The food wad very good, the chips were light and crisp, and they served the runny beans with them and salsa, i enjoyed that, good flavors! I had Chicken Enchiladas Suizas, it was really good!! 👍👍👍
Very nice place to eat and Food is Delicious 😋 Definitely will be back 👌
All 3 of us were very impressed with the food. My tostada was I think the best one I've ever had!
One of the best kept secrets in watsonville Great food, drink awesome. Chabella Are one of the? best in town?
Friendly staff always ready make your visit a memorable stay. Food is great and those Chavelas are delicious.
Their beans and rice give me life. Got us through some hard parts of 2020. Thank you for staying open and making amazing food.
This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Watsonville. It feels authentic and the food is so delish especially the roasted jalapeno pepper appetizer so good!
Good food, would eat here again. Good service and outside seating available. Only down side is that the kid menu is fairly expensive for what it is. $9-10 kids meal with $3 drinks. Adds up fast! Recommend for a date night, leave the kids home!
This place is OUTSTANDING. Our new favorite Mexican restaurant. The tacos and burritos are fantastic, the fajitas and seafood are delicious. The asada is super tasty. Pretty much everything we've tried here is really delicious, very fresh, and really nicely prepared. Also really unique tasty salsa, and super service. Haven't tried the drinks yet, but they look great and seem popular. Love this place.
My fajitas were delicious. Service was prompt and courteous. The music (unlike some places in this area) was at a volume where I could still have a conversation. All around great experience!
A small place that may be hard to notice, but worth it! Some of the best Mexican food and service anywhere. Pretty much just two people cheerfully held down the fort through the entire dinner rush. OMG, they give you refried beans with the complementary tortilla chips!!! The marinades were outstanding. We had chili verde, chicken fajitas, and carne asada. Each was perfect and delicious. We also got chicken nachos. I'm not a fan of cheese sauce on nachos, but my wife and kids LOVE it. To each his own, I guess.
So delicious and the best customer service. It's pretty expensive, at least for my huge family it is. But, it is so worth it. The food is so great, the atmosphere is fun and everyone who works there are awesome.
Today I ordered a Super Chabelas con Ceviche(take-out),Horchata which is refreshing & a side of their yummy refried beans. The hostess was extremely friendly...
Seafood cocktail and chile relleno get the highest compliments from my mother and from my wife. The food’s excellent!
My husband and I came here for the first time tonight and the food was delicious. I got chicken enchiladas rice and beans and my husband got a chicken salad. Very good we will definitely be coming back
Always GREAT FOOD!! Love their Agua Chile and Guacamole is really fresh. Customer service is on point and our favorite Mexican Restaurant in Watsonville!
🍹Tonight we pretended we were at a resort in Cabo for Spring Break 🤣😂 The great thing is we can still enjoy AMAZING seafood and cocktails and hit the beach without the expensive flight ;) #santacruzliving If you haven’t been to @elmichoacanowatsonville you need to take a break from reality and go with an empty stomach, because you will need a nap later 🤤 lol 🍹🦪🥒🥑🍍🍤🌮🐟🦀
Good place to eat. Chill environment the food was great. My wife got the 3 meat fajita (asada, chicken and shrimp) I tried it and it was delicious side note on the shrimp (I know a lot of Mexican restaurant don't clean their shrimp here they DO here) my wife said they were nice and juicy. My self I got the Wet Chile verde burrito it was delicious and the meat was nice and soft. But before I took a bite at the burrito I tried the rice and beans and I told my wife if the rice n beans were that good e rest of the food has to be good as well. Sorry about the picture, I should have taken the picture before I dig in. Thanks great service I'm coming back
Holy cow, I was not expecting to eat this amazing food today. The amount of authenticity in this plate is incredible. This hidden gem is located in a strip mall in Watsonville, and it is worth any drive you have to make to get here.
Great place with so many fun drinks and delicious food. The mariachi music however was so loud I couldn’t hear my partner from across the table.
I am never disappointed when I come here. The food and drinks are out of this world.
They have a great menu. Unique drinks. The Chabela Mangonaeda is my favorite. The patio is a nice touch. I live in Salinas drive back here again. BIG THANKS!
I ordered the Carne asada el michoacano which was so flavourful. And my husband ordered the caldo de Cam'ron which was filled with plenty of shrimp. Very delicious

El Michoacano is a true gem! We visited last Friday and were blown away by the authenticity. The chicken fajitas were sizzling, with perfectly tender meat and charred veggies, and the corn tortillas were fresh and delicious. Our server, Jackie was friendly and attentive, and we even got to chat with the owner who was so welcoming. The atmosphere is lively but cozy. We're already planning our next visit to try their brunch on the weekend.
Loved the fried fish plate and my wife really enjoyed her chicken fajitas. They are dog friendly on their patio which is enclosed and heaters available. Will return on our next trip to Watsonville.
Best nachos with carnitas I've ever had nice and light and the meat was chrispy. Had lunch with the fam for less than 50 bucks which rarely happens these days with drinks! Coming back for sure
Loud music and amazing party vibes. Food is spicy and yum. Came for a quick meal for our drive back to the Bay and were surprised by the scrumptious meal. Enjoyed the vegetarian tacos and tostados combo meals. And also experienced a birthday celebration. It was loud and cheerful. They had smoke machines, loud music, sparkles and fried ice cream dessert and the servers did two rounds and whistled while singing Happy Birthday. It was exciting to watch. Super clean restrooms.
Shootout to Chefs Isaac & Francisco for making delicious food made with quality produce. The waitresses Jackie and Nickole are always super sweet and attentive. I've been coming here for years and I always leave satisfied 😌.

