We had a great time with my husband and my daughter last Sunday. We had nice talk with one of the security guy, Brian. Definitely will go back again.....
Even rain could not keep people away. The outside live band was excellent. Fun experience!
Very nice. There for a party my plate was picked up when done bar was great with crowed no wait. Food delicious.
My favorite part is line dancing Tuesday nights
If your looking for a great place to have a party this is the place!! I had my nephew's 40th birthday party this past weekend and people are still talking about it. We had the entire back room and were over 90 people. There was plenty of room for everyone. It was a very causal party (bar atmosphere). From the start of planning the party with Katharine, she made the whole process so easy to plan. Very helpful and her suggestions worked really well. When I arrived at the party, Katharine had made sure every decoration and table was set up beautifully. The perfect party planner and very attentive. I couldn't have done it any better myself. The catering menu had plenty of food options to choose from. Everyone raved about the food, especially the penne vodka, chicken francaise and what there known for, Nutty Irishman barbque steak. The 2 bartenders Anthony and Kristina were great. Very attentive and personable. They handled the party with such ease. As far as the servers, we had Joanne, Eileen and Katharine. There work was incredible. Always had a smile, very personable, very attentive and making sure everyone had food including making sure the couple of lil ones we had got there chicken tenders delivered to them personally. I've had many parties before ie catering halls and restaurants but this one was by far the easiest one yet. The staff at the nutty irishman are truly exceptional!!
I am here right now. The band is great. Also , you can listen dance music . The people are different years, 20 years old company and 50th;). The stuff are friendly. I really recommend this place if you want relax and dance.
Brunch was amazing! Bloody Mary was outstanding!
Great venue that has live music!
Yes, I did love it ! Food, drink and atmosphere on Country Tuesdays is everything I could ask for. The dance floor, DJ's and sound system all combined to make the night something to remember. The LIVE music was very good that night also.
Went to see a Rolling Stones Cover Band here called Black and Blue. This was a great venue to see them at. Spacious and great sound system. Great bartenders, too.
Super crowded for the most part, your shoes will get destroyed from the floor being ridiculously sticky from drinks constantly being spilled and changes are someone will spill a drink on you due to the overcrowding. Other than that it’s your typical College Bar scene filled with a bunch of drunk college kids having a good time
O El Amor was their musical talent for the evening. The masked musicians hit it off. An excellent night of entertainment!! While the place is kind of cramped when they keep the back room closed off until 30 minutes before the band took the stage, the entertainment was great.
John Smith was a wonderful sever. Almost better than Luis Piña. Totally recommend.
Great spot to go out on the weekends, its not just young people which is cool to see all ages having a good time. Big inside and outside as well. One of the best spots on LI for sure for drinks and good music.
This was the recovery room part that has breakfast. Tina the owner was gracious, the food was excellent and a great atmosphere. Worth the 45 min drive from the Hamptons. Go and bring your appetite!!
It was my first time at this bar for an engagement party and let me just say, this is a great space to have an event. I was skeptical at first but I love that it didn't look, smell or feel like a dive bar. It can easily accommodate at least 80 people, the true count you'll have to get from them. The layout of the room has the bar at the center. They also have a stage that had a drum set setup while we were there. However, I can see other types of events being able to be held there..... from open mics to small talent showcases. And the big plus, there's lots of parking in the back. Great addition being in a busy area. Finger foods were served. From Buffalo wings, antipasto platter, pigs in a blanket, shrimp cocktail, burgers and brisket sandwich. EVERYTHING tasted great.....but my fave was the brisket sandwich. The bartender was awesome and made great drinks! Most importantly, the staff was awesome. A nice friendly crew that was pleasant, attentive and accommodating. That alone would make me go back even the food was subpar. Great service is everything!!! Add the Nutty Irishman to your list of event spaces. You have everything under one roof in a great package versus renting an event hall and having everything catered and delivered. I'll definitely be back......event or not lol
Went on Halloweekend. Extremely busy, but even while having to wait a while, the drinks were great, not super expensive. Dancing was fun, they had a live band and then a DJ rest of the night.
My husband’s retirement party was at the Nutty on 5/16/24, we had about 100 people…everything from Catherine the host, staff, food, and event space were outstanding!! Thank you for making an important lifetime event memorable without any worries!!!
