Esta es una gran cantina que se tiene que conocer cuando visitas Ensenada, la música en vivo es un clásico y los músicos pueden tocar el estilo que les pidas, siempre hay un gran ambiente y muchas personas, cada que voy a Ensenada voy a esta cantina por el gran ambiente que se tiene.

Todo excelente en este mega clásico lugar Ensenadense, favorito de los locales, conocido y visitado por muchos famosos, donde te encuentras con conocidos de la infancia y se han reunido hasta 4 generaciones en algún momento especial o dia festivo, más de 130 años siendo la cantina mas visitado por muchos.

Muy divertido y con buen haciéndote. Hay variedad de bebidas. Me gusta el concepto de cantina con rocola. Derrepente andan por ahi los mariachis y nada mejor que pedir una canción en vivo. El dia que fui no tenian pago can tarjeta algo que debería haber para estos tiempos ya que es preferible ese medio de pago. Solo pago en efectivo y se paga en cada roda de bebidas. Dentro de lo demás un muy bien lugar para ir a tomar unos tragos y pasarla muy bien. Por cierto una de las cantinas mas viajas con una gran historia.

Pasamos de rapido a tomar unas bebidas, un lugar muy a gusto para echar un par de bebidas y botanas. Las medidas de las bebidas preparadas un poco pequeñas a mi gusto, pero muy ricas. La cerveza de la casa recomendada.

Exelente lugar para oír Mariachi y Música acompañado de cerveza de su preferencia o bebidas muy recomendado puede comer cacahuates hay a la venta por bolsas de medio kilo y lo tradicional que se tiran las cáscaras al piso ! Es mi cantina favorita en Ensenada El ambiente es único. Puedes ir en tenis o más formal; como quieras realmente Cervezas de muchas marcas y tragos internacionales En verdad es un lugar auténtico para pasar un gran rato con amigos Puedes bailar al son del mariachi o de los norteños

No mames el ambiente. Está justo a lado del bar de Papas & Beer y por ser viernes estaba suuuuper el ambiente con mariachi y banda inclusive mejor que Papas & Beer. Dicen que es el primero lugar donde se creó la margarita pero son solo especulaciones. Están en $100 cada una y súper bien preparadas. El servicio no es el mejor ya que pedimos el precio de las sabritas y nos dijo que lo buscáramos en el menú señalando un menú con las letras súper pequeñas pegado en la pared del fondo hasta arriba. Imposible de ver. En fin, nos quedamos sin probar nada de comida solo bebida pero independiente de eso todo excelente.

Gran ambiente, es una cantina con mas de 100 años, se llena mucho a partir de esas 6:00p.m., 100% tradicional, tienen su propia cerveza y es muy buena. No hay comida pero puedes pedir cacahuates o carne seca deliciosa por una módica cantidad. El servicio es bueno para lo lleno que se pone. ¡Larga vida a cantinas así!

Papas & Beer is definitely a fun experience! Drinks are average priced for the tourist area. We didn't eat there but went for the vibe. They've got some really strong guys that flip people upside down and it's so much fun to watch! Definitely worth checking out!

We went there on our vacation around 1030 in the morning, when they were just opening. We got a great table near the bar. The music was fun. We ordered 3 beers and 3 shots. They have a famous tradition, of going around blowing loud whistles. They then offer to fill your mouth with tequila, and then proceed to shake your head while still blowing the whistle. Then they grab and turn you upside down, and shake you some more up and down. It is hilarious to watch. Who knows how much that cost!

Está cantina es un icono es Ensenada, conserva su toque antiguo. Sin embargo, suele estar saturada, los meseros muy groseros. Vale la pena ir aunque puede no ser la mejor experiencia.

Muchas tradición en este lugar desde 1886, pero está llenísimo. Solo entramos por una cerveza para conocer y ya.

Emblemático de Ensenada, con ambiente 100% de cantina local un imperdible si vienes de fuera. Los precios son mas altos que los normales pero si vale la experiencia. Aseguran ser los creadores de la margarita pero su sabor no me encanto y mi corazon frontera norte me hace decirles que en cd. Juarez es donde se originó la margarita 🤭 pero en general buen lugar.

