Pretty great service for a Christmas party and for how busy it was. The ambiance is loud and busy. No separation of groups, constant noise and conversation. Hubby and I had meatlovers, chicken Ceasar salad and broccoli with mizithra with minestrone soup and tiramisu. Gin and tonic and old fashioned
This is my favorite Old Spaghetti Factory location! Every time we have been here the new general manager Kate Ayers has stopped by to check in on us while dining. If you are looking for a great dining experience this is the place to go!
Made a reservation the day before eating at the OSF. Our server was outstanding and wonderful. Isabel/Izzy was warm, friendly, and provided a perfect dining experience. The food was delicious, the environment is lively/warm/inviting, and I recommend having the full 3 course experience. We had an appetizer, our soup/salad, our entrees, and took our deserts (chocolate cake & cheesecake) home but enjoyed our ice cream at the restaurant. Please visit the OSF Elk Grove location, you won't regret it!
We came here for a family lunch to catch up and the atmosphere was quiet to carry on a conversation without interrupting music or from other patrons. Bathrooms were clean. The staff service was attentive to our group and food was served hot. One meal was rewarmed for one of our party who likes hotter food.
I was absolutely charmed by this restaurant. The atmosphere is lovely, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food is simply delicious; I tried a dish that won me over on the very first bite(Lasagna). The drinks menu is fantastic, offering a wide variety of options including beers, cocktails, and wines. I also really appreciated that they have a great selection of non-alcoholic drinks. It's the perfect spot for a pleasant and relaxing evening out. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes from their menu. I highly recommend it! Plus: Kids friendly!
Absolutely loved my dining experience at Old Spaghetti Factory in Elk Grove, CA! The charming ambiance, attentive staff, and delicious pasta dishes left me delighted. From the classic decor to the mouthwatering flavors, it's a must-visit for anyone craving a delightful Italian meal. Will definitely be returning soon!
Amazing. Food was such a joy and extremely flavorful . You know when you eat so much and your stomach hurts and you get tired. Nope not once did that happen with us . The service was amazing . The staff were so warm and welcoming and always attentive to us. We got the white clay pasta . The chicken Miranda. The Italian soda. The cotton candy limeade. The sisclian bread . It was amazing . 5 stars for all of it .
We enjoyed our lunch! Service from Clayton was excellent. We never saw our drinking glasses empty. We got everything hot and prompt. Food good. Ordered kid's spaghetti with mestballs, chicken parmigiana, meat lovers with spaghetti, and taste of italy. Atmosphere loud and busy but acceptable. We were full and happy 😁
Overall is an alright family sit down restaurant. I do have to not the food quality has dropped substantially and the price has increased a lot. Other than that the food tastes and looks authentic in my standards. Spaghetti and shareable salad👇
recently dined at The Old Spaghetti Factory Tried their Pasta Classic - Mizithra cheese and browned butter. It is rich, cheesy, and full of flavor. The nutty taste of the browned butter combined with the salty Mizithra cheese makes it simple but incredibly satisfying. It’s definitely my go-to order next time. I also tried the Meat Lover’s treat, which comes with meatball, sausage, and meat sauce. It tasted ok. Can order if you’re craving something meaty. However, I still prefer the cheesy pasta. Another great thing is that the meal comes complete with bread, soup or salad, and dessert. It’s such a great value. Overall, a cozy place with generous portions and classic comfort food.
I came to Spaghetti factory for a friends birthday, customer service was great. I got chicken parmesan and veggie minestrone soup. The soup was very bland, and had more cabbage than anything else, the spaghetti that came with the chicken parmesan was bland and I've had jar sauce from grocery store that tasted better! (Chicken parmesan was very good!)This was my first time at this location and sad to say between the prices and lack of flavor I probably will not be returning.
This location is lacking in customer service. Our server was extremely polite and friendly but it took forever to get our orders to the table. Food was just alright and if you look closely you probably will find a minestrone soup with nothing much but broth. Very disappointing overall
It was good until a few months ago; actually, it was one of my favorite places to go here in the city. The food went downhill, would not pay what they're asking for anymore
We went to this spot for lunch because my son received a voucher for doing well in school. I've lived close to here for many years and never cared to visit here. Just as I thought it wasn't anything special. Waitress was nice but that's about it. It wasn't good to me but it was horrible either.
It took over 20 minutes before the server came to the table. When she did come to us, she was rushing and pushy. She was not very pleasant. We were already about to leave, but we're so tired amd waited this long, we unfortunately... stayed. I will take the blame for the rest being not as good as I hoped, cold gross artichoke dip, etc, since the major red flag was right off the bat. Also... if you have to ASK where the appetizer menu is because its not on the actual menu, don't bother. It was in the dark corner of the table on the alcohol menu. Its not on the regular paper placemat menu. Again, my fault, we should have left. Also, the prices are ridiculous as is everywhere.
My husband and I come here rarely. Most of the time it takes a while for a waiter to show up and the food is ok, but today was worse. After being seated no waiter showed up, not even to bring water. We waited more than 20 min. I had to ask the front desk who our waiter was. She went to get someone and that person took our order really fast. We asked her if we can get bread and she said she was closing and our waiter will show up. But still didn't give us a name. I saw people getting seated and served right away. Still no one showed up. I asked the front desk person, which was another person, who our waiter was. She said she will find out and let us know. Then after she found out she told us a table of 7 was being served. Usually I have patience to wait, but this was a ridiculous amount of time. We had to walk out. Worst experience I've had at a restaurant.
Went with my mom day after her birthday. It was very slow on a Tuesday. Empty cups. Had to ask for plates for bread. Bread ran out. Nothing. Our waiter was kind enough to tell us he had to scoop the ice-cream we paid for. I am not a person that leaves reviews.
