Very busy place on a Saturday, brunch time had me looking for parking around the block. They have limited parking. Once seated, the wait was not long despite being busy. My choices during my visit were their: Cortadito, Birria pambazo, and french toast. Everything was delicious.

Food was delicious; lots to choose from. I had the chilaquiles en salsa roja with carne asada. For my drink, I had chocolate abuelita. Everything was good, I have to try more items from the menu. Went on a Sunday, it was really busy, had to wait 30 mins.

A little bit surprised that this establishment isnt higher rated! Great service and delicious food. We got the machaca plate and horchata french toast. Both were amazing though the machaca plate was lacking a bit of flavor. Cant wait to be back to try some of their speciality coffee and mocktails.

My wife and I came here on a Sunday at around 11 am and the parking lot was already full since there is limited parking. You might have to either street park in the front or street park in the back in a neighborhood. We got here and there was a little wait of 15 minutes which wasn't bad but at around 11:30am a lot more people showed up so I would recommend coming here before 11:30am. I got the chilaquiles with carne asada and my wife got the fruit pancakes. It took about 20 minutes for the food to come out after ordering which felt like a reasonable time with how packed the place was. The salsa verde was well seasoned as well as the carne asada. The tortilla chips did not get soggy and stayed crisped! The portion size was perfect and left me satisfied. The carne asada was an extra $5 I believe but they have other meat options in the $3-$5 range. It was a good Sunday brunch and will definitely be coming back if im ever in the area!

It was good, our coffee and bread were decorated with details and the sandwich was too big, enough for 1 person and the chicken was really crunchy and juicy,. I will come back ... Recommended.

Outstanding customer service! The food, hands down, one of the best choices that anyone could make. The atmosphere is bright and family friendly - the art is so beautiful and unique! This is one of the best food places in LA by far! Prices are fair and you are getting more than what you pay for! I hope this place never changes! Please do not stop by (more for us) 🫶🏾

Wow this place was amazing! Great customer service and the atmosphere was so upbeat and happy 😃 The chicken sandwich was better than any I’ve had before and blows Chik-Fil-A OUT the water! Amazing 10/10! I recommend 100% come (or don’t more for me) here if u r looking for a great meal 😁🙌🏾

Was truly impressed on their plates, I ordered a burger which to me is one of the best I've had in recent years. They also have an amazing red spicy salsa which is not something you'd expect from a Salvadorian restaurant as it isn't really a thing in that country. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. Definitely going back!! We were there to celebrate my Dad's birthday, and they gifted him with a tasty crepes plate which was nice!!

Overall I like this place. I thought the quesadilla I had was decent but there are many more dishes on the menu I would try. Same with the drinks. The staff are nice and do their best with how busy it gets. The interior is absolutely lovely. The parking lot is much smaller than I thought and street parking may be a challenge.

This place can easily get 5 stars because the food is AMAZING. Cafe de olla is a MUST! The food taste fresh for sure. Birria tacos & Chilaquiles divorciados both 8/10. Tacos were good, nothing amazing just good, taste fresh for sure, good presentation. Chilaquiles were DELICIOUS, beautiful presentation... right ration of sauce, cheese, crema, totopos... BUT the carne asada portion was sad. The protein portion was that of a small taco. May need to adjust that portion because it does disappoint. The staff are friendly, genuinely dedicated and attentive even though initially no one greeted us and consequently we seated ourselves. Overall, DO NOT SLEEP on this place. Will not regret. 4 stars because out Birria tacos were served first and almost 10minutes later, our chilaquiles came in, there was no one to greet us upon arrival and lastly, that protein portion was a little embarrassing. If it weren't for those 3 minor hiccups, this place is easily a 10/5! Things happen, theres always room for improvement and this place has potential for amazing growth. Restrooms are clean; VISITORS, please keep em that way. No need to trash the place. Overall... Must try, its worth it.

We went on a Tuesday at 11am, We got seated right away, it wasn’t packed there was only 2 waiters/ waitresses. It took like 7 minutes for someone to take our order. We got Ice Coffee Flight, The drinks were 1. Cinnamon Chessecake Latte 9/10 2. Frutty Pebbles Latte 2/10 3. Lavender Matcha Latte 8.5/10 4. Don’t remember the name of the last one. We got a Breakfast Molcajete 10/10 Wow this was so delicious it the perfect size for 2 people. The only reason I give it 4 stars. Is base off all the reviews from everyone else and their experience. Honestly I would only come here on a weekday when it’s not busy, because the parking here is really bad. You’ll struggle for parking if this place is packed on the weekend. To be honest idk how the service is on the weekend. My recommendation is to come on a weekday.

