Cafe Seville is hands down one of my top 3 favorite places in South Florida for dinner. The Mediterranean ambiance, Elegant atmosphere, and exquisite combinations of different dishes will truly take make you feel like your in a different country. The Resturaunt is ran by Joey and Sally, who ensure their customers are by no means ever disappointed. While I can definitely say everything on the menu is incredible, my personal favorite is the “stuffed pork chop” entree. This masterpiece comes out with 12 ounces of the juiciest, tenderest pork, stuffed with melted cheese and a blend of herbs & spices that will make your taste buds rapidly malfunction. If your looking for a relaxing times a seat at the bar and meet the beautiful and intelligent Vanessa and Lauren. Both specialize in craft cocktail creations and will make you a drink you never knew existed. The sangria is absolutely out of this world!!! Haven’t found another place that can even come close to mimic the quality, taste, and effectiveness of this sangria. If your looking for a phenomenal dinner with a unique mix, look no further than Cafe Seville. Promise you will not be disappointed.
Amazing! Paella is delicious, white sangria (Clerico) perfect, and the flourless chocolate cake so yummy. Service is delightful, if you want to sit at the “Seville” part of the restaurant do a reservation, other wise site at the bar or the hight tables still beautiful place, you won’t regret.
Yes. It’s been a long time since my last visit and I can’t believe I forgot about this place. Same waiter for over 20 years. Superb food. A hidden gem. Not on open table. A locals place. I recognize people from many years ago. Spanish flare. We started with the octopus. Perfect. She had osso buco. I have the yellowtail snapper. Both excellent. Snapper was fresh and thick. Unlike the thin snapper I’ve had lately around town. Loved it all Local reviews by a local for over 50 years. Just the stuff not the fluff
Saw this driving by and decided to try for dinner! Staff was awesome. Mario was right on with going over menu and recommendations. The food, drinks, and desserts were delicious and this will be a new family favorite restaurant everytime we are in town! And my all my three kids LOVED everything from the appetizers to desserts! Not a bad thing on the menu!
Cafe Seville is consistently a very good dining experience from the greeting when entering to the servers and even when leaving. The menu is extremely broad with many offerings and possibilities -- should you prefer a different sauce than in the description, just ask and they are happy to make a change. I always enjoy the Gazpacho Andaluz and tonight was no different. The Caesar salad is a very good classic treat. This evening I enjoyed the Long Island Duck and Yellowtail with Santa Fa sauce. Wrapping up the meal with a Spanish teramasu. To make this evening even more special was that Cafe Seville was participating in the annual Dining Out for Life event by donating 35% of the evening's income to Broward House. Thank you Cafe Seville.
The food here is simply amazing!! The owner came to our table and introduced himself. I’m from New Jersey and he travel through my town from time to time. He gave us a complementary chicken dish. The sauce on that dish you could put on a old leather boot and eat it. I’m coming here every year!! Make sure you speak to the owner Joe! He’s an amazing person!!
Genuinely the best restaurant we've ever been in the U.S. Serge is the best server. We had the most joyful convo, stories and his sweetest recommendations as a foodie. Freshest tasteful escargot, best house wine, most tender and creamy duck and juicy local swordfish. The owner sat down chatted with us about his passion. Most relaxed welcoming vibe, we build connection and enjoy the company. Decent price, worth to come in your lifetime. Thank you for such an amazing experience. We appreciate you.
Wonderful experience! The atmosphere is somewhat cozy as the dining area is divided into several rooms. The Waite staff was friendly, attentive and patient. I was blown away by the variety of the Daily Specials menu but it was first time so I had to try the Paella and I’m so glad I did!!! The food was delicious and well balanced. The Sangria and Margaritas were delicious too! Overall it was a wonderful dining experience!
