Best Sushi in Atascadero!! I used to go to the other shops in town!! I am in Love with the BIG TUNA ROLL (no rice) and SASHIMI SALAD. Very kind and attentive staff💖 The prices are reasonable for sushi👍 Each of us ordered at least 3 items, so the cost was about $40/50 for each of us.. So very worth it💖💖💖

TASTY food served by friendly staff. We took a 3 year old boy there and he was treated so nicely. When we had to be home through the Covid lockdown we got tired of our home cooking. This restaurant was doing take out so we ordered and picked it up. Same great taste and quality. A great Atascadero business.

I really liked the attentiveness the staff gave us. I ordered way too much as their rolls are huge! And that tower thing was delicious. A+ for presentation and creativity.

Loved all the options! My wife and I were craving sushi and saw the previous great reviews so we gave it a go! What a score! We ordered the Gyoza to start which were crispy and filled with shrimp. Moving on to the rolls, we chose three but could easily have settled for two! Our eyes were choosing our hunger level. We got the CSF Roll, the California Golden Roll, and the OMG Roll. Totally satisfied and will absolutely be returning again!

We eat at all the Sushi bars , and have come to give Crazy the top rating in Atascadero. The price performance is the best and I also enjoy the simple chicken teriyaki bowl. The Salmon is so fresh, and the staff is so nice. Lets go now for lunch!

Just amazing came from Colorado and one of the best experiences in CA for us. Definitely will be back just for this experience agian. The sushi was the freshest we’ve had yet. The one on one experience was also amazing.

Really amazing Japanese and Korean dishes here. My favorites are the Oyako Don, Bibimbap, and Bulgogi. Everything, meat and veggies, are always fresh and delicious and well-balanced with seasonings and nicely packaged when I get take out or delivery.

Went here 4yrs ago and loved it. Went again and it was even better. Does not have all you can eat but you get big servings for your money. Worth a visit!!!

Food was fresh and excellent...the only thing missing was adequate sauce. The sauce was delicious, but very sparse on both the tuna tataki and the chicken teriyaki. I'm asking for extra sauce next time...and I can't wait😊

amazing food it is very much worth every penny. We were visiting from way out of town (we live about 4 hours away) and came across this place and I'm so glad we did. Best sushi ever compared to our city. Service was also incredible best service we ever had. our waitress was amazing. I think her name is Joy? (our receipt says Joy) and she was so great with my 2 y.o. Joy came out and gave my daughter her own little baby-sized California-type roll. it was so cute, it was garnished and everything (she ate it all) and then she even gave her a balloon they had and Joy was just so attentive. She is seriously the best waitress ever she made the restaurant experience amazing. My husband and I are literally going to drive out for 4 hours to visit the area to have an excuse to eat here again IT'S THAT GOOD.

I love the miso soup and vegetable tempura roll. I get avocado and crunch on top of my roll! This place is delicious every time. I also love the side salad with ginger dressing.

Toshis used to be my favorite for years. But the quality and portion sizes went down hill after they changed owners. Everyone in my friend group agrees that Chitose is the current best Sushi in town. And they are on door dash ;)

If you haven't eaten here yet, you're missing out! This has got to be the best sushi in SLO county. I was so blown away by how amazing the service and food were. My family and I walked through the door and we were immediately greeted and seated. We didn't even wait 10 minutes before our food was served to us. The food was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Our waiter was so friendly to our two young kids and even made them a balloon sword and a balloon flower. I have never felt so welcomed in a restaurant. Really, I can't believe this place wasn't packed. If I could give 10 stars I would. Check it out!

Very great environment! The best deep fried Philadelphia roll my husband has ever gotten. The best avocado roll I have ever gotten, they came out with a complimentary kids California roll for my kids that they loved. Service was quick and efficiant- we ended the meal with great conversation and the waitress made my kids balloon swords which they loved ! Highly recommended

Always love eating here. The food is absolutely delicious. Only problem is that your stomach will never be big enough to eat alot of there food. But over time I have tried everything on the menu. And no matter what you choose you won't be disappointed. And the staff are the best. Always can count on them to be there when you need them. Very helpful. And the chefs are top notch. They care and take pride in their work.

We just moved here and I was missing our weekly Sushi night until we found Sushi Chitose. The sushi is as good as the best places in LA. Love the Spanish Mackerel and Uni specials. The Salmon Delight roll is a favorite. Friendly and very attentive staff. Atmosphere is great. The fish is so fresh and pieces are quite generous.

My husband and I eat here often. The food is very good and always fresh. We use both take out and dine in service and the staff is friendly, attentive and efficient. We like good quality food and we appreciate the fact that the prices are excellent and you can get a great meal for a very reasonable price.

Ordered a selection of rolls and some sushi. All came in one huge and wonderful Asian boat. Quality was very good. Fish was fresh and service was great. Rolls we ordered: Red Dragon, Caterpillar, Salmon Delight and Sexy.

Me and my sister went for lunch and it was amazing we got the spicy edamame, salmon appetizer, big baller roll, and one I can’t remember the name but it had spicy tuna and scallop inside with ono on top. Honestly the best sushi I’ve had in the area in a long time. The service is amazing and everyone was very polite and nice. 1000% recommend!!!!!

I was not prepared to like this place as much as I did. We loved Crazy Sushi Fever and were so sad to see them leave. But after trying Chitose we are feeling much better about the transition. Very yummy rolls, good customer service and quality seafood. I especially enjoyed the spicy tuna handrolls with avocado! Yummm. They were adorable and so sweet towards my son. Made him a mini roll so he wouldnt have trouble eating. Too cute. Looking forward to our next visit!

