The Veranda Restaurant

I wish I could come here everyday! The server was very friendly, the view was gorgeous, the food was delicious, and best of all my wife and I spent less than 30 bucks for the whole meal! I highly recommended this place. Reservations are required but they usually are at a classy place like this.

Excellent food and service. Had to make a reservation with about a month in advance for a weekend availability, but was worth the wait.

We had a wonderful lunch there yesterday. Service was exceptional, the view was stunning and the food was excellent. I had the panini and my wife had a massive salad loaded with fruit and spinach leaves. The prices were very reasonable. The thick sliced homemade potato chips with my panini were also delicious. Plus, there was a complimentary plate of crudités. We're looking forward to going back many times.

Very place for dining. Romantic surrounding with lake, garden, flower, birds, ducks and swans. I had one of the most flavorful prime rib here. The fruit salad was so delicious and fruity. So many berries and strawberries, they form a thick layer of berry. And the strawberry dressing was so good.

We had a fantastic time, Domenic was able to accommodate my husband and I today for breakfast. Our servers Sava and Mikayla were absolutely amazing! Extremely polite and checked on us every few minutes, we loved their beautiful smiles and small jokes :) The food presentation was so elegant and it tastes delicious. The view at the veranda is just stunning... it's a must see !!

Very beautiful place for brunch!

I came with a group of girlfriends for a brunch out and it was lovely. Unfortunately, we came during the heat wave, but the experience with the staff and food was so good that our experience wasn't ruined at all. I got the shrimp cocktail, which was a bit bland in flavor if I'm being honest, but I'm Hispanic, so I was expecting a bit more flavor in general. It felt a little more like watered down tomato soup than a true shrimp cocktail mixture. There was plenty of shrimp and avocado, as well as tomatoes, onions, and cilantro. I just wish the broth was more flavored. The bruschetta though.... That bruschetta was amazing! Surprisingly, it had a tiny kick to the flavoring and it was the best surprise ever! I could eat two plates of it instead next time I go, I swear! The staff was so kind and attentive, ensuring we were well hydrated and cared for. Our kids were accommodated as best they could, which included allowing us inside the air conditioned banquet room to ensure our month-old didn't get overly warm, and a plate made just as our toddler requested, even though it wasn't on the menu. Honestly, it was a phenomenal experience and we will absolutely be back and recommend it to others!

I went here with a few girlfriends for brunch on a Saturday and it was wonderful! The patio has a pleasant view of the estate. Service was amazing. Our coffee cups were never more than half empty, only to be quickly refilled. We loved our server. Great prices for the food, too. I'd definitely go here again!

Highly recommend for brunch. Absolutely beautiful setting with well manicured grounds. Service was exceptional. Food was 5 star. Highly recommend the breakfast egg rolls and the beignets! The Bloody Mary was top notch! Will be back!

The Veranda is unreal. I felt like I was looking at a moving picture (the lake, fountain, grass and gazebo). All of the food we ate was fantastic. Highly recommend the Grand Tradition “Beignets”. It’s like eating desert before breakfast. Make sure you take spend time walking around the garden, it’s gorgeous!

Veranda Restaurant is beautiful the food was great, large portions, priced reasonable. Disappointed with the service, had reservations waited long time before anyone acknowledged that we were there. After being seated , again no one acknowledged us. I had to ask the bus boy to get us a waitress. After being served she never came back to see if everything was all right again had to flag down the bus boy.

My friends and I celebrated here with a birthday brunch and we all want to visit again! Excellent service, delicious food and relaxing ambience made it a "grand" experience! The added bonus was touring the grounds of the botanical garden.

The Grand Tradition is a beautiful place. You're seated outside when you eat at The Veranda. You get to enjoy the gorgeous view of the grounds. They have good food and the staff is great.

Impeccable service from Tatiana. She was superb, so friendly and accommodating. Venue is so beautiful and intimate, Fresh food, simple and delicious. If you need a special occasion, run don't walk to this wonderful brunch.

Grounds are stunningly beee-yoo-tiful!! Flowers, trees, shrubs, all meticulously cared for; veranda overlooking heart shaped lake, a wonderful place for the luncheon we attended.

