BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse - Florence

We've been in several times now and really have zero complaints... which, sadly, is really saying something these days! Today was no exception. Lauren provided stellar service and humor, and the burgers - bistro and mushroom swiss, respectively - were so good we couldn't stop eating til we were absolutely stuffed. Sweet potato fries are better than any I've tried anywhere else (so, maybe 2 places before, tbh), and that bacon onion jam is the JAM. Kudos all 'round!

I live close so I come here often. I have always enjoyed the food and the great service. Our server tonight was Elise and she continued the tradition of great service. I had the Mahi mahi tacos and my daughter had the avocado egg rolls as her meal. The food was served in a timely manner and it was hot and flavorful. Thanks for being a great local restaurant.

If you are looking for a place with OPTIONS then bjs brewhouse has got you covered! A menu that has food for anyone, even those looking for gluten free items. We had a great meal, burger was cooked perfectly and fries were crispy. Salad was great! Crunchy and not over dressed! Always a good decision to eat here.

Our server was awesome, We got the Sangria flight and the Mac and cheese bites! A Mandarin glazed porkchop & the smokehouse burger ! Everything was perfect we would get it all again.

Food was absolutely amazing!! Tomato and mozerella salad and sliders definitely hit the spot. Service was outstanding and food came out very fast. And we got a carnation for Valentine’s Day. Definitely a great way to spend Valentine’s Day!

Had to leave a review after trying the PAZOOKIE! I kept telling myself, “ok last bite“ but the will was not there this afternoon. Lol The pazookie alone is well worth the visit. I recommend coming out to try it. Anna was our server and she was nothing short of amazing. Sat down and looked over the menu and she was there promptly to get us started. I have a thing about not wanting to wait very long to order after being seated and Anna definitely assured it wouldn’t go that way today. Thanks Anna!

I'm one of those people who is inclined to believe that all chain restaurants in the United States are alike. But BJ's Restaurant Brewhouse distinguishes itself in a couple of ways, first and foremost by it's varied and savory beer list. Second, is its extensive 20 Page menu with interesting items from spicy peanut chicken with soba noodles to seared Ahi tuna salad, North Beach mahi mahi and shrimp salad, shrimp and asparagus penne, and a variety of thin crust and thick crust pizzas. These in addition to sandwiches and burgers and appetizers and an interesting variety of signature beverages from margaritas, to fruity flavored drinks, and "handcrafted" classics from Long Island Iced Teas, Bloody Mary's, Martinis, and Whiskey Lemonades. My wife was especially pleased to find gluten-free options including pizza and desserts. Other likeable aspects of this restaurant include an entertaining, colorful, and warm decor and gentle trendy background music. My disappointments were the seemingly greasy floors throughout, and paper toweling from the bathroom that was littered across the bathroom and hallway floors. Why doesn't a restaurant clean this mess up on a routine basis? Why doesn't the manager follow up to ensure that the bathrooms are clean and tidy at all times? Also, while I loved the french fries even though they were a little too salty I was disappointed with the small size of the side order not much more than a medium order of McDonald's fries. When we asked at what price, instead of answering the question, our waitress just went and brought us more, although, with a smile. I enjoyed my spicy peanut chicken with soba noodles. The waitress was right to recommend the Sriracha hot chili sauce with it. Note that soba noodles are wheat based... that is, they are brown instead of white. The chicken was very tender and the broccoli was properly cooked and still crunchy. The Cobb Salad contained leafy greens, as opposed to just iceberg lettuce. And it was plentiful. I would also add that if BJ's wants to act like an upscale restaurant they need to add some free mints at the hostess station for on the way out. We moved to this area in July of this year and I'm pretty sure will come back on a regular basis.

Had the most amazing service with Amber in Florence! She was the most attentive and sweet server! We had a party of 6 and she was on it. Made sure our drinks were always filled and our food was delicious. Such a great evening!

First time being here, and loved everything. They have wonderful hand craft drinks. I highly recommend the hand craft rootbeer with bacon cheeseburger with their signature sauce. Yum!

We really enjoy the food here. I was able to get a Keto-friendly meal by getting the chicken thighs with the Lemon Pepper Sesame dry rub & garlic-roasted vegetables in place of the fries.

The service was awesome and the food was even better! Made for a great Valentine's Day lunch! Sometimes places give me difficulty with online gift cards, but our waitress was on it. Thanks for making today a great day!

Love it! Had the Poke tacos for an app. And they were delicious, the breskit bacon burger was great, had lots of flavor and was cooked just the way I wanted. Finished with a brownie pizza cookie which hit the spot.

