Friendly staff that always do their best to anticipate the needs of their customers. There’s a reason this bar has flourished for so long. Kick ass menu, even though I hate the fries. Great place to get together with friends, casual date night, karaoke, and best place to watch sports. Mel, Toni, and Gabby are great managers and make sure it’s a cool environment with great vibes. Andrea and Cat are awesome servers!

Went there for the first time Friday, 11/24/23. The Tacos Borrachos is really an outrageous dish and will fill up a huge man like myself: 12 tacos with a great salsa on the side, two large roasted jalapenos, and plenty of grilled red onions marinated in Dos Equis beer. YUMMY! Very reasonable at $17.99 and plenty for two average appetites. El Paso Band was a great surprise, I had never heard them, a 7 piece, very percussion and horn oriented, lots of older great tunes. Just loved them. Only negative: My bill with an iced tea was $21.71. I gave the waitress $40 and she said, "Do you need change??" I find that extremely annoying. Do the math, if I let her keep the change, that would be a 75% tip. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? When she said that I told her, "I'm going to tip you BUT NOT EIGHTEEN DOLLARS!" She got the message and brought me $17 change (minus the 29 cents but that's OK). I tipped her $5 which is a 23% tip, very reasonable. I will say she was a VERY attentive waitress.

I went there on a Friday, 4-6pm. Happy hour specials 3$ cuervo shots, plus more. I tried the chicken nachos , if you love nachos and are not on a diet go for the full order and add another portion of chicken, or meat. Cool spot.

The rookie burger was juicy and a good portion. Bacon was thick. Fries were good even though they’re different from the last time I came. The vibes just weren’t there. Mostly an older crowd on a Sunday evening playing throwbacks (via touch tunes). And not the good kind. Bartender and servers were very attentive.

I don’t come to this bar very often but when I do the food is good and the atmosphere is like your average neighborhood bar. However my experience a couple weeks ago wasn’t great, the manager with short red hair was extremely rude and intoxicated. She started a fight with the manager on duty and started yelling in front of all the customers, very unprofessional. We heard her bad mouthing her employees which was very disrespectful and inappropriate she was causing a commotion for no reason. I feel bad for the employees since we will not be returning for awhile. Out bartender Aracely was very kind and attentive despite the situation

This place is great for GB Packer fans to watch the games. Waitresses are O.K., but not delivering great customer service due to the lack of leadership. I saw one of the kitchen guys lick his fingers as he prepped food. As I noticed this and pointed at what happened, the whole kitchen, guys, went on a rampage. As if we were the owners, and they were telling us, "we do as we please." From Frozen foods to outrageous prices... why? Because employees run the place and NOT the real owners. It's an absolute shame!

Visited on a Sunday. A small sports bar with a inexperienced bartendress. We sat at the bar and the counter and menus were sticky. Ordered a beer and the bartendress put down the glass while she waited for the foam to clear. We waited about ten minutes before we reminded her. She forgot to give us the beer while she ate her lunch. Their weren't many patrons this afternoon, yet the service was still slow. Nothing to brag about with the chicken wings, but the fries were excellent. Our experience today was a let down to say the least. Being served by a panicked bartendress, who paced around the bar looking for a bottle opener, not realizing that this beer bottle she was holding was a twist off. Sadly, this first experience was torturous. We might wait awhile before we give this place a second chance.

This was my first time here in a very long time. This time my husband and I came on a Sunday for the NFL ticket. 11am games. We spent about 20 min jumping from one table to another until the manager could accommodate us to see the Packers game. (My hubby). 😋 Since this is primarily a Cowboys (😍) spot, I called in to see if they also play other games. I got a response of yes mam. That's why we went in. On our second seating we were placed in a place where the banners on the bar were hiding the TV where the game was playing. I had to ask the waitress if it was possible to move us to the end of the establishment where there were no customers and put the game on one of those TVs. Keep in mind this is a sports bar. They have SEVERAL TVs. She went and asked her manager, the manager immediately said; no. I approached the manager and mentioned that I had previously called, and I was told they would be able to play the game. She then asked when I called and agreed to sit me at the back of the location and change one TV, but if anyone comes and asks to have it changed; The Cowboys game would take priority. I mean so many TVs! We were in the back with one TV lol praying no one would want our tv, which by the way 3 other Packer fans joined us around the TV. It was busy but the service was so SLOW. No refill on drinks, for us at least, we saw others around us getting refills on theirs. I almost asked a table to send us the waitress once a while. My husband’s Dr. Pepper was flat, so he made a comment to the waitress, to have the Dr. Pepper checked. She stated oh yes, but never ever came back to with a new drink, of course I didn’t get a refill either ☹ The environment was good, but the service was crappy. The food was ok, I can’t say it wasn’t good nor bad, we just didn’t enjoy it because of the service. That’s what I believe. The Churros were really good, a little greasy, but they are churros. So, I guess. We got those for free because they took too long to bring them to us. Which we appreciated that gesture, thank you for dessert. We stayed because we were giving the place a shot, so sad to say we might not go back due to this experience. We will see in a few more years…maybe.

Only my 2nd time here & the one IMPORTANT game I came to watch, I CAN'T even go inside, because it reached CAPACITY. Came all the way out here from Socorro for NOTHING. Gotta get a BIGGER Facility, especially for NEWER PACKERS FANS that's NEVER been here.

We love the food and the environment of this bar , but I wanted to address this specific server/bartender she’s always on her phone and her boyfriend it’s more important than us apparently because she never took care of us and she kept forgetting our drinks.

Every Friday I notice that the manager, Tony, is taking shots and giving free items to friends and relatives. Unfortunately, this leads to poor service for the rest of the customers. The owner should start monitoring her actions and managing the bar’s money more closely. Because of this, I’ve decided I can no longer continue coming, as the service and management are not up to standard
