Best location. Wonderful and friendly staff. Manager is friendly and accommodating. We are always extremely happy with our food and service. Highly recommend!
Moe’s saved me on a last minute meal for 20. And they were short-staffed too. Amazing service!
This restaurant is very quick and has great service. Friendly staff and always welcome with a heartfelt "WELCOME TO MOE'S!" I had a few questions and the employees answered in positive manner and helped me build one of the most amazing burritos I've ever had. A+
Last night, I came in to this Moe’s with two dollars short of the cost to get a cup of queso. When the employee cashing me out saw this, he used two of his own dollars (even though he was college age) to pay for the queso. I didn’t get his name but wanted to tell him thank you so much! I’ll definitely pay it forward
Ever since I ate at Moe's miraculous things started to happen. I went from single to married. I'm more likeable at parties and more likely to get out of the house thanks to Moe's. Just walk up in there like you own the place and tell them what you want and I guarantee you'll walk out with exactly what you wanted.
I always order online to pick up the food is always ready when they say it will be. It is also always good quality and the staff is friendly. I don't go all that often but when I do I am always satisfied with my order
It has amazing deals, amd the food is great, but unfortunately, some of the complementary sauces just were not spicy nor tasted good. But the staff was great. And service is fast.
Love this restaurant! You get to choose your own fresh ingredients for your meal. Plus, a salsa bar with various flavors of salsa for your unlimited warm chips!
Good food, employees, and service!
Stake and potato bowl ....amazing! My girls got a small rice and chicken burritos and wife the Stack let's just say we could have used a lil help with the food very very decent portions love the staff here they're the best keep up guys we will be coming back again and again
My friend and I went for lunch. We love their wheat wraps and fresh cilantro. Also, there's a choice between beans and what rice you want. We had fun trying all the different drinks. Biggest bonus; free chips and salsa!
Very positive experience. The woman who served the food was awesome and extremely considerate and explained all the options. Customer Service is her strength!
The food’s always fantastic here, and the portions are pretty generous for the price. And even when things aren’t perfect, Sal the manager always makes things right. Great food and great people, couldn’t recommend it more.
Food was fresh and hot! Very generous portions for the price. Good selection of soda options. Comfortable seating and clean atmosphere. Will be back.
The best Moe's in the Rochester area. Always spotless, little to no wait times even when using the Moe's app to order. And their ingredients always taste fresh. I've been to the Henrietta, Pittsford, Webster and Victor locations.. and this is the only one that consistently has good service, clean tables etc. The others have had fruit flies, food that looks old, brown and rotting. But trust me, at the Penfield location you will not be disappointed!
This was my first time at Moe's so I can only speak for this location. I ordered a homewrecker burrito with queso and chips to go. I asked for a little of everything in the burrito and it was PACKED with great, fresh flavors, not at all greasy or gluey. The staff was quick, friendly and helpful. I was in and out in about 3 minutes. Warning: their queso is highly addictive so order a cup instead of a side!
Welcome to Moes! Its a nice place to eat. Good tasting food for a decent price. I really wish they would give you a little more than a tablespoon of meat per bowl though.. Chipotle gives you twice the amount of meat every time. But its still good.
My wife and I just got the Fajita kit - Steak and Adobe Chicken - we didn't realize they'd deliver to us - but not only did they - it was a done in a very reasonable amount of time (kudos to the driver - thanks) and the items meant to be hot will still pretty warm when it got here. Everything was fresh and it tasted delicious. Very well done - we will definitely be doing this again!!!
There was a time, not long ago, that my family and I wouldn't even step foot in the Penfield Moe's location because the restaurant was filthy dirty, food was not fresh, and the staff was unpleasant, but in recent months, the Penfield location has made drastic improvements. The restaurant is much cleaner, the food is fresh and usually well stocked and the staff members are very friendly and personable. This is our new favorite location and we now come here regularly. If you have been to Penfield Moe's in the past and were disappointed, I highly recommend you come back now and try them again because they are MUCH, MUCH better than they were. Great location now with great staff!