A very cute spot! The vibes are great, the art is funny and expressive. The food was good, Ordered a crepe and a breakfast plate, both were delicious. The grill & crepe spot are both located inside, you order from both at the same time as well. Lovely experience although the server was a little condescending, but will come back again to try their seafood options! Wheelchair accessible, bathrooms available, clean and large inside dining area.

I was influenced to visit this place and unfortunately did not meet my expectations. I was rooting for this place because its hard to find a yummy authentic Mexican restaurant. Presentation was actually very nice, but it lacked flavor. We got the Breakfast Molcajete and Waffles with fruit, Cafe de Olla and water. Lets start with the Molcajete... its waaayyyy too expensive for the portion $60 dollars for mostly chilaquiles (red ones, sauce was flavorless) Presentation was nice but when we started digging in, there was only small pieces of ranchera ( about 4 small pieces) 3 pork sausages (not like the pictures) it was small Breakfast sausages, fresh cheese, nopales and about 3 or 4 small bacon strips, 2 eggs, a tiny portion of beans ( not enough for 2 people) and same size guacamole (guacamole was just smashed avocado with salt, which was yummy) if you order house hot sauce its an extra charge. The Cafe de olla was yummy. Only ordered one and it had 2 available refills. The waffles were nothing extraordinary, just regular waffles, yet the fruit was very sweet and fresh ( really enjoyed it). The water was tap water (clorox was overpowering) The location is not the best, not enough parking ( had to find street parking) and they left us waiting outside in the cold rain, though...there were so many empty tables. (It was 2 of us) I was really hoping for a more lively atmosphere, music was very very low, did not make out the type of music being played,(maybe up the volume to bring enery and good vibes) the staff was friendly. Overall, good. But prices were too high. This restaurant is definitely not intended for locals ( based on prices). Total bill was $94 dollars for 2 people.

First time here the place has very nice decorations definitely a chill atmosphere. The food was delicious the steak and eggs were cooked to perfection. I asked for medium rare it also came with a toast and a side of potatoes. The green Chilaquiles were great the sauce was authentic and the chips definitely taste homemade they're very crunchy. The coconut lavender drink was very refreshing. Café de olla was very flavorful and sweet. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get any refills even though it says 2 refills are allowed. They said they ran out of Café de olla. They weren't able to give me a replacement. So I had no other choice but to buy something else. I ended up ordering an Horchata Latte as the big finale and when I tell you this had no horchata flavor I mean it. I was very disappointed because I honestly thought this was gonna be the star of the show. It was a decent plain latte at the end of the day. The service was sub par only one of the waitresses was very nice but the rest were rude and not very attentive.

No wait time for brunch hr on a friday for us. We ordered the Chilaquiles platter for 2. With birria and we received the asada instead. We didnt ask to replace it because we came in hungry. Its a big portion. 3 or 4 can be served from it. Wish they gave more than 2 eggs. The meat was good. Had ALOT of chips left over. If you like quantity this is the place. We also got a strawberry shake. It was okay. Alot of visual noise. We did not struggle on parking for brunch but there was limited parking.

Tried to make a telephone ☎️ order but they never answered. Got to the location and said it would be 15 minutes, 30 minutes later I stood up and waited at the counter for my food. While my 30 minute wait, I observed the servers having no organization. They didnt know what food belonged to what table. Tables got their food separately. The one person finished the food first and the second plates hadn't even been delivered yet. The food had great taste, but portions small for the $20 plates. I went because I saw it on TikTok its worth trying, maybe better value somewhere else.

The food is really good. We got the green chilaquiles with carne asada and carne asada breakfast nachos. Food was great, chill vibe and nice little hidden gem. BUT the service is terrible! And I don't blame the hostess/waitresses. Poor girls are running around hosting, bussing tables and things orders. We came on a Friday at 11:30am. We didn't get seated until after 12pm. We waited about 45 minutes when we were told it was a 30 minute wait. When we walked in there several tables but needed to be bussed. I think if they had more staff to bus tables and host, it would be more organized and the wait wouldn't be as terrible.

It's good, but not great. The timing and food could use some work. The employees were great, it's when it came to getting what we paid for where my party and I agreed we wouldn't be coming back. We got our drinks at different times; my brother's drink arrived halfway through the meal. I had the brunchiladas and they were delicious. However, the asada that I paid an additional $5 for was inedible. The meat was so chewy and mostly cartilage. It was the same thing for my asada on someone else's plate. At the end, we had to ask for the check followed by more waiting that we ended up just meeting them at the register to pay. Unless they work on timing I don't see them getting any repeat customers, but mostly it's good enough to visit once.

