I’m from New York, so originally, we’re bagel snobs. This is the first bagel joint that I genuinely enjoy. They have an endless amount of options, yet they keep it so simple and to the point. If I were you, I would not think twice about ordering one of their delicious bagels!

Best bagel sandwich I've had in a while, fresh turkey fresh bagels, fresh ingredients. Also alot of fresh baked goods made daily and plenty of drinks too choose from. They also have their own home made cream cheese. I had a turkey sandwich with cheese and veggies and I almost ordered another one it was so good. Staff is. Very friendly highly recommended, 5 star

Oh my gosh I LOVE this place. Best bagel I’ve ever had. Mmmmmm. I’ve had egg ala something and bagel sandwich and banana walnut muffin with milk. You can order your sandwich as you like, you can choose the flavor of bagel from various kind, you can choose cheese, you can have your bagel toasted or untoasted, the staff was really nice and friendly. I highly recommend “cheese everything” bagel, it’s crispy on top, great for a sandwich. Vegetables are crispy and fresh, slices of ham are thick and juicy, just... mmmmmm experience. I’m just visiting here but if I were living in Encino I would come here every morning. Thank you for everyone who works here.

Very good bagels and good service. Nice selection variety and I had a bagel sandwich while I was there and it was mighty tasty. They even mentioned a special that was on and I got a free drink with my purchase.

The Service: The staffs here were working in super efficient speed! They got through the line very quickly. All of them were so polite & helpful. Great customer service! The Bagel: So many to choose from!! I love my savory bagels especially cheese flavor. I wanted to try all of them! Freshly baked, just came out from the oven! Can't get better than that~ The Parking: Parking lot on the ground floor at the back & underground parking (free)

My wife and I stopped by this Western Bagel inside Encino Courtyard today. I got the hot turkey sandwich in a blueberry bagel and my wife got her jalapenos cheese bagel. They give a lot of cream cheese on the bagel so remember to ask for it on the side. There indoor seating and also outdoor seating here. The customer service here is amazing and there enough parking in the back lot.

Stopped in for a quick bagel snack. They have a good selection of bagels and cream cheese selections so I'm sure you can find one you like. Our server Lily was really cool and pretty quick. My favorite item on the menu is the Nova Lox on an everything bagel.

This time, the service was good. And the bagel was very good. We ordered 2 salomon and cream cheese bagels and 2 coffees. All good.

I don't live in the area, but I come here occasionally to run errands. I was craving a cream cheese bagel, so I stopped here before returning home. Their bagel was fresh and delicious. They put a thick layer of cream cheese on your bagel- yummy! So many options to choose from, sesame bagel, salted bagel, cheese bagel, plain, onion bagel, etc. Nice outdoor seating area. Still trying to figure out the parking situation; I just found parking on the street.

Vegan and conventional cream cheeses are offered, as well as, veggies and animal proteins. A selection of traditional European pastries are also presented. Sandwiches are served in clear plastic boxes for easy takeout. I found the coffee to be rich and flavorful. Parking is free, both underground and on a surface lot. Be careful, exiting these lots can be difficult. There are wheelchair ramps, elevators, and ADA compatible bathrooms.

I ordered on line. I showed up to pick up at 5m past the time I was given, no one had even started the order yet and 2 more pick ups were waiting longer than I was. Nothing new at this store, sorry to say

The bagels as well as the pastries are decent. The shop itself is fairly dirty. The tables, floors and chairs could use regular cleaning.

Place is great bagels are very good the service is okay besides getting skipped in line like I wasent there! will return and will recommend to friends & family

What an absolute mess. No idea if it was because it was Mother’s Day or if this is how it usually is but it was utter chaos. No one telling customers where to go. Nobody lining up. Nothing ready when it was supposed to be. The food was fine. I’ve had worse bagels. But I don’t know if I’d go back. Not worth the hassle.

My issue is that so much butter was added to the bagel that it leaked through the second bag I was given (after asking for a replacement because the first bag also had butter smudged all over it and got on my purse)…got back to my car and had butter all over my pants! Perhaps management could just remind the lovely people preparing food that heaps of butter are probably not necessary and that clothes can be ruined this way. Many thanks…

Never processed my online bagel pre-order for Yom Kippur break fast. IYKYK. Refused to attend to it when I brought it to the manager and forced me to get in line because others had been waiting a half hour. Blamed the third party administrator as if that’s a comfort when you’re fasting and in charge of bagels. What is the point of being a brand loyalist who tackles things early if this is the reward? That is the important life lesson I’ve learned on this holy day. Forever elsewhere for bagels!!!

Worst, customer service. I ended up getting a refund though the service I ordered with. Keep your bagels and your attitude, it's not worth it.

I went yo pick up an order for uber,they said it wasn't showing up on their system.the uber support called them to try to get them to make the order and the lady hang up on her

I was seating there watching the employees for about 3 hours for the police officers come and take a report. I could not believe my eyes, how dirty and careless the employees were handling the food ( specially when they had no costumers). Please be very careful when you go to this locations, when no one is around they use their hand to handle bagels (no gloves). The costumer service is horrible and TREVOR that worked as a closing manger on 6/3/2017 is a THIEF. He went through my bag and helped himself with all the cash that I had, when no one was looking. I am taking him to small claim court and already have a police report but i wanted make sure this does not happen to anybody else.