I pulled up reviews for this restaurant before I went because I was in town on a business trip. I was looking for good seafood and just an overall good experience. I called to see if they could fit me in and the man on the phone said just ask for Joey when you come I’ll get you a seat. I later found out that Joey was the owner. When I arrived, he sat me at the bar amongst a bunch of his friends, and I began a night of the most delicious dining and wonderful bar drinks from Kevin. I think it was even the patrons that made this place even better. I had the shrimp Santa Fe appetizer, the red sauce reminded me of my mom‘s homemade cooking, delicious! I had a special called the Seabass ole. It was so flavorful! And Kevin, the bartender was one of the best bartenders I’ve ever experienced! He mixed up delicious drinks with genuine friendliness and care. His service was superb! Thank you, Joey, Kevin and patrons of Seville for making my night in Fort Lauderdale so satisfying!
If you are looking for delicious food prepared with a touch of Spain, then this is the right restaurant for you. I love everything about it. The atmosphere here is relaxing and comfortable. The staff are welcoming and professional. The food is excellent especially their famous Paella 🥘
I can not say enough about Cafe Seville as I have been going there or picking up take out for 20 years. We liked our office Christmas 🎄 Dinner so much last year, my employees asked to go back..... This year was even better. Serge and Pepe were great and Joey picked the perfect spot for us near the Christmas tree. We started with seafood paella, had appetizers including octopus and chorizo. I love how they bring you a mantel with their feature dishes. It's super cozy and quaint. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I had been wanting to go for quite a while and finally made it!!! Went on Wednesday night, and the place was already packed! but we were able to get a table with no reservation. -The place is in a nice plaza with free parking. Sevice: Top notch! everyone was extra nice in a genuine way. -Menu: giant wine list with great prices. They have night apecials and regualr menu with plates around $30 and some more expensive can get up to 50. My girl friend and I we both got the pork chop, and it was really good. They have a good selection from pork to rabbit, duck, and venison. Restaurante is super chill with a super nice vibe I will give it a 4.8, and I'm looking forward to getting back
The best restaurant in Fort Lauderdale and just a remarkably good place. It has the most important thing a place can have - a soul. All the customers seems happy and kind. I keep going back for the food, of course, but really the magic.
Love this restaurant! The santa fe sauce is yummy. I usually get it with the cod but it’s good on everything. Love their sangria too! Great service! It’s one of my favorite places in town.
Owner was so kind! There was supposed to be a wait but got us in right away. All staff very friendly and the owner truly cared about his customers experience
I tried the scallops & Shrimp Malaga, exquisite and full of flavour. Vanessa was super attentive & knowledgeable. I enjoyed the familiar and rustic vibe. A must try..🥰
We had a delicious dinner, good wine, friendly people, the owner came to our table to welcome us,I felt like dining on Italy! LOVED!
In a strip mall i have driven past for over 15 years. So glad I took a chance here. They have a great menu. We had the stuffed fish and the salmon in a puff pastrie. Loved them both. I will be back. I want to try the rabbit and the paella. (Two separate dishes).
My husband and I found this restaurant on Google and we ventured to go on Saturday the 7th. Despite it being full, they were very kind and made room for us at the bar. The service was very, very splendid, not to mention the delicious food and good wine! 100% recommended! We will definitely be back!
This is our 4th time going to Cafe Seville! Whenever we are in Fort Lauderdale, we always stop in here because they have the best tres leches we have ever had in our lives! This trip was different because my husband and I have been raving about this place since we first came here in 2021. We finally brought the kids here and so glad we did. They validated what we always knew, the food is amazing and hands down, best tres leches ever had! When in Fort Lauderdale or if you are a local, highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone! Joey, the owner is so great and always makes us feel welcomed. His staff has been with him all along and that speaks to the excellent service that we always experience when we stop in! Thank you! We will be back next year!
