Super fresh ingredients and beautiful views. .I should add that the menu was not lying when it said their turkey club is the best in the hemisphere! 😋 I was not expecting fresh roasted/warm turkey! Large portions that I could not finish and . . I had to fight my cat for the leftovers when I returned to Massachusetts. 🙄🐈 🤷‍♀️🤣

Amazing food as usual. My wife and I visited the Hellenic yesterday and got our takeout order. And everything was amazing. We travel from over an hour away to eat here so we were forced to eat in our pickup (due to COVID-19 restrictions). BUT, even still this was one of the best meals my wife and I have ever eaten! We had the Avgolemono soup, 3 different appetizers, Greek salad and entrees!! Now, you can imagine the dashboard of my truck looked like a buffet. But everything was outstanding......AS USUAL! As is the wait-staff. Wonderful service, great people and ridiculously good food! It just doesn’t get any better than the Hellenic. Hands down!! Thank you for another fantastic experience!!

I have been coming here since I was a child with my parents. My husband and I now enjoy it together. My parents now live out of state and this is always a must when they come visit. Food and service are always excellent. Marie, Lynn and Mary are some of the best waitstaff ever. A must try if you are on the north fork . I must add we are south fork residents and never hesitate to take the ride. Great family run business......stop by you won't regret it.

Never had a bad meal here. Been going here for over 40 years. As a teenager I started going there. Knew the original owner, now his son George is running the show who I've been friends for the same amount of time. I've been to Greece and Hellinics food is so much better in so many ways. They have the best of everything. Can't beat their food.

After stopping by Lavender by the bay my boyfriend and I decided to stop for lunch. We started with their homemade lemonade and the dangeraide! It’s quite dangerous 😊🤪. For an app we ordered the mini spinach rolls. Excellent! For our main dishes I got the gyro wrap hot with chicken souvlaki. The chicken was so juicy and my boyfriend can’t stop raving about the inhaler burger. It was a great escape from the heat and the staff was so nice. We’ll be back…you have made us want to come back! Thank you!

Update October 2024: Great dinner, awesome service beautiful location as always. The return again for excellent greek food was well worth the drive!! Was always a favorite of ours. Traveling out east many times to dine or even pick up take out and bring home an hour away during covid, with to go cocktails. This last time, our first dine out since covid began, we picked Hellenic knowing we would feel comfortable in the social distance norm of 2020. The restaurant was spaced out great. The waitress awesome. We got there at 7:45 pm, and they were still rocking. Unfortunately the food did not live up to the many times in past. My Greek salad with chicken was a mush of wilted lettuce, watery, and the chicken was refrigerator cold. Waitress was told. Was offered nothing in return, except new lettuce if I wanted to take anything home. My husband octopus app he loved. But if a Greek salad can't be freshly made chicken warm, and it was my meal, I was very disappointed to say the least as I have always loved it here. We had drinks, wine, apps, and dinner, so no mistaking that we did not just come and have salad. In response to George, ty for your concern, yes we had good meals as I said above driving an hour there, hour back for takeout. I felt the need to review as it was a salad, with chicken, overlooked as it was served to me. Off season or not it is yr time to shine and we picked there as I knew your social distancing would be great. Just lack of care to a salad served is bizarre to me. We have met you many times and I believe we saw you pull up in yr red truck when we left. We will ask for you next time, ty!

Have always passed this place and finally stopped in on the way to the ferry. Hands down one of the best Greek places we've been to outside of Greece. The portions are huge, service good, and outdoor area is large / relaxing. They got their start with lemonade so we had to try that as well, so refreshing (light and frothy) and not overly sweet. We ordered the Horiatiki Salata and the gyro platter. Excited to go back and try more of the menu

I’ve started to go here about 2 years ago with my boyfriend and his family. They have amazing spanakopita, sweet potato fries, gyro platters, tuna sandwiches and so much more amazing food!! This is definitely my favorite restaurant on the north fork!! We even travel 2 hours to come here!!