Fun popular place to be and when they have live music it's always a blast. Depending on who is playing there'll be a different crowds but they are usually pretty cool. I've never had the food before but the drink selection is good and even when there is not a band playing it's still a pretty cool place to be
Honestly I really like this bar the drinks are great and so is the food. They try their best to follow social distancing but this is a very busy spot since everyone wants to be here. It's hard obviously because young people think it's funny to be disrespectful and not follow the rules which annoys me but not the bars fault at all!!! Also the bartender Brittany is amazing and wonderful
They have line dancing every Tuesday. There is a lesson usually around 8pm on nights with no band. DJ Neil is amazing. If you are looking for a good spot to line dance. This is it.
Really chill bar to come to when you are in the area, there's a few other bars nearby but this is always our first choice. Fun atmosphere, cheap drinks, and good local live bands that play or do covers. I love that there's a bar area in each section, and that you never really need to wait to get served a drink. I wish your card could come up on all 3 sections though so you don't need to go back to where you opened up the tab, but other than that it's great!
This is the bar to be at on Friday/Saturday night in Farmingdale. Cover bands vary in how good they actually are, but always play songs everyone knows. There's a decent sized dance floor that's always crowded. There's always a lot of bartenders, so you're not standing around waiting to order a drink. Prices are pretty standard and there's a cover to get in. I would recommend here if you're looking for more of a high energy scene. People there are usually in their 20s
Went in the later afternoon for a quick drink, the bartender was excellent! I told him what I typically drink and he got close with the first try and dead on with the second. Had the pretzel and o-rings too, both were awesome. Looking forward to heading back here to watch a game.
Best Nye eve I ever had. Amazing dj playing electronic and pop music. Had live stream of times square ball drop. Drinks were great too. Live band was performing too. Best$50 ever spent
Don't take the reviews saying the Elf pop up bar is a scam seriously. It's $40 and you end up getting 4 dishes of food, a dessert and a drink. What more do you expect for $40? Was each dish a full size entrée? No but I left full. The place is decorated really well and its a fun night out.
The food was great but it took 40mins to come out and we missed the first song of the Poppa Roach concert. It was only a 6 song set that night so it kind of sucked that we didn't get to see the whole concert
It’s a popular local spot, especially for Farmingdale State University students. Unfortunately it’s very crowded and the lines are very long. ❤️👍
First of all I just want to say that When I come here on Saturday Nights, it’s amazing!!! The bouncers, security, the bartenders, the staff, and everyone is extremely nice, and kind. Also, they treat me with absolute respect and they’re always really good to me for letting me do my thing on Social Media on instagram. Always have a great time here, shout out to my boys who work there Jason, Chuck, and Alex. 3 of the greatest people I know God Bless them.
Favorite bar tender is Kyle. I’m glad to see new securities. I remember one time these two Karen security guards, kicked me out for having a smile on my face and laughing. When I was walking a straight line. And it was so weird they needed two people to escort me out. When I complied. Hope those karens never work at any other bar. Seems like they don’t enjoy people having a good time. Other than that, my favorite bar on Main Street
It can get very crowded later, but the bartenders do a great job keeping up with it. I don't know who runs the music bookings, but they know what's up. Always a solid band playing.
What a fun bar! I loved the music and while we didn't stay late, a younger crowd was heading in as we were heading out. Food was terrific - had an incredible burger, which was a nice surprise to learn they're known for being a top burger on Long Isl.!
If you have the opportunity to attend one of their themed pop-up events, TAKE IT! My friends and I went to the Harry Potter brunch for my birthday, and we were not disappointed. The food was great, the drinks were flowing, the staff was INCREDIBLY friendly and helpful, and they decorated beautifully. Characters came around with trivia questions and it was just an overall 'magical' experience, I'm definitely interested in going back for more events like this.
The DJ on Saturday nights is always 🔥 👌 💯 we have a blast every time we go to the nutty. Looking forward to ditching the seated-at-tables rules soon. Fun place!
Good location. Usually have live music. Some of the bartenders are incredible others seem to want nothing to do with you. Always an interesting crowd there, never know what to expect.
Went for New Years open bar and buffet. Drinks were pretty good, live music also better than I expected. Not much seating on the night we went but the places was crowded!
Two bands on the weekends. The early show is for an older crowd and the younger crowd comes in after 11pm. Very loud, but that's to be expected. Good spot for live music.
Our server was great. The food was great and the drinks were on point. I have to say the steak nachos were the bomb lol. Definitely an awesome place to stop in for during the day for a bit and a a drink.
Great selection of beers. Seasonal drink options available. By day the space is moderate in size. On weekends the space opens up to triple in size with 2 additional bars, live music, DJ, dance floor and outside patio in the back.
