Came for Valentine’s Day first time here. The food was delicious, drinks were great. Sat at the Bar while waiting for a table. Christina the bar tender was great and friendly that we decided to stay at the bar and eat. Great customer from Christina..My husband had the tacos and I had the salmon which both were delicious. Highly recommend this place.
Highly Recommended! Food was very great and delicious and staff was friendly and helpful, Our server Ezequiel was great with taking our orders right and always being attended! Lets these photos show you a little preview of those place food
I took the family there to eat at it was amazing. The tacos were delicious the ceviche was tasty the queso fundido is fried right in front of you and the Guacamole is also made right in front of you as well. Super fresh everything hit it was great. Shout out to our Server Fernando I believe. Super hospitable and attentive constantly checking up on us. I went there once before but the service wasn’t great so I debated going back but I’m glad I did thank you
I had been wanting to come here for a while. Finally did!!! And I am was so satisfied. The food!!! Galore!!! Delicious and well served. The waiter Ezequiel was very attentive. Always making sure our drinks were filled and checking up making sure everything was ok. I recommend this place if you love great taste , a chillin environment, and not expensive at all. Literally left my mouth open when I got the receipt. Thank La Terraza for amazing service.
A week ago I went to celebrate my mom's birthday on LV Terraza We saw the posts on Facebook and wanted to try it. We ordered a Patron Tower and a beef and shrimp aguachile. We really enjoyed the flavor and presentation of all the dishes. Our waitress Nataly was very attentive and friendly, her service was excellent. I definitely recommend it.
My son and I went on February 2, the food was very good, salsa tostadas all sooo good. I mentioned that my sons birthday was coming in 2 days, they sang happy birthday to him, I almost cried. Ezekiel and the staff were amazing. Thank you very much ❤️
Our experience was so good that we want to come back soon! “La Tampoqueña” was my favorite dish, and the waitress Natalie was so kind and gave us a very grateful experience, absolutely recommended
The sushi portions are very large; we ate the breaded one. Everything was delicious, and our server Nataly was very professional and efficient. A plus is that they prepare the melted cheese at the table. I would definitely go back.
Amazing experience! The service was excellent, and Ezequiel went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Great food, great atmosphere, and top-notch service!
My husband and I recently moved here and wanted to eat something near by in this showed up we were a little nervous in going because of the reviews. Luckily we decided to give it a try and it was so delicious and the service was wonderful. Everyone was so nice and our food came out fast and so delicious.
Our Company had a Lunch for all 65 Employees and they were able to accommodate us. The food was outstanding we had Ribeyes, Fajitas and Cocktails and other plates. The service was also excellent and the Guillermo who help plan the event was also great. Thank you to all La Terraza Staff
I’ve seen a lot of bad reviews, and I don’t understand why. The food is spectacular, the place is beautiful and cozy, and the service is amazing. Fernanda was so kind that it’s a real pleasure to spend time here. I suppose everyone has their own tastes, and I haven’t tried everything on the menu—maybe there are things that could be improved, like in any restaurant. Not everything can be perfect or exactly to our liking. But I have to say, I loved it
We were in Eastside and decided to try this place out..and I’m glad we did! The inside is very nicely decorated. The menu is pretty big and has a lot to choose from..from Mexican dishes and even sushi. We ordered nachos to start and they were pretty good but very big, had I known I wouldn’t have had them. I ordered shrimp ceviche and it was amazing! Hubby got the fish soup and it was huge! Server was good and the price was good for the portions we had and for having seafood. Highly recommend..we will be back!
Walked in on a Saturday evening and wasn’t as busy as I would have expected. The prices are a bit high but I do have to praise the delicious food. Ordered the nacho steak fries, the shrimp tacos and the monster burger. They were all well past my expectations and very well portioned that we even brought plenty of leftovers home. If you have a chance I would definitely recommend this place and hoping that in the near future they will lower the prices just a tad.