Hellenic Snack Bar & Restaurant is known for their delicious Greek food and homemade lemonade. They have an extensive wine list and serve beer. Their Greek salad is amazingly good and I highly recommend it. They also serve burgers, sandwiches, fish and have a great kid's menu. They have a daily special menu which often includes fresh caught, local fish. They also serve breakfast (both Greek and non-Greek options) until 11:30am. They offer gluten free items and make great custom omelets. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. This is both a great place to bring the kids or for just couples. It is usually crowded during the summer during peak times. The atmosphere here is causal and festive. They also cater events and you can order take out (8% discount on all takeout orders). During peak/busy times, it can get loud here (festive atmosphere). The local staff is friendly. They cook all meals fresh to order so the wait time to get your food is a bit longer than restaurants they precook meals.

This restaurant is a North Fork institution and second generation chef George Giannaris continues to deliver quality Greek food and innovative updates to old recipes. The staff is ever friendly and professional. And in an age of higher priced fancy restaurants, the Hellenic stays true to great family food quality and affordable prices. On a great summer day, try the spiked lemonade for sure (but make sure you have a designated driver).

I took the ferry Cross Sound Ferry to Orient Point and stopped here for breakfast on the recommendation of a good friend. The portion was excellent and tasted wonderful. The staff was very pleasant and I really enjoyed taking a break from my travels. The place has been around for about 40 years and only a quality establishment could pull that off. The have neat gift shop where you can buy one of the owners books. I don't do reviews often, but this place was worth the effort.

Absolutely the best lamb gyro sandwiches ever. Lemonade is perfect blend of fresh squeezed lemons pulp included. This one is a don't miss with indoor and outdoor seating. A full menu of the most authentic Greek food!!!We have been eating there for decades!!!!

My family had a delicious brunch on the patio here. Service was excellent as was the food. The landscaping is beautiful. I especially recommend the frappe and babka French toast.

J

Food was excellent, and service spectacular. Generous portions of authentic Greek cuisine bought out in what only seemed which like minutes after ordering - on a Saturday night! Various Greek side dishes and main courses all were exceptionality good. Place is very pleasant for what I'd call "upscale casual." Think many casual style restaurant owners should visit this place to see how it should be done!

We love everything about the Hellenic and are so fortunate to be in walking distance whenever we need a good healthy meal. The menu is rich with choices, but I'm so in love with the Horatiki salad with chicken souvlaki that I barely try the other options! So fresh and delicious! What do they do to that salad dressing?! My husband loves the sandwiches, the turkey BLT, the Norm! All great. If we get a chance to treat ourselves to breakfast, that menu is absolutely divine. If I'm feeling like a treat, I go for the homefries(bacon bits!), and if I want to be on the healthier side, that yoghurt parfait was made in heaven! Don't forget to order the lemonade--holy yum! As if the food isn't enough to get you in, everyone in the staff is so wonderful; it may just be why we keep going back for more!

Always a great meal! Was just there on Friday and had an amazing meal! They can accommodate gluten free because George, the owner is also gf! In fact he now makes his own gf pita bread which is hands down the best pita I’ve had! The turkey club is the best! And they make their own gelato! Yum! Rumor has it, their son is even going to culinary school!!!! So looks like we’ll have amazing food for more years to come! Thank you for amazing meals and for always taking care of me with my to go orders Maria and George!!!

We love the Hellenic Diner. We've been coming here for 8 years. The food is terrific, service great, and there is a very special warm feeling about the place. My daughter LOVES the pita and tzitziki. The lemonade is awesome!! Great for family dinning!!

This was our first time on the North Fork and, since we love Greek food, we reserved a table at The Hellenic. The food was terrific, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The waitress helped guide us through an extensive wine list...I highly recommend the sampler which comes with 4 mini carafes. We will certainly return the next time we're in the area

I have been going to the Hellenic Snack Bar for well over a decade. It has elevated the years of my life by providing such a warm and welcoming setting to many a meal with my beloved family and friends. The food is always absolutely delicious with such a gracious serving size that you never leave wanting more except for more lemonade! The lemonade has been a constant craving throughout the years, I can never only have just one! The Hellenic Snack Bar truly is a gem of the North Fork of Long Island, it would be a mistake to pass on one of their extraordinary meals.