We are Moe's regulars. It's one of the few places everyone in my family can find something they like. On 1/25/2019 I stopped by this location for a quick lunch. This was my first stop at this particular Moe's. The service was exceptional, the dining area was very clean, and I love the many different seating options that can seat many different group sizes. Great work!
We ordered dinner for the family this evening online. Upon arrival, the order was not ready and missing. Due to an honest mistake, the employees apologized and ensured they would make the order right away. After the completion of the order, we were thanked for waiting and apologized to again for the mix up. On our drive home, we received a notice that our order had been refunded due to the long wait. We were satisfied with an apology and the urgency that was put in remaking our order. The refund was a testament to their great customer service. Thank you!
We love this location! Alan does a nice job making the food quick and with generous portions. Jayden is amazing: Always accommodating, kind to every customer and does the job with a friendly attitude. Even my two year old says “Jayden is so nice!” Moe’s has delicious food and the BEST deals.
Girl abbagail was wonderful! Fast efficient and polite! Will return!!!
Great service, they put together a big order for me very fast.
The staff is friendly, service and food are exceptional. The manager Alan, always keeps the space clean and pays attention to every detail and gives professional customer service.
We love this Moes location! The staff are friendly and clearly doing their best in a stressful, short-staffed situation. We come almost every week to Moes Monday and Gary is always accommodating and appreciative of us. This morning we tried the new birria tacos and Alan and Gary were very helpful and the food was DELICIOUS as always. My 18 month old has been coming here since she first started solids and it’s one of her favorite restaurants. We love it here!
I came into this Penfield Moe's location with nothing but average expectations. Little did I know, my visit would be anything but. It had already been a whirlwind of a day, darting back and forth across the county, running errands and such, and I was looking forward to some good ol' Moe's to fill me up and calm me down. Immediately upon entering, I was met with a hearty and genuine "Welcome to Moe's!" and smiles across the prep line. As I perused the vast menu, I felt no imminent rush or pressure to step forward and was able to relax and make the proper choice: a bowl. As I stepped forward to begin my order, I was met by a spry gentleman wearing a pink hoodie that said 'Good Vibes' (how apropos) and a Moe's visor, ready to prepare my food. A visor of all things - gotta love company pride. I requested a bowl with cilantro-lime white rice. He gracefully scooped a solid portion into the bottom of my bowl, dutifully preparing the bed for which the rest of the ingredients would lie. After making the easy choice of black beans over pinto, it was time to choose a protein. I was hoping for carnitas (pork) and was disappointed to discover this was no longer an option, but Mr. Moe's swooped in to save the day - suggesting the Adobo Chicken, which would fill a similar niche. I trusted the advice. I then went on to request grilled peppers and onions, fresh pico de gallo, shredded cheese, lettuce, pickled jalapeños piled sky high, and a drizzle of sour cream. All for under $10. Simply unbeatable. After paying, I nearly couldn't lift the bowl off the counter. I was given complimentary chips and my choice of six salsas. It was a beautiful evening, so I elected to sit out on the patio, overlooking the scenic and bustling New York State Route 250. A number of customers came and went as I took my time with this delicious and filling meal. I was absolutely stuffed by the end of my two hour stay. Stuffed full to the brim by Mr. Moe's. I guess you could say I needed a Moe-ment. As I cleaned up, I congratulated the diligent staff on a job well done as they tended to various tasks. They all wished me farewell and requested I return before too long. I assured them I would. Highly recommend this Moe's over any other. The staff make all the difference. I will be back. 11/10
Great place for quick Mexican. I highly recommend their corn salsa or queso cheese. I would give them 5 stars if staff was a little more welcoming
Good food and friendly staff. The only reason I'm only giving 4 stars is because while the rest of the restaurant was clean the high chairs were sticky and clearly had not been wiped since the last users. Otherwise, it was great!
First time going to this place, it was packed but worth it! Food was amazing and the orice wasn't to bad for the most part. There was a very long line, so ling in fact I thought about changing my mind and going else where. I decided to stay and give it a fair chance and Im glad I did. They moves everybody though rather quickly and we're very polite and accurate with the orders!
Food was good. I was disappointed in the sweet tea. It says "southern sweet tea" right on the dispenser but there was absolutely no sugar in that thing. I'm from Georgia. We expect that stuff to be sweet!
