I don't understand if those who wrote negative reviews about this restaurant feel like judges on a master chef... We stopped here for lunch. The cuisine and flavors are simple, with a few unique dishes that left us satisfied. The staff is kind and helpful. The prices and portions are fair. Everything was well-thought out. We may not return on purpose, but we had a great time and enjoyed our stay there. Recommended, despite the few negative reviews. Plus, they have lactose-free crema catalana, a pleasant discovery 🥰

Excellent experience. Super friendly and helpful staff. We had two pizzas, and to say they were good is an understatement. The dough was light and didn't stick to your stomach. The price was quite affordable.

It was a challenging morning....you arrived at Cinghialetto without great expectations...but instead? You found a welcoming place, a menu, and staff that exceeded all expectations. Starters, first courses, second courses, and desserts were all top notch. Highly recommended! And by the way, a challenging day turned into a truly beautiful one.

We were tourists in the beautiful city of Fonni, we stopped at a restaurant for lunch. I can give it 5 stars out of five, the atmosphere, the food, the wine 🍷 everything is on point. We had wild boar with potatoes, it was delicious. The pasta with truffles is divine. The house red wine is very, very tasty, I recommend it 🥰

Excellent experience. We called at 4:30 PM at the end of the hike from Bruncu Spina to P.ta La Marmora. We then had lunch in the afternoon with a platter and a first course of tortelli filled with exceptional wild boar meat! Highly recommended for the quality and hospitality.

Excellent traditional restaurant in Fonni, you see locals and even the Polizi eating here. The pasta is sublime and the local cheese selection is great. Make sure you brush up on your Italian before a visit as English was no spoken at all here.

Siamo stati lì solo per una cena, sarò breve e conciso, cibo ottimo, quantità scarsa anzi scarsissima, un piatto di ravioli, con 6 ravioli. Oltre questo prezzi veramente troppo sopra la media. Usciti da lì con una spesa di 85 euro in 2 per un tagliere di salumi e 2 primi e un bottiglia di vino rosso. Peccato perché basterebbe poco per soddisfare il cliente visto l'ottimo servizio e la qualità del cibo.

Abbiamo usufruito solo del ristorante dove si mangia veramente, veramente bene ma (secondo me) la pecca più grossa sono le porzioni che ho trovato davvero insufficienti. Antipasto di salumi e formaggi a dir poco favolosi, davvero gustosi soprattutto con l'abbinamento di una confettura di arance e del miele di loro produzione. Ottimi e ricercati anche i primi che, serviti in un ottimo impiattamento, veramente ci hanno deliziati, ma giusto il tempo di assaporarne il gusto che erano già terminati 😡😡😡😡. (mannaggia ai fans di Cracco e Bastianich). Non c'è un vino della casa ma si può scegliere solo tra il calice o la bottiglia... Grande professionalità del cameriere che ci ha serviti, molto educato e gentile. Prezzo onesto se le porzioni fossero state più generose ma sulla qualità assolutamente giusto. Do 3 stelle solo per le quantità che mi ha deluso non fosse altro che le pietanze erano favolose e ne avrei mangiato in quantità 😂. Lo consiglio.

Buonasera, io e la mia fidanzata siamo stati a pranzo al ristorante “il cinghialetto” dopo una Gita alla neve, Eravamo affamati e l’ unico punto di ristoro aperto per pranzo era questo. Esperienza per certi versi positiva ma per altri negativa. Abbiamo ordinato una taratare di asinella con noci e pecorino fuso davvero buonissima se non fosse che nel menu costava 13€ mentre nello scontrino ci è stata fatta pagare 15€ l’una; Entrambi poi abbiamo ordinato come primo dei culurgiones deliziosi erano per la precisione 7 a ciascuno e infine ci siamo fatti convincere dall’ idea di poter prendere un maialetto arrosto come proposto dalla cameriera tra l’ altro molto brava e gentile, ma essendo sardo anche io, e non essendo la prima volta che l’ ho mangiato credo di poter capire che il maialetto era cotto nel forno. Per contorno abbiamo preso una porzione in due di patate al forno. Non abbiamo preso niente altro, solo due bottiglie da litro d’ acqua. Il conto è però parso abbastanza eccessivo, 116€.

Ristorante interno ad un hotel, abbastanza anonimo, senza nessuna vista. Piatti non eccezionali e con un rapporto qualità/prezzo tendenzialmente sbilanciato verso il basso.