This restaurant to me is solid and the service has always been outstanding. My brother and I go to it at least once a month. It's never disappointed us yet. Couldn't give it 5 stars because they aren't perfect, the green and red enchilada sauce does not taste home made to us. However, the chips and salsa they put out on the table is great. Red and green. Even for breakfast they give you chips and salsa, many mexican restaurants in town do not. This recent visit we had breakfast for the first time there, my chicken fajita omelet was great, the one knock on their breakfast platters is they don't come with toast or a tortilla. Found that odd if you ask me, also we asked for coffee and water and they charged us for the water since it was bottled. I'd like it if the waitress would have mentioned it beforehand. I refuse to pay for water. I still highly recommend this place, very clean, plenty of space and as I mentioned before I love great service. Eat local!
I had the shrimp cocktail, $16.99 not impressed maybe 1cup to a cup n half. It literally just had the red sauce, which was tasty. But it only had like 8 shrimp and very little diced cucumber, and like 3 slices of avocado. That's it. No Cilantro... no celery stick... Presentation was horrible and it seemed like it missed a whole lot of stuff. No, chop celery. Nada... Also, if you ask for a cup of water, they're gonna charge you $2.50 per water bottle. They only have but only one type of salsa. Really at a high-end Mexican restaurant like this and Only one type of salsa And it was a light green pastey looking had more garlic than anything. It was thick, an overall weird texture. It didn't even look like a salsa.
This place use to be my favorite spot to eat. Lately, the last 3 times I’ve been disappointed with the food. I went and ordered nachos and they were definitely NOT IT. Watered-down canned cheese, stale chips and huge chunks of pico. I was very disappointed. The table next to us complained that their child’s pizza was still frozen. Yuck!
I do not recommend this place very long wait for somebody to take our order then even a longer wait for us to get our food. I ordered the fajitas no flavor at all the beans and tortillas tasted like they had been sitting there for a while very disappointed.
I was really looking forward to trying this place, but unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the hype. I ordered the Torre Patrón and was very disappointed, it was completely tasteless and lacked any real flavor. Even the presentation wasn’t appetizing. I hope they work on improving both the taste and how the dishes are served, because the concept has potential.
Overall, I wouldn’t return for dinner. It was ridiculously expensive for nothing to be honest. Would not reccomend. We had ordered 2 old fashioned, 2 sushi rolls, a burger, cheese crusted shrimp tacos and oysters. The first old fashioned I had received was made with like orange pulp? I had mentioned it tasted weird, but it was whatever, still drank it. Then the second one came out with full on orange juice, so I sent it back. The remake was correct and was really good. We had ordered oysters as an appetizer, which didn’t even come out until after our food. They did tell us initially it’d be a 10 minute wait because they were frozen and we agreed to wait, but that was well past the 10 minutes. At one point we even said we didn’t want them anymore, but they eventually were taken care of. They ended up not being my cup of tea, but may be someone else’s. My husband didn’t even try them. Although, I understand this is not a sushi place, the advertisement and the presentation are there. It was some of the worst sushi I had, but my expectations were not high. Rice was soggy, cream cheese was just like squeezed on there like a log so all you tasted was cream cheese, and everything was mushy. My husband got the monster. Burger was dry. Everything was dry on the burger. There was no “sauce” to pull it all together. Could he have added something, yes, but the burger itself doesn’t have a sauce to go with it. He literally was dipping it in the sushi sauces. I had gotten the cheese crusted shrimp tacos. They were really good, just again, dry. There was no sauce or pico or any sort of spice pulling them together. Could I have added something, yes, but per the menu it didn’t have anything on them. I use the salsa that came with the chips, which was alright. The charro beans were okay. Our server was great, she got everything we needed, refilled our drinks, took our orders when we were ready and helped us along. As I stated, the appetizer took forever and the food took a while to come out as well. Our drinks came out quickly though. When things were wrong, they were fixed. The atmosphere was loud. I didn’t know what to expect, as we had never been here. They had a live singer, she was great, but just during dinner rush I would have liked to hear my server talk. Other than that, the atmosphere was fine in my opinion.