We had this place bookmarked for a while, but never had the chance to go. On this particular weekend, my wife said it was time to check this off our list. We have heard from our friends this is the best Spanish restaurant in the area and based on our conversation about their experience, we decided to go with one of their signature dishes, the Seafood Paella!!! Even though we did not make the reservation, the host was willing to take us in and gave us a nice table. The place may not be huge, but I love the Mediterranean vibe. It felt nice and welcoming. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. He helped us pick out a nice bottle of Spanish wine to pair with our seafood paella. There were also several specials going on that night and we decided to order the Octopus Santa Fe as our appetizer. I think they should bottle that sauce because it tasted great. The octopus was nice and soft and it was just a wonderful dish. And then our seafood paella came. It was absolutely the best seafood paella I've ever had. It's got a lot of seafood init like scallops, clams, shrimps, and muscles. The rice was nice and got tons of flavors. The portion was huge, probably big enough for 2-3 people. Everything was absolutely delicious! Definitely worth the 5 Stars.
Everything was AMAZING from beginning to end! José was our fantastic waiter! Delicious food (so many choices), great service, and wonderful ambiance. We certainly will be back!
Fantastic Restaurant. Service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly. The food was outstanding. One of my favorite meals. The Bronzino Franchese was maybe the best fish dinner I have ever had. The Paella was amazing. The Red Snapper was incredible. The desserts were also fantastic.
This place probably doesn’t need anymore hype, or praise, but here’s more anyway! It was all around fantastic! You honestly can’t judge a book by its cover. The outside may attempt to persuade you to believe it’s a hole in the wall establishment. Contrary once you step inside you are promptly greeted, and seated in this dimly lit, Spanish themed restaurant. The lighting promotes romance and a laid back experience. The servers are all one big family, and wonderful team. Prepare to be treated like you’re right at home! No complaints at all, even the water was good! My wife and I had “The National Dish of Spain” a wonderful blend of seafood, chicken, and Spanish rice. A large dish intended for two $57.95. We also had a pitcher of Sangria $29. I recommend all!
How have I lived here so long without discovering this gem of a restaurant within a stone’s throw from the Intracoastal and beach!?! Well, we know it now, and you should, too! I left a message for a birthday dinner for two, and imagine my surprise when Joey, the owner, called back personally! We were greeted by him as well when we arrived, and were treated like family, or more like the Royal Family. The food was outstanding…yellow-tail snapper with artichokes and tomatoes, corvina with shrimp, sherry and saffron, a delightful Spanish tapa of traditional meat, cheese and olives, and a heavenly creme brûlée to end this delicious meal. The cuisine is high quality, fresh, cooked to order, and served piping hot! The service was outstanding, and Joey the owner checked in on everyone as though he had cooked for us at home. Make reservations! This place is filled with devoted locals and tourists, alike. Located at the foot of the drawbridge, in a shopping strip, you will find plenty of parking. I can’t wait to go back! Oh, and the decor is lovely, reminding me of favorite spots in Barcelona! Gracias, Cafe Seville!
Best dining experience we had in a long time, the service was exceptional and the food delicious, this restaurant has been here forever and the waiters have been working here for over 25 years, they were so engaging and the owner came to talk to us which gave it a nice touch, on top of all it has a full bar with great drinks. Can’t wait to go back.

Amazing taste, atmosphere, service! 5 star is not enough. A seafood lovers dream

Joey runs a great spot here. Been going for a few years and the fresh fish and daily specials board are always excellent. Try the Clams Navarro and thank me later. Sergio is my favorite server, and Kevin does a great job behind the bar. This place is a gem!
We have driven by many times and decided to stop in for dinner. The food and service blew us away! Everyone (Joey, Kevin, Mario) was so kind from the second we arrived. Our table ordered off the specials menu including the yellowtail. We all had different preparations and each one was delicious and fresh. Mario our server made great recommendations and was patient with our questions. Do not skip the tres leches!
The best food in Fort Lauderdale, bar none. We have been going here for years and bringing guests. They are always amazed. Owner Joe Esposito and his staff, especially Aldo, are amazing. Clams Navarro, amazing salad, Snapper, grouper, soft shell crabs Crab bisque even lamb shank and rabbit. All fantastic. All sorts of different fish dishes and veal with a Spanish flair. Do not miss Cafe Seville. I guarantee you will return over and over again.