Overall the experience is great. At times tho there were female bartenders complaining that I didn't give a tip. Meanwhile the moment I was going to tip her, she was complaining about it to another customer saying "see this is what I get." ... After that I'm glad I didn't tip her. She spoke too soon. I bought beer for 3.50 willing to give tips but since she complained. I changed my mind. Other than that its a good place to come to.
This place is great. Just walked in for a drink or two, might've been 3. I'm not sure about their food. So I can't comment on that. The beer selection was good. We walked in around 9ish, and a live band was playing on a Saturday night. Music was good, definitely room for dancing. Live DJ afterward. I'm in my 50s, so just a word of caution. Around 11 o'clock, a herd of 20 something yr olds start pouring in. Other than that, good time if you are in the mood to party for a bit.
The place was surprisingly big. They had good live music and a dj in between the band's sets. The food was good although we only had fries and beer cheese. The staff was in good spirits even though it was St. Patrick's Day and it was crowded. There was a $10 cover to get in but the coat check is free. My only complaint is I wish there were more chairs.
A fun place for live music, dj's dancing, drinking, and more. They typically have reasonably talented (and occasionally very talented) cover bands playing the greatest hits of the 90's/00's. The crowd ranges from 21-41 depending on the night, and the prices aren't great but aren't as bad as some dance clubs, etc.
Great place for music and meeting people! But for the price they charge for their TAP beer, it should be ICE cold at 33-36°f. Their taps are like above 40°usually somewhat cold but not iced cold like the dark horse. Unless NUTTY decides to change their TAP temperature, your much better off ordering a bottled beer for $6!
Good specials! The last Friday afternoon that I went they offered 2 for 1 of select beers and free barbecue (hot dogs/ hamburgers) with purchase. The French fries were really good and so were the nachos!. They also have great live bands on Friday nights and the staff is very friendly.
Pretty good spot. Just seems pretty shady the entry fee that differs every time you go here. With the amount of people that show up at night there is no need to collect a cover
Went here for Trivia Night with coworkers, it was pretty empty but lots of fun! Ordered a burger and fries it was delicious! They did advertise $5 drinks but there were only two kinds and in small glasses. I tried one and it wasn't good...so it wasn't really worth it. Service and atmosphere were alright. I'd go back for the trivia and food!
It doesn't have the best menu, the waiters are really slow and so distracted. The music is not the thing in this places, it's not a place where to know people. I went on Saturday and it looked like a Monday; although the food we ordered was good.
We decided to go to the Nutty Irishman to feed my nana one night and had a great meal. The service was excellent and food was great but there was this guy with dead bovine eyes in the bathroom that was a little too handsy with my 7 yr old so we got out of there asap. He kept saying how much he loved my sons lips, etc. It was disgusting. Apparently hes from a band that plays here frequently, and they allow him to stick around. Idk. I hate for an incident like this to have happened and wish the bar would do something anout that Joe Cumia guy hanging around there.
Bad atmosphere go to another bar!!! The crowd is weird and just an attitude
Respectfully. They draw a young crowd at the bar and do have a nice broad beer menu. However the appetizer foods offered were mediocre at best. Being in my 50’s its not a place I would return for anything but maybe an afternoon beer. There are many better places in Farmingdale for anyone out of college.
The place was good. We arrived around 7:45pm on Friday and We pay $10 Admision for each person because they have Live Music. The band play country music from 8:00pm to 10:30pm and for Our surprise another band star to play at 11:00pm that band play 90s music. We enjoyed being their. $5 per coors light - Good price !!! I think you can go and I have fun with your friends their.
Love the people love the place but so so disappointed they don't serve White Claws... they gave me something somewhat they said was similar but was not and was absolutely disgusting..I woke up feeling horrible and I haven't felt that way in yrs.....They. need to offer n buy White claws because so many people drink that!!! Now I won't go back because literally thsts all i can drink...
Loud, drunk men pulling down each other's pants is not something I was expecting to see here. For a first time visit, we were shocked. Probably will not be returning for a while. On a positive note though, the wings are good.
Never gave a negative review of any live music venue but is me or my favorite cover band that sounded really echo and draining on the stage here? Been following this band for 8 years and never heard them sound this bad.
Extremely cheap beer with crazy good happy hour specials, but don't expect anything crazy. Decent selection, but it is never that cold. They often give out free samples of their apps, which are subpar but again super cheap. This is a dive bar at its best, so you know what you are getting into. One of the few affordable places still on the strip, and you never get hassled if you linger.