If I could give more stars, I would, unfortunately google only allows for 5 or less. But onto my review, well what can I say that hasn't been said already. The food is beyond amazing, always so fresh. The staff, so friendly and welcoming. Their Avgolemano is ridiculously delicious, I could eat it for every meal everyday. I'm not a huge Lemonade fan, but and that is a BIG but, The Hellenic's lemonade is a drink you absolutely cannot pass up. The owners are absolutely amazing, friendly welcoming and loving. I wish I lived closer, I'd be at this restaurant every night. Cannot wait till I dine there again.

I have been driving past this establishment for many years now when traveling to Orient Point, but never had the pleasure of trying it until today. This is an amazing spot to enjoy great Greek cuisine. From when we were greeted by a very friendly lady, and the amazing waitress who served us, our palates were satisfied with culinary magic. Simply stated, amazing.

We have driven past this place for years and finally came in! The food was outstanding - everyone at the table got something different and each of us felt we had the best thing on the table. Our server, Luca, preempted all of our needs and even though we ordered approximately 1000 rounds of drinks, he kept things going with a smile. The outdoor seating has a beautiful view of the flowers & tons of seating! Strongly recommended - come in and enjoy!

I can not say enough good things about our breakfast experience at Hellenic Snack Bar & Restaurant last week! It started by being seated next to a very welcoming fireplace, on a chilly Sunday morning! Luka, our server, was incredibly nice, and extremely attentive! There were four of us in our party, and we each ordered something different. I had the babka raisin french toast, which was out of this world delicious! The food was really fresh, and the presentation was delectable! The coffee was so good, too! We each enjoyed our choices immensely, and we all cleaned our plates! The prices were reasonable, also. We can't wait to return again for lunch or dinner, and bring other friends and family along! Thank you so much!

Stumbled upon this place while we were on Long Island. It is a beautiful building with an extensive menu featuring Greek favorites and an impressive dessert lineup. It is not cheap but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for: large portions of fantastic, authentic Greek food. The horiatiki, pastitsio, and baklava were all home runs. Highly recommended.

Stopped at the restaurant on early September weekend. The place lived up to its good reviews, appetizers and chicken souvlaki were pretty good. Spanakopita was one of the best I ever tried. Convenient and ample parking onsite.

After spending all day at the beach & pool, came here for a late lunch with the family. The hostess was very attentive, seated us where we wanted. Our waitress, Kimberly, was excellent. Extremely personable, patient with our order, kept checking on us, service with a smile. (Even with a mask) Big portions, tasty food. Definitely recommend this place. :)

Where do we go when we want the best, freshest, home-cooked delicious authentic Greek meal? Where do we go to receive a warm welcome, to dine alfresco, to feel like we're "away," to relax over a leisurely meal that feels like home? Hellenic Snack Bar, of course! I've been enjoying generous meals there for yes, well over three decades and counting... and I can't wait for our next visit. The menu has continued to offer the best of traditional favorites while introducing the most appealing and creative new creations. Long Live the beloved Hellenic Snack Bar

My family and I had the most amazing dinner. Their braised short ribs were incredible. My son downed their signature Inhaler Burger with gusto. My wife's striped bass was extraordinaire. This is a North Fork landmark not to be missed. We've been frequenting this consistently excellent restaurant for 15 years and have never been disappointed. You will enjoy dinner.

We got a huge takeout order for work, they were meticulous and got everything right (18 people). So many people said it was the best Greek food they had ever had! I always love them, I'm never disappointed in anything I order, so it was nice that my coworkers loved them just as much!

I am a north forker enjoying the leisurely atmosphere of this fork. I have been coming here for 30 years and have never been disappointed. The food is always cooked to perfection and authentic as the owners are true Greeks. You’ll unfortunately always find obnoxious, demanding people who expect that the world revolves around them.