Cafe Seville is a must go-to spot if you are in the Greater Fort Lauderdale area. The food is amazing, the cod Milanese is TO DIE FOR. The ambiance is amazing, the staff is incredibly kind, detail-oriented and enthusiastic to serve. The owner, operator is so personable and checks on each table asking for feedback. If you’re looking for incredible food, amazing service and a great night with friends or family - you’ll choose Seville!
There's a good reason that they have been there for 30 some years. Fantastic selection of fresh fish, That is reasonably priced. Many dishes you'll never see at other restaurants. The owner /host makes every guest feel like a friend or a family member. Don't miss this little sleeper.
I love this place and go here on special occasions. They offer great Spanish, and Spanish inspired cuisine. You can go online and look up their menu, but be aware that they offer a LOT of wonderful specialty items you will not see listed online. The owner and his wife are in attendance every night making sure every detail is just right. They have a great reputation and a good relationship with the surrounding community in the Bayview area. The waiters are well seasoned and knowledgeable about every dish and the selections of wine. Most, if not all the wait staff, have been with the business for many many years. They know the food, they know the wines and they will do anything they can to accommodate you. The mood lighting is dim. The decor is tasteful and the food has remained consistently good over the years that I have been going there. I think it's because the owners remain involved on a daily basis. This place is nice without being pretentious. The owner walks through talking with guests, gauging how things are going, while his elegantly dressed wife greets and seats the customers. Everybody has a well defined and executed function right down to the bus boys. I arrived well before the rest of my party. I had left early to accommodate traffic, but traffic was unusually light, so I had a bit of time to kill. I ordered a glass of wine, which was a little pricey, but I didn't mind. I don't really drink much alcohol and this wine was a good selection. The bartender was very nice. If anything, it's a a nice bar, in a nice restaurant, not a singles hangout. Later, the rest of my party arrived. We were seated for dinner and attended to right away. After perusing the menu, we ordered our delights. I started with their tasty crab bisque. It was healthy full bowl serving and piping hot. We booked quite early for dinner, so it was no surprise. It cooled down quickly enough and was delicious. Their bread was warm , smelling freshly baked and the whipped butter easily melted into it. I don't know why, but that's a big thing for me.... Perhaps a reminder of aunts and grandmother making fresh bread and leaving the butter to soften... Anyway, LOVED the bread. I ordered their lamb shank...I have had it before. It comes in a brown sauce and the meat just falls off the bone. A knife isn't really needed. It's so tender that it practically melts in your mouth requiring very little chewing and only your fork to break it up. The sauce is quite tasty and it came with rice that was properly cooked. You could separate the individual grains. To me, there's nothing worse than receiving a "clump" of rice where all the grains are fused together. Here, they get it right. Texture and taste go hand in hand. I'm also pretty sure that the rice is mildly seasoned because it tastes wonderful on its own. Another in our party duplicated my order and the third person opted for fish, salmon I believe and being a chef himself was quite pleased. Someone had Asparagus I believe and it was quite nice. Moving on to dessert, well I have had desserts there before, but this night I was pleasantly full. Normally, dessert is a must have, but the night I was there I didn't indulge. Believe me though, if you go, get dessert This is a mainstay restaurant for me and a lot of people I know. The dining experience is ALWAYS pleasant. The food is consistently well prepared and presented, the wait staff is efficient, experienced and knowledgeable, while the owners are pleasant and gracious down to earth people. They don't need to pretend to be anyone other than they are. The prices vary of course, but I think they're quite reasonable, especially for what you're getting. It's special, but you won't break the bank. Good food and good service always speak for themselves.
We visited Cafe Seville on Thursday evening. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the owner Joe and seated immediately. Our server, search was exceptional. I would definitely recommend the paella and it was definitely enough for two people. Thank you Joe for welcoming us in and making us feel like family. We will definitely be back with more friends.
The most authentic Paella anywhere in South Florida-- the seafood was so tender and there was a lot of it. Service was great and I love the long history of great Spanish food and seafood here!
