Really loved this restaurant. Was busy when we went but got seated very quickly. Service ran like clockwork. Everyone was very friendly and nice. The food was really great. Priced fairly. This is probably one of my new favorite spots in Evansville.

Sushi is always great. Hibachi isn't bad either, but I just come for the sushi. Have tried almost all rolls and pieces no complaints so far.

We make it a point to go to Wasabi every time we are in town to see family. The portions are huge and the prices are amazing. We typically get the Hibachi for 2, but this time opted to try the chicken yakisoba and pink lady roll. Both were phenomenal. This place is a gem and can get quite busy so I highly recommend getting there close to open.

Our server Kole was outstanding! The food was amazing. Great value. Tofu lunch special was filling and packed with flavor. We will be back!

We came for lunch. It's nice they have such a variety and it isn't all sushi because not everyone loves sushi. What we chose was delicious. I did miss the ginger slices, but it was still very good. One roll was quite a bit larger, so it was hard to eat a slice in one piece.

My first time visiting Wasabi Evansville. I have to say I'm in town from Las Vegas. The restaurant it self was very clean, and the service was helpful and inviting. The menu was quite extensive. I do enjoy sushi, however most of what I seen wasn't what I was expecting. So I stuck with the hibachi steak. The helping was massive. Way more than one person could eat. And it was good. Overall it was worth the price.

1st time here, my nephew and his wife recommended it. They were not wrong, clean facility and friendly staff. The food was really good and definitely get your money's worth. We had the dinner for 2, was very surprised without amount of food we received...could not finish it, as well as a couple sushi rolls. We will definitely be back!

Hit up Wasabi Evansville. Rolls (not in order): great white, lees special, pink salmon, wasabi, sexy girl. Sushi was good. Almost too many rolls to decide LOL. This location looks new, it was clean. Service was slow, but giving it was busy, it was understandable.

First time trying this restaurant. And I ha e to say I am very impressed with everything about Wasabi in Evansville. The staff is great and very friendly. We tried a variety of different meals and I am very delighted with the flavors. Everything was great! Atmosphere was just about right. Place isn't huge but there are dividers everywhere making it feel bigger. Food was above par and priced right. With two drinks, two rolls, a lunch hibachi, and a side of noodles, we were right at $40. Not bad. I did not get a pic of my hibachi those since I was hungry. Solid 9/10 for lunch We will be coming back and I do recommend this place to others!

Overall, the food was very delicious. Shrimp rice combo with salad was very reasonably priced and again, very delicious. Kentucky roll was a good compliment but not really needed since portion per person are plentiful. Website order was a breeze. Even though one of our entrees was not correct, manager was apologetic and did make it right. Again, very highly recommended for Asian cuisine in Evansville.

Our server was very patient with us as we ordered bc we went back and forth a couple of times, lol everything looked so good. We went in to do a carry out order and didn't have to wait long. We were able to wait outside and pick it up in the the drive through, super convenient. Food was great and didn't break the bank for it. You get the Hibachi test without having to sit at a table of strangers. We will definitely be puttin this place in rotation.

By far the best sushi restaurant in town. Their food is well priced, especially for the quality of food received. Their ginger dressing is fantastic. I could honestly probably drink it with a straw. When it comes to hibachi meals, they make it hard to choose. The shrimp or steak is excellent, but all of the other protein options I've tried are also great. The yum yum they make is top notch. My favorite dish is the chirashi. I've been coming here since they've opened and I've noticed this dish is very much omakase, which I love. I love when the chef takes what he has and puts his passion and personality into the meal. You can taste the passion. This is by far my favorite lunch stop and if it isn't yours you'll regret it.

Wide range of options here. Appetizer portions are smaller in size which allows you to try several instead of just filling up on one. The rolls are an excellent value. Try the Texas roll if you like a bit of spicy. The cucumber salad is amazing. The light rice vinegar dressing (that's a guess) is delish and it's topped with crab. It's large enough to share. The Hibachi portions are huge. If you're not sharing then you will be taking some home. The side salad that comes with the meals is tasty and might be a little "fishy" for the beef lovers, but I thought it was excellent. The vegetable tempura is perfect. The shrimp tempura has completely different "batter" which was a little disappointing, but delicious. We did not save room for dessert unfortunately. Next time! Because we will be back!

First time having dined here. Food was great and the atmosphere was nice. Loved the chandlers, beautiful.

One of my favorite places to go to in Evansville for sushi and Asian cuisine. They have a great open atmosphere and comfortable seating including booths and tables. You can also sit up at the sushi bar, there is alcohol as well, and not only that but lots of options for vegan and vegetarian food. The only quams I have is the service can sometimes be a little hot and cold. It depends on what server you get, but if you get one of their newer or less experienced waiters you can expect to be waiting long periods of time before being able to get straws, sauce, utensils, etc unless you flag down another server. Overall though some of the best food I've ever eaten, steak was cooked perfectly and as was the rice, the sushi is amazing as per usual!

Pleasantly surprised as we normally don't eat at chains for Japanese cuisine. At least one Japanese chef must be present has been our rule until today's exception. We did have a 15 min wait on a Thursday evening at 730pm. Ambience was great. Portions are generous. My 6 year old niece gobbled up the udon noodle dish which comes out larger than other places. My chirashi was beautifully set. Never seen it like this. Service was friendly but forgetful, a little slow. We had to ask and remind her a few times for requests. Finally, had to ask for someone else's help for to go containers.

Placed an order thru their website on Dec 23rd in the morning (they have our phone # & email) for a $50+ sushi order to be picked up on Christmas Eve at 1pm. Drove to restaurant to find that they decided to close on Christmas Eve. They processed our payment (which we will deny) and thus we had no indication of their decision and are left with little options for a meatless meal (culture custom) on this day. Very disappointed by this restaurant and while we were frequent patrons we will never be again.

Typically I don’t post reviews. While at first the experience was going okay the server said my family’s order was very “white” we kind of laughed it off but thought hmm that’s weird behavior especially when we ordered hibachi and sushi. Then our food came out freezing cold and we noticed a slight shift in our server. We didn’t even complain about the food. We never once were offered a refill in fact we had to track our server down to ask for one. He would go missing for 15-20 mins at a time and come out with a water or salad or nothing at all. After waiting for our ticket for what seemed like forever we gave him a tip still because that’s who we are and a decent one at that just for this man to complain that he busted his ass for a lowsy tip. $11 which was yes was $3 off from being 20% however with the experiences listed above I didn’t think 20% was going to happen. Yes the food being cold may not have been his fault however he never even asked us how our food was. Ultimately watching this man throw a full on temper tantrum over his tip ultimately put the cherry on top for my family not to return. I also understand that busy events can cause for stressful times however nothing had changed in the atmosphere from when we first sat down until we got up besides this man’s horrible service and attitude shift.

I ordered online and picked up in the drive thru window. Highly disappointed in the quality of food I received. I ended up throwing most of it away. Apparently I got the last little corner of salad that they had left.

So I come here two to three times a week. Usually it’s good, no complaints. Tonight, not so much. Rice was hard on my rolls, steak is tough and nibble size pieces compared to what it usually is. They only give you enough wasabi for one roll even though two was ordered. The soup was perfect but the two sushi rolls, taste like they’ve been sitting out and not even fresh. I’m quite disappointed in this visit.