I’ve been going here my entire life (I’m 36). Family owned and extremely friendly staff. Food is always amazing and they seem to always be evolving and making the outdoor space nicer. We had my dads 70th birthday party there on the outdoor patio and it was such a beautiful day. We chose certain things from the menu for food and they made a gorgeous cake. Their food is always delicious and the lemonade is the best ever. I have so many childhood memories running around in the grass while we waited for our dinner and it was really fun to take my own kids there yesterday and see them doing the same. I’m more nostalgic than most but seriously do not miss going here if you’re in the area...this place is a diamond. ❤️

I love the Hellenic! I’ve been eating there for 25 years and I’ve never had a bad meal! The service is always excellent. My favorite dish is the octopus. You have to try it. It’s amazing with a nice glass of white. The gyros are also superb!

The food was fantastic and the service was great, the staff could not have been any nicer, especially Luca! I'm looking forward to dining here again, hopefully soon! Awesome bar area, indoor and outdoor dining. Local beers available. And the BEST homemade gelato!

What a delightful find in East Marion - worth the side trip if you're in Greenport or Orient. The mouth-watering cabinet of Greek desserts next to the case of gelato being fresh churned is a big temptation. But the appetizers and main courses are worth the trip as well. The hummus was excellent as was the Spanokopita and Falafel burger. Plenty of seating inside and out.

If you like authentic Greek food or simply Fresh & Delicious food you will love the Hellenic Snack Bar. They make the very best tahini sauce, hummus, falafel & LEMONADE. Do not forget to get a lemonade! 🍋 During my visit I had a hummus appetizer & a falafel sandwich to-go (just ask for tahini sauce instead of the yogurt sauce to make it vegan). The sword fish sandwich (burger) is tastefully simple. I highly recommend it though I would recommend a chipotle sauce as an option to give it some kick. The service was great and the portions were decent. If you are near by stop and take a break!

Love the food here. It’s pricey, but so delicious and nutritious that it’s worth it! The power bowl is our favorite. My husband gets it with chicken, lamb or salmon and I get it with falafel and it’s just so good. The house-made lemonade is the absolute best lemonade ever.

George and his family hosted me and my family for the dinner following my mother's Celebration of Life. My mom and our family shared many happy meals at the Hellenic, and it so it was the perfect location to host those who attended her Celebration. George, Maria and their team took great care of my family and the friends of my mom. The food was excellent, the service was attentive and everyone who attended was very pleased and comfortable. Thank you, George, Maria and the great staff of the Hellenic for making a very difficult day for my family the best that it could possibly be. We are all very thankful. Sincerely, Chris

The food was BUSSIN ong. The lamb chunks gyro is goated. Now that I’ve had it all other Greek restaurants are mid. I would drive the 2 hours to get it and I’ve done it before. The owner is a gigachad too he buys the best ingredients and his aura is 100%. Idc how much it costs I’m getting that lamb gyro. This restaurant mogs the competition frfr

Driving from Mount Sinai isn't exactly around the corner, but Hellenic is always worth the ride. Earlier today my wife and I did takeout and had the pleasure of seeing Heidi at checkout once again. She was our first waitress back in the day, and lucky us, she packed up our order. Her warmth, charm, enthusiasm, and deep knowledge of the restaurant are unmatched, and she kindly let us know that Hellenic will be closing soon for a winter break and reopening in mid-February. Hellenic is truly our happy place. I've literally been driving past this spot since 1976, and only in the last year did I finally stop in and discover what I now consider the best Greek restaurant from Manhattan to East Marion and all points in between. The food is consistently outstanding, and the wait staff have been charming and professional time after time. A sincere thank you to George and his late Father, for creating and maintaining this diamond of an establishment. Looking forward to many more visits in the years to come. Brian Jude Loiacono

If you’re looking for authentic Grecian food look no further. A tad on the expensive side but you get what you pay for. It’s hard to find fried calamari with skordalia and not marinara. That alone makes me come back over the years. The only word of warning I would give is that they don’t have the staff to handle all of the tables when they’re full. If your waiter/waitress is making drinks for other tables too don’t expect to see them for a bit.