They were so kind, sweet, and loving to our family. They made a special little baby roll for our toddler and fresh squeezed juice. What amazing service and a high quality chef! We got a lot of food for what we paid, and the service was fast. We will definitely be coming back :)

Well Crazy Sushi Fever has new owners and a new menu and wonderful staff and the place really Sparkles now. it didn't always Sparkle but has really made it happen for clean. the quality of the Sashimi salmon is a knockout. My wife can't seem to order anything else. The presentation of the various sushis are marvelous. And beautiful. And tasty. and it's now a regular spot for us to have lunch and dinner. To sum it up yum yum yum

This place has suffered for years. Now with new staff and menu this place has quickly become our family go to restaurant. Everybody gets what they want and like including beer and saki and I can still afford to send the kids to college. If you are a sushi snob like me and enjoy a variety of fresh sashimi and nigiri, this isn't for you. If you enjoy good food, and will settle for rolls and what selection of fresh fish they do have(very pedestrian) and get out for under 100 with the familt then come on in and belly up. Casual setting, super friendly staff and delicious food.

Ordered a Red Dragon roll supposedly with spicy tuna and chili oil. It was not spicy at all, in fact, boringly bland. Asked the waitress and she said it was because some people don't like it that hot (Whaaah???) My husband ordered mixed tempura. The sauce was very cold and tasteless, the tempura was not crisp. His beef ribs were also rather bland. My sushi combo was ok, but not as fresh as we are used to. The salad was just OK. Our first hint was that the restaurant was virtually empty on a Friday night and almost completely empty by the time we left. On the positive side, the waitress was attentive. On the negative, she was not very knowledgeable about Japanese cuisine. We tried....but wont be back. Kochi's...you keep our loyalty with fresh, delicious food.

Their food is good with good proportions but we ordered a yellow tail collar, they gave us salmon. When I asked why the waitress said adamantly that we ordered salmon. Which we didn't. We said yellowtail 3 times. So the dishonesty was annoying.

The food was okay, the others in my party enjoyed it more than I. There were a few things that one less than par. First there was no changing table in the bathroom, and second the service that we received was marginal at best.

The staff there was very kind and helpful but I have to say... the sushi just wasnt good. The main problem was that the nori was super tough. Like it was past date or left out to dry. I couldn't bite through it on both pieces I had. I probably should've sent it back but I felt bad. We had already sent back s cucumber salad. I honestly wouldn't go back.

The staff was very attentive, but we were not impressed with the food. The sushi was OK, as was the miso soup. The rolls had no flavor and some of sauces they use were downright impossible to eat. I had to scrape the chili sauce off one of my rolls. The potstickers were not good at all as was the sauce they serve with them. I don't like leaving poor reviews, but I just want to share our perspective. It may be the best place for some, just not for us. We have had much better sushi at Toshis and other locations in our local.

I ordered the lobster roll in the lobster was rubbery overcooked nasty I husband ordered the dynamite roll and he didn't really enjoy his either didn't taste like fresh fish and it was rubbery like who knows how many times it was cooked I would not recommend that place

This place gets two stars for the food alone. If you don't care about service come here and get great sushi. Sadly the service has not gotten any better after years. We probably had 6 different people come to our table. When asked for a refill she refilled my cup only, ignoring the other people at the table. When paying they gave us $15 in change instead of $5. Sure, I like free money. When we tried to correct the change they got all confused. Come for the sushi, but be patient with the staff.

Horrible service, mediocre food but finally a wonderfully-colorful picture menu; I went on a Saturday afternoon while their were 3 customers - I felt rushed to order, eat, and leave uncomfortably...the Sake hadn't even begun to work

This place use to be amazing. It is awful now. I just spent 16 bucks on 2 California rolls and the avocado, yet again was almost completely brown. It does not taste fresh at all. A year ago I would of recommend this place. Not now. Its awful.

First time we came here, it was mostly good food. But we did not get 20% off the check, even with our 20% off coupon. Second time coming here was a disgrace. Every vegan option had been removed from the menu, except one all-vegetable sushi roll. When it came, it wasn't a sushi roll, it was a flavorless circle of sliced lettuce that literally fell apart at first touch, disintegrating into a pile of what looked like lawn clippings. Yum! I was told the tempura couldn't be made without egg, but that they could give me stir fried vegetables with rice. I said, ok, I will take the stir fried vegetables with rice and tofu. A small plate of some sauteed onions showed up. No rice. I said, hey, is that rice still coming? They got very confused and explained it didn't come with rice. Ok...well then why tell me it did! We were not given any silverware. Had to flag down the server a bunch of times to ask for it, and to ask for other things they forgot. The best joke was our bill! We were given a bill with a 20% tip suggestion- which came to $6, then we were given a bill with a 20% "discount applied", which was $3. Absolutely HILARIOUS! I posted a photo, so everyone can witness what they're doing here- false advertising. Gotta say...tempted to report them for it. I just might. That's NOT okay.

We have gone here at least once a week since we moved to atascadero then after It changed owners we went once, figured we would give it another chance and no thanks. Off our list of restaurants to eat at. So disappointing.

Expensive for mediocre quality sushi. Ordered the salmon roll and found several bones in the fish and more stuck to the rice. Please do a better job filleting the fish and clean the knife used to debone the fish before cutting the roll into pieces. Unable to recommend this place and would not eat here again.

Had not ate anything from there in a long time because i didn't care for the food. Ordered a deep fried soft shell crab tonight (only because Toshis was closed) and believe it or not, still disappointed. The restaurant itself smells like fish oil & the crab was so under cooked it wasn't edible. Nice people. I just don't understand how they continue to get such good ratings.