Went to hear some 70s music. Apps were good. Band played until 10:00 then stopped. Figured it was a break. After 1 hour asked staff if the band was going back on and was told a new band was going on at 11:30. Would have been nice to know.
We arrived at 6:45 to get a table for something to eat before the band came on at 8:00. There are very few tables in the place and we we're lucky to get the last one available. We didn't get served our food until 7:50 after the waitress realized that our order was lost. We had tracked down our waitress 4 times. Too bad she didn't check on our order the first three times we asked. The sandwiches we're very good or maybe we we're just starving at that point. Thankfully, we we're not charged. Beers we're good and both beer and food were reasonably priced. The band was great.
Very nice atmosphere and live comedians. Their food was okay but not great and the bread rolls were stale. We had a good time anyway and some fun, it just could've been somewhat better if the music and microphones volume would've been a little lower than it was. We had better times in the past here and hope for better in the future.
awesome guy at the door. everytime i go the door man is always nice and sometimes generous. good times any time. live bands and dj. well mixed drinks and not to pricey. (prices are ok). music is always different and always changing. great place good times and PERFECT parking. cover charge👎 but it's ok.
I was here for a private event and it wasn’t bad. We had a large private room and had no interference from the bar. The food was good but exactly what I expected for catering from a “bar”. Our bartender was friendly and attentive. The private room was fairly large and accommodating. No complaints. Exactly what to expect when renting a large room from a bar for a function.
Charging $15 to see a band now!! While they advertised $10 on FB. Not coming back
Went here at happy hour for a couple beers, asked the barmaid if I could try a beer very friendly and accommodating gave me a taste and I realized the beer was room temperature. So as good barmaid checked another tap also warm, we finally found a cold tap and the beer was skunky and tasted terrible. There were several fruit flies and in general looked very run down and not clean or sanitary at all. I was waiting for Jon Taffer from bar rescue to walk in at any moment. I would not recommend this bar to anyone and I definitely would not eat here just based off how many flies and how dirty it is. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is for the barmaid she was trying.
I don't drink but i went here for a work outing and they let other people order unlimited drinks on my friend/coworkers tab without his knowledge or approval and never questioning it. Then when he questioned it at the time of payment cuz these people who used his name did it maliciously and he truly didnt know they acted like it was his fault but they did eventually give him some money back.
Looks like a nice place, but the smell of stale beer is overwhelming and the bar top is dirty and sticky, probably because of the obvious lack of napkins and coasters. Ordered a rocks drink and a tap beer, no head on the beer at all that took 10 minutes to get. One bartender at 8:10 on a Saturday night? Overall I am underwhelmed.
First time there. Nice atmosphere, fun live bands inside and outside. Outside was a nice setup and extra cool being outside. Went to see a friend’s band for the first time and brought some people with us. We were having such a great time, friendly staff and bar service people. We were very hungry and ordered some food - Pastrami egg rolls, chicken nachos and a large hot pretzel. The pretzel was hot, soft and fresh-the best part of the food. The pastrami egg rolls were hot and fresh and their appeal started out good. Then the nachos with chicken, well, we were trying to figure out what was in it. We were so starved we scoffed up half of each item between 4 people and we got so sick. What’s up with that? We wanted to have a couple more drinks but couldn’t because of it. We stayed a couple more hours to hear our friend play in the Lucky Stiffs and left when they were done for the night. We were then planning on going inside and grabbing a table to hear the inside band but couldn’t. It was a not so pleasant night sleep because of the food. I’m better this morning but my wife is still not great. A lot of heartburn which I also had. It’s such a shame with such a nice location on Main Street in Farmingdale. We might go back again (maybe) to see the bands and have some drinks but will eat elsewhere before we arrive after the night is over. Didn’t try a dinner or anything else on the menu and would be afraid to. For such a prime location, the food should be top notch right down to the smallest thing. No animosity here it’s just that it would have been nice to have a complete night out at one place. Horrible food quality still wouldn’t have ended the night but to actually get sick with heartburn and uneasiness so fast right there just put it over the top. They’ve got to get the food quality together.
Strange place. We were in the area and decided to go for dinner. In searching we saw that they had a salad bar and since most of them have closed (Ruby Tuesday's etc.) we decided to check them out. Well, they don't have a salad bar...or anything else that shows as their menu when you search for them. Even the waitress couldn't explain the missing salad bar or menu items. It almost seemed like they copied someone else's menu. The food was only okay. The waitress was okay. Other than the disappointment in not getting anything that we planned on, this place is only okay. Try it on your own decision. They do have live bands that start at 8:00 & 10:00 (I think), so maybe that's what their draw is.