Review for Hellenic – East Marion, NY We were absolutely delighted with our visit to Hellenic! The wide selection of gluten-free dishes was outstanding – the food was incredibly delicious, fresh, and clearly prepared with great care and authenticity. The staff were extremely knowledgeable about gluten-free options and took the time to explain everything in detail. We felt completely safe and well taken care of, which is so important for anyone with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity. The welcoming atmosphere and warm Greek hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. We can wholeheartedly recommend The Hellenic – especially to anyone looking for safe, gluten-free dining without having to miss out on real Greek flavor.

George "the Gyro Genius" Giannaris will make you a memorable and delicious meal. My wife and I ordered the Grape Leaves, open Gyro, and Greek Salad. The Grape Leaves were as good as the ones we recently ate on a trip to Greece -- teeming with flavor with subtle hints of meat taste. The salad was amazing with bright red tomatoes, fresh produce, and copious amounts of feta and a great house dressing. The Gyro was well.....in a word...PERFECT! This was our first time and it certainly won't be out last.

This place is owned by a YouTube cooking channel chef. My girlfriend and I stopped by just to use the bathroom but it was super nice, there was a really attentive bartender lady, and so we decided to eat there. We had a "Grecian burger," wine, and homemade gelato. *Cool spot with 🔥 fire pits in the back. Really Greek decor, and will definitely want to come back.

Amazing Greek and american food that is large portioned and taste amazing! Would definitely return here. The gelato was amazing and was prepared on premises, the flan had a great Carmel taste, and the almond cookie melts in your mouth! (Deserts were ordered separate and plated together)

We were a party of six on a Friday afternoon. They're still only offering outdoor seating and take out, but the afternoon temperature was comfortable and the sun was shining. I’ve been coming here since the late 1970’s. Watched it grow and expand into a delightful country restaurant. But with Hampton/New York prices. Now it’s over priced for many items and they are quite small in portion. See photos The Greek cheese added nothing to the flavor of the dish. Tomato sauce was very good and the shrimp was swimming in it. Not jumbo shrimp but possibly large which isn’t much in size. Inflationary prices. Shrinkafication on portions??? Nearly $30. Really.

This is a pleasant restaurant with very nice outdoor seating ... perfect for a late afternoon lunch or early dinner on a beautiful autumn day! The food, I believe, reflects Greek American tastes with very generous portions! The spinach pie I ordered was truly nice but lacking a bit in taste, however the enormous Gyro wrap my local friend ordered ... hit the spot! 😀

One of the best gelato I’ve ever had. Great authentic Greek food with excellent service. The falafel is spectacular, perfectly cooked and not dry in the middle. The souvlaki and gyro are also delicious. The only drawback is that it’s a bit pricey. Nice atmosphere with great outdoor seating.

Driving around, my fiancé and I found this restaurant...exquisite. It appeared stuffy from the drive-in, but even if, the staff had the warmth of Southern hospitality. Nic/holas was our server, and he was great; offered suggestions when asked, attentive and welcoming. The fish was delicious, but I would have loved if they stuffed it with seasonings or sweet peppers or something aromatic; anyway, lives that it was paired with vegetables. My fiancé has the lamb over rice. For beverages, the vanilla creme was not or thing... tastes like a flat float and serves better on a home menu, but I understand it's the owners baby. On the other hand, the cosmogranate de-li-cious. Great atmosphere with the outdoor covered and uncovered seating and lawn games and areas for sip and chat decorated with Adirondack chairs. Good times!!

If you are on the North Folk of Long Island and this deep into the classic wine making area, this local establishment should make it on your radar. It has nice outdoor tables and indoor tables, if thats your desire. Staff is Covid compliant. The service was competent and the Dangerade cocktail was a treat. The menu is plentiful and sweet potato fries are a must along with a delicious Grecian Burger. So in short, go, enjoy and leave a nice tip. 👍👍 A year later and better then ever. 2022 and thank you George. Luca our waiter and the rest of the staff = aces. 👍👍

One of the best turkey clubs I ever had because the turkey was fresh and juicy. There is indoor and outdoor seating which is great to have the multiple options. The service could be a little better, but overall the experience was really good. There is cornhole and fire pits outside which are added bonuses.

