This gelato display offers a tempting array of colorful flavors, and it was great—I had the pistachio and it was creamy and delicious.

Pan'e Dolci Italian Bakery, what a place. A must-visit for Italian food lovers, but honestly great for everyone. They offer everything you’d expect from a true Italian bakery: amazing espresso, authentic Italian gelato, excellent pasticceria, sweets, and signature baked goods. On top of that, they have pizza, sandwiches, focaccias, and antipasti, all done with quality ingredients and real flavor. It’s the kind of spot where you can stop just for a coffee or end up staying much longer enjoying the food. Perfect for both food and coffee lovers.

Amazing and authentic! We loved it. It is between and Italian restaurant and a cigar shop. A bunch of older Italian men were sitting outside, enjoying their Saturday night. We grabbed dessert - a hazelnut Gelato and a tiramisu. There was a huge selection so it was hard to narrow it down. The Gelato was creamy and full of hazelnuts. The tiramisu was light and tasty. I would probably visit this place a bunch if I lived nearby.

Don’t just walk by this place! It is fantastic! Came here for breakfast and had a pastry and espresso macchiato which were both delicious. I liked it so much I came back for lunch and got a panini w salami mortadella eggplant red peppers mozzarella drizzled w olive oil. Absolutely mouthwatering delicious. The smell of fresh pasties and fresh baked breads floods out of the door. Made me feel like I was back in Italy.

Really enjoyed our foccacia panini here. They were so big that we probably should've shared one between us. Either way, the food is delicious and the service attentive.

Great pastries and gelato! Local favorite for us south Floridians 😁 PS - a lady threatened a bad review while I was there, so please ignore it. She's just mad that a customer cut her in line, definitely NOT the employees fault 💜 so if you see a bad review for today 4/2/23, ignore it.

I love, love, love this bakery! I had taken my parents to Las Olas to check out some art and we needed a coffee break. So glad we stopped here! I mean, I live here and have walked by a million times but now it's on my list! There was only one lady working and by the time we made up our minds on what to eat and drink, there was a huge line. She was patient and hustled! We ordered chicken and pesto paninnis and pastries (I can't remember what they're called). They serve my favorite espresso (Lavazza) so we had lattes and cappuccinos (I only drink decaf, I know, lame, but they serve it!). And the have the best looking gelato! We sat outside on the sidewalk. Great place to relax and watch the activity of Las Olas. Only con, it was a bit pricey. Take a coffee break and check them out. Lovely spot!

I’ve been coming to this place regularly and usually really enjoy the coffee — it’s genuinely very good, and the atmosphere is great. I also try not to write negative reviews. Unfortunately, this time the experience was disappointing due to the service. The young man who served me (with two earrings) prepared a cappuccino with an extremely small amount of coffee — there was barely anything at the bottom. When I politely asked for more because it was essentially one sip, he instead filled the cup to the top with plain, cold milk. After that, I asked for a refund, but he said refunds are not provided. I then asked to speak with a manager, and he told me there was no manager available. It’s unfortunate, because I really like this place and the coffee is excellent, but due to this experience, I don’t think I’ll be returning. Thank you.

Nice place to have a good Italian coffee. The server is very polite and fast, she was alone and serving many people at the same time. This bakery has many sweet and pastry options. The espresso is very good, lavazza, Italian brand. The croissant was cold, they could have warmed it up to make it taste better

Decent Italian sandwich spot. I tried the prosciutto sandwich and it was good! fresh ingredients and solid flavor overall. The place itself is nice and has a pleasant, relaxed vibe. That said, the service could definitely be better. It felt a bit slow and not very attentive, which took away from the experience. With improved service, this place could be much better.

The gelato is bland, $25 for less than 6 Oz. The pastries are stale. It's a tourist trap with weary staff.

Stop in during a layover for our cruise. Visited Las Olas Blvd to enjoy the area vibe. Unfortunately, this bakery IMHO (in my humble opinion) would be considered a tourist trap! Way over prithe quality, quality, and portion sizes. We order 2 Small 1 Scoop cups of Gilato, $8.84 each. Picked up a 2 Pinoli (Pine Nut) Cookies (charged for Biscotti) $4.16 each, a Small Linzer Tart (charged for a large one, shame on me for not checking) $7.48 and Small Canolli $4.42. I loved the Linzer Tart, & the Canolli was very good. Cookies had a few Pine nuts on top but also had a stale taste to them. Prices are way too high for the quality and portion size! I've attached the receipt so you can see and judge for yourself. I suggest asking for prices before ordering. I would not recommend this bakery. Even the prices at Ferraro's in Little Italy, NY are more reasonable!

Cute shop with desserts on left side and food opposite. Maybe prices were high just because it was Las Olas Blvd.? (We have a great authentic Italian bakery near home in NY so this wasn't that great.) A mini pistachio cannoli was $4+ (just ok) and the panini was $20. The cheesecake slice looked nice, but not for $8+/slice, same for the gelato prices.

The pastries we got were good. However, the coffee was alright and the service was horrible. There are other places that are better around the area. I did not try their paninis so I can say anything about those. I don’t think I would come here again.

