First time there, and I have to say I will be back. My New Yorker bagel was the best I’ve had since I’ve been in Humboldt County. The thinly sliced onion, beautiful. The chew on the bagel beautiful. The tang in the cream cheese wonderful. I would suggest adding a thin slice of tomato or maybe two thin slices of tomato to help with the salt. Hands-down the best bagel place I will be back I didn’t take any pictures because I ate it so fast.

I've been coming here for a long time and the transformation has been amazing. Frankie's is this hidden little gem back in Redwood Acres that makes the best bagels and donuts. They have way more stuff to eat and drink that is equally mouth-watering but get a donut at the very least. The donuts are different and delicious and I cannot begin to explain the amount of taste and presentation. There is now tons of space to eat inside surrounded by a rotating artist's art that you can purchase. Did I mention everything is made in house? The other bagel/coffee/donut places in town seem to be not aspiring to Frankie's level of taste and customer service. Give Frankie's New York Bagels a try and I bet you'll be coming back.

Can't believe we had never checked this place out yet. Finally did and saw they are a fully functioning cafe inside one of the buildings at Redwood Acres. Bagel offerings, doughnuts, pizza, variety of hot drinks, for breakfast and lunch. Lots of room to sit and enjoy. Games and activities for kids. A DJ rolled in but we left before their set started. Definitely going back, and taking out-of-towners with us when they visit.

This is a must try!! If you are vegan or just tired of eating your same old bagels, this is your opportunity! I went there and I was pretty impressed by their vegan donuts (and I’m not vegan). Also they have fresh and tasty bagels. They offer brewed coffee which is perfect to complement the experience.

Tucked away and hidden in redwood acres is a bagel place with lots of bagel options and lots of toppings. They have donuts and coffee also. I had a onion bagel with garlic chives cream cheese, avocado and larapin and my husband had a jalapeno cheddar bagel with plain cream cheese, avocado and honey (idk either he's weird) both were so good. I had a cold brew salted caramel with my bagel because they have coffee ice cubes! My husband also got a box of donut holes, there was alot for the price on the box. Wonderful atmosphere and friendly employees.

Had breakfast here with the family today and loved their bagels and their service. The cafe is located inside the Redwood Acres with a large space and more than adequate seating. The service was very quick and the food was wonderful. I had the Pizza Bagel with cheese and eggs, open-faced. It was fresh and tasty. My wife had an everything bagel with cream cheese and loved it also. We had one of their doughnuts on the way out and it was mind-blowing. I would definitely recommend them over another local bagel shop which charges probably 3x as much for the same bagel but with fastfood quality and service.

These are the best bagels I have ever had. Crusty on the outside, chewy on the inside. Everything I could possibly want from a bagel and then it surpasses your expectations and blows your mind. I can't wait to go back for another fix of these bagels. The donuts on Sunday are a cool extra and bonus points for having vegan friendly options.

Absolutely delicious New York style bagels . Having spent the first 26 years of my life eating bagels in New York I will say that this was definitely one of the best I've had in the West Coast. Excellent fresh hot bagels at a hole in the wall spot out at redwood acres. Best bagel in town hands down. They always have unique flavors of bagels along with the traditional favorites. In-house specialty cream cheeses and hot coffee too. Eat here. It's the best.

The bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and donuts are so tasty. I absolutely adored the bagels and schmears that the previous owner got all of us in Humboldt hooked on, and I'm digging all the joys of the expansion under the new owners too! Thanks for continuing a great thing!

The dude Brandon who workers there is awesome, he was so friendly when helping me order and patient as I made up my mind. The bagels are 10/10 (we had the onion, lemon poppy, and everything) The donuts are amazing with my fav being the creme brulee and the strawberry pistachio. Must try this spot if vegan, they have vegan cream cheese and butter and most of the donuts are vegan too. Also we tried the Russian Tea Cookies and holy ‘moly, they bang.

Light and fluffy and perfect ingredients are almost nostalgic pizza bites, but not a hint of grease. I tried a GF bagel and liked it. They are a bit strange, but still good texture and flavor. The only downside is: they aren't open 7 days a week! But it's definitely worth the wait :)

Frankie’s NY Bagels is hands down the best bagel place in Humboldt County. They have solid quality bagels and are consistently good. I go there every week and they are always giving great service. The cream cheese is delicious and salty. Their bagels are soft yet crispy. The ingredients always well distributed and not slopped together like other places.

