Not too fancy but feels good and the food was great. Just right for a night out with family and delicious authentic Italian. Very good personal pizza, nice ambiance and service.

We order regularly from here and dine in once in a while with our one year old it’s always a pleasure. Food is always so good and fresh. The chicken Parmesan is always to die for and penne vodka.
La Pizzetta is tastefully decorated & kept immaculate! Efrain did an exceptional job at seating us at a most comfortable booth, was patient, knowledgeable & clearly explained dishes. Special requests were pleasantly accommodated. Water glasses were immediately filled without having to request. Outstanding garlic knots & Pizzette Margherita Pizza. Incredible specials! Stuffed baby eggplant & Brussel sprouts oreganata were mouth watering appetizers. Split pea soup was my daughter’s favorite & my husband liked the minestrone soup . Boneless chicken fantasia with asparagus, broccoli and portobello shatake mushrooms was phenomenal and enough for my husband & I to split. My husband’s cappuccino was fantastic! The orange creamsicle, lemon sorbet & Oreo ice cream cake that my daughters & I had for dessert were out of this world! Everything was beautifully prepared, generously portioned, cooked to perfection and served quickly. A container for leftovers & receipt were immediately brought to our table. Dining in at La Pizzetta has always been a truly special treat & most memorable family tradition for decades and brings my family & I so much happiness that we will forever cherish. Can’t wait to return soon and try other enticing meals. Highly recommend!
Great menu, good wine! Lovely atmosphere and decor. Pricey specials (small plate of asparagus - 7 Spears - was $11) and entrées ($48 for lobster linguine). Dinner for 5 with one bottle of wine, coffee and shared dessert was $190.00 - do plan for the bill! Enjoyed the experience, but maybe not with the whole family in the future: more of a special occasion spot for us, I think.
Always amazing. The staff is so friendly. If you want to go to a affordable and great Italian joint than come here. The food never is bad. There are so many options that are all good. From fish to pasta to red meat, every food option is great.
Best Italian Food in NYC metro area I always come her when I’m on Long Island and this place is better than any Italian spot in NYC Try the Chicken Francese with a side of escarole it’s the best. 5 Stars Espresso is top notch. Cool owner
Nice Italian restaurant, they serve more than pizza, both the pappardell pasta and the branzino fish was good, so was my kid’s chicken Parm. As others have noted this is not a budget restaurant, but prices are not outrageous. I would recommend this place for a family dinner or a friends get together. 4.7 ⭐️
The homemade fettuccine and parpardelle were outstanding! Perfect pizzete options. Great selection of wines. Tiramisu, pineapple sorbet, and the chocolate peanut butter cake were all great finales.
Good classic NY style Italian food! Honestly was pleasantly surprised. My friend showed me this place and we ended up coming here for birthday takeout since our other restaurant was closed. And now ive been back a few times. My only complaint is that on the to go orders the pastas never have enough sauce so ask for extra! So far my fav is the seafood marinara and the stuffed artichoke on special
Food is always delicious! Enjoyed the shrimp parm this time. White chocolate moose for dessert is always an added bonus!
The team at LA Pizzetta are the best. They treat everyone like family. Food is delicious. Service is excellent. If you need a quick bite they will do their best. If you want to stay a while, no pressure. Excellent local restaurant.

This wonderful little neighborhood joint is a 'throwback' to the days of checkered tablecloths and chianti in straw bottles. The food is very good and can often be excellent (especially if you order one of the 'specials'). The service is pleasant and unhurried. Their wine list is several notches above the old 'red or white' days, with one or two excellent wines on the list. The atmosphere is well-appointed casual, and the pricing is very reasonable. Strongly recommended for an unpretentious lunch or dinner.

Have had very good dinners here, and some definite misses. Service can be good, but also sporadic. The other day ordered pizza for takeout. Was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. When person got there to pick it up 12 minutes after we called in the order, only then did they start to make our pizzas. Have had much better pizzas from there. Sparse toppings. So hit or miss in food and in service. Can be very good, even if bit pricey.

The food was terrific but our waiter Albert was definitely lacking in the customer service area. From the moment the 4 of us walked in he seemed to annoyed we were there and an inconvenience to him. He rolled his eyes when he was asked if we could keep our tickets separate(2 groups of 2 so 2 tickets) when asked about menu items he was rude and condescending(what comes on a platter). There were several other instances of him not being very customer service oriented. Had it not been for his rude and appathetic attitude this restraunt would have received 5 stars from me.
The Gorgonzola salad was balanced but had almost no dressing. Mussel appetizer was delicious, had to sop up all the liquid with the 2nd order of bread. Two different main courses were both dry and totally over cooked, Shrimp scampi and chicken with sausage. At over $30 per entrees was quite a disappointment. Our waiter Pedro was pleasant and efficient.

We went there for lunch this past Sunday. The waiter was inattentive and arrogant. Had to remind him multiple times that we wanted pizza to come with appetizers together, and he still did not do it. When we ordered desert, we specified that we would only take espresso if there was vanilla ice cream. He said he had to check in the kitchen. Guess what, after 10 min waiting, he came back with two espresso and told us they ran out of ice cream. Really have no desire to go back any more due to bad service, even though the owner is very nice and friendly.
Shady owners. If you are booking a party get EVERYTHING in writing from these guys. There is a reason these guys don't provide a contract. One owner will quote you one thing and then day of your party they will charge you a completely different price. Food is mediocre at best.
Under any circumstance do not give this shady, disgusting owner any of your money. If you are looking to waste a few bucks, you'd be better off putting it into a paper shredder, atleast there it would go to better use. The lack of care for customers and the owner's semi-boisterous attitude leaves you with the most disheartening dinning experience possible. Perhaps you should have more care for the people giving you their business? Lackluster food from an even more lackluster owner. Order at your own risk.
I've lived in this community for seven years and had always heard such great things about La Pizzetta. I was ready to love this place but was very disappointed. The food was fine but our waiter was unfriendly and most unhelpful. With out even saying hello he asked for our order. Someone else brought our food and our waiter continued to help the people around us but completely ignored us. Eventually the host (who I assume is the owner as well) cleared our table and got us our check. He also wasn't the friendliest of people but was at least more attentive than our waiter. I am not sure why we were treated this way. We are a nice, quiet young family who were just looking to have a nice night out together. I will not be returning.
Unbelievably disappointed doesn't cover it. Had a medium sized party for a Birthday dinner and couldn't have had worse service. The fried calamari was absolutely disgusting, chewy and stringy. The hot antipasto was just as bad with gewey clams and a mess of what attempted to be rolitini. Our Waiter who was unbelievably incompetent was asked multiple times for different items for the table and would just walk away. The waiter also messed up by not putting in my order to just come back and offer something else like I didn't already order that HE screwed up. Overall terrible experience and will never be visiting again. Go to literally anywhere else to eat. Unfortunately they got a 20% tip when they barley deserve 10%