Bought 6 cookies/biscotti fo a whopping $19! That’s a crazy price. If they were amazing, I’d probably still think they were expensive. I’ve eaten two of the 6 so far and I’m not very amazed. One cookie had no flavor at all. Couldn’t even place whether it was supposed to be almond or amaretto flavor or what. The raisin cinnamon pastry (small) was decent though. I wouldn’t pay that kind of money again for not being wowed “right out of the box.”

This was not good ice cream. It feels like every ice cream needs flavor. Super overpriced!! We got a medium cup which was quite small, I can’t imagine how small is the small size lol

Full time resident from Victoria Park and Italian, last minute we stopped by for coffee by the way is amazing, however disappointed in the heart shape jelly cookie it was not fresh, it was hard abd been sitting out and the music was so loud we asked another couple and they agreed as well and music is like euro techno which does not go with setting of resturant and speaker over the cash register is so loud and the person at cash register english is not so great when ordering. Makes it challenging and mistakes, Seriously what is it with few of these places that have have such loud music you think your drawing in customers. ???? So stupid and we mentioned to the service and their answer was that what the owner likes...... Maybe put the speaker facing the entrance. I guess were going back to Ann Florist. I read the other reviews and it seems to be same issue service and quality of food...

I don’t like writing reviews like this especially for a local restaurant but this gelato wasn’t good. It was $25 for two ice creams (two small scoops each). The consistency was off and it was very bland. Tasted like ice, very little flavor. Neither of us enjoyed it which is a first given we are not ice cream snobs haha. Maybe they have better pastries? Their rent must be very high, so maybe they are producing lower quality items in result. Judging from the reviews I know I’m not alone. Hope it gets better! The man who served us was very nice.

I have been a loyal local customer of Panna Dolce on Las Olas for years, consistently praising their delicious pastries and friendly service to friends and family. I even brought out-of-town guests here on January 30th, expecting the wonderful experience I'd always had. Unfortunately, that night revealed such alarming issues that I cannot, in good conscience, return or recommend it anymore. Our visit started with an unexpectedly rude attitude from the guy behind the counter. While a bad day is understandable, what followed was not. When I ordered a coffee with biscotti, he reached into the display case with his bare hands, grabbed the biscotti, and tossed it into a bag. We were so put off that we didn't eat it. However, the most shocking and unacceptable moment came next. While changing out the raspberry gelato container, some gelato got on his finger. He licked his finger then wiped his finger around the rim of the new gelato tub to clean it, put his finger in his mouth to suck the gelato off, again and continued working to serve other customers. This is a blatant breach of basic food safety and hygiene.

I used to love going to this place, but I am not sure what happened (management change perhaps?) — I paid $26 for a single ice cream cone and one affogato. As many of the recent reviews state… it is way overpriced! Too sad.

Used to go there every now and then for gelato, used to like it, but now have to downgrade on my review from 5 stars down to 2. As a second part of the store being opened prices became unreasonable and portions went down in size dramatically. So, while store became bigger and nicer, value for the money went down and is not attractive anymore.

I asked for a prosciutto sandwich. They said they did not have any and they make all the sandwiches in the morning. It is 7:30 at night. I do not want to eat a sandwich that has been sitting out in the open all freaking day long. The meat is in the case. Make fresh food.

I went in there Friday night and they were playing obnoxious loud RAP music and even had the music video playing on tv screens. This is an Italian cafe in an upscale area with $20 sandwiches.. All the customers are obviously the opposite of that demographic, it was so out of place and as an Italian I am offended. I cannot understand how or why that music was being played, I had to bring it up to a couple other customers to make sure I wasn't hallucinating. Truly bogles my mind and a story I will be telling for years, was a hidden camera prank TV show being filmed Friday night?

We were from out of town. So, we were getting all kinds of wonderful food to take back home. Well, after we had went into Hollywood Donuts across the street we went in here to get some other pastries and conoli. Well, the man in there working would not even wait on us! He was extremely rude and he walked right passed us when we were waiting behind a man at the register. He wouldn't even look at us. I do not know if he was a worker or the owner. I will never step foot back in there again mu h less give them my money. I rated food at a 1 because we didnt get to taste it because we were never ask. I even said excuse me and he turned is back to me. So, if you like rudeness this is the place to go. But, I would highly suggest visiting Hollywood Donuts! Pastries were wonderful and owner and staff amazing and made us feel right at home.

What a disappointment! 2 small cups of gelato $18 - Whiskey Sugar and Nutella. WARNING the Nutella looks beautiful and delicious in the case. However, I didn’t get not one hazelnut or any of the drizzled Nutella as shown on the display. Over priced, just ok - should have gone to the always trusted Kilwans. I don’t recommend this place for gelato :(

Feeling like having a coffee after dinner, I stopped here and ordered two cookies (pastries) and a cappuccino. What a rip-off—$16! Each cookie was $4.15 plus tax. What a waste of money. They taste like any other pastry, but the price is ridiculous. If you want to feel assaulted, you now know where to go!
