The food was ok. A bit disappointed considering how much they are charging for a combo meal. I got the pick 2 combo and got a soup that is very sweet and a sandwich overly loaded with mustard which I absolutely hate. Only that make up for the visit was the customer service and cleanness of the place. But they really need to work on the flavors of their foods.

Listen, I am aware that good help is hard to find these days. I am not OK. With spending over nine dollars on a sandwich that literally had no flavor and was obviously thrown together in a rush. I am not OK with spending over eight dollars on a smoothie That is smaller than my sunglasses and wasn’t mixed properly. The quality is not worth the cost here at any Panera location and it is my hopes that this feedback reaches the company to do better.

This caesar salad was $13 and was about 1/4 the size of an average salad. Do not waste your money here. Using a Red Bull to show the ridiculous size.

Don't get the coffee. It was melted and tasted like they poured hot coffee over ice and added way to much milk. I could have made a better coffee with my kerig. Also the soup bread bowl came with the tiniest amount of soup... like a little kid would still be hungry after eating it.

I have given this location 2 chances . The first time I ordered a half sandwich soup combo, soup was great but the sandwich was tuna and it only had about a tablespoon of tuna that didnt even cover the small piece of bread. So I tried same sandwich a month later it was same problem no tuna. I used to work in a deli and last I remember you can spread the tuna, makes no sense for the price. So i dont go to Panera at all.

They close around 9 pm and they will roam around your table by 8:45 pm if you are sitting and eating just to show that it’s your time to get out

We occasionally order food from this location through the app. I strongly advise you check your order before leaving the restaurant. Virtually every time we order from here something is missing in the order. Food is also overpriced for what you get. This location shows why Panera is on the decline.

Worst Panera location I’ve been to. No drive thru so I had to go in. Tried the vanilla latte and it was so light, just cream and sugar, no coffee. Tried to get it fixed and that didn’t go well. Communication was weird in this building. Left with no drink and just had my sandwich. The sandwich was made nicely, wrapped well, made with care- but the meat didn't look like it was kept well. Bathrooms were very filthy. 10-5-2025

Quite slow service even with so many staff around. Also a very dirty establishment - from tables, drink stations to floors. They are the opposite of Panera's other locations. I wouldn't recommend. Not worth the price or wait.

I ordered a Southwest Ranch salad and it had a long strand of hair on top. I was so disgusted and disappointed that I didn’t even bother going back to the location for a replacement. When ordering through their app, they claim to do quality checks on the food orders. It seems they skipped this step in the process. I won’t be going back to the Elk Grove Panera location due to this mishap.

Very disappointed in the value and quality you get for what I consider an expensive lunch. I spent $14.21 on this?!? With a 2$ tip. I received a spicy sandwich, bread and NO drink. If I ordered a drink this would have been around 17$ with no tip. I ordered the Spicy chicken sandwich. They were out of the normal bread so I substituted sourdough bread. I thought, with bread being their thing, it would have been a roll, but it was sliced sourdough sandwich bread. The spicy of this sandwich is generic buffalo sauce. Nothing unique or tasty. Hardly any other condiments on there. The food wasn’t old or stale and my disappointment with the sauce is a relative opinion…. But for this amount of money I expect more. I was still hungry after eating.. the choices around town for 14-17$ are waaaay better! So unless you’re rich, and value has different meaning in your world, Panera isn’t worth it. FYI- that is the entire sandwich in the picture, not half. That is 100% what I received.