Good prices, really friendly waitstaff. Tasty food. Only reason I gave it a 4 was coz the cocktail mixto I ordered tasted a *little fishy, and not fresh.
This is one of my go to places. It's down the street from work and pretty fast for lunch. I got the taco Michicano with carne asada. I didnt know what to expect so I ordered 2. It was really good. A quesadilla folded and stuffed. One was plenty for lunch. I ate both and like the taco I was stuffed.
I love the chilli Verde. And you get warm bean dip and salsa with your chips as a starter. Worth the price.
Good shrimp, many kinds of shrimp coctails. Very inexpensive, good refried beans, guacamole, and we like the servers.
I've only ordered the shrimp burritos, but I'm a return customer because they are so savory! I'd give 5 stars but they only offer refried beans. I prefer black or red whole beans. Large servings. Tasty chips. Would prefer no food coloring.
The beans are the best. Fresh tortillas. Giant portions

Well the experience there was not bad my fried chicken rice and beans french fries corn tortillas was excellent the person I was with at a sofa said it was terrible sopa sopa
Young waitress really tried her best to give good customer service. I ordered a 7 mares (like a cioppino) but it was not what I expected from a 7 mares. It was too salty, some of the vegetables were undercooked and I had to fish for the seafood in the soup. The taste was not that of a typical 7 mares. Was disappointed.
Overpriced and all the food I've ordered has not been good. I do like their chip salsa. I would only recommend their mixed drinks they give you a good buzz and they serve you more than in other places.
Sign says "authentic " Mexican food. This was not my experience there. The food wasn't bad by any means, it was delicious.
Expensive for the quality of food. Chavela was decorated well but very plain tasting. Salsa was the best thing. I had Carne asada nachos. Meat was very good, but very small amount of meat for $16 nachos. My wife had shrimp enchiladas and she said they were just ok.
Came in with a group of people. We were seated right away. Waitress took our drink order and brought them out fairly quick. We then had to wait almost an hour for our food order to be taken, just to be taken. After the food was delivered she did not check on us until she brought us the check. The food and drinks are ok. Slow service and high prices, that's what you'll get here. For certain dishes i understand the price, but for others? No. First time here and i was not impressed, but I may come back to give them another chance.

This restaurant came up on my Instagram. Their PR sure knows how to take pictures because we drove to Watsonville to try their food. This restaurant is located inside a plaza, so there is plenty of free parking. We walked in and the lady smiled at us. She didn’t approach us or say hello. There was no one inside. The restaurant was completely empty. They had the TV’s playing and the music playing too. We stood there until I came to the conclusion that we could sit anywhere. There were menus on most of the tables. Coincidentally, there wasn’t menus on the table we chose to sit at. Once we were seated, she came with menus. She didn’t say welcome or anything, just dropped them off and left. I had to tell her we were ready to order. We really liked that they had a full menu for kids and not just chicken nuggets with fries. I watched as they cooked the food. It made me excited. The presentation of the food is great. However, the beans were below average. The rice looked stiff and it was dry. The fajitas didn’t have flavor. 3 stars for the fajitas. 1 star for the sushi. It tasted as though they had dipped the entire roll in the oil. The entire roll was so deep fried. As a sushi enthusiast, this was one of the worst sushi rolls. To top it off, it was $22. How deeply disappointed I was with the Enchiladas. I immediately noticed they were flat. When I looked inside, they were filled with cheese :( I couldn’t even finish them because there was already enough cheese melted on top with sour cream. It was cheese overload. I am not sure if they offer chicken, but the server didn’t ask what kind I wanted, or even check in on us once she brought out the food. On instagram, they promote their alcoholic drinks so that may be their specialty because our food was definitely not delicious. Definitely not worth $89.59. Improve the customer service, welcome us in, check in on us. The TV and the music are both playing so it’s hard to hear. When it comes to food, add flavor, add Sazon.

Walked in by myself I got a vibe from the servers that they probably wouldn't get a big tip from me since I'm by myself . Wich leads to bad service. Ordered a drink and food. Food never showed up, waited for over an hour. There was people coming in after me that got served first. Wich confirms to me that since I was alone servers wouldn't entertain me because they would get a big tip. Little so they know I would have giving them there biggest tip. So service was terrible and will never step into this place again. Also the chabela was very water down didn't taste good at all. Probably the worst chabela I've had. It's a shame because the atmosphere is cool but servers look unhappy wich speaks to bad ownership.
Not only did they mess up my order after I literally pointed at the item in the menu; but the food was also very mediocre. The meat was chewy and the entire burrito was gushing wet and fell apart when I tried to pick it up.

The food is not what you expected, like you order something but get disappointed by the food that you received and is expensive more then other restaurants.
The service of this restaurant is good but the food tasted horrible, the beans, rice and steak was too greasy and salty compared to other restaurants. Also margaritas taste like water instead of tequila with mix, and the booth I was sitting on was broken 👎👎👎👎👎👎 not going back ever.
Was there for 30 min waiting never got my drink or someone to take my order so unprofessional so i just left. Been to other ones great service this one in Watsonville 👎
The place was unsanitary. The cashiers/waitresses would use their hands without gloves to garnish drink and take payments at the sametime, they would whipping down tables and then go back to the drinks without washing their hands. Everything had my stomach twisting I wondered how the kitchen staff would be preparing my food. This was hard pass. never again will I be eating there. Now for the food tasteless no flavor and how they were presented was sticky and not pleasant to look.
