Man this is my GO-TO place for a great full meal for my budget. I work in the area and there are so many options to choose from to eat but this is the place I come. There is t anything I haven’t tried and everything is delicious. They now have these new burritos and the picture makes them look small but they are NOT, loaded to the max reminding me of that hole in the wall Mexican burrito restaurant from where I grew up. Never have any problems, never have to wait, and I’m always full lol.

The staff here is wonderful! I was last minute getting dinner a few days ago and as I pulled up to pick up my food, their credit card machine went down. Instead of just telling me they couldn’t help me, they comped my meal. Having a hungry family anxiously waiting for food, it was so nice that I didn’t have to go looking for another place to get food. I’m addition, we all love their food, including our little ones!

First of all, my family LOVES the chicken here! Always so moist and flavorful, and me and my mom love us some chicken bowls. Second of all, customer service here is the best-I couldn't ask for better. Tonight I got someone else's order (due to the driver's error, not the restaurant) but when I called, Nathan and his team were lightning fast to remedy it! They made it beyond right, and everyone is contentedly munching on their tasty meals as I write.

Not very expensive, lots of flavor and for sure a bit of spiciness if that’s your cup of tea. Got the original pollo bowl. Very decently sized portion for under $7. Delicious!

Manager Katie was super friendly and helpful, meals came out fast, and the store is spotless!

Best experience ever! Although we had came very late (at 8:30 pm), the workers treated us like family and the atmosphere was homey and friendly. The food was astronomical. Delicious and authentic. I haven’t had Pollo Loco in about 3 years, so it brought a tear to my eye. I cannot say it enough how well we were treated and how much we enjoyed our visit. Thank you!!

Recently started going back to El Pollo Loco. I shrugged it off a couple years back due to it's lack of taste and quality. BUT NOW, YOU GOTTA COME HERE; for awesome and fast food. A bit more on the healthier side of course. Salsas are delicious and the chicken is wonderful. Whatever it is that you changed keep changing for the better, we see and appreciate your improvement!

I came in to El Pollo Loco today, and had a great experience with service. I ordered in the front for lunch and was treated with a friendly face. The cashiers name was Reed, and he made the experience exceptional. The food was below okay- it was dry and not very seasoned. However, this deserves a 5 star review just due to the service I received. I had a short and wonderful conversation with the young man. It’s wonderful to see good service especially in a chain restaurant run seemingly by teenagers! It’s a refreshing change of pace. Will be returning just because of Reed.

El Pollo Loco's friendly and encouraging server helped me with Gluten-free options, a good meal at a reasonable price. The location is on the east side of Presidio Crossing away from the heavy traffic, making it an easier location for parking, too. Moist and delicious Tacos al Carbon on fresh corn tortillas with cilantro is perfect after a very hot day. I have enjoyed the salads with a careful look at ingredients, made to my needs. They have a nutritional chart at the register to check for 9 different allergens and were quick to change gloves to make my order. Lots of good sides options, including broccoli! It is the place to go on a busy shopping day for a quick and tasty meal!

This is a very good restaurant. I love the chicken. I’m never seen anyone make grilled chicken away they do. The person in charge manager, Mr. Danyel keeps everything in order the way it should be. He is very professional, great supervisor, keep up the good work.

It's been years since I've been to El Pollo Loco and it was just how I remembered it tasting! Their chicken is adjust off the chart!! Just the right seasonings and so very tender and moist. Their borracho beans were spot on! Staff was very courteous and attentive. Restaurant is very clean. My only sorrow is the closest store is still 2 hours away from where I live. A store in the Texoma area would be very welcomed! :)

I Almost never take the time to write a review for a restaurant or for a business. But there is some occasion that requires to do it. Pollo Loco is being one of my favorite place to get a chicken because I’m a chicken person lol. I love chicken, but this is my first store that I visited and has very clean store and very fresh food. And the plus are the employees with the smile with the happiness. For me as a businessman, this mean that they have a good leader because they’re happy employees working with very nice smile definitely I’m gonna return to this location. I love them I wanna say thank you to the kitchen crew and cashier as well they made my day. Thank you ❤️

The employee was very patient with us deciding what we wanted to eat and helped me get exactly what I wanted other than lime because they were out of stock.🍋‍🟩 Tacos Al Carbon were amazing and exactly what I was craving especially after asking for the shredded chicken on them instead! I had quite a pleasant experience at El Pollo Loco. It was my wife's and my first time and we were greeted when we came in. We were not familiar with the menu. A worker gave us well detailed summary of the menu. The food tasted just as good as it looked from my eyes. The price also complemented the food. I recommend this fine establishment.