The chicken was dry and the service can be hard to reach if you’re dining outside and indoor dining is busy. The atmosphere is great when the weather is cooperative. Close proximity to Lavender by the Bay which is a plus. Their lemonade is a must try!

Dined opposite the awesome looking dessert selection with family. Grilled octopus and fried calamari apps plus grilled fish entree were fantastic. Shrimp entree was good. Eggplant and garlic mash spreads we're both very forgettable, saganaki and tiropita ok. But the spring lamb special was not special, deceptively large portion mostly inedible fat and bone, would not recommend. After this, we skipped dessert and coffee.

Ordered takeout from here a few times. I don’t know- I’ve gotten better Greek salads from other places for much more affordable prices. They are way too generous with the onions. There’s better out there. Not terrible but nothing to write home about, just my opinion.

We visited on a gorgeous Saturday, late afternoon, and chose to sit at the fire pit seats. It was a really lovely setting, although the road is close by and people playing cornhole are nearby. We weren’t overly impressed with the food. I ordered a small plate of 3 appetizers for $20. I chose grilled Haloumi ( the tomato had no flavor in the height of tomato season in a farming community), taramasalata (it was too sweet and had no hint of a fish roe flavor at all), and stuffed grape leaves (fine, but not my idea of delicious ingredients). My husband had the gyro platter. The meat was thin, charred and fairly dry, a real disappointment. I did have their rice pudding, which came in an adorable crock and was absolutely delicious- firm Al dente rice, creamy with really good whipped cream on it. The service was very good, hostess and waiter were very sweet. I may return for a drink (and rice pudding) because the setting is so quaint, but not sure I’d eat there again.

Variable selection of food is available. However we were expecting specifically Greek cuisine! The lamb souvlakis were just ok I must say. The seafood and appetiser platter was ok too. Service was kinda slow but the service crew are very polite and accomodating. Special mention is the yummy lemonade, the cheesy saganaki and the bhaklava gelato.

My first and last time dinning here. My shrimp were so over cooked I couldn’t even eat them. The octopus was mush. Lamb and string beans were so bland.. not tasty at all. My waiter needs more training on service and overall people skills. We were so Looking forward to dinning here and were very disappointed.

We were so disappointed with our meal this past Sunday, May 5, 2024. Though the appetizer was quite good (a hummus dish), both the moussaka and pasticchio were tasteless, small portions and way over priced. About $30 each and awful… a glass of Chardonnay was $14 and essentially a house wine…. We should have gone to Noan’s in Greenport for the same money but much better food and atmosphere…. Beware of this place and their crazy prices for maybe mediocre fare…

Two years ago we had our first visit. The food was fantastic. Today we found it is not authentic: the Greek salad is diced too finely, the eggplant and zucchini slices were very expensive for that size. Kyma in Roslyn gives you a lot for this price. And they are a fancy establishment. Gyro was oily. The gelato was artificial and tasted more like soap. The frozen dessert we had the first time there was one of the best we have ever had. We used to recommend this restaurant a lot. Not anymore. The lemonade alone is not worth driving 2 hours.

I feel bad to leave a negative review for a family owned restaurant in such a sweet location but this truly was the worst Greek food I’ve ever had in my life and the prices are totally unreasonable. The tatziki was not tatziki. It didn’t have any mint or dill, and was totally lacking in flavor. To charge $10 for this with pita when most Greek establishments will offer this for free as a courtesy, with genuine tatziki - is shameful. The avgolemono soup was equally as shockingly terrible. It contained zero chicken, broth was not good and had an artificial yellow color, no real flavor, just mushy orzo. I came in originally wanting a soup and salad with grilled chicken but after seeing the prices, I realized that would not be possible. The Greek salad is $20, adding chicken is an additional $10. The bowl of soup was $10. I don’t know anyone spending $50 with tip included on soup and salad. It’s insane. Additionally all portions were small. I’ll certainly never be coming back which is a shame because there’s no reason they can’t just make better quality Greek food, and price it in the realm of what would be considered reasonable. Even if the food was outstanding - the prices are still way too high. Please put some herbs in your tatziki, chicken in your avgolemono; and please price the menu reasonably… you would make more $.