La cantina Hussong’s es un lugar con mucha historia que se encuentra en ensenada, Baja California. No es lugar lujoso, pero sí auténtico. Es ideal para quienes buscan historia, música en una atmósfera única como en del viejo oeste, donde puedes ver a los cantineros preparar las bebidas y a los meseros ocupar un lugar muy particular en la vieja barra de madera Es el tipo de lugar donde disfrutas de una buena bebida a muy buen precio, $120 la cubeta, el único detalle es que destapan todas juntas. La bolsa de cacachuates tiene un precio de $100 para cumplir con la tradición. La cantina cuanta con el permiso #002 la segunda licencia que fue otorgada para la venta de alcohol en ese estado y se convierte en un emblema. sin duda alguna un lugar lleno de historia que tienes que visitar en el hermoso puerto de ensenada

Un lugar emblemático, nunca falta el mariachi en vivo, una cantina tipo José Alfredo Jiménez, con un par de pantallas para ver deportes mientras disfrutas de la auténtica margarita o una cerveza bien helada, claro con sus típicos cacahuates cuya cáscara va directo al piso, sin remordimientos!!! 🤘😁

Hubbs and I went here because we saw someone getting picked up and turned upside down by the server. It was hilarious. Once inside, we ordered beer and people watched. To be honest, it was a little loud and some of the customers paid to get picked up and shaken upside down with a shot in their mouth all at once - some of those customers have no business getting picked up (they were very large people) I know some of you may say "how mean" that is to say, but it's true. The poor server's back must have been broken at the end of the day! Salud. It's a fun place to people watch and listen to crazy music.

Crazy but fun. We didn't know what to expect but my wife said it was a highlight for a cruise stop in Ensenada and I'm glad we came. Although we were here reasonably early around midday the music was loud and the staff were doing their thing to get everyone in the mood.... So much whistle blowing and people being turned upside down and shaken... Still haven't worked out why and what purpose but it seemed fun... Hate to be a lady without appropriate support of you get what I mean. If you are up for a laugh so yourself a favour and experience it.

This spot in downtown Ensenada was worth the visit. While the prices seemed a bit high at first, their portions were very large and American style. When we visited, the music was blasting. In turn, this can make this a great spot to party, but not have indepth conversations with your party.

Es una cantina muy tradicional en Ensenada, sin embargo, la variedad de botanas es muy limitada y se trata de frituras de paquete, si acaso preparadas con alguna salsa. La variedad de cervezas es adecuada, aunque los precios son más altos que el promedio en la ciudad. El ambiente lo pone la gente y es muy concurrido. Difícil conseguir mesa, Pero el ambiente es el mejor del rumbo.

Wanna feel young? In a dance mood? This is the spot for you. AND ITS BEEN AROUND FOR EVER! Lots of youngsters, people doing shots and very very loud music. So this spot is really not for dinner and certainly not child friendly OR vegetarian-friendly - although we requested a vegetarian pizza and they did deliver (it was too cheesy so we left it half way after taking a ton of cheese out, yuck). Order drinks - we got a beer and a Michelada which was okie... Good spot to watch sports as it has a sports bar feel. Wish we spoke Spanish because no-one understood English (not their fault!). Every time someone had a shot, the servers kept whistling on top of the loud music, which is slightly mad. OR maybe, I am just too old for this! LOL :) But I am giving this place a 3 star because it's an experience and because many people like the clubby feel to the restaurant.

It's a party vibe. You're most likely already drunk coming in, so that's a good start to get in the mood for this place. If you're sober, you're gonna be annoyed with the loudness of the place and the constant whistling from the tequila shots. The food was bland and not that good, but the table side guacamole was great. The service was lacking and very slow, and we didn't even go on a busy day. Drinks are decent. Prices seem cheap if you're from the US but for Mexico it was pretty expensive. Went for the experience and probably won't go again.

Review of the nightclub: This is not it man, and for one reason alone - NO DANCE FLOOR. You walk in and it's a huge space with great soundsystem, lighting, and visuals. But the entire place is filled with tables and you have to buy a certain number of bottles to get a table. You can't just buy drinks at the bar and hit the dance floor. This place is completely out of control and has no proper management. It was so overly crowded that it was hard to even breathe. The servers were pushing people through, and although there’s an arm detector at the entrance, it wasn’t even being used when I was there. The worst part—while inside, a large quad ran through the area, destroying stands and injuring people. My mom’s leg was pinned under the quad along with another woman’s. Do you think anyone from management or staff came to help the injured? Absolutely not. Thankfully, my mom “only” ended up with a badly beaten ankle, but she’s still having trouble walking. The other woman couldn’t even get up. I will never return to this place—not just because of the horrible incident, but because there’s zero surveillance, safety, or responsible management

We asked for top shelf tequila and they said Patron was the best they had. The margarita was way too sweet. It just wasn’t fun at all. We got one drink and then got the heck out out.