The food here is normally pretty good with hardy portions. However, this time was skimpy and dry. I really enjoy the healthy choice they offer and the coupons sent in the mail. This is what encourages me to stop by here. I don't think this location is going to be my best choice for Pollo Loco, but I do enjoy the selection of choices on every entree. Keep up the good work$!!

Staff appeared friendly and somewhat helpful. I like the notification device they hand you (let you know when your order is ready) - though when mine went off, they said it would still be a few minutes; thats ok. The tables and floor needed to cleaned. It does have a warming atmosphere. The food is very good! I tried the "fajita chicken burrito". Great flavor and filling. The chips with guacamole sauce is very tasty too. Only thing keeping it from a 5 star, is the cleanliness. I recommend this establishment, and I will return!

I had the chicken meal with the breast and a wing plus rice and beans. Everything tasted good, but the breast and wing were very tiny. Considering the price paid, I would have thought the chicken would be bigger than this. There was seriously about 3 bites of chicken on the breast and the wing had maybe 1 all together. It tasted fine, little dry. Just not nearly enough of it. Is that normal? The rice and beans were pretty good though

First time checking out an El Pollo Loco. Staff could have been more attentive but they were by no means rude. The tostada bowl with chicken breast and poblano sauce was tasty.

The food was ok, it was very filling the portions are good size. The wait staff was friendly and fast.

I’m not sure of the manager’s name, but I do believe it’s Hector or Hermano. I have to say, he has the absolute BEST PERSONALITY, and CUSTOMER SERVICE you could experience‼️He always makes sure to give you fresh, hot food, and he can definitely make the BEST SWEET TEA you ever had. When he’s not there, I unfortunately have to say the food can be a ‘hit or miss’, but when he’s there, you’re guaranteed to have the best experience and food ever! Continuing on, I do think the establishment could use an upgrade, especially on ‘lobby cleanliness’. Sometimes younger workers (not all), skip steps when it comes to truly cleaning the lobby areas, and some days it shows when you go inside to order and eat. All in all, I do recommend this location for some of the best chicken, sweet tea, and avocado sauce ever!

We have been here two times. The first time was great. Excellent, fast service, great food. We had chicken tacos and mashed potatoes. Clean dining area. The second visit was an unpleasant disaster. Apparently, there was a dinner rush prior to our arrival. All but one person was in the back taking a break. The girl at the counter was nice and helpful. Once we ordered, our experience went downhill. We waited 15 minutes for our food. Nobody else was waiting on an order. There were no small drink lids. We had to ask at the counter for them. All of the tables were dirty. We had to get someone to come clean a table for us. Then it was too wet. We had to get napkins to dry it off so we could sit down. The floor had trash all over it. The trash receptacles were overflowing. The chicken in our tacos was cold. We brought it back for hot chicken. That took another 15 minutes. With nobody else ordering ahead of us, it took 30 minutes to get a hot meal and a clean place to eat. I love the food. I have a sensitive stomach, and El Pollo Loco is one of the very few fast food places that doesn't leave me ill. I'll be back for that reason. Hopefully, this one negative experience will be a one-time thing.

A nice chicken joint, i like this one especially as it has nice keto and paleo friendly meals for people on keto diet or have some restrictions. Their website describes the meals well. We ordered a double mango fit bowl and 2pc chicken meal and were happy. There is a salsa bar on side and you can like whatever you like. I would go again to try other options too. Service was pretty fast too.

Sadly, the food quality at this location is not consistent. It’s an expensive gamble. $45 worth of food might be fresh juicy chicken or dry and hard. We were so exited to have an El Pollo Loco so close, as we used to eat there all the time when visiting relatives out of state. But this particular store has quality control issues. At least 50% of the times we’ve eaten there, the chicken on the tacos al carbon and chicken in the salad bowl was extremely dry- literally hard dark edges. UPDATE: the last 2 weeks (July 2023) we purchased large quantities of tacos for their taco Tuesday special and all of the tacos were delicious both times.