Hello, today I visited this place with my wife, the place we seeing it in social media and we were hype for the experience. However, I can say we were highly disappointed due to several reasons. ● The food ( we ordered the breakfast molcajete and it was mostly chilaquiles, one steak cut into 5 pieces, two slices of cheese, Nopal, three McDonald 's-sized sausages, two eggs, microwave tortillas, beans, and guacamole on the side) price $60. "Taste (3) out of 10". ● The order was wrong, we ordered French toast for dessert and they brought us waffles. ● wait outside for 15 to 20 minutes and another 15 minutes to get attended to at the table. ● Parking is very limited. ● total cost for 2 people's brunch was $89 + optional tip. My overall experience was very poor and in my opinion very expensive for what they have to offer. Hope the management or ownership of this place improves, because honestly, I think the place has potential they just need to pay attention to details and to customer feedback.

My experience at Huevo Cafe was one that I disliked as my table with my family ordered our food and we spent waiting 40 plus minutes just waiting for our food . We came to the restaurant starving and so the experience of waiting for so long for our and starving which was even worse was very unsatisfying. They even brought us some tortilla chips for free but everyone knows that's just to silence us and keep us from complaining .

It took 30 minutes to wait for a car to leave to get parking, Get inside and it was a very loud atmosphere with others already at the table being inconsiderate and playing loud music on their phone on top of the music the restaurant was already playing. Workers did not obviously care because nothing was said about it. I sit down and order the flight of latte's and chilaquiles with birria. The presentation was nice but the food was not that great and the meat was mainly fat. The flight of drinks was small portions for the price that was heavily iced. Food came out and no utensils or napkins were provided. Had to request it and the waiter said it would be a wait. Also requested water and the water smelled so bad so it's safe to say it was tap. And to top it off the waitress busted tables and never came with our bill. Proceeded to continue cleaning all tables and take others payments but never took ours. It took me to get up and go to the counter to finally pay. Mind you our table was cleared and cleaned and had been waiting there an additional 30 minutes just to pay. Overall over priced and rude service. Don't come here if you're not Mexican or can't speak Spanish because they will treat you the same if not worse.

If you looking for the best molcajete go to Lalos Mariscos and pasta. The only things I enjoyed was the two frames in the restroom. The wait took forever for meals and drinks. Either place is understaffed or server forgot to place our orders in. Server was slow and needs to multitask. Refills took forever and once the food arrived it got worse. The sausages were nothing like the pictures. (Cheap sausages and burned) Molcajete was so hot it vaporized the stew. Overpriced and not the best in taste. Seems $40 would've been fair. The side of beans were flavorless. Tiktok reviews brought me here and it will be only a one time visit and never again. Either paid reviews or overrated by people who don't know about food. 11am/Oct2

I’m pretty disappointed because I really wanted to like this place. My first experience here, I called in for a takeout order. I was put on hold, which is fine, but while being on hold, I could hear the employees talking about how people don’t wanna come in no more and complaining about a phone order. I ordered a breakfast burrito with Machaca and paid $25. It was a 30 minute wait, which is fine. I love breakfast burritos, but this is the worst breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. I know the Machaca is a special request but they do serve it on the menu. However, this Machaca, I’ve never had Machaca like this before. Looked nothing like Machaca and tasted nothing like Machaca. Tiny little bits of meat cut into squares? You can see this in the pictures. Like what is that? Not Machaca for sure. Those little pieces of meat tasted really dry and bland. I just don’t even understand this. The breakfast burrito is originally $17, which means I had to pay at least an additional $5-6 for whatever that was. Ridiculous. There is also overall discrepancies in their advertising. Online pictures, show the burrito with beans, this burrito had no beans. I also asked the employee while I was making the order,” the burrito comes with beans right ?” and they agreed. Overall It had no flavor, tasted like burnt egg, no salt, and greasy potatoes. The burrito was dripping grease. They also forgot to provide a salsa. Who can eat a burrito without salsa? Good thing I had a Cholula packet on me. I’m currently pregnant, was super hungry and I was not about to let $25 go to waste . I had found all this out after the fact, drove away and was halfway across town. Extremely disappointed as I had wanted to try this place out for a while now. It’s sad to get a breakfast burrito so wrong. Maybe they favor people who dine in, but this is such off putting experience I kinda don’t wanna try my luck and money on the rest.

It's too over hyped in my opinion. Went with my girl, she got the Burger with the Egg which is pretty basic brunch burger and I got the birria burrito and let me tell y'all it was bland, little to no flavor and mad lacking seasonin on both orders. The only thing that was well seasoned were the fries, will I go there again? No. Did I waste $60 on 2 basic orders? Yes.. You pretty much paying for the aesthetics.. Also that weird music is super loud you can't even hear yourself think. (Over priced) (Flavorless) (unseasoned)