It may be a little out of the way if you’re just visiting Eureka, but it’s well worth the trip.

I have never had a poor or negative experience. Staff are always happy and helpful, they get to know their costomers by name and order. They are always adding to their menu and improving their services. I truly enjoy the atmosphere and Frankie's is one of my favorite breakfast spots in Humboldt County.

Hidden gem! Don’t be fooled by the location hidden by a fairground. This place has unique and delicious flavors on fresh New York style bagels. The sandwiches are huge with fresh ingredients. I’m a vegetarian and they had a great selection of vegan and vegetarian options. The homemade tapenade on my sandwich was so good and my boyfriend loved the combination of turkey, cream cheese and pepper jelly on his. We also tried one of the doughnuts which was also delicious and had a lemon lime glaze on it. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We would definitely love to come here again!

Frankie's Bagels is a must. Excellent food, an impressive variety of bagel sandwich combinations (hashbrowns on an breakfast bagel sandwich? Brilliant!), a rotating variety of fun donuts and treats, and reliably well crafted coffee bar beverages. Also... best cinnamon rolls in Humboldt (I've been on the hunt since moving to Humboldt). It's always so fun to see the art from local artists that's available for sale and without a doubt there's an adorable family with a kid playing "Hungry Hungry Hippos" they've borrowed from the Frankie's Bagel's game table. The staff is always SO lovely and helpful and on the rare occasion that a mistake was made to our order, they've been so gracious about amending the issue. And if you're looking for an easy way to treat your coworkers, their bagel chips are always a hit in our office! Can't recommend Frankie's enough, and am so excited to take friends and family when they come to town to visit.

A great place to visit inside Redwood acres. They have good bagels and toppings for bagel lunches or breakfast. My grandkids loved it! Only complaint is there's no whole wheat or multi grain bagels.

Frankie's is nestled away in a building off an unassuming bend. Frankie's, a New York-style restaurant in Eureka, provides easily accessible options for a variety of tasty sweet and savory delights. I ordered a passion fruit donut and a specialty bagel sandwich named "The New Yorker" on an everything bagel. I wasn't disappointed and nearly returned to get two more for the coming days. I encourage you come in and try it for yourself.

They would get more stars if they open more days and if they had a decent dark roast coffee. First, a bagel is more than weekend food for me. I usually grab one before work as a treat so I am hopeful they will open for the working stiffs on more than just Fridays. Currently as a Friday through Sunday place, it lends itself more to folks looking for a good start to their weekend than as a pre-work breakfast place. The new dining room is spacious for eating in, a nice improvement for sure. The bagels have a good chew to them and are delicious. The star of their show may be the infused cream cheeses.. jalapenos chives and more mixed into the cream cheese if you go for the small upcharge. This is great as no longer are your toppings falling off while you eat like they do when you eat a local competitor's bagels. I've dirtied my clothes a few times from that other place when my topping ends up slipping off the cream cheese! Another great thing Frankie's makes are their bagel chips! We picked up the cinnamon sugar chips and they are delicious. I should say were delicious, we ate through the large bag quicker than I'd thought possible! Lastly, I must complain a bit about the lack of a dark roast coffee. Perhaps I'm alone here, but I don't really like bitter tasting light or medium roasts (yes I know they have more caffeine). Please add a good French roast coffee and I will adjust this post! Overall, a place I recommend you go check out, you will be glad you did.

The ONLY issue I have with Frankie's is that they use almond milk in their donuts yet they do not advertise allergy warnings. I had a pretty severe reaction on one visit, not knowing they had almond in their product. It was only after I asked staff they they stated they use almond milk. I asked that they put up a warning on three separate occasions and they still have nothing posted. So please BE AWARE if you have nut allergies. Avoid the donuts.

Just not that good. Frequently dont have items that are listed on their menu

The bagel itself was good. Have to ask for it extra toasted otherwise it’s hardly toasted. I got cream cheese and veggies with an egg. The egg is super weird. It’s like baked in an oven in a pan.I’m not really sure but it was rubber tasting and had a weird color to it like greenish. Kinda expensive as well. But the bagel itself was good, just don’t get the eggs. The environment was nice, it was big with an area for kids with toys and coloring which was an awesome idea.

Eggs on bagel sandwiches are horrible. Really weird consistency and texture and flavor. I Asked for a printed receipt. They have a receipt printer. Didn’t give me the option on the screen for printed receipt. Employee working the register said she would get me one. We were there eating for about 30 minutes, never received a printed receipt or explanation.
