Was Kunden über O Mok Jo Mok sagen
O Mok Jo Mok specializes in Korean blood sausage (soondae) dishes, particularly soondae guk (soup). Customers praise the authentic flavors and generous portions, especially the soondae and kimchi. Some find the atmosphere lacking and note inconsistencies in food quality and missing ingredients.

There are many dishes not often seen in other Korean restaurants. We had the intestine tofu soup and sea food tofu soup and a Korean style sausage to go. The soups come with eggs inside it already. Lots of tofu with little intestines or sea food. The soup tastes great! There are many dishes and soups containing Korean style sausage. So we had ordered one to go. It comes with a spicy pickle sauce and pink salt. It’s clear green bean noodle and pig blood filled sausage. To eat it with the sauce, a pinch of salt, or the pickled vegetables is an adventure of taste buds!
Very comforting and sweet bulgogi soup full of beef flavor and yummy ingredients. Their side dishes are the most masterfully flavored I've tried in a Korean restaurant.
Can't get this goodness anywhere else. I miss living in this area for authentic cuisine such as this. The soup is so warm and soothing with textures and flavors of the pork intestine that is so unique and rich. I especially like the platter of soondae. I think the flavor of the sausage is stronger in this form over the soup. And of course the side dishes are perfect, refreshing compliments to the entrees. Definitely worth a try if you've never had it before and are feeling adventurous. I don't think you can go wrong with any dish here.
If you want just great Korean food, especially soondae, without caring too much about interior, atmosphere, cleanliness, etc., then this is it. Obok is a pure statement for "food matters most". And when you are at Obok, you must try their soondae-guk - the soup with soondae in it. It really is the signature, the heart and soul of true Korean comfort food. The soup that drains your woes and grogginess from a hangover. The owner and the server ladies are super nice and would love to always give you more. You feel love, rather than a transaction. And yes, the restaurant won't come across as the clean, modern, date-night, type of fare. But that's okay. Sometimes you just want that love felt from your aunt or grandma. You just simply have to love Obok and it'll love you back.
Their blood sausage and intestines are wetter than jangtu’s. We like their intestines and jantu's blood sausage more.
My go to spot with my parents. Their soondae (blood sausage) is soooo good. It’s better than a lot of places I’ve tried in Korea. Their kimchi and kkagduki is excellent and I always ask for seconds and thirds. The soondae gook is tasty and so satisfying when you want warm comforting food. Highly recommend this place if you like soondae!

the waitress is very kind. i ordered one bottle of soju but didn’t finish it. she packed it for me in a bag and told me to leave it in the trunk to stay put of trouble. such kindness is so rare these days. really appreciate it! the food is authentic. if you like a hole in the wall place where you can relax and enjoy a meal, come to this place and you won’t regret. 😊
One of my go-to places for sundae whenever I'm in the Bay Area at the mothership in Mountain View or Sunnyvale. Their offal and blood sausages are great and so's their soup. Parking can sometimes be a hassle during peak dinner hours but it's worth the wait.

Nice hole in the wall spot for a busy plaza. We came by for a late dinner around 8:30PM. No one was there when we ordered, but halfway through our meal, a few other folks had dined in. We ordered two tofu stews, one beef and one seafood. Good tofu stews. Sides were good and staff was friendly to refill. Parking can definitely be busy during peak hours.
If you like soondae, you must visit Obok. Almost all items listed in the menu are Soondae, Korean blodd sausage. Soondae soup is really good, and you can't easily find this soup in Bay area.
The food here tastes good way better than expected. Side dishes all good like it a lot.
Good intestines. Better to eat it hot cuz when it got cold it was too salty
Small Korean bbq place. Nothing too special, service was attentive and quick. Good pork belly and the lettuce was fresh!

Low key restaurant specializing in sundae, I've been coming regularly for 2+ years but I thought I noticed their portions decrease when I was there last month.

Bare bones Korean restaurant in Santa Clara area along El Camino near Lawrence Expressway - the area has a huge concentration of Korean restaurants sprinkled in strip malls for a 3 mile stretch. Very authentic and may not be fully appreciated by a non-Korean diner. The appetizers were not great but the entree (we had beef sukiyaki) was good. One of very few Korean eateries open at mid-morning. Service was polite and cheerful.

Missing ingredients for beef soup! I feel like they recycle the side dishes, maybe the rice too?😵💫(extremely dry fish cake, the rice has weird color and little piece of tofu in it) no service
0/5, misleading menu pictures I ordered the Nae Jang Sool Guk (spicy intestine soup with veggies) and it came out looking extremely different than on the menu. It was supposed to come with enoki mushrooms, but it came out with no mushrooms at all. I had to ask our waitress about it, and I received a roughly sliced button mushroom instead. Not the same thing at all… The picture also showed blood sausage, bean sprouts, etc. and my soup didn’t have any of that. You can see my pictures for what the menu item looked like, and what I actually ended up eating. The soup itself was also way too salty. I hate giving a rating like this to a small, locally owned place but considering the prices, the taste, and the blatantly false menu pictures, I can’t give it a higher score :/
This is $22 Sundae for takeout.($25.09 with tax) Only Sundae!!! I was soooo shocked! Totally different with picture. While I am driving there, I called to changed other intensines to Gan(Lung). And they told me I need to pay additional $5. When I open the box, even it just has Sundae!!!!!
Tried their “soondae gukbap” which is a Korean blood sausage soup with rice. They did a poor job of getting rid of the distinct pork smell or the meat could have been not fresh enough for the smell to be covered using cooking techniques. None of their side dishes (kimchi, kkakdugi, pickled jalepeno peppers) were good either. I like Moobongri better.

I ordered two bowls of sundae soup and assorted korean blood sausage. I think it's mystery meat , the side dishes were not delicious and they were not fresh. Assorted sundae is dry, the smell is strong, boiled pork liver has a rubbery texture when chewed and a few ears are cut off. Everything is a mess. It was the worst experience. I won't go again. I will never recommend it.
