It's always good. Only place I eat in the food court. Chicken teriyaki with noodles is my usual order and its always filling. Usually have leftover. No complaints
Delicious food! Great sushi! Good customer service. They have hibachi seating available as well.
Great service and the one young lady who usually works the register is always nice
Great food, cooked to order. Great prices. I would go every day.
The food is always good with fresh ingredients and the staff always courteous 9
I love this place great food good price everything is just perfect for everyone
Yummy food made right in front of you. Chicken, veggies, and noodles. Dumplings are also delicious!
Inexpensive ,really good food try the bento box its filling n taste great..
This is probably my favorite quick bite to eat restaurant on Bliss. for about $10 you can get a massive to-go box full of teriyaki chicken and noodles.. As well as a large (Texas sized) drink. This place in my opinion is the best restaurant they have in the food court that isn't a sit down establishment. If you want some non-sushi Japanese food, go to Sarku!
This place has some really good chicken teriyaki! I like to get it with the fried rice and veggies. I love stopping here whenever I'm in El Paso. The staff there is super nice and the food is cooked fresh right in front of you.
Excellent food, excellent price and better staff. 👍👍👍👍👍
Very good food and always the friendly staff. The portions are always generous in size that I always leave with a full stomach. They also have Bento boxes for lunch that include choice of rice or noodles, choice of meat, This establishment is located in the Fort Bliss, Texas exchange. So it is convienently located for any other needs you may have at the Exchange. I love Japanese style food, so if you have the same love or if you are interested in trying new types of food I will recommend Saruku Japan 🇯🇵
Food is fresh and delicious. Best part is they cook it right in front of you! If you have access to Ft Bliss Exchange food court I would strongly recommend.
Excellent chicken teriyaki!,always ask for the double with yummy yummy sauce!, favorite fast food joint at freedom crossing, big portions, great value!,miss the old guy giving samples and daisy, they were the dynamic duo of teryaki.❤🐔
It was in the food court at the Exchange mall on base. My oldest son told us about it. So we tried it. Excellent. We've been looking for a good teriyaki place. I know there's another Sarku or 2 around & we'll maybe try it. But very happy w the order. Use the app for $5 off your 1st order. If you don't mind a food court setting... AND you can get on base (if not, try another locale), then it'll be worth it. If you're really hungry, get xtra meat. Next time we're getting xtra veggies too. The original portions are ok, tho a lot of rice it seems. But still good. Oh... sorry. Get xtra sauce. That was the only complaint, if you want to label it as such, was it needs more sauce, more than the xtra we asked for. But we had plenty of leftovers & we have that Very Teriyaki sauce at home so... UPDATE: After looking up online, this is apparently the only Sarku in town. Hmm...
Been coming here for years, the high quality and tasty food has stayed consistent, I’ve never had a negative experience or anything but an awesome experience coming here. The only thing is it may be busy but they get through lines real quick! So even the wait time isn’t that bad even at their busiest! 10/10 would recommend.
Best restaurant on Fort Bliss. They do get busy during lunch. I hope they expand.
I go here about once a week, the teriyaki chicken with vegetables and steamed rice is the best. I don't order a drink side, I would if they had bottled Root Beer though. 😉
This place is top-notch! The staff is very friendly. And their servings are awesome. Everything's fresh and cooked in front of you. I always grab an order on the way home if I'm out on this side of town. There's usually people in line ordering here because they're so good. I hope the staff is well-compensated because they work their butts off!
Just as the description says, made to order dishes. You watch your food get made as you wait. I've come here many times, even if it requires the extra step of obtaining a visitor's pass to come onto the military base. The service is fast, efficient. Food is fresh, hot, tasty, plentiful and i always leave satisfied. Completely worth it!
Inside the Fort Bliss food court. Employees are very nice and are helpfully. I love the chicken, rice and vegetables!
Everything’s relative right? It’s a 5 star option for Bliss dinning. Decently fresh, definitely delicious. Upgrade to the fried rice. Overall positive value.
What an outstanding experience! Nomi is an anime/weeb style restaurant with plenty of anime lore and interior decorations. It is a Japanese restaurant with a nice variety between appetizers, main entrees, ramen/soups, and etc. I got to try to Crispy Pork Belly Entree and I have to say it was probably one of the best pork bellies I've had to date. Super flavorful and salted really well. The corn it came with was a japanese style elote almost but was crazy good. The rice was the weakest link because it was a little sticker that i prefer but it was still really good and paired wonderfully with all the other courses.
Very delicious food and most friendly service. Sooo good, I could eat it every day!