We had dinner at this restaurant, located on the first floor of a hotel. The menu looked interesting, the pasta dishes were passable, but the pork and sausage were reheated, dry, and tough. The staff were unsympathetic. The only interesting thing was the wine list.

Restaurant review. It's a hotel restaurant on the first floor. The dining room is nothing special, but the staff is well-trained, friendly, and efficient. The menu seems interesting, but unfortunately has three major flaws. 1. The dishes always lack flavor. We ordered the offal, which I'd say was banal. The truffle meatballs were too breaded and fried poorly, covering all the flavors. The Eevada was tasteless. The wild boar tortelli were a positive, although they were too cheesy. 2. Small and unsatisfactory portions. 3. Prices are too high for the portions and overall quality. Too bad.

We ordered a platter of mixed cured meats and cheeses, but we found nothing mixed: three slices of cheap ham, some strips of something that looked like bacon, some cheese that tasted like it was refrigerated (maybe Grana Padano), two beef ribs, some chips cooked in used oil, two bottles of water: €100!!! Not to eat.

Siamo stati lì, stuzzicati dalle belle recensioni ingannevoli (e forse anche false!) trovate su Tripadvisor e Google che elogiano questo locale. Lo abbiamo provato personalmente e possiamo affermare che non è tutto oro quello che luccica! Prezzi molto al di sopra della media per porzioni di cibo da fame. Cercano di rifilarti a tutti i costi la costata proponendoti un kg di carne alla modica cifra di 50 euro... ovviamente nel kg di carne è compreso anche l'osso e dubito che si possa mangiare anche quello! Misero tagliere di carne e formaggi a 18 euro, fettine sottilissime in stile carta velina. Cameriera con i capelli neri e gli occhiali da vista, abbastanza scocciata quando le abbiamo detto che per noi una costata così grande sarebbe stato troppo e che avremo preferito dividerla in due, a questo punto ci è stato risposto che non era possibile. Una vera e propria trappola per i turisti. Unica nota positiva: il bagno pulito anche nel pomeriggio.

Siamo stati a mangiare all’hotel ristorante Il Cinghialetto di domenica, le aspettative erano alte visto la hall in stile lussuoso ma nonostante ciò non siamo stati accolti non nel migliore dei modi, abbiamo aspettato circa 10 minuti prima che ci venisse assegnato il tavolo nonostante la prenotazione, gli alti prezzi sul menu ci hanno fatto sperare in un ottimo pasto, ma ahimè ci siamo ricreduti. Abbiamo consumato due primi, 4 secondi, bottiglia di vino della casa e i caffè per un totale superiore ai 220 euro, non ci è stato servito il pane di accompagnamento, abbiamo mangiato tutti in tempi diversi, (probabile confusione all’interno della cucina) i contorni sono arrivati dopo aver terminato i secondi, ho mangiato il brasato al cinghiale e le polpettine al cinghiale, che di tutto sapevano tranne che di cinghiale. Le polpettine hanno ricordato quelle al polpo di un qualsiasi all you can eat cinese di bassa qualità, il brasato di cinghiale erano semplicemente 3 bocconcini di carne su una fetta di pane carasau bagnato, senza alcuna salsa, carne asciutta che mi ha fatto rischiare il soffocamento, nonostante la fame non sono riuscito a terminarla per paura. Finisce il pasto finalmente decidiamo di andare via, una signora alla cassa è stata molto scocciata alla richiesta di pagare conti separati, dopo qualche chiacchiera inutile decide di farci pagare alla romana ma tutti in contanti o tutti con carta senza possibilità di scegliere, poi ci richiama dentro perché dimentica di mettere nel conto i caffè. Beh che dire, tra i tanti ristoranti rinomati della zona siamo finiti proprio nel posto sbagliato, una sgradevole esperienza che fa male alla nomea della provincia.

Extremely low quality/price ratio. Spent €150 for four people without finding a single tasty dish. No empathy from the staff. The roast was reheated. Not to mention the ravioli with wild boar sauce and the seadas with practically no honey.

Good food, but if you want to split the bill and pay with cash, the other person can't pay by card because they've issued a single receipt. Terrible, I've never seen anything like it. In fact, if you search online, it says exactly this: the restaurant must accept multiple payment methods for the same bill. It was a busy, snowy Sunday (COVID is out there, we get it) and we called around 14:30 to book a table. That told us they were busy and that they would call us back within 15/20 minutes when a table would free up. Neve le heard from them since then. Guess they did not want new customer :)