The arrachera aguachile was not good at all. The sauce they used tasted like tamarind, the cucumber was cut in huge chunks and so was the onion. None of the food that we ordered was worth the price. Will not be going again.
My wife and I decided to give this place a try! We’ve seen pictures online and thought “looks great!” It definitely was not. Walked in and was fairly empty. We thought that was good so we can get our food fast but that was not the case. It had taken 25 min after we sat down for someone to finally come by our table to get our drinks. We also ordered a queso fundido but we never received it. We received our food and it was so bland. No flavor whatsoever. I got the arrachera and it was tasteless. My wife got the enchiladas and it was too spicy to even digest. I also ordered a shrimp cocktail and received a big glass for it. Was excited and ended up only getting 3 tiny shrimps and the rest was avocado and onion. Then we were served by cans for our drinks lol. Never again will go eat there. Super expensive. Spent $83 for 2 meals
I was so excited to try this place after seeing the pictures on social media. The reviews were ok and only 3.8 stars, but decided to give it a try. Atmosphere was fare, very dark over the tables, difficult to read the black menus in that lighting, music a little loud. To start we ordered the Melted cheese with green Chiles. I asked the waitress what type a cheese they use, she responded, "mozzarella ". It definitely was not mozzarella, but moving on. I ordered the " Villa" which is a 12 Oz Ribeye, mashed potatoes, charros, 4 large gulf shrimp, guacamole, small salad w 2 bacon wrapped asparagus. It was almost $50, but I was sharing it so I was ok w that. I ordered the steak medium, which I usually ordered MED RARE, but I was sharing so went up in temp. When I received my meal the first thing I noticed was the shriveled up asparagus. It looked like they had been previously cooked and just reheated. The steak was cooked to med well, bone in, it was tough and grizzly, which is odd for a Ribeye. Normally w that cut its marbled, tender and flavorful. I didn't send it back because, although we were the only table in there, I didn't want to wait any longer for them to remake. The mashed potatoes were not fresh. They were reheated, dry and no flavor, I didn't even touch the charros. The shrimp were not the ones described and they gave me sliced avocado instead of guacamole. I didn't want to ruin my other guest's experience by sending anything back, so I just ate it. I was highly disappointed because their menu was extensive and I couldn't wait to come back to try their other dishes. I would definitely recommend training the wait staff on the ingredients used in their dishes and also if there were going to be substitutions, i.e. sliced avocado instead of guacamole and small shrimp, instead of 4 large gulf shrimp, they should inform the guest's. Possibly retrain the cooks on proper steak temps, the importance of cooking fresh and the impact reheating food has on the integrity of the presentation, as well as the food itself. My husband ordered the arrachera tacos. He liked them. The meat was flavorful and tender.
l should have read reviews prior to entering . I would give it less stars of possible. Terrible food had fajitas rice and beans. The rice was hard beans tasted like they came out of can. Not to mention restaurant was filthy fans full of dust menus dirty and silverware. On a positive note the server was very good. Steer clear of this one ☝️
The absolute worst dining experience. Place looks cute when you walk in but that is where the good ends. We sat ourselves, ordered two margaritas that tasted like flavored water, and then waited an entire hour for food while being one of only two tables. My husband asked for two different sauces on his enchiladas and they said no. It is either all red or all green. Guess flexibility is not on the menu. When the food finally crawled out of the kitchen the rice was cold and crunchy, the beans were cold and flavorless, and to top it off they completely forgot to ring in our kids meals. Impressive. We never send food back but congratulations they earned the honor. The manager asked if we wanted to order something else as if we were about to wait another hour. No thanks. We paid for our sad drinks and called it a loss. And just when we thought it could not get worse the short round manager, our server, and two other employees all stood at the register laughing while we checked out. Real professional. Save yourself the time, money, and taste buds. Run, do not walk, to literally any other place.