Incredibly disappointed. I have lived in Southold for 30 years and came to Hellenic for dine in and take out many times over the years but the last 3 times I have been so disappointed by the food. Not only have the prices gone up drastically but the portion sizes are so much smaller now. It was over $80 for 2 gyros and 2 half sized appetizers. Sad to say, I won’t be coming back. To follow up to George’s response: After driving all the way home and realizing my food was less than acceptable, the last thing I was going to do was subject myself to being badgered at the restaurant for complaining as I am in my online review. How dare you undermine my common sense and integrity. Posting reviews publicly is part of owning a business. For being a “46 year resident” this should not be new to you.

I ordered greek salad and rice pudding. The greek salad was made with iceberg lettuce and the salad was thrown together and dumped dried feta(not cubed) on top. I threw out the salad and the rice pudding was half cooked rice and only 1/2 cup for eight dollars(I see why they want to put whipped cream on it because there is minimal real dessert). I always wanted to try this place and I will not try it again. RESPONSE: Your establishment would rather deflect and minimize a patrons bad food experience instead of owing it. It really was awful. I can be sure your Grandma did not make the rice pudding the way it was that night. I did not order the "whipped cream" on my rice pudding. I had it plain. It was under cooked and only 1/2 cup. Remember? Yuck twice, for your attitude and the food.

First impression is always the last! I go in to pick up my order there is a tall lady, somewhat curly/wavey hair pulled back in a little bun with a bump in the front and a thin headband on (who looks to be the owner/owner wife) comes to the register, I say hello I'm here to pick up, this lady didn't even look at me nor say Hello/ good evening. Walks right pass me to and empty table to pick up something comes back and not even say "oh I'm sorry how can I help or a hello". And it wasn't packed only to tables that had people eating in the area I was in. The lady very rude and for that, I will NOT be doing business there again and I loved this place. Not no more. You can't acknowledge someone when they greet you is disgusting. No manners! Now the server Andrea (if that was even her name but it was on the receipt a shorter older lady other than the tall rude lady.) Walks right up a smile on her face, say Hello how are? And proceeds with excellent customer service, pleasant and welcoming and still the rude lady ever said a word but whisper something to Andrea. Andrea still smiling say mmmhhmm and carried on. NO THANK YOU. My money will go where it's inviting and pleasant!

We went here for a special occassion and were extremely disappointed! Falafal was hard as rocks, octopus was mushy and flavorless, souvlakis were gristly probably due to partially thawed chicken being cooked. We could not eat it at all! The waitress did not even ask if everything was OK when she saw our plates were barely touched, obviously it was not OK! The souvlakis were presented as a wet pile. pita on the bottom, chicken and then onions and tomato over the top which soaked the french fries and bread to the point they were inedible. This used to be a wonderful place to eat. I hope the owners see this review and take heed and make changes.

This place has changed.. I ordered 2 greeksalads with gyro meat on one and chicken on the other. Gyro meat was awful, dry and burned! No grape leaves on the salad either. Very disappointing!! Not going back!

I would never in my life ever eat here ever again if I knew I’d be paying 20$ a piece for a pork souvlaki stick. The food is good but the idea that I paid 20$ a piece for a pork souvlaki and 15$ a piece for a chicken souvlaki is absurd not counting the fact that we had to drive back there to get the pita that wasn’t given with our order as it was supposed to be. 750$ later and I’m making 2 trips. God bless

Most garbage food on the north fork. How they can call this Greek food is beyond me. Souvlaki is sliced tomatoes over yellow rice. The dips are disgusting. Hummus from Costco is better. Literally inedible . And their small sized ice cream is $8.00 and they actually weigh it. It's shameful .. and melts in 2 minutes. Totally robbery. How this place has stayed in business is shocking and of call themselves a Greek restaurant is actually lying. It's worse than any diner I've been to in my entire life.
