborhood sports bar, and a nice cozy atmosphere. Glad this place is still around!!

Awesome wings! You can get sauces on the side if your party likes different spice levels like ours does. They have honey bbq (no heat) to nuclear (most heat) so everyone is covered in the spicy range! Drinks are very good! Good variety of apps plus traditional American & Irish dishes. French onion soup is good, as are the steak tidbits, chicken dishes and shepherds pie of course! Prices are fair for the amount of food you get, not overpriced like some chain wing places.

Best wings. Cassidy's is the best hole in the wall I have ever been to. The food is so good and well priced. They just renovated so I don't know if I can even call it a hole in the wall anymore. It was very nice being there. I was happy with the cleanliness during Covid. We recently moved 40 minutes away and came back to town for the great burgers, wings, and calamari. They have my favorite wings hands down. You can sit by the bar or in a booth. Friendly service and patrons too.

Depending on your luck, you may get a good waiter like the mid-age lady, who is probably the owner too and have a great experience and good recommendations from the menu, or you can get another waiter like the younger man or the skinny mid-aged lady, who are so distracted and unwilling to even hear your order. The kitchen is great, the menu is short but choices are plenty. Food is more of a bar food, as you can expect from a bar. My favourite is the fish in white sauce. Overall nice environment for dinner and/or drinks.

LOVE THIS PLACE. Great old time pub atmosphere. The drinks and food are both good quality and very reasonably priced. Danny the waiter is amazing, almost like a personal assistant, he always has his eye out for your needs and always gets the order right. John the proprietor is extremely friendly and often present. My first meeting with John felt much like meeting and old friend. Round it out with Larry the bartender, one word............excellent. Highly recommend this place for a great evening.

Long story short I had to go from JFK to LGA on a long layover to get home and this was the latest place next to the airport open to wait until my 5am flight. We had a couple of drinks, shared a Bacon Cheeseburger with Onion Rings and Cheese Fries and it was fine. Nothing was to rave about as the drinks and food were just fine. The burger was just a bit dry and the fries were lacking a bit of flavor besides the bacon. The onion rings were really good though, perfectly fried and didn't have a bad oily flavor. The drinks were ok as well, I had an Old Fashioned that was good but it had just a little too much bitters. Our bartender was really nice, he chatted with us as we sat at the bar - mostly because there was nothing else to do since there were only two other people in the bar! All in all, it was a typical bar. It didn't necessarily stand out but it wasn't a bad restaurant either.

Servers were very discriminatory. The bar otherwise is great.

Bits & Pieces original coustomer. The area has changed, lower end class people. Not like years ago... The food is all frozen nothing home made. Still owned bye cops. Years ago the cops that went to the bar were more relaxed not like today. The menu has changed. Very expensive for low end food and nothing homemade. Looks the same almost like original place. Very few places like this in neiborhood! Why because does not call fore these type of food bars. Go to other bars like this in better pars of Queens they still exist after virus? Happy looking.....

Bartenders and waitresses are liars on specific price of things. You'll say a drink was one price and the waitress will make sure she speaks to the bartender in private before you ask the bartender that way he'll just say the price she the waistress said. So damn annoying and pathetic. Older women I'm speaking about in the early afternoon. Liar liar liar. All for what ?

I went there one time and the bar tender and an older White lady were having a conversation and the older White lady began hurling all sorts of anti-Hispanic slurs; something about someone looking like sp_c because of their sun tan. I was flabbergasted. I have never had an experience like that. It was a public place, the conversation was loud enough for others to hear, and no one batted an eye. It was like the I walked into a time warp that took me to an episode of the Twilight Zone. I can't say if it is like that all the time.

Overpriced mediocre food and place does not smell clean. The wait staff has always been nice though.

Been here a number of times (have family in the area), and never had issues, but was denied service today because I didn't have my fascist papers on me at the time (phone was dead and I leave the paper passport at home). To the quisling owner and barkeep - this won't be forgotten. Disappointed in you Cassidy's, you've lost more than a customer. You feckless collaborators have lost your honor and integrity.

Most of the time customers get ignored. And some of the eomploye create uncomfortable situation. I wish there a good manager. I don’t like to be specific about my problems with restaurant but I will because I will be checking for more time.

Really? 12/23/24. I came here to watch the green packer game and it was taken off at the last minute. Fine.. then I was playing music but the bartender decided that watching Willy Wonka was more important than my money being spent in the juke box. 80 percent Willy wonka . 20 percent money I spent on music. I left right away and never coming back. This is 100% bs. I wish I can play the audio clip I have of the jukebox vs Willy wonka. Never again.

The food is tasty, but the take out sizes are horribly small for the amount you pay. French onion soup should be a larger size. $7 for half cup size, is crazy. Half cup....that is only 4 ounces. I will not order from there again. Sizes are dreadfully small.