Great service, delicious food! Try the Mandarin pork chop! So tender and tasty! And, let's talk about that monkey bread pizookie(ice cream on the side for us because dh can't eat it)...😋 Yum! Made for a wonderful date night!

Lauren H, was mine and my friends server. She was SOO nice. She might as well be one of our friends now lol. She was always checking up on us and making sure everything was okay. The food was delicious. 10/10 recommended the cookies n cream pizookie. It was also my friends birthday, which she made it very cutesy and special for her. Thank you Lauren H!!!!!

Amber is amazing! Such a sweet server. All of our food came out hot, and within a timely manner. She came back several times to make sure that our food was good, and she checked that we had everything we needed. Our cups were never empty! Will definitely be back!! :)

I had the Bleu cheese wedge salad which was delicious. Atmosphere was fantastic. Server was a little slow in asking about drink refills.

I went in for a take out the other night and I would highly recommend! The service was fast friendly and efficient, plus my favorite food was delicious like always! There was a male manager, I believe kitchen over seeing the transaction and was very interested in making sure I was satisfied. Thank you for making my visit great like always!

Work dinner…, we ate just about everything on the menu. Very very good food! One of the best meals I have eaten in quite a while. 10/10, the service was well trained and impecable as well! Lastly the establishment it self is beautiful! I will return with friends!

We went in on a Friday afternoon for a quick lunch date. From the moment Meagan F greeted us she brought the happiest upbeat energy. Not only did she take wonderful care of us, but truly she made our day. She was attentive, funny, relatable and just all around a 10/10, and on top of all that our food was fresh and delicious. Thanks again Meagan!!

Stopped by for a quick lunch and was blown away by the combination of an amazing interior space and service that was the quickest I’ve ever had at a brew/pub kind of establishment. Our server (Dakota) was top of the line friendly and prompt. Food came super fast and at a good price point. The lunch $12 Mediterranean chicken bowl was just right. BJ’s food is always good and consistent, but lacks some of the little nuances that pushes it over the top. Definitely a go to place though for the service and atmospheric interior.

Nice place, good service, great location. Pretty diverse menu and and nice atmosphere. Was a work thing so was a large party but behind us was a 60 top! So the fact that service was on point and food came out correct and hot was pretty amazing. We ordered like 5 of each appetizer, all of the drinks and then entrees. Was a great meal. Drinks were ok, over priced for what seemed like only a tiny bit of alcohol. Yes it's casual but after like 4 of these things I should feel a little buzzed atleast right? Taste was good though, but they took and average of 17 minutes to get. Yes they were slammed, but even 1 good bartender can serve 50 people in 17 minutes. I'll go back just won't get a drink.

First visit today, this place is nice, cozy , very elegant. But it is much better to go there to drink beer than to eat. They have really great options of beer and the one I tried was really good but the food menu is so huge and has so many different types of cuisines that it is so hard to find something and then it wasn't good enough, we tried three different meals and were only average. Our waitress was very nice and fast.

Food was ok, needed some add-ons to make it work for us, Maria our server was so nice and understanding.

Had the tomato and fresh mozzarella salad, TRI tip and ribs, wife had the prime rib all was fantastic.

Had turkey dip with sweet potato fries substituted for regular fries. As an appetizer had artichoke dip. My drinks were BJ's lager and water. All of my food was tasty. Fries may just a little overdone. Dip was warm...chips a little thin foe dipping. Waiter was excellent.

Server was very slow... food had to be sent back because it was cold... but they remade it and made it right.. we asked for a manager and were ignored... paid and left... not sure if we will go back

It had the potential to be amazing. Our waitress was good but she could've been better. We ordered appetizer plate and I said we wanted the mild wings because I don't do spice. She didnt bother to tell me even their mildest wings were still buffalo so we couldn't eat those at all. I had parmesan encrusted chicken and it wasn't close to what the menu showed and was tough. I ate a single bite. My daughter got Mediterranean tacos which came cold and not so good. Also the spin dip came cold with bnb ine side warm so I still don't know if it's meant to be hot or cold. Mom got the ribs and they were good but it her sides were disgusting. We order the pizookie trio and they're amazing although we asked for nice cream in the side so we could take them with us. She didnt do that and when we re.unded her she simply said sorry but didnt fix that so we couldn't take this with us because they would have been to soggy. We paid about 100 bux for ribs and half of ok ur pizookie. We didnt ask for a discount but figured she would attempt to do something as we ate about 5 percent of the food because if their mistakes. Probably wont return or if we do we will make sure they take the time to get our stuff right.