We came here with a group of 25 for a work celebration and had such a fantastic experience! The paella, shrimp, and chicken dishes were fresh and delicious, and the wine selection was excellent. The wait staff was terrific—friendly, attentive, and able to handle our large party with ease. Plenty of parking made things easy, and the fun Spanish décor added to the festive vibe. Highly recommend Cafe Sevilla on Oakland—go, it’s great!

Café Seville has been around for a very long time. Unfortunately we have never eaten there. Went for my brothers' birthday since they live in Ft Lauderdale. Storefront restaurant that is extremely busy and somewhat loud. They have a specials board with about 20 specials. Started with a Caesar Salad, romaine lettuce, Caesar dressing and parmesan cheese which they split in the kitchen. Xtra points. I had the Cazuela de Mariscos , casserole of seafood featuring red snapper, shrimp, scallops, clams, mussels, and calamari in garlic, tomato, green peas and white wine. Very nice but I would prefer more seasoning. My wife ordered the Pollo Mediterráneo, breast of chicken topped with shrimp, scallops, crab meat and lemon butter. She liked it very much. Very nice wine list but could use wines in the $30 to $5 price range.
Great food and the staff takes good care of you, but waaaaaaaay too much garlic in everything. Literally overpowering garlic in several dishes. That said, flavours are outstanding. Just cut back on the excessive garlic and let the flavours shine some more. That said, will be back and do recommend. Good atmosphere and large selection.
As is often the case with South Florida in the midst of ever present ugly strip malls, you will find some surprisingly good dining. Cafe Seville is a handsomely designed cafe with a New York feel and a Staten Island atmosphere. My sense it this restaurant has a lot of regular patrons. Seville offers some traditional main courses such as lamb shank. They also offer paella though I did not order it. To me it is always a good sign when you are greeted with warm bread with a nice crispy outside. The lamb shank with gravy was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Server staff were pleasant. Overall, a positive experience and I can see why people return.

Overall experience was ok. May had too high expectations before we went. Food was ok, and nothing really jumped out and didn't satisfy my expectations of local food that I had when I was traveling around Spain. Service was good though, and it seemed like the servers have been there "forever", which speaks positively in a few ways. Probably a one-time experience for me, but also noticed while dining that they had many regulars.

Service was good though, and it seemed like the servers have been there "forever", which speaks positively in a few ways. Probably a one-time experience for me, but also noticed while dining that they had many regulars.
We ordered paella that had very little saffron or maybe or saffron at all. The rice used was jasmine , and that’s not the rice used for paella: I felt we got served a knock off paella for the regular price. The ham was the driest and was cut to thick. I’d recommend the chef go to Spain or to a real Spanish restaurant like Carajo in Miami to taste what real paella tastes like and the ham. You wil not see dining in this resto again. The only thing good was the Galicia Beer and our Server. Otherwise food was Terrible

I was deeply disappointed with everything. Their so called “Spanish” isn’t authentic. I have been to Spain many times and I frequently go to Spanish places in South Florida, I’m also Latin so I know about this type of food. As an appetizer we ordered their “Entremés Sevillano” which was a cold platter of Spanish ham, chorizo and cheese with olives not appealing at all, the ham and chorizo were old, not properly cut and overpriced for the poor quality and taste. We also ordered two of their soups, lentils and beans, they both lacked flavor, were cold and did not seem fresh, in other words, they were re-heated. For the main courses, we had the duck in cranberry sauce and a veal of ternera, they were poorly accompanied with steamed vegetables that seemed taken out straight from a Walmart cheap bag of veggies and the mash potatoes were gluey and unappetizing. The sangria we had was ok; We didn’t make it to dessert. The place is old, not clean (dust everywhere, specially lamps) and this makes one wonder how things are back in the kitchen. Just by looking at it from the outside, it isn’t appealing or tempting. There are far better places and with much better prices. Like Eatapas (which has a live guitar and flamenco show) or Bodega Santiago.