Food was good line was short but it took a bit to get the food
Food is great and staff is friendly and super helpful!
Always good. Price is reasonable for the amount of food.
Chicken teriyaki w rice special on Fri was awesome. I got the regular serving w spring roll and water for 9 bucks! When I tell you it is a large serving, OMG. My meal was 2 in one. When I saw the double meat order, that would have served 6! Check it out, it is on Bliss so if you can't get there to try it out, sorry for you, you're missing out.
One of the best places to eat in the freedom crossing food court in my opinion. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait but it is always well worth it! The go to option for me is always their teriyaki chicken special and i always ask for extra teriyaki sauce to be added over the chicken before they hand over my plate.
They cook it right in front of you! Not hibachi though. It’s good to get a quick bite and take it. Not if you’re expecting something great and magical. Fairly priced
Went there for lunch. The food was delicious. They cook the meat right in front of you. Staff was nice, could have been more friendly and helpful. Prices are about average.
Yum yum yum. Ask for extra sauce, you won't regret it. Also, get the bento box while they are available!
Great chicken perfectly seasoned, not under cooked/ slightly over cooked but it adds flavor so I can’t complain. Noodle’s weren’t to my liking but others who enjoy SarkuJapan have told me that they are the traditional noodles that you get in Japan. Otherall good service, faster then any fast food in the strip
Great food. Occasionally, the line just to order is long and then have to wait again till the order is ready. However, the food is great and a lot of people don't mind the wait.
Workers were chewing gum at register and cooking!

Very good food, but the entire staff is rude and could care less about their patrons! Seems like they all hate their jobs! Sad but true!
Rated 3 stars for good food. Service is horrible. Theres on female that works here that is the biggest morale killer I think ive ever met.
It's not the best but it's not the worst either But I will give it another try later and hopefully I have better results
Food is great! Sodas have a strange unclean taste, don't get drinks here.
Large serving sizes, decent taste. Lack of variety was disappointing.
The food is good but they say closing time is 18:30 but really it’s 18:15. Lady at the register gave me attitude when I said it’s not 1830 yet. Oh well. Food still decent.
It's decent nothing more nothing less.
Food was good. I order a plate and roll then I ordered another plate and I had to used the bathroom so I gave my friend the receipt and he went up to ask about the order since 2 people came up after me and ordered and they had a attitude about it. I heard about it from my friend after getting out the bathroom so I asked them about my order and the attitude problem so I just ask for my refund and I’m not gonna seek their services.
You like chicken with no taste? You want to overpay for a chicken bowl? You like being disappointed? Come on down to Sarku Japan. I got a chicken bowl today and it was blend as heck. Overrated option at Freedom Crossing. Look elsewhere because this isn't it.
Food looked ans smelled great, but i was a bit disappointed with the taste and the price. The vegetables and the white rice were both overcooked, and the spring roll was room temp and soggy.
Employee not wearing hair restraint device. No hat no net nothing. Ewww.

Their website says that they close at 1900 and the lady even told me they close at 1900. But I was refused service at 1817. They just lost a repeat customer....Ice complaint coming next!!!
Used to be good and fast... then they changed staff and the wait is up to 20 mins just to wait for them to cook the food. Not worth it.
Taking away the combo and charging folks 24$ for the same amount of food it provided is literal highway robbery
Over all the food was alright, but waiting an extra 30-40mins for them to warm up the food is wild to me. I came 15mins after they opened up, and they couldn't even take my order of a Bento BOX. I informed them that I could wait with the order being made, and the cashier looked at the cook and he shook his head no. Service in the store needs to improve and have the good ready before opening up, so that they don't have people wait an extra 30-40mins. I do not know if anyone else had this problem, but it seemed today they started to do this. I use to come here every so often and get food, it's delicious but not worth the wait and attitude from the employees.