Pollo Loco offers a variety of dishes from chicken meals to burritos and tacos to bowls. All are pretty good, but some what pricey for what you get. I've seen some pieces of chicken here that we so small they look like they came from pigeons. That combined with the inflated price means Pollo Loco is only a place I way when someone else wants it.

Food wasn't fresh. Some of the rice was very crunch and the chicken was dry. I ordered via drive through around 645PM. You'd expect it to be fresh.

The food was good not great, as the chicken didn't have much flavor. The rice and corn were good so that's a plus. The restaurant wasn't clean when we went as many of the tables were dirty with food crumbs. The people at the front though were very nice and quick to get whatever we needed. Restroom was flooded, literally... First impressions go a long way and sadly this place failed for us. Don't think I would recommend with the issues we ran into!

I love this chain, unfortunately, this location is extremely slow and understaffed. While orders are backing up, employees have no urgency. Maybe it was just a bad day.

Meh.....one thing's for certain, the chickens they cooked had zero chance of flying with those tiny wings. Must've been the chickens that didn't make the cut for Wing Stop.

Meat was delicious so were the sides. Ordered thru door dash and didn’t give any salsa for chips that were provided. Received everything though and it was hot.

All of these stores seem to be very location specific when it comes to quality. This branch is aggressively mediocre. I've had some El Pollo that was absolute fire and this place was just average with the same above average prices. Chicken was good but the portions offered were very small. My burrito was full of just about everything but chicken. I was not stoked and won't be returning to this location again.

The lettuce in the salads was mildewed and the dressing was not on the salad as requested but there was no dressing at all!. I won't be back. Pollo Regio is much better.

1st time. Was looking for nachos. The prices don't match the online menu which was odd. I still ordered . Chicken nachos were decent but a little much for a smaller sized bowl so some of the chips were soggy due to how heavy it was on top. Also ordered the 3pc combo, chicken was ok but the skin was over cooked. The corn is good, rice was ok, service was not. I dont really understand the tortilla & chips on the side with the combo thing. The lady wasn't pleasant on the prompter but did address me politely at the window. The salsa's are bland

We needed a gift card, but they couldn't load any credit to it, so we didn't get one. The tamale was given to us just like this picture shows: in crumbles. The pozole and corn chips were good. Macaroni and cheese taco was ok, as were the mashed potatoes and gravy.

Half of my chicken was burned,they only give you 2 Tortillas and they are not bad but if you eat Tortillas order extra, Mac and cheese is really good,charro beans aren't charro beans they are just beans and nothing else, the rice is very good and the avocado salsa is super good I think that was my favorite out of everything, service was good, they have a very complicated menu but the value of the food is good..

Dirty.. Windows have never been cleaned. Floors are dirty. Took 15 minutes to get our food. Not a pleasant dining experience with all the banging noises and the staff yelling and playing. Instead of that maybe they should clean? Manager is nowhere to be seen. Will not come back.

Slow, unmotivated staff. Rude cashier. No sense of urgency when dealing with dine-in customers. We waited 15 mins for our food. No apology nor acknowledgment of the wait by the manager on duty. The lobby had multiple tables that needed to be cleaned, yet no one came out to clean them. Won't be back.

I ordered a salad using the drive-through lane. A somewhat large cardboard box was in the middle of the drive-through lane. The cashier who accepted my payment did not have the common sense or presence of mind to place salad dressing or a fork in my bag. The food was mediocre.

Love El Pollo Loco; however, this one is terribly understaffed every time we come in. Rarely see more than two people working even during lunch.. The last time we wete there we couldn't get waited on after 15 min. so had to leave.

They closed the dining room but left the open signs on. No note. Just didn't unlock the door. The drive-thru was clearly open and busy. It looked like they had one employee running everything. They should hire more people and pay them fairly so they don't call out. We drove 30 minutes to eat here, we weren't going to eat in the car. What a disappointment. We've eaten here many times since they opened. The food is great when it's correct. I guess I won't waste my time coming back this seems to be a recurring issue with them.

I went to pick up my order today and i was short 3 pieces of chicken And I ordered nacho chips and Salsa and they didn’t put any Salsa in the bag. I called them like 10 times on this Saturday march 7 2026 and never answered the phone.

Food was delicious however we had to wait a while before we had our order taken Half the tables were actually dirty and there was one of the staff members on break listening to reels on max volume. Horrible experience but food was good and hot.

