Their heating system was down. I’d freeze again to enjoy the masterful blending of herbs and spices !! Can’t wait to get back.
Been here a few times, and it has never disappointed. Definitely a Folsom favorite for Thai food! Food is great with a nice ambiance to it. Some tables on the side are situated too close to each other, but it's not bad. You can't go wrong with this place! Good with families or small groups. Will definitely be returning.
Picked up online order. Food was very good, service was quick. Notified by text when ready to pickip!
I have not had the opportunity to eat in the restaurant. I order food to pick up there. And the staff is always friendly and helpful. And the food is fantastic. I highly recommend their Pumpkin Curry. if you have never had it, just know, it's not American pumpkin, It's a fantastic taste and not some pumpkin spice latte thing. Their Poo ja is very tasty, a bit sweet. the wife doesn't love sweet tastes in her food. But still very much liked this.
Great food, good quantities ands friendly staff
Extremely fresh and flavorful food. The fried foods were crispy and not greasy at all. The sauces were delicious yum yum I love it the dining room was very peaceful and beautiful. Such a nice touch to have a flower on our straw for our Thai tea. Also, the table napkins were so cute and folded into tiny hats. Cute family friendly place to have a nice dinner. The water was fresh and infused with lemon lime and oranges. It looked very appetizing everytime the waitress came by to offer refills. They have a wonderful outside seating area with very nice festive lighting and it will be perfect for the summer to dine outside. Even though we came an hour before closing, we did not feel rushed at all. The fish in their tank looked very happy to be there greeting everyone. Thank you for dinner and big compliments to the chef.
This was my first time eating at Thai Folsom. I had my favorite Thai dish, Cashew nut stir fry with chicken. It was served with basmati rice and was delicious! We were served a salad with peanut dressing to start, also delicious! The food came quickly, and our server checked on us regularly. I also enjoyed the beach scenes playing on the TV in the dining room. It was a lovely lunch!
I love this place! Amazing service and fast. Food portions are very big and good. I went again and service was still great and awesome. My go to place for lunch now ! I would recommend this place to my friends and family. Pricing is decent like any other place. Price: $$ Food: 9/10 Service: 10/10 Customer service: 10/10 Clean/Covid 10/10
Great food and sweet people running it. Always enjoy the Thai food its so fresh.... and the dining atmosphere is very simple and clean.
Great food and good size portions. Nice staff and a variety of options including many vegetarian options
This is a great place to have a meeting in the afternoon. Good food, friendly service, reasonable prices. There are lots of options on the menu for custom dishes. I love their vegetarian options as well as their chicken and seafood options. Took my husband there yesterday for a late lunch and we still agree 5 stars.
The Pad Thai was good but we ordered it without enough spice, our fault. I ordered pork Larb spicy level "hot" or whatever is right below Thai hot, and it kicking! On the edge of too hot but fabulous. I make Larb at home all the time, and from now on I will be trying to duplicate this! Absolutely awesome. When I reheated leftovers the following day I mixed the Larb and Pad Thai which probably would offend a purist but it was perfect!
This is a serendipitous find on our way from Bay Area to south Tahoe. We haven’t had good Thai food for a long time (the ones we tried in Bay Area are often overly salty, small in portion and overpriced for some reason). We had a red curry dish and “Pla Rad Prig” (Filet of sole topped with sauteed onions, bell pepper, mushrooms, pea, carrots, basil, and spicy). They are both yummy and we really like the crispy sole filet.
Holy cow! This food is amazing! If you're looking for a good place to eat, this is a must! Forget all the fast food around this area, and try this place. The flavor is absolutely worth your time for a stopover to/from Tahoe. The staff was extremely friendly as well. I wish they had another location in the Bay area.
Probably this restaurant not needs my comment-review because they doing very good job! Fantastic food, really delicious and good size. Service is excellent! Everything there very lovely. See you soon.
Excellent Thai food. We ordered Multiple dishes for starters and entrees. All our dishes were very tasty, perfect flavor and spiciness. The avocado spring rolls were fresh and crunchy and the peanut sauce gave a perfect sweetness level in every bite. The Curry and Pad Se Ew drunken noodles tasted amazing with a lot of veggies in it. Portion sizes are so generous. The ambience is so peaceful and family friendly. Staff are accommodating and friendly. Will highly recommend this place in the Folsom Area.
Love this thai spot, great food, and great service. Visited with my friends, and we ordered the tofu thai basil , drunken noodles shrimp, and chicken, fish, and eggplant. Another great visit and this time the devil hot wings was the star.
My family's favorite Thai place. Food is always fresh and the ambience is nice, we go at low traffic hours and always seem to get the entire restaurant to ourselves for the majority of our meals. Our favorite is their citrus orange sauce, such a flavor bomb & tastes like freshly squeeze orange juice! Also super affordable family style meals that is filling with great portions.
Papaya salad was great to start the meal. Red curry and stir fry chicken were very flavorful with a lot of ingredients! It’s a good place to stop by on the way to Tahoe
Food was so good with so many different distinct flavors. The staff was very friendly. First time having Thai food. We actually tried 3 apps and 3 entrees. Med spice to hot. The spice hits immediately but does not linger to where you can’t enjoy your food. I had the peanut curry and it was amazing, not spicy.
Papaya salad has nice tangy flavor. Tom yum soup was hot and nice. Drunken noodles had all good flavors. Highly recommend this place.
My party of three tried this place for the first time, last night. All I can say is "I shouldn't have waited until lastnight." Service was genuine and very personable. We ordered Spicey Thai Basil with Calamari, Mango Curry, and Pad Thai with Tofu. The food was excellent. I will certainly be back and I highly this restaurant. Small point: When we arrived, our table had 3 table settings with cloth napkins on it. (2-white and 1-pink). The person who sat us at the table, rearranged the napkins so that my daughter (the only female at our table) got the pink napkin. It was a minor gesture but it made me smile.
Great place to stop on a road trip between Bay Area and Tahoe! We stopped here for dinner, and the restaurant is very open and spacious with comfortable booth seats. The service is pretty efficient. Food was incredible. We got the mango curry with shrimp which blew us away, and the chicken pad Thai was the exact carb load we needed after a day of walking around. This place is also very close to a Costco, so you can fill up on gas if needed as well.
The best Thai I had in a while. Pad Kee Mao, Mango curry and spicy fried rice was so yummy, couldn’t stop eating. So good!
Beautiful atmosphere, great service, delicious food! Chicken pad thai and thai tea highly recommended!