Moe's is a solid 3.5. Good, but not extraordinary. Haven't been there in a while, and the food seems less flavorful than before. I'm not sure why.
As far as local rochester moes go this is at or near the top of the list. The place is clean, the staff actually care and the service is quick and accurate.
I visited around noon, and the food seemed like it was fresh about an hour ago. The staff was funny, kind and sincere!
Standard chain burrito/bowl place, which isn't a bad thing. Great place to go if I am hungry and I want to gorge myself on huge portions and all-you - can-eat chips and salsa, plus take advantage of their coke mixer drink machine to play mad scientist in coming up with crazy drink concoctions. Prices are not bad for all you get.
Food is best tasting out of the 3 well known places. Restaurant was chaotic and I felt a little out of place ordering there as a first time customer. Service was ok, salsa station had a couple empty and I got tired of waiting for Salsa verse so I left without it. The other two I tried were excellent.
Fun , friendly, attentive service during order prep and dining. Since I had the opposite experience of some of the more negative reviews here, it seems the staff, or at least the ones that were on while I was there, had been trained more and found their groove at this fairly newly MSG location. I tired the new smothered burrito and it was incredibly filling as well as tasty. The prep guy even made some suggestions as to how I could cram more "charmsl," i.e. 'the flavorful secondary fillings' into the wrap. I find Moe's in general to be a good value, although quality varies more with staff than location.
Overall OK. Didn't get the "Welcome to Moe's" greeting when we entered. They didn't have some toppings that we normally get when we eat there like black olives and tofu. Also, we didn't get guacamole on our homewrecker burrito which costs more.
Awesome quinoa bowl, nice burritos, chips and queso (a little salty for our taste). Guacamole is great and extra lime and fresh Cilantro is available. Nice crew on when we visited. Wanted to clear the table when we were done, but no visible trash cans? Nice break to sit and eat in the clean sunny dining area.
Food was good! Will definitely be back.
Maybe I expect too much, like they would have food. Last three times I've been here they've either been out of chicken guacamole steak or other products. No discount for not being able to comolete order. Seems like the staff just doesn't want to be here. Guess I am headed back to Guacamoles in East Rochester for Mexican inspired food.
Ordered on line, got the salad for my wife, which was missing the salad dressing and cheese, ordered three different items which come with chips, but the never added the salsa, so when we were home we had a salad no dressing and chips with no salsa!!! Wont be going back to that store!
They deliver the Moe's flavor but they always mess up the details on my orders. They forget to add the drink on the kids meal, or forget to add salsa with the chips. Like another reviewer, I too have noticed inconsistent meat added to the bowl ordered. Tapping extra meat is basically just giving a donation that is not tax deductible.
I have ordered from this location several times before, but today the guac was past its peak of freshness, the adobo chicken was super dry, and the “grilled peppers and onions” were practically raw, plus the peppers were cut in huge chunks. A bit disappointed.
Meh. We came for lunch. Service was haphazard & didn’t know how to prepare my request. Food prep area did not look tidy & grill definitely needed to be scraped down & cleaned. However, food was tasty. Just not sure it was worth it.
Food was delicious. Though, I felt like I was bothering the employees just by walking through the door. Then while my family and I were eating lunch, one of the workers told a guest ordering, that they were quitting.
The good: the food was wonderful, hefty portions, fresh, and the queso was out of this world! The bad: staff seemed overwhelmed and unexcited. Service was slow. The ugly: at 6:30p on a Wednesday, the dining room was disgusting. Two-thirds of the tables were dirty, the four had food strewn everywhere and the beverage and salsa stations were a disaster. It was 32 degrees outside and probably 55 degrees inside - not the most comfortable dining experience. Hopefully this was just an off night for this location
This place seriously needs help, and someone who knows what they are doing. It took forever to get the food, the prep area was a mess, the seats are very worn and not taken care of and the salsa station had cups fallen into the salsa. Not sure what kind of management is there but they aren't doing a good job.