I’ve been going to this location since I moved to TX. Every order is usually on point and everything we request is in the bag. However, this evening we were a little disappointed with our order. We ordered a 12 piece with 3 large sides. The chicken was correct as were 2 out of 3 sides. The large side of coleslaw was rotten and sour. It tasted expired. We asked for some lime on the side that never made it in the bag and all the Avocado Salsa cups were not even filled up half way. They were practically empty. I am very disappointed and hope this will not occur again in the future.

In a city with so many Mexican cuisine options, this franchise has the worst food ever. Grilled chicken is without seasoning, tacos are bland and sides are mediocre. I usually give every restaurant a couple of chances but this does not deserve a chance. One star only because everything was served hot and the service was nice.

THEY BRIBE FOR 5 STAR REVIEWS!!! Sign by door says free churros for 5 star reviews. Food is mediocre at best. Chicken not as good as Kroger rotisserie. Sides are decent but comparable to school cafeteria. Only great thing we had were churros.

Recipe must have changed for their food. The chicken, macaroni and the poblano quesadilla were all very bland. The green salsa was green water. Not salsa. I have loved EPL since forever, but this was awful. My kids love EPL and just finished bc I wouldn't let them waste their food. So sad.

This was our first time visiting and ordering from this location, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. We spent 15 minutes waiting in the drive-thru before anyone took our order. During that time, we repeatedly heard, “Give us a minute” and “Sir, please wait a moment,”

Updated review: This El Pollo Loco can forget about it! Lashunda's customer service was so bad it was ridiculous. She made sure I knew she had an attitude after SHE messed up my order. Then, when she "fixed" it, it still wasn't right. I'll be doing a charge back on my card, and I'll visit a different location from now on. Old review: Awesome service and fresh tasty food. I'll definitely be back. Juan took my order and helped me with the menu. I will definitely be back.

2:00 on a Sunday. Food was delayed they didn't seem to understand how to tell somebody exactly how long it was going to take. Because first it was 10 minutes we waited 20 and then we were told they were still going to be another 5 minutes. The place was dead there was no one there but us. And then it took the girl at least 10 minutes to figure out how to refund my meal. My wife went next door and ordered food and it was ready before I got my refund. That's f****** painful.

This is unfortunate and I hate to be that guy, but the service has been on a steady decline. Nothing but teenagers working the window and with that the bar is set exceptionally low. Ordered $33 of food for the family and got one bag and a small drink. So the list of overlooked items were: No large chips and queso No large chips and guacamole Small drink instead of large No mashed potatoes with my daughters meal And the BRC burrito which stands for beans, rice, and cheese, was just rice rolled into a tortilla with no beans or cheese. Very interesting considering I’ve never seen a rice burrito before. Like I said, tough spot to be in, but when you look at a screen and see a large order, how can you kick out the order that’s missing so much or screwed up so badly and keep a straight face.

We Love Pollo Loco and have loved since we lived in CA. Unfortunately horrible experience from manager and corporate customer service at this location in Alliance. Very poor service, after spending over 100.00 (way too expensive for a meal) I got home and was missing two items. I tried calling the restaurant for 30 minutes until they finally answered the phone! The manager said he could not refund me the money on the missing items. Granted, it was only 8.00 but the principle of paying for food and not receiving is not acceptable. The Manager said only the district manager could help me and I asked to have her call me. 2 days later no call. I called back again after three attempts the manager finally answered and said maybe tomorrow she would call me. Terrible service not to empower the manager to give refunds for food that was paid for and not given. Now I'm trying to get in touch with corporate headquarters! I spoke twice with customer service and all they have said since 18 days ago was someone will be in touch with me! Can you imagine how embarks will be for this team to get a call after I write the CEO to share my disappointment with Apollo Loco stealing my money!

FOLLOW-UP - I contacted corporate HQ and never heard back. They don't seem to care if you have a bad experience. DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY! They will NOT take accountability when they mess up your order. We had a missing item , and when I called the asst. mgr, he refused to refund the cost of the missing item with the excuse that “We can’t refund via the app.” Thus, when they mess up your order, you are out of luck - they’ve got your money but you don’t have your item - some might call that stealing. He only offered to give me the item “on your next visit.” Why would I ever go back to a location that screwed up my order? Why should the Customer drive to the restaurant to get what should’ve been DELIVERED? They need to implement a COMMON SENSE policy that every delivery order must be PERSONALLY EXAMINED by the manager-on-duty to ensure that what’s in the bag matches the receipt. And if there’s a mess-up, the manager-on-duty will PERSONALLY DELIVER the missing item. If personal inspection of every delivery order is performed every time, the manager won’t ever need to personally deliver any missing items. Until and unless they implement such a policy, ORDER AT YOUR OWN RISK! I SUGGEST - DON’T DO IT!

