The burger, the chicken strip sandwich and the fries were all good. They also have good sweet tea. Friendly staff as well. Nothing fancy but a cute lil pit stop. Next time I'll try the pie!

My Mom and I are driving back from Illinois and I googled “best home cooking restaurants near me”. I’m so glad this one came up. The waitress was so polite, friendly, and helpful with the menu. The restaurant is clean. The pickled green tomatoes and red onions that come as an option with an order were delicious! The fried fish and shrimp combo was hot, fresh and delicious! The hush puppies tasted home made. The house fries were fresh hand cut potatoes fried to perfection and delicious! This place is a gem!! Five stars ❤️

Quant little diner right as you get into town with excellent service, food, and atmosphere. Good ol' classic feel. Make sure to ask what their specials are! Good sweet tea too. I got the Open Faced Roast Beef with mashed potatoes and gravy and slaw. It was excellent. Cousin got the Chicken Fried Steak and also said it was great. I will definitely be back, and easily recommend.

This is a 10 Star Cafe on a 5 star scale!!! We have eaten many places in 49 different states and many different countries, and I’d say this is the best of them ALL!!! The food is amazing the service is friendly and fast! Who would have thought a small metal building in the middle of No Man’s Land, would be this good! We were on our way from Moro Bay State Park to Lake Ouachita State Park and had to find a place to eat where we could park our truck, camper, boat “train” and this cafe had a large parking lot! That’s what got us there… but the Fish and Trimmings will bring us back!!! Everything was cooked to perfection with a very nice seasoning! I noticed they also offer a dinner plate special of home cooked, southern food that also looked and smelled delicious! Must have been because they ran out while we were there! Check this place out… you will be so glad you did!!! Thank you, RED’s, for offering great food at reasonable prices!!! We LOVE Red’s!!!

Red's was an excellent choice to go to for breakfast. They were incredibly flexible and were able to accommodate 20+ members of our family as shown in the photos! Food was delicious and generously sized. Would definitely recommend!

Yummy!! Pie!! I wish I had tried this place sooner. The burger was so good. The tator tots were crispy and delicious. Just perfect. Great service and damn this pie is good!!!

Quaint little cafe and we had the catfish fillets & all the fixings. So fresh & delicious! Staff was extremely nice & the prices super reasonable!!! Going to try their cheeseburger which is very popular also next trip.

Food is prepared quickly and it is very tasty. The servers are always friendly, helpful and patient (patience can be tried dealing with our large group). It is a hometown diner with everything you expect. I wish there was a place like Reds in my hometown.

It’s hit or miss with the quality and taste of the food. My biggest complaint is the prices are never consistent when you order something to go. My husband and I order the same thing every time we call and sometimes it’s $20 and others it’s $26. It doesn’t make any sense for what we get.

Service excellent. Very good teamwork & so nice. Didn't expect chicken fried chicken to be pre-made patties but surprisingly not bad. Coleslaw yummy. Mashed potatoes were probably instant and didn't care for brown gravy. I liked the white gravy on the chicken. The chicken on sandwich was exact same pre-made patty as the plate. Price reasonable. Friendly atmosphere best part of restaurant.

Hadn't been here in years. I left my plate full. Barely even edible. Not what I remembered.

July 26 2025. I ordered breakfast this morning. Nothing fancy. Just pancakes. There were multiple people came in after me that received their orders before myself. When I did get my order. The pancakes were very tough. I left most of them. My drink was almost empty and I was never asked if I needed a refill. Very poor service. Then I was asked if I wanted to leave a tip. Fordyce really needs a good restaurant and reds is far from being one