Moe's Southwest Ameri-Meh-xican grub. Strange parking setup at this location in Penfield, mostly dirty tables, food is basic ameri-mex ingredients assembled however you want, enough to fill you up, but not exactly at a bargain.
Portions at moes are getting skimpy, when I used to go it would be difficult for me to finish a whole burrito and they were hard for the people to wrap. That's the only thing that made me choose moes over chipotle or any other Tex mex place. I find myself getting as many toppings as possible just to get my money's worth these days, a small scoop of rice and meat isn't worth ten dollars for me. Even with the free chips, no burrito is worth that much.
Every time I order takeout or delivery from this location something is wrong or missing. I honestly wouldn’t keep ordering from them, but my son loves Moe’s queso. I just make it a point to order there to ensure everything is correct.
8/21/20 Update, 1 year later - we started ordering online and the past 3 times our orders have been screwed up. Not like, forgot to add lettuce, or something simple but more like they doubled our order, on nachos they forgot to add 3 of the 6 ingredients (cheese was one of them... forgot cheese on nachos, what the...) and put bacon on all items instead of 1. These mistakes are so huge I think there may be something wrong with their ordering system... a human can't screw up a taco order this bad, right?? From 2019 - Foods ok, staff is typical teenagers with attitude
I'm a fan of Moe's as a chain. I think it's a bit pricey overall, but the food is decent. The atmosphere tends to be kind of fun and the chips and unlimited salsa make you feel like you're getting a bit more value. That being said, I have now had a couple of bad experiences at this particular store. I've had really poor service (the food taking forever to prepare with only a few patrons in the restaurant) and the pricing at the register seems to be undependable (I was charged for one pork quesadilla and one beef when what we had was clearly communicated as two veggie quesadillas). It tends to be dirtier than the other stores and they have been out of certain kinds of fountain pop at various times (which seems like a no-brainer). I'm not down on Moe's overall as a chain, just my experiences at this particular store.
Every time I come here all of the employees are super nice except one little snob. She is rude every single time I see her here, to me, other patrons, even the staff. I have never seen here smile and today she crushed my hard tacos then gave me attitude when I (very politely) asked for a Togo container to put the mess she created in. Ridiculous Would give a 5 star rating if she wasn't so nasty.
Came here at 7pm on a Saturday and they had run out of many of their options, highly unprepared. Most of the staff were friendly however the manager on staff and the girl who cashed us out were the main reason I’m giving two stars. The manager seemed extremely overwhelmed with only 4 people in line ordering food and the girl was just plain miserable. She and the manager argued in front of customers over their lack of communication and she never charged us for queso then had the nerve to argue with yet another coworker over this issue. We did appreciate the kid who gave us queso with no extra charge. Maybe it was just a bad night for the staff but we hope that this girl is not working if we come back in the future.
Make sure to check your take out orders. They try to short on different items. Last six times of picking up it's either a smaller size queso, no chips, or a bowl missing half the ingredients.
This used to be my favorite Moe’s but there was a lack of supervision today and if I had the owners number I would have called them as I have never seen it such a mess! I dinned in, messy counters, messy salsa bar, no cups for salsa bar, no clean tables, garbage needed to be emptied. One guy was working the other two guys were sitting around talking. I bet the owner would have been appalled if they had walked in today. Btw it was dead in the resturant, so no excuse for the shape the resturant. I won’t be back anytime soon.
I enjoy the food when it's right. Unfortunately at this location (Penfield) they routinely mess up one or all of our items. It's become a joke in our family. It's really a shame because the food can be so good. Also, they're soda machine has been leaking on the floor for over a month. They do offer refunds readily for mistakes, but it's literally one huge problem every order (such as forgotten protein in our quesadillas). If there was another close location I'd never order from this location.
This place has really gone downhill. Things are often made wrong, burned, and late. The last food we got there even had a person's hair embedded in it. I would avoid this location.
These workers are miserable over here…it’s like your bothering them to even make your food
Definitely needs a good cleaning in the restaurant…. I could only imagine what the back looks like… Food was not hot at all. Rice was over cooked and had no flavor. Won’t be coming back…
The food is fine but the wait time is insane. Doesn’t seem to be well run. I showed up at 6:40 for my order that was supposed to be done at 6:35. I waited another 20 minutes for my food and it was not busy inside. A handful of people eating. I’m not sure what was going on but hopefully they can improve it.