The Elf'd Pop up Bar was a scam! DO not go. I'm so disappointed. I wasted $90 on watered down drinks, cold food, and a dirty table I understand bars and restaurants are hurting due to covid, but it's not far to scam customers. Not worth the money.
would be a great place except they discriminate and chose when they want to implement the dress code. “no joggers or boots allowed” yet we sat and watched lots of people dressed the same walk in no problems. The nutty irishman will no longer be getting my business, not for a $10 cover fee. and i’ll be telling all my friends
Never witnessed racial profiling like this before. Very disappointing watching the only 2 black guys get kicked out by all white security staff, for absolutely no reason. They couldn't even apologize after realizing they were acusing the wrong person. Plus the front bartender that was rude and obviously annoyed she had to make drinks didn't help.
Went in for the Wednesday burger special. Place was pretty empty but still was going to try it because of Newsday's review. Order s beer and wife ordered a Coke. We ask about the special and the server said she didn't know about any special even though it was right on the wall. She then went and asked the kitchen and they said no special. Ask for the bill and was charged 10 dollars. The special was for a burger, fries and beer for 9.95. What a rip off.
Tried to go here with a group for a friend's birthday. All of us are 21, but after showing the bartender our IDs, he accused us of having fake IDs. Had a horrible experience with a rude bartender. Would have been nice to speak to a manager.
Worst experience ever!! I’m 67 yrs old… went here because it sounded lively & fun. No one offered to find a table, ok. Sat at the bar, read the menu….the barmaid stood with her back to us . When younger people came to the bar she waited on them immediately. I will never go back again! If you are over 30….don’t waste your time!
Terrible NYE experience. Way too many tickets were sold. Waited for over an hour in the freeezing cold even though I bought a 40 dollar ticket. Once I got in I could not even move it took 20 minutes to get from the entrance to the coat check in the back. It was a waste of money I ended up leaving because I could not even move or get a drink. They should really monitor better how many tickets are sold for a big event like that.
Didn’t even step inside and the bouncers were already yelling at us, apparently showing up at 930 before everyone else is to much stress for the bouncer that he has to yell at 3 people to get in a neat and orderly line, then as we are leaving the same bouncer stops us at the door and yells at us because we are blocking the entrance( just so everyone knows there is once entrance and one exit both in the same spot) I know people can be rude to bouncers and it’s not their job to deal with rude and mouthy people. However right from the start not a single word said to the bouncers and they came off rude and disrespectful. Such an unprofessional establishment, if you hate bouncing and your life so much that you’re going to be disrespectful to every customer, maybe rethink your profession
Came here for lunch as we did all of last year while working over at old Bethpage; unfortunately Nancy was no longer the bartender and the service was probably the worst I’ve ever received at a bar before. Bartender was on her phone texting the entire time and we couldn’t even order bc of it. In addition the food sucked; shame place was the best deal in town and I used to recommend it to everyone who worked with us. Last time I’ll ever do that.
No longer serve Bud Light. Claim people don’t want to drink it. Imagine being that mad at a beer. Ordered a few Guinness. The bartenders have no idea how to pour them. Poured too fast and made all foam and little beer when settled. Happened on all three I ordered from different bartenders. Pathetic. Especially being an “Irish” bar and for what they charge for one. I’ll be skipping this place as much as possible.
Paid almost 70 bucks for an open bar. I get a Guinness…in a glass cup. Tip the bartender 20 bucks. Next Guinness is in plastic. Short bald bartender told me that was the rules….anyway there’s plenty of bars in Farmingdale.
Horrible and dangerous place, was assaulted by a guy who was friends with the bouncer. So the bouncer lied for the guy and had me arrested. New to the area and found out the next day after talking with the police and friends that the Nutty is a common spot for fights and hang activity. Also the place is a dump and has sticky floors all over the restaurant. Would not recommend to anyone.