BJ's is a nice place to walk into, it styles up to going into a cheesecake factory or pf chang's but with a steak and ribs atmosphere. It's menu is thick with honestly too many good options. What surprised me was the quality of the beef, it was just okay. I wasn't disappointed but not wowed by the taste and flavored the way I would enjoy it.

They were not firing on all cylinders today. Mozzerella sticks came out late and only warm. Pizooki was under cooked. Boneless chicken bites were mostly breading and seemed like were just deep fried out of the freezer. This is not what we have come to expect based on our visits to other cities. Our server even seemed a little distant. If I did not have positive experiences at other stores I would not be a repeat customer.

We ordered potato skins they were good . Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich club. It was ok. Bread was very soggy and my wife order lemon Tyne Chicken. The chicken was good but the rest was under cooked. My Fry's we're cold on the plate. Second time here last time food was not that great either

Absolutely loved this place. I've been here at least three or four times a month, but I'll never come here again. No restaurant should allow animals. I was sitting with my son enjoying dinner, when someone walked in with an 80 lb labrador, and they sat them in the booth right next to us. Nobody else was in the restaurant. Ridiculous. I love animals... even ran a rescue for a long time. With that being said, they don't belong in restaurants.

I am the type of person who will give a business a second chance if I experienced bad service. About a month ago we ate here and the food was just awful. It was cold and didn't taste very good. We spent about $120. We decided today to return and give them another chance to earn back our business. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. The server was very attentive and so nice. Our food arrived and my steak, broccoli and baked potato was cold. Not even warm. The steak was ordered medium and it was well done. It was a weird color inside. Like a pale gray. It tasted odd. I was only able to tolerate a few bites and couldn't continue. My husband's pizza was cold. He got a box to take it home so he could heat it up. The server asked me if everything was ok because she saw my steak wasn't eaten. I told her it was fine because I didn't want to complain. Unfortunately, we won't be back to Bj's. We spent about $110 and the kid's were the only ones who ate.

Could it be worse? Nope! Ordered Wedge salad to start. Then the Ribeye with Chili and garlic veggies. How did that go? First. No chili. They were out So skip the chili and decided a loaded baked potato instead. Then I am told no wedge salad either. Okay. Skip that too. Dinner arrives. No veggies to be seen anywhere. Baked potato seems microwaved as the skin is anemic and part of the baker is hard. Then the steak. Grill temps clearly off. Half the steak is medium rare as requested and the other half of it well done. Yeah. As seen in the photo. No further words. Just what it is. Terrible all around. Had to go get dinner elsewhere unfortunately.

I really used to love this place... But this is a $16.28 meal.... I never, ever do this, but I asked to talk to the manager. He told me that yes, that is a $16 meal. I did ask him to look at it again a little bit closer. He asked me what I wanted, and I told him I'd like to have a little more food in that on that plate. After some discussion on how prices are high everywhere, he did nicely agree to add some more chicken and to make the salad less soggy. A salad like this (& a little bit bigger at Rafferty's is $10). A salad with a full chicken breast at Wendy's is about $7. I should have gone to Wendy's.

I ordered buffalo wings, avacado eggrolls and and spaghetti with meatballs. Worst food ive tried in a long time. They used OLD avacado for the rolls in which you could taste how it was almost rotten. Wings were too charred which left them without taste and the spaghetti was generic. I was very dissapointed. Please dont come to this place unless you want to waste your hard earned money on NASTY food. Hope this review stops you from making the same mistake i did.

This was our 1st and last time at this location. Had to ask for refills after waiting for them for 10+ minutes. Wasn’t checked on by server to see if we needed refills or was missing condiments. We came during a slow lunch time so it wasn’t exactly busy. Manager decides instead of helping server look for something behind the bar that it was a good idea to yell it in an annoyed tone across a dining room with guests in it. Then we had to ask for our check after waiting a while and then waited another 15 minutes for server to come cash us out. I don’t mind waiting especially if a place is busy or short staffed but they were neither busy nor short staffed.

Went here and ordered the spinach artichoke dip and it was luke warm and not very good I ordered the mahi tacos and asked for no onion and the server told me If I got no onion there would be nothing on it. When I got the tacos they had sauce and lettuce but a really sad piece of fish. My friend got the chicken Alfredo pasta again with a really sad piece of chicken. Wouldn’t come back

We spent a lot of time waiting to get our drinks and started ordering and no one showed up. We asked for a booth but they said we closed the area because of shortages of hands. When we walked out, the reception just said bye without asking why you are living or about our experience. They have zero customer service and satisfaction. We shocked about this super negative experience with BJs, it’s the first time ever we have this bad experience. Not recommended this branch at all.