Same experience as much of the newer reviews. Ordered takeout, and much to my dismay food was missing. Drove the 13 mins. back again. About 4 staff were talking with each other, ignoring customers, and sitting on the counters behind the register. They were dismissive initially then rude when I expressed my dissatisfaction. I feel bad for the one poor girl with glasses who was actually preparing food.
My husband and I ordered a couple of rice bowls; one had a long hair in it and the other had an orange piece of plastic in it. The plastic could have seriously injured our mouths/throats if we didn't see it first. I have yet to hear from management about the hazardous food they gave us.
Cold, disgusting, not made properly and literally toddler sized portions. I’d give them 0 starts if I could. Do NOT go here.
How do you run out of forks? Who eats their salad with a spoon? No napkins in dispenser? No black beans? No dark chicken? No fountain drinks?? Etc. Nick didn’t care one bit. “Well, we don’t have it!” Ridiculous! Update:
The shift manager was very stand offish and rude when I walked in. It was 850 and the store doesn’t close until 10.. I get it’s a Friday but your attitude gotta go out the door because nobody told you to work there and it’s not my fault I wanted a stack and was hungry.
Prep area a mess Hardly any food available I came here when it first opened and had a completely different experience I won’t be back
Ordered a taco kit on-line. At pick up it wasn't ready and they didn't have the order. Chaos in the restaurant. Employee wore a mask only 1/2 of the time and ended up throwing mask on to the floor. No salsa in the kit either. Will not go back to this location, ever.
Meat was dried up and crunchy like it was the last of the bottom of the pan...really not very good
Flies inside everywhere, food is gross. Chipotle is much better. Plus when you cut an onion take the skin off this picture is of the onion lol
dirtiest fast food restaurant I have ever been in. Completely unimpressed overflowing garbage cans and a line so nasty that I did not even really want to order food. every table in the restaurant was dirty and it’s not even dinner time yet I hope I don’t get sick.
Just brought home a pork burrito with no meat in it. And I don't mean that sarcastically, like there wasn't enough meat. I mean literally there was no meat. Good thing high schoolers are getting paid $15/hour, I would hate to think they would have to actually do their jobs and earn a raise.
Food was fine, but the website either isn't accurate with allergens or there is some serious cross contamination going on. Avoid if you have allergies.
They close the door 10 minutes early than posted time. As a customer you are waiting at the door they look at you and do not respond so that they can go home early! And one of the employees who had some curtosy came out after close to closing time when I waited for 5 minutes outside in the cold to inform me that manager of the the restaurant wanted it to be closed early as there were not many customers at that time. This is utterly ridiculous!! The employees also do not look to be motivated to provide good service!
Group order on-line...missing an entire order and had to return to the store twice to get 2 other bowl ingredients correct.....staff insisted they had done it right...no sour cream or guacamole was pretty obvious to us...the manager finally had to remake the bowls himself. No discount offered for our trouble, got home and found burrito order was missing ingredients as well...absolutely horrible service and no interest in making it right. Will never go there again.
Wish I could give zero stars. The Penfield Moes is the dirtiest place I’ve ever been. I walked in for my pick up order the guy working looked me dead in my eyes and said “it’s gonna be a while”, turned away, and asked the next customer what they wanted without even starting my order from 30 mins ago. When my food was finally ready, the order was completely wrong. Terrible dirty location with terrible staff working. The entire place needs to be shut down and rebuilt from the ground up.
I’m very upset. I made two online orders yesterday and went into the store to pick them. When I was in the store I double checked with the worker to make sure that the orders had red salsa in each bag. They said “yes”. I got home and they didn’t give me EITHER salsa, they also gave me a thing of queso that was about a quarter of the size of the one that I paid for. And I tried calling six times between yesterday and today to see if they could fix it somehow and they didn’t answer once, and I was calling within business hours and let it ring all the way every time. And my boyfriend is deathly allergic to cheese and made sure to tell them, “no cheese” and there were a few pieces of cheese in his burrito.