They always have loser overzealous bouncers at the door. They ran out of stamp ink and told my boyfriend they’d remember his face and let him come back. He came back and they refused to let him in while being SUPER rude. The music and atmosphere is not nearly good enough to have such rude employees working there
I am utterly disgusted by the situation myself and my friend were put in last night by the staff of The Nutty Irishman. Upon entering the front of the bar was empty except for one other person. The back was semi closed off to an event going on. The woman’s room in the front was closed so I was told to use the bathroom in the back, through the party (which just happened to be a police precinct party). After getting one drink each we decided it was time to go and had to use the bathroom again. As we are walking to the back bathroom, because once again the front one was blocked off, we were stopped by security and told we could not use the bathroom due to a private party…the bathroom I just used. He then proceeded to escort us out of the bar and into a closed bakery next door. All the lights were off and the chairs were up on the tables. I was directed to the bathroom in the back corner of the restaurant. As I exited the bathroom I demanded to speak to a manger because that situation is completely absurd. I was then told they weren’t sure she was there when I knew she was because this decision was made in about 25 minutes from when I used the bathroom prior. When I was greeted by the manager, Catherine, she approached me smiling and laughing as if my concern was crazy. I explained to her that in no circumstance should a male security guard be escorting two woman out of the open bar and into a closed down bakery to use the bathroom. I was laughed at and told that I could have turned the lights on and that nothing would have happened to us. What a privilege to have no understanding of the horrible things that can and have happened to woman in similar situations to this one. When asking for the number of someone above her I was told this was public knowledge and once again laughed at. I looked at the security guard and told him he should have never allowed himself to be put in that position and I honestly feel he did not want to do it and felt pressure from the manager Catherine. All she needed to do was be a little understanding of the horrible situation that had just went on but she was nasty and unprofessional. With this being said after my anger passed I was incredibly sad because I am a strong willed 31 year old who was not drunk and all I can think is if this situation happened to a more vulnerable girl and with a security guard that had bad intentions things could have went so differently, in the worst way. Do better as not only a business but as human beings!
I had an absolutely horrifying experience at The Nutty Irishman. This establishment overserved my two young sons, continuing to give them alcohol even after they were clearly intoxicated. The staff showed a complete lack of responsibility and disregard for safety. To make matters worse, when my sons were visibly impaired, the bouncers physically assaulted one of them, choking him to the point that he couldn’t breathe and leaving visible welts on his neck. This kind of violent and reckless behavior is completely unacceptable. I have reported this incident to the State Liquor Authority and will be following up directly with the owner to demand accountability. No parent should ever have to experience something like this. Parents, please take this as a warning: if your children mention going to this place, do not let them go. This establishment needs to be investigated and held responsible for its actions.
I had an extremely disturbing experience at this bar. I was sexually assaulted and groped by a woman 40 years older than me a friend from my group alerted security of the situation then Without any clear reason, a member of the security staff aggressively confronted me, got in my face, and attempted to start a physical altercation. Things escalated quickly when he began hitting me — and instead of addressing the situation appropriately, the staff chose to eject me from the venue. The overall environment felt unsafe and hostile. Security appeared to be on a power trip, more focused on intimidation than maintaining a safe space for patrons. On top of that, the place itself was run-down and chaotic. I cannot stress this enough: avoid this bar. There are plenty of better, safer places to spend your night out.
I’m writing this review to advocate for my sister, who got completely ripped off by this bar. We went to The Nutty Irishman one night and she opened a tab that totaled around $256 by the end. I paid the entire bill in cash before we left—no split, no confusion. Full payment, right there at the bar and threw in a nice tip. Despite that, they still charged her credit card the full $256 on top of what I already paid. When she tried to fix it, it became a nightmare. Every time she called, she got rerouted to some call center—not the actual bar—and the woman she spoke to kept giving her the runaround. Weeks went by with promises to “look into it” and “call back,” but no one ever followed up or helped. She repetitively called back and was given the same lady. Chase wouldn’t reverse the charge without something in writing from the bar, and of course, the bar refused to cooperate or provide anything. So now my sister is just out $256—and I basically handed over that amount for no reason. This place is either wildly disorganized or intentionally shady. Either way, I wouldn’t trust them with your card or your money. Save the entry fee charge and money, there are too many underage children there anyway.
I have always come here even though I live in the Bronx and have always had a pleasant experience yet most recently I have been very unhappy. I went with about 10 people in February and left my card open for the tab. By the end of the night, we paid with cash but the bartender still charged my card. That was not a big deal because I knew it was just a mistake and I would be able to call and handle it. When I called was told someone would get back to me yet that never happened. I called about 6 times, left emails and no one ever got back to me. Each time i got the same story “i’ll try to have someone get back to you.” This was not a little sum of money that was paid. It is extremely unprofessional that no one even had the decency to get back to me regarding the topic. This is now nearly 4 months of me trying to handle a very simple matter. I am extremely displeased and have been trying to get into contact with a manager or ANYONE to handle this matter.