Delicious, savory, hospitable, super clean, relaxing and comfortable, always consistent with quality dishes and service. Folsom Thai has become a staple for date nights for us. 5 stars all the way. Skip the busy popular places near the Paladio and head to Folsom Thai 🌶️
I love this place. It's great for business lunch, personal lunch, dinner... heck if they had breakfast I'd probably eat that here too. I love their fresh rolls with peanut sauce, pad thai, yellow curry, and especially the ginger wok dish - my favorite. They accommodate gluten allergy and have coconut or regular dairy for the thai tea. My friends regularly get other amazing dishes that I can't eat but they really enjoy the flavor. Lots of good vegetables. Good lunch specials. Seriously, my favorite thai restaurant in Folsom. I've done dine in and take out with consistent quality. So good.

Pretty good taste to the food. I will go back because I live nearby but, the food isn’t anything to write home about. The ingredients seemed fresh so that’s good. Best part might be the price. It was about good value, just not the best Thai I’ve had.
Decent spot for thai food. Pad thai was a bit on the sweeter side, but very tasty nevertheless. Curry had alot of veggies and meat. Curry puffs weren't on the menu, but was available when asked. Highly recommend those puffs. Also got citrus chicken and expected similar to orange chicken but its just chicken katsu with sauce.
This restaurant was recommended by a coworker. I thought, why not. Ordered takeout pad thai and a thai iced tea. The portions are large and come in nice containers. The staff was very friendly. The place was empty but, i did go at an odd time. The pad thai was okay. I usually like lots of sauce.
Tried their small tom yum shrimp soup with rice and it was ok, probably better than average but not exactly wow. Had 4 small sized shrimps in the soup, flavours were decent, and whilst it says small, I was pretty full once rice was added together. Neat and clean ambiance, very reasonable pricing, friendly staff. Price guide (as of Sep 2025): Tom yum shrimp small $14.99 Jasmine Rice $3 Merlot $7.50 Tax $1.99
Great Pad Thai and fried rice. The restaurant was very nice inside and clean. Service was good as well.
Compared to nearby Thai restaurants, the drunken noodles and pad sew ew here were underwhelming, but the fried rice and stir-fried eggplant were much better. The fried rice, in particular, was impressive. Wherever I go, even if waiters aren’t particularly friendly, they usually don’t come across as cold. However, two out of the three servers I encountered that day seemed so rigid that I wondered if they were upset about something. It even made me question if I had done something wrong.
Came in with a party of 4 at around lunch time on a Friday. Plenty of available seats. We were able to choose where to sit. Ordered the following: - Avocado Spring Rolls with peanut sauce - Yellow curry chicken - Angel Wings - fried crispy stuffed chicken - Mango Sticky Rice - Thai Iced Coffee - Thai Iced Tea We were happy with all the food we ordered. The Thai Iced Coffee & Tea were just ordinary. Nothing special. The sauce on the sticky rice was thick and very sweet. The way it should be, so most in our party were happy. I find it too sweet for my taste. Avocado spring rolls was fresh & with crisp vegetables inside and has a great tasting peanut sauce. Angel wings, although very crispy as promised was just so-so. The Yellow Curry Chicken with rice was a bomb. Super happy with it. We were given complimentary small size salad while waiting for our food. When ordering a meal with rice, there’s an option for brown rice (for extra $1.50). A lot of parking spaces outside, clean and bright restaurant. Good service
Great Thai! I had the Chicken Pad Thai and my wife had Pad See Ew. Both dishes were very flavourful and fresh. My only frustration was the service was a little slow and lacking.
Such great atmosphere and food on a late evening! Staff are so nice, and the food is on point! Mango fried rice ftw! I had to leave suddenly and they were so helpful getting my food into to-go containers! Peanut satay sauce is the best. Try this place!

Attentive service, nice atmosphere & music. Pad thai was rather soggy for my taste, and I really had to look hard to find any chicken! So was the folsom salad -- little too much sauce, and the ice tea was too sweet. Have certainly had better Thai elsewhere (Bay Area, for example).
The food was fantastic— recommend the spring rolls and drunken noodles, Only downside is the pricing; $20 for fried rice feels steep, with price hikes well outpacing inflation in the past year.