“No chips” we were told after ordering our food. How does Moes run out of chips lol? Staff was using foul language and acting obnoxious. For the money which was close to $50, really poor experience. Next time will definitely choose another venue. I think the owner of this location should take note of the reviews that all seem to have a similar theme….
Every time I do an online order to this location, it is never done. This last time, I just asked if my food was available and one of the staff members was incredibly rude to me. After that, I was ignored and others that came in after me are being assisted. This went on for about 30 minutes. Finally asked for a refund and left. I loved this location, but I think I'm passing on Moe's for good. All the locations eventually just disappoint with the inconsiderate staff.
Hands down the most disappointing food/place that I have been in a long time. Almost inedible. I went to try the new Birria on a bowl. The rice is hard beyond belief to the point that I couldn’t even eat it. The Birria, well what I had based on the almost nonexistent amount that they put on the bowl, was subpar at best. The employees looked mad to be there and couldn’t have been less friendly. It’s like they hated that they were there. On top of that, it cost over $13 for an awful bowl of hard rice and cheese and lettuce. I didn’t even mention Birria there because I only had maybe two bites that had any on it. Absolutely pathetic and horrible. Do not waste your time and money here. Just go to Chipotle from the start. I’m going there right now to get this awful food erased from my taste buds and memory. The owners of this location should be embarrassed and ashamed of how awful this was. I will never go back here and I would advise everyone to avoid this place from the start.
This location would fail a health inspection. So filthy. Nothing fresh or clean about it. Old looking food, ingredients and salsa bar near empty and messy. Grill also needed cleaned and the soda fountain was sticky. We skipped drinks. By the time we got home, I threw away my food because the more I thought about it the more grossed out I got. Did these employees know about food safty standards? The staff looked young and unsupervised and could have cared less. It was really unappetizing. We wont be back. Should have read the reviews first as it appears to be an issue for a while now.
The Penfield Moe's used to be great. I always enjoyed coming here a few years ago. Unfortunately, it's really fallen off and I'm never coming back. The entire restaurant was filthy: literally every table had food debris on it. It is horrifically understaffed to the point where the guy making my quesadilla was on the phone while he was making it, admittedly it was for his job but still. The staff that were there were also rather unprofessional. Food itself is completely mediocre now, at best. It's a shame because again, it used to be great. Even the free chips got worse. I'm scared for my health after eating there.
I regret to express my profound disappointment in the culinary offerings and service experience provided at the establishment I patronized earlier today. The quality of the fare presented to me was subpar, accompanied by a distressing customer service encounter. Upon lodging my grievances with the manager, I was met with discourteous conduct, culminating in an abrupt termination of our communication. The gastronomic shortcomings were glaring, with inadequately cooked rice, barely discernible chicken in the burrito, and a palpable staleness in the poultry utilized. Regrettably, the entirety of the meal was rendered inedible, save for the redeeming factor of the queso accompaniment. I trust that this feedback will be received with the utmost consideration and prompt remedial action will be undertaken to uphold the reputation and standards of the establishment
I would not go back. I had not been there before so when I asked for help with the menu, the man that took my order was unfriendly and annoyed when I asked how an item is typically ordered. Rude I don't need. Find another place this place was a let down.
I personally won't be going here anymore. This is the second time I've ordered a homewrecker and received a regular burrito that doesn't even have everything I ordered in it.
My wife and I ordered online to pick up an order. My bowl ended up not having any chicken in it, despite having ordered adobo chicken. When we called at 6:30pm, the phones were off. We were eventually routed to an off-site catering supervisor who tried calling the store and confirmed their phones were off. The store was supposed to close at 10pm, I'm not sure why they turned the phones off at 6:30pm. Unfortunately we had to bring the order back to the store. It was a huge hassle.