Went thru drive thru 29Feb 730pm. Nothing ready, just ordered 4 piece meal and 2 Baja tacos. They had me drive around to wait in the front of the store. Waited 15-20min. Total 30 min and order was wrong. Wrong pieces of chicken, gave me a dry breast (I think) and wing that didn't even have meat on it. And 2 of the tiniest drumsticks I've ever seen, they looked like chicken wings! The side "salad" is a tiny bowl of lettuce, nothing on it! The Baja tacos were slimy and messy. The chicken was dry, old, and not worth it, besides being the wrong pieces I ordered. I went back into the store and they had to give me extra pieces. Horrible wait, taste, presentation, etc. Would rather go to Slim Chickens, Chicken Express, or even KFC! SKIP THIS PLACE!

Horrible. My wife stopped on way home to pick up lunch at 2.30pm on Sunday afternoon. 50 dollar meal.When she got home the chicken looked like it was yesterday's leftover. Burnt, and very dried out. You could not tell me they didn't notice how bad this was when the put in the box. I wanted to throw up after the first bite.

Love the food but interior was disgusting. Salsa bar was a complete mess, no salsa cups, tables were dirty and trash on the floor by the salsa bar. I literally had to grab a rag and wipe down my own table. There was maybe like 10 people inside so they weren't that busy.

Walked in at 8:30pm to order chicken. First they said the wait would be 30 minutes. I said that’s fine, I can wait. After 20 minutes into waiting, they come out and said they will not be cooking anymore chicken since they close at 10pm. Yet it was only 9pm. They were just too lazy to cook more chicken.

I ordered through the drive through on 4/6/2025 at 5:50 PM. The girl had a lousy atitude as we ordered and uttered smart ass comments. We pull up to the window and we said "hello" and she did not say a word. She didn't even acknowledge us even after we said "have a good day". Save your time and money and go to Pollo Campero instead, they know how to treat people there.

Quite possibly the worst Pollo Loco and drive-thru I’ve been to. They got my order wrong. And they couldn’t refund my order. Then they asked me to go inside to get the refund. Really? There’s a reason why we went through the drive thru. By the way no one was wearing face masks or gloves in the kitchen.

The general manager, Jose Vasquez, is absolutely horrible. I placed an order through the drive thru. They gave me the wrong order. I filed a complaint with the information on my receipt. The GM contacted me via my personal email, which he obtained from my complaint that included the receipt info. He offered to remake the meal if I came by the store. I attempted to contact Jose several times via phone call and email to ensure that the same person who made it the first time wouldn't be there before I went (safety concern) or to see when he would be present. They never answered the phone, and he ignored every email. I finally go to the store directly. He asked for proof of email. My husband showed him the email he sent to me, including the several times I emailed him back. He then stated there was nothing he could do without a receipt. UNBELIEVABLE! The only reason he had my info was from the complaint I filed with the receipt information. All he had to do was remake a tostada salad, and that would be it, but he REFUSED. I am livid. I should have just requested a refund and been done with it.

I ordered delivery here tonight and I will never come here again. When I received my order a third of it was missing even though the bag was tightly tied closed. And in one of the bowls I did actually receive, there was a piece of plastic in it that felt like it almost broke my tooth when I bit down on it. When I tried calling the location to see if I could get this resolved, no one would answer. I called for over an hour straight with it just ringing. I know they kept hanging up the phone in person because the amount of rings before it cut off kept getting shorter. So on top of charging me money for food I never received because apparently the people who work here are either too stupid to read a check or to incompetent to count up to 3 bowls in a single bag and are also to lazy on top of that to pick up a receiver on a telephone and just give me my money back. I know that the business doesn't care about the customer but I make this review so that no one else will make the same mistake. These people will mess up your order and then hide behind the telephone so they don't have to fix it. Don't waste your time, your money, or your effort coming here. They also don't allow you to file a complaint because they conveniently leave the required information for the customer feedback off of the attached delivery receipt and order email, so there is no other form of contact other than telephone which will clearly always go unanswered.
