Beautifully designed little spot away from the tourists to get authentic and delicious pasta and pizza. We ordered the Carbonara pasta and a Porta Portese pizza and both were phenomenal. The Carbonara, in particular, was rich and flavorful, and the bacon was incredible! Prices were non-touristy and portions were generous. Definitely a place to remember for our next visit to the area. Couldn't be happier!

Extremely good pizza! I can't comment on the ambiance inside, as we took the pizzas to go. But the owners were very friendly. And as I said, the pizzas were very, very good! If you want a table, be sure to reserve in advance.

I've been coming to this place for over 10 years. I've seen it evolve and change its look and decor, but what's remained the same, and most importantly, is that the pizzas are still the same. What a spectacular thin crust! Even the simplest one has a killer flavor. The cold cuts with buffalo mozzarella are incredibly delicious. They have tons of dishes, burgers, pasta, and 1000 kinds of pizzas. Every time I come here, you'll call me crazy, but I order the grilled chicken, something so simple. I don't know how it can be so delicious. Congratulations to the whole team because the truth is, the years go by, but everything is still delicious. By the way, we can't forget the tiramisu and the various desserts you have. It's the only place where I usually sin. If you come around here, not stopping at Pizzeria Scalo Merce is a crime.

As soon as I moved to Erba (Como), I went for pizza at this pizzeria/restaurant recommended to me by a guy who works at a bar where I had an aperitivo. The pizza is nothing short of excellent, the long ones, not the circular ones, which, personally, I find better. Thin, crispy dough, and well-topped. I usually never finish a whole classic (round) pizza, but this one is. Welcoming pizzeria, excellent staff, drinks as well, and the bill was reasonable. The first course also met my expectations. Definitely worth a try. Best to book in advance. I think I'll go often whenever I feel like pizza or want to eat somewhere nice 💯💯💯🇮🇹🇮🇹 .

4 formaggi and 4 stagioni pizzas were very good! Real taste, very thin dough and crispy crust, great house wine, tasty salads with beef, excellent 👌 and not so expensive - a pizza is around 10€, house wine 1l is 12€. Also, very nice and cozy place, nearby is the nice cathedral, so everything is just perfect.

Pizza ovale senza crosta, ben cotte, e digeribili, due tipi: le classiche 9€ e le scalo merci 11€ molto farcite. Hamburger enormi con contorni vari. Parcheggio grande ma in settimana sempre pieno a mezzogiorno.

Had dinner there. The place is cozy and well-decorated (I loved the vogue-style walls and menu). The staff were friendly, but perhaps a little too apprehensive when asking if everything was okay. Overall, I recommend it!

Excellent thin-crust pizza, packed with ingredients. Quick and friendly staff, beautiful and slightly chic decor...perhaps a little dim, but I think the soft lighting was intentional. The tiramisu had a small flaw: the ladyfingers weren't moistened enough with coffee, making it a bit stringy. The pizzas were slightly above average, but the owner offered us coffee and liquor. Definitely recommended.

Ho assaggiato solo la pizza al prosciutto e funghi (abbastanza farcita ma davvero troppo troppo sottile) e il crumble mele, cannella e mandorle che non era un gran che, un po' stopposa. L'ambiente è ben arredato e piccolino, il servizio è buono.

Four stars for the pizza because the ingredients are truly top-quality, a characteristic that's quite rare these days. It's a shame that the unfriendly attitude of the man at the cash register ruins the review and future visits to the restaurant. When we asked for a drink while we waited for our 9:00 PM dinner (unfortunately, the other bars in the area were closed), we were politely shooed away with absurd excuses. In reality, there were plenty of free tables, and he could have accommodated us without a problem, as there were only three of us.