Came in for the Moe Monday burrito special. The Coca-cola freestyle machine had no diet drinks and being a diabetic that was a requirement for me. When I complained to the staff they stated that the drink was free anyways since it was included in the price of the special. Found a dispenser for their unsweetened tea and asked staff for some sugar substitute. They rifled through the cupboards, tossing boxes on the floor (health code violation) just to produce 2 packets. Called the "manager" the next day to complain. He acted contrite and apologetic, even shocked that his staff would act that way. He reviewed the film on his in house cameras and called back to apologize again and offer a gift certificate for the poor customer service. Three months later it has yet to arrive. I can only assume his desire to give us a small token for our inconvenience with his rude staff is as sincere as his apology and assurances that the staff would be dealt with. STAY AWAY from this establishment. Many better options in the area for your fast food dining dollars.
Horrible. Whole restaurant was DIRTY. Not one clean table to eat at. Unprofessional staff... one guy on his phone while making our food, complaining and swearing in front of customers! Mediocre, overpriced food. I seriously cannot believe the Penfield Location is still in business under those conditions... i was shocked! LOVE Moe's, HATE this one! Will not be back... we'll go to the Victor Location from now on.
I have always loved Moe's but have avoided this location for a long time because of seeing very mixed reviews on the quality. However, I have a giftcard and this location delivers to my address so I ordered delivery for us--one burrito, one stack, and a cup of guac. We honestly threw our food away which I have never done--everything tasted weirdly sour? Even the guac? The rice was hard to the point that I spit it out? I can't even comment beyond that because I just had a feeling I shouldn't keep eating the food. The chips and salsa were fine, though. Definitely bummed out and glad I used my giftcard and not my own money. Ordered takeout from Taco Bell last week and it was a million times better than this unfortunately.
Missing food items in my delivery and was told I either had to pick up the missing items or pay for delivery again. Waste of money and arrived cold anyway.
This locations has been going down hill for years. Tonight when we picked our order (4 meals) which included a cup of queso we were only given a handful of chips. When we asked if could have enough to eat the queso we were told they were cutting back on chips. When we got home we discovered the chips were burned and mostly crumbs. We’ll definitely be ordering from Monte Alban next week!
As I walked in, one of the managers (I'm assuming that's what he was) was talking down to another employee in front of a busy dinning room and line of costumers. It was literally so uncomfortable to watch her try to keep composure while he was reaming into her. I just turned around and walked out. The girl was doing her job during the dinner rush and he was absolutely inappropriate in front of costumers. I hope whoever this dude is realizes that talking down to your employees can happen literally anywhere else. Also hope that the girl can get a better job. Seems like she can do better. He made the whole restaurant uncomfortable... acting like a child
I'm not sure what happened with this moes location but the last two times we have been there the food has been awful. The rice is crunchy, the ingredients in the burrito unproportioned, chincing on the "free" chips. Queso was so thick it was like half dried Elmer's glue. This time the food was extremely mediocre...last time it was literally inedible due to the massive amount of jalapeños they put in my salad and the rice was so crunchy on my sons burrito that it sounded like he was eating chips. Do better moes, train your people better, stop being cheap and put some kind of quality control in place. Things are way to expensive to be wasting 50 bucks on dinner.
Went in the other night to grab dinner. I ordered a side of queso with the meal. After getting rang up I mentioned to the lady I never received chips. She proceeds to tell me they are all out. I said that it would have been nice to let me know prior to purchasing the queso which she proceed to say “ohh well” and just walked in the back and would not allow a refund. I’ve supported this business numerous times throughout the years but over my last few visits the quality of food and customer service has been sub par at very least. I don’t plan to go back any time soon after recent experiences.
The guy taking my order could not keep a straight face as I ordered a burrito with chicken on it. I guess it was pretty funny? As I asked for toppings after getting only Rice and chicken, he wrapped it up completely. I told him I wanted more on it and he laughed as he continued wrapping it up fully. He made my son's order correctly but couldn't seem to wrap it. I'm not sure if he's new or just doesn't really care about his job, but he gave us extremely poor service.
My boss and I came here for lunch today and I my god. The 3 guys working were all miserable. No sort of customer service at all. Throwing stuff around, having a attitude. The food didn't look fresh either. Realized the one guy put both of my stackers on top of each other in one container, so when I got back to work me and my co worker had to figure who's was who's. Why not separate them. I know nowadays customer service has went out the window but I'm all set on returning back to Moe's. Be grateful you have a job. Period.
