I had the lamb shoulder, and it was extremely well cooked. Perfectly crisp on the outside and tender the way it's supposed to be. Had the artichoke hearts as an appetizer. They weren't bad. Also tried the avocado pancakes with prawn, and they were really nice. The duck was fantastic as well.

Apparently this restaurant has been here for several decades - and you can see why. Brilliant location, superb food and professional service. Best for outdoor dinners in the Summer. In fact it's not open for lunch....... But dinner in the classical style is well worth waiting for.

Fabulous restaurant. Food is great, and a great atmosphere. Bit old fashioned perhaps, but that's not a bad thing. Believe they have seats outside during the summer.

This is hands down my favourite restaurant in the costa del sol and we have been coming back to it for 15 years+. Great views, lovely food, lovely staff. On the more expensive side, but it's well worth it for the amazing food & experience. Try the ribeye if a meat eater, you won't be disappointed 😉. We treat ourselves every holiday here as our go all out, dressed up, lots of food & drink spoil ourselves experience.

This is probably our favourite restaurant in the world. Great service, great food, fantastic extras all the way. If you want a special meal then try this restaurant. I recommend the tuna and salmon salad starter and the lamb shoulder. My wife loves the sole with coconut and prawns.

Fantastisch eten met unieke smaakcombinaties. De drie heren die ons bedienden lijken in het begin iet wat nors maar zijn echt heel vriendelijk en hebben ons een hele leuke avond gegeven. Wij vonden het zo lekker hier dat we er twee avonden op rij hebben gegeten!

Fantastic meal , both the rib eye and fillet were fantastic. No starters ordered but bread , olives and gazpacho on the table. Staff were friendly and easily the best place we’d eaten for the welcome and service in the last two weeks We were late to leave so photos show us last there and empty tables but it had a good atmosphere when we arrived

I visited this nice restaurant twice this summer. Very friendly staff and professional. Food taste was great. The main courses are big and could be shared if couple is not very hungry. The cost is very reasonable. I visited again this year 2021 post covid-19 and still give them 5 stars for everything. It’s amazingly consistent in everything ♥️ .. i love this place.

Booking is a must very busy restaurant but you can see why nice food with friendly multi-lingual staff only problem was the waiting time between courses but it was very busy so understandable.

Heerlijk gegeten bij dit restaurant. Reserveren is noodzakelijk want ze zitten erg vol! Wij waren een om 18:00 uur langs gelopen en hadden om 19:00 het laatste tafeltje weten te bemachtigen. Ik had de carpaccio als voorgerecht en de zalm in bladerdeeg als hoofdgerecht, erg genoten. Wel waren wij binnen 1 uur en 15 minuten zeker wel klaar dus lang tafelen zat er helaas niet in wat ik persoonlijk jammer vind maar dat heeft allemaal te maken met persoonlijke voorkeuren. Al met al lekker gegeten!

Restaurant met een leuk eenvoudig terras met een tippiisch Spaanse sfeer. De bediening is vriendelijk en vlot. Het eten zeer verzorgd, vers, en verrassend lekkere combinaties. De jarenlange familie traditie en ervaring is hier goed voelbaar. Het nodigd uit om terug te komen. Kindvriendelijk maar minder toegankelijk voor rolstoelgebruikers. Voldoende gratis parking in de nabije buurt.

Not worth the money. I guess I would rather pay for the buffet at my hotel. I had prawn soup, nice and warm with two big prawns in. Huge portion. I would have made a concentrate, and served only half, but more tasteful. Then the sole with veggies and potatoes. Tne sole was actually very good, but the vegetables tasted like frozen junk and the potatoes was big and old. Spain is the cradle of veggies for all Europe. Why does the best never reach middleclass restaurants? The acoustics inside is awfull, mostly because of the always noisy British.

Im 2018 war ich Stammgast, da ich etwa 500 m vom Restaurant entfernt wohnte. Also ging ich voller Vorfreude wieder dahin. Na ja. Wo war der.charmante Service? Weg. Der Cava war schal, wahrscheinlich der Rest vom Vortag. Das Glas Wein war viel zu warm. Vorspeise: Tunatatar mit Avocados. Mit einer Art Sirup übergossen, die Avocado sehr schwer zu finden. Dafür mit Blätterteig-Unterlage, weshalb auch immer. Nicht empfehlenswert. Hauptspeise: Sole an Champagnersauce. Also es war eher Creme, nicht Sauce. Einne Minute länger gekocht und man hätte sie schneiden müssen. Dafür war alles komplett geschmacksneutral. Bis auf die Trauben in der "Sauce". Auch diese Speise nicht empfehlenswert. Schade, hatte das Restaurant doch mal locker 5 Sterne verdient!