Making people wait in line when they phone in an order is ridiculous, especially where there is another line dedicated for mobile order pickup. Your setup shouldn't make me wait in line with dine-in customers when I order for pickup.

Walked in with fiance for a traditional. (un)Greeted by zombie staff who mumbled and spoke very softly without any animation. Placed order and given wrong directions to restroom (corrected by other SLIGHTLY more alive zombie-employee). Had to stand at cash register while she prepared our order - no number like their Studio City location. Took forever. Had lettuce on the lox/cream cheese bagel. When fiance returned from restroom, she asked me where the lox is and I honestly told her that I think it was under the tomato. Felt like being in a morgue, slow, and when she raised the lox issue, "that's all???" the employee said that she would have to pay $3.50 for more if she wanted more. Two lattes, two bagels = $24. Never return.

Terrible service. I waited for my order for almost 30 minutes, there was only ONE bagel. Super aggressive and rude employees. Avoid this place and save your time.

Please don't make your employees come in sick, the poor employee that helped me, had glossy eyes and as reaching for my bagels SNEEZED and had to excuse herself. She washed up right there in the public kitchen. You could tell she was not comfortable and of course not good for public either, if someone is not feeling well, don't make them come in, yikes! Be kind to your employees and understand when someone is not well, for not just the employee but the public as well,

My daughter walked in today and was helped by Amber, the manager with blue hair. Amber was extremely rude with a disgusting attitude from the very second she walked in. We always loved other western bagel locations and were greeted very nicely, but everytime we come to the Encino location Amber's behavior is always unacceptable and the way she acted today was my last straw. She even turned and got mad at her employee in front of all the customers. If thats how she treats them in front of customers, I can't imagine how rude she is when no ones there. Shes extremely unprofessional to be so called "the manager" and spoke to corperate about her behavior.

There’s two people in line and they give me the wrong order. Really? Employees also need to be asked to change/put on their gloves after going in the back. Should not need to be asked by the customer to practice basic hygiene.

For the love of god, please have the staff write down our orders! For the past 4 times that I’ve been to this location, they have gotten our order wrong, they take your order by memory NO PAPER, NO NOTES and then keep asking the same questions “did you say bacon?” “Did you say to cut it” “which bagel did you say?” OMG please write down our orders because even after all those questions my order is still wrong and I paid extra for cream cheese just so they can forget it AGAIN on my breakfast sandwich today 😑 I understand times are hard and people can be mean to employees but if you really don’t want to make my order correct PLEASE just tell me, I understand, I WILL HELP YOU! I will put on an apron, some gloves, hop on back there and make it correctly. I can’t keep eating dry bagels with no cream cheese PLEASE WRITE DOWN OUR ORDERS 🫠

It’s a stressful experience. The manager skipped us twice in line. I asked if we could go ahead and order and she raised her voice and started explaining to me how to order. I asked her to please stop. Someone else took our order and they left us at the counter for a long time. We eventually just left. We never got our food. This is the second time I’ve had a disappointing experience here. I won’t be returning.

I have been coming here for years all of a sudden when you call in a phone order you have to wait in line! That is crazy which is making me give you a bad review. you need to change this! what is the point of calling if you have to wait in a long line! On-line & phone orders should be the same!! VERY DISAPPOINTED! Happy to give a good review when you correct this!

And why even bother asking if you want the bagel toasted if you never actually toast them? They aren't worth the hassel and definitely not worth the money. Just go to literally any other bagel shop. This location is an utter disaster.

She was also very slow and seemed miserable when making my sandwich and when I realized she was making it wrong l asked her about it because I have never seen other locations make the sandwich like that. Her response was "That's not how it works here!" Once again, very aggressively. I asked if she can put the missing ingredients in my sandwich and instead she wrapped them in foil and just threw it in the bag. Not only was she rude to me and other customers, but she was also rude to her own employees. By the time it came to paying I was already fed up with her attitude and couldn't wait to leave. I asked for her name, and again, her response was aggressive, almost like she was mocking me. Interestingly, the corporate phone number was on the bag, so I spoke to them because that type of behavior is unacceptable. It doesn't take a lot of energy to be nice! Safe to say I won't be back.

I just ordered 2 lox bagels traditional style and the girl got it all wrong! I am so mad about this. I loved this place but the last 3 times my order was wrong and I was already home. I asked twice for the person serving to check my order is correct and they got it wrong everytime. On this occasion, the girl not only got it wrong but she wrote it down and still messed up. She added egg to a lox sandwich!!! With no cream cheese!!!!!! 😢 the avocado was a sliver that look like it was smeared on from leftovers.!!! I can be reasonable and understanding but this takes the cake!!! Plus charging me a ridiculous amount to get my orders wrong. I will stick with the Van Nuys one. UGH!!!!!!!! GO TO EINSTEIN in Woodland Hills.
