My family and I have been here a few times and honestly from the first visit it was a 10 out of 10. But this most recent breakfast we had definitely makes this a 20 out of 10! The owner and Chef truly took the time to make sure we had an excellent experience! Amazing customer service and dedication to customer satisfaction. If you haven’t tried it yet, don’t hesitate! Its owners and businesses like this that are truly rare these days. Food delicious, staff friendly, helpful, and attentive. Cleanliness is definitely top tier!!! Even the simplest of orders are made to impress!

Really enjoyed our first visit here. The staff were very friendly. The food was good. We had the Regular and Southwestern Eggs Benedict. They both had perfectly poached eggs and the flavors were on point. The only issue I had was mine were very hard to cut because of the bacon. Maybe smaller pieces would be easier to eat. When I was trying to cut it everything was just falling off. Really the only reason I didn't give five stars.

Home Kitchen is an amazing restaurant! I’ve been there many times with my husband and kids, and every visit has been excellent. The food is always exceptional fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The staff are friendly and make us feel very welcome. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for families. I highly recommend it and will definitely keep coming back!

Breakfast omelet was a large portion size & tasty!! The lunch sandwich (Ruben) was also a generous portion & super flavorful!! Edited: ordered take out & received amazing food & top notch service. They took into account my allergy requests & swapped ingredients to make a lovely meal. Also, cannot recommend the half order of the stuffed French toast highly enough!!! Delicious & the perfect portion.

We heard of this new breakfast/brunch place to go to “Home Kitchen” the reviews were really good, but when we tried to get in after church it was packed! So we came back the next week and a little later in the afternoon and we’re able to get in… the menu wasn’t complicated yet it wasn’t ordinary to the taste buds! (Cuban and Cranberry chicken grilled sandwiches) The servings were generously laid out on our plates with the perfect homemade golden french fries. Then I noticed something a little special about this place, I was surrounded by high school and college students that were actually smiling! Happy to take our order and very attentive until we walked out the door! We will definitely be back with family and friends! The Boucher Family

Stopped in at home. Kitchen for breakfast Sunday morning. They were busy but we were able to get right in as there were only two of us. Parking was ample as it was an open lot. Greeted at the front by the staff and seated immediately. Looked over the menu and my daughter and I decided on omelets. Waiter came and took our order. Brought coffee and got our order turned in. Very friendly young man! Our order came in probably only 5 minutes or so. Very fast. Food was all hot. Home fries were excellent. Omelette cooked perfectly and buttered toast. Coffee was kept full as well. Excellent service! One thing I really like about restaurants is when they have a heavy substantial silverware and not little thin tin foily kind. This place had very nice. Heavy silverware. Will definitely go back for breakfast. There. Only open for breakfast and lunch.

Fantastic breakfast/lunch destination. Wonderful selection with many delicious options. Breakfast potatoes are delicious! Highly recommended, gets very busy and I can see why. Had the hash and eggs & southwest Benedict soo good. Will be coming back often.

Full disclosure we went on a Sunday. Start with the bad…40 minute wait to get a table for 3, no online waitlist, 30+ minute wait to get food after we placed our orders, and it was super loud inside. Now the good…food was excellent, service was excellent other than the wait for the food. So if you are patient and can wait and are not super hungry…this place will do you just fine.

I’ve never had an apple stuffed french toast nor has that thought ever came to mind! Every dish sounded delicious will be coming back soon! My husband had the southwestern eggs Benedict, he usually doesn’t eat the tomatoes when it comes with it. Now this dish he devoured it and scraped the plate. The owner was welcoming and I over heard him have an encounter with his employee making sure that she was okay or asked if she needed any assistance! This place is beyond superb!

By far the best breakfast place I’ve dined in. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh ingredients, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Each dish tasted thoughtfully prepared, and the portions were just right. My favorite was the Croissant French toast, which I would highly recommend. Service was attentive without being intrusive; our server checked in at the right times and made great recommendations. Everything came out quickly and at the perfect temperature. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations in every way. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends and family!

Went here for the first time for brunch. The restaurant is bright and open. No waiting-seated right away. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was good but didn’t receive it as order. Two of our four orders were wrong. Veggie omelette, avocado toast and stuffed blueberry French toast was good. I wouldn’t recommend the breakfast sandwich with sausage or I should say barely any sausage-see photo for you to decide.

Food was mid. We ordered a raspberry filled French toast with bananas, apple filled french toast, a breakfast sandwich, and chorizo breakfast tacos. Plus, hot green tea and apple juice for beverages. I added hot sauce for more flavor to my taco cause it was a little bland. The French toast was dry and stiff on the outside, but sweet and delicious once bit into. The sandwich was also dry. Beverages were fine. Wasn’t worth the price tag for me. The service and atmosphere were great though!

I live a few miles away and tried to visit this place but every time we tried, there was a long line.. finally had the chance to visit during the week.. Still packed, still busy, but no wait.. we were seated right away.. Food was great.. next time we will ask for extra crispy potatoes right off the bat, because we ended up asking our waitress to send it back to cook our potatoes extra crispy.. no worries there.. Only complaint is that there was a bit of language barrier.. being our first time, we had questions for our waitress and it was somewhat difficult to communicate but we all managed.. we tried their apple stuffed French Toast and we initially asked how many a plate came with, our waitress said 3, however we only got 2.. also, the skillet stated with green bell peppers and onions.. there were a little bit.. chopped super small, could barely tell what they were.. Everyone was pleasant and friendly though.. that's always a plus! Will definitely be back in the future..

Overall a fun dining experience. Creative menu and we both tried local twists on classics - apple stuffed French toast and a Texas style eggs Benedict. Fun to try, but I think we’ll stick to the normal style breakfast choices in the future at this spot. French toast wasn’t cooked fully and the eggs Benedict just wasn’t my jam, BUT the staff was excellent and the coffee was strong and tasty! Corned beef and hash was top 10 though!!

Very cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and fast service. But The food has a very good presentation but wasn’t flavorful. I had to add a lot of hot sauce, salt and pepper to get some flavor out of it. Overall, good experience🤙🏼

came in for a quick bite. table for 2, seated immediately at 9 am. I had the avacado melt which we delicious, just the right amount of each ingredient, I took off the top bread to make it "open face" and help save room for a pancake ! the sandwhich was served with "home fries" which is thier breakfast potatoes and while they are good- they seem like more of a dinner potato - i'm a hashbrown and breakfast potato fan and these are quite disappointing everytime. -1 star for the potatoes . my spouse got a croissant breakfast sandwhich which isn't on the dine in menu, but it is online. server was great and accommodating. food came out quickly and we were in and out in under an hour.

I wanted to try a new place for brunch and Home Kitchen looked good and had good reviews. I made a reservations, and received an email confirmation. We showed up at the time of the reservation and there was no reservation on the books. I showed the hostess's the email confirmation and was told that 'they cannot control what the manager does'. We were seated quickly but it was not okay that my reservation could not be found and then the manager was blamed for it. We ordered our food, Monte Cristo sandwich and eggs benedict, the waitress was very good and we received our food piping hot. Overall the food was okay but not great. The Monte Cristo was bland and there was not enough Russian dressing for the entire sandwich. The sweet potato fries were very good but a dipping sauce (besides ketchup) would have made the fries even better. The Eggs Benedict was also just okay. One egg was overcooked and the other was under cooked, the hollandaise sauce was sweet and there was too much of it. The wait staff was attentive and nice, the food was reasonable priced but it lacked in flavor and some was not cooked properly. We will probably not return since there are so many other (better) options around Austin.