Das Ambiente und die Lage sind wirklich toll. Aber es fing schon damit an, dass die Reservierung falsch aufgenommen wurde. Unser Kellner war gelangweilt, verschüttete ständig die Getränke, weil er lustlos war. Wir fühlten uns nicht willkommen. Das Rinderfilet sollte Medium sein, war aber nur unten Medium, oben war es durch und angebrannt. Für die aufgerufenen Preise nicht empfehlenswert.

The food at La Alcaria de Remos is absolutely delicious, and the flavors are worth coming back for. Unfortunately, the experience was affected by the behavior of the staff, which was quite disappointing. With such excellent cuisine, I hope the service can improve to match the quality of the dishes.

Umm... I had the sole fillets with perri perri prawns and she had the beef stroganoff. Mine was ok, the beef was supposed to be with fillet beef...it was not...full of gristle and hard. Could not be cut with a steak knife. We were disappointed and when we told them they took it away and brought us the bill..

It used to be my fave place for almost a decade and I used to look forward, every year in our vacation, to go back a few times. Service was never the best, as they were always in a rush, but quality used to be good and lots of tasty “on the house” finger food was given which was cut over the years by quantity and quality to a little cucumber/ham sandwich and salty gazpacho yesterday. I always eat beef fillet and the last couple of times, I had ordered it, it was not cooked the way I had ordered it. When I complained, that it was dry and chewy, i was told “ it’s a different cow” sure it’s a different cow, but the same cut, so it shall be the same quality as days before. So we gave them the last few times “another try” and we returned, even though, we were disappointed the last few years already. We used to have great memories there and had nice evenings, so we always have it another try…. But yesterday was a bit too much to handle. Service again a nightmare, they don’t have enough staff to serve you in a proper way, always in a rush. First we sat in that little terrace across the street, but there were so many ants on the table/plates due to the bushes next to us, so we moved to the main terrace. White wine was served to warm, drinks empty for good 40 min without any one asking, if we care for more drinks. Time in between starter/main course way too long, without service in between. The phil-phil as starter was ok but not a wow and the 2 the beef fillet‘s we ordered, were another disaster. The pepper sauce this year tasteless, the steak too overcooked with a HAIR in my vegetables. Therefore, my meal was done before I even started to eat my main course. Sure, no one asked how we liked the food, therefore i waited 20 min with the hair on my plate to complain with no one coming, until I took my plate and walked into the restaurant to complain. Sure, they apologized but my appetite was gone. I would have had another glas of wine, while the rest of the family completed their meals, but no one asked.and I couldn’t get anyone to even take my order. When we asked for the bill, it took them 20 min and my meal (which I didn’t eat because of the hair) wasn’t removed, so I had to complain again. The restaurant is located on top of a hill, so the view is beautiful especially with a rising sunset, as well it’s the restaurant itself which is gorgeous with all the flowers and decorations but what’s the use, if the quality of the food isn’t great anymore and you don’t get served. They are just overwhelmed and therefore service and quality of the food has gone down. I would say, the last 4-5 times we visited, it was always an issue with food/service, but we gave it another try, but after yesterday’s disaster, I wouldn’t go back anymore. The beautiful view and the atmosphere of the restaurant itself do not overcome the non existent service and the quality of their food.

Start mit zwei Carpacios (Thunfisch & Rind), die zügig serviert worden sind. Qualität und Präsentation gehobener Durchschnitt, bestellte Biere waren fast schal. Wartezeit von Vorspeise zu Hauptspeise inakzeptabel lang (über 45 Minuten). Hauptspeise, Rinderfilet in grüner Pfeffersauce, Geschmack durchschnittlich und bemessen am Preis, kein Highlight. Ingesamt kann ich die fast durchgehend guten Bewertungen nicht verstehen, gerade da der Service miserabel ist. Wir kommen nicht wieder.

Wir waren mit 3 Golffreunden im Oktober 2025 in diesem Restaurant. Kurzform: Vorspeisen= große Portionen mittlerer bis schlechte Qualität Hauptgericht = große Portionen mittlerer bis schlechter Qualität Service = Katrastophe... Kellner "Bekleckert" meine Hose & Hemd mit Olivenöl, kein "Problembewußtsein", keinen Schadensersatz, keine Kompensation... nie mehr wieder...

Mal atendidos, media hora entre platos y calidad muy mediocre.

Mal servicio, te pierdes buscando el restaurante, comida con pretensiones, sin conseguirlo y muy caro. No volveré.