We hosted our rehearsal brunch at the Veranda the day prior to our wedding at Grand Tradition Estate and Gardens, and we are so happy we had our rehearsal brunch here! The venue was beautiful, and the staff were so accommodating for all our needs for our large party! The food was excellent, and the fixed menu was perfect for everything that we needed. Would definitely recommend for rehearsal brunch, large events, or just for a beautiful location for a nice meal!

Small brunch area within a large wedding venue. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced, staff was great. Afterwards you can stroll the gardens. Its such a beautiful, serene area - I felt like I was eating on the porch back home..oh, and the iced tea was great+++

I've visited this restaurant twice and was not disappointed. The menu is not huge but the food is great and the portions are reasonable. The tables face the beautiful gardens. You can walk the grounds for free if you dine in, not sure what the charge is if you don't. It's a great place for a relaxing meal.

I went for brunch; you must have a reservation. The food was very good. I had a salad and took a piece of cheesecake to go. The view was beautiful. The service was polite and attentive. This was a relaxing, slow lunch with time to converse in a calm, quiet setting with eye candy surroundings. The property is well cared for, absolutely gorgeous, from the state of the interior to the landscaping. A real gem in the somewhat rurally located town of Fallbrook. Second visit: brought my parents after Thanksgiving. They loved it! I had the eggs benedict. Definitely recommend you visit this venue.

A beautiful Sunday Brunch on the Veranda. Gorgeous views and the service was unhurried so that we did not feel rushed. Elegant table setting and a fabulous menu. The food presentation was exquisite and the food tasted as great as it looked. Completely surprised by the reasonable prices for such Grand surroundings.

Our gluten free lunch entrees were ok, the sandwich surpassed the omelet. You are here to enjoy a meal on the Veranda, but walking the gardens were truly amazing.

I recently took my elderly parents to The Veranda and I want to share our experience so hopefully there can be improvements. First, there needs to be handicap parking at the front of the restaurant, not way to the right and up the hill! Also, there is only stairs, front and back, to access the restaurant. My mother had a very difficult time with all those stairs. The food was good but service was terrible. It took at least 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us once seated. Took awhile to get our food also. With so few tables at The Veranda, we were very surprised and disappointed with that lunch date.

So disappointed. 7 of us went for Fathers day. (we have been 3 times prior to this day) We were all so excited because we know the food is excellent here. Boy, were we disappointed. The pancakes were cold when we got them, the french Toast was really weird. Deep fried (very dry) and put together with yogurt and fruit between the slices. So over cooked that it was tough to cut pieces with a knife. The Wellington benedict puff pastry was so hard that it was almost impossible to cut it with a knife and the eggs were overcooked that they were not runny at all. It took forever to get our food so it makes me think that our food was under a heat lamp for quite a long time. Unfortunately we will not be frequenting this establishment again. We should have just ordered the beignets and a mimosa and we would have much happier.

Very poor service today, the waitress didn’t come out once to see how our food was or if we needed anything. The only time I saw her again was when I asked for to go boxes, waited 10/15 min for that and then asked for the check and it was another 10/15 min. No refills on water or coffee, I had to ask the busser for more coffee and also hot sauce. My omelette was mediocre for $17, I’ve had much more omelette and tastier options for that price and it hardly any cheese inside. The French toast was ok but the filling was too rich for my guest to eat. The only person who was happy was with their strawberry pancakes and bacon. My word of advice for manager here, make sure your waitstaff are doing their job! The only nice thing today was the scenery and going for a stroll in the gardens.

Our food was amazing as was the service. However when leaving someone had illegally parked on the hash marks at the disabled parking. I went back in for help and was told couldn't we just move our van so the lift could be put out. It would take her a long time to figure it out. It was a frustrating end to an otherwise relaxing meal. Not sure why my husband's wheelchair accessiblty was not important enough to offer some assistance

We called to make a reservation and was told it was not needed. When we arrived, we were treated like secondhand guests because we did not have a reservation. They then said they could not seat us. I won't give them a second chance.
