This has been one of my go to food places in Santa Clara county. The food refreshes you and give a wonderful taste of south Asia. The sweets look creative and experimental. Its spacious so you can have your family walk in and spend great time there. The staffs are welcoming and pretty friendly.

Great healthy Vegeterian food involving multiple cuisines, and with Gujarati specialties in particular. Sizzlers are extra ordinary and unique. Staff is courteous and friendly and food is value for money. Our office folks love their Milan Samosas for catering besides other things.

Excellent Gujrati food. Their undeo and sweets are the best. Most popular is samosa sizzler with pasta Milan Restaurant has been a favorite of mine in Milpitas for over a decade, and it's a consistently great experience! What keeps me coming back is definitely their fantastic thaali. The variety of dishes you get is wonderful, offering a little taste of everything, and the fact that they include tandoori roti in the thaali option is a huge plus for me. Beyond the delicious food, Milan also boasts plenty of seating, so it's rarely a hassle to find a table, even during busy times. Parking is also never an issue, which makes it a convenient spot to visit. If you're looking for a reliable Indian restaurant in Milpitas with a satisfying and varied menu, ample space, and easy parking, I highly recommend giving Milan a try!

The samosa sizzler defies every culinary law, and my own personal perspectives on food. There is no absolute way that the combination of samosa and pasta should work. But GODDAMIT!!! It tastes so amazing, and delicious and good. I was so reluctant to even try it. I swore that it would taste disgusting… but NOOOOO IT TASTES ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. It’s delightfully pleasant and scrumptious. The jalebi was so good and delicious. The dhokla was very fresh, and didn’t taste too sweet. This entire post is dedicated to the impossibly amazing tasting samosa sizzler. It was so good, I wanted to meet the one who put it on the menu, but they weren’t available, and I met the sous chef (in other terms). They were very sweet and were extremely pleased to hear my appreciation for their famous dish. It has been on their menu for over 20 years, and it works! If you are around in this area, this is definitely a restaurant you NEED to visit.

Chats and sweets options are great. We had ordered Kebab Sizzlers, Dahi papdi chaat, jain kachori, jain samosas, chai and rasmalai. Kebab in kebab sizzlers were less in quantity when compared to the pasta quantity. But the taste is amazing. Dahi papdi chat was okaish. Jain kachori was very dry within. Jain samosa was very good, so was chai. Rasmalai wasn’t tasty. Would recommend this place for sizzlers.

The only place I’ve been able to find that serves Indian sizzlers in the Bay! You get a ton of food for a good price. They have quite a few sizzler options, as well as other entrees and lots of sweets. The interior is a little bit like a cafeteria but the food makes it worthwhile!

Milan ww went recently for dine in. We ordered thali which had 5 poori ir 4 chapati, 2 veg gravy, sweet, rice. The poori was fresh. We ordered roti which was soft. If you are looking for fresh homemade north indian food, snacks, sweets , this shop is good one. Ambience wise they can improve as they have good space for dine in.

Ordered jain sizzlers paneer n samosa one.. they were good enough... Ordered samosa n chola bhatura but they were very oily, ordered fafda... Thinking that fafda will be hot but it was pre prepared one n they will serve either chutney or chilli green

A great place to get some Indian savory and sweets. We tried their dhokla and sweets. They were fresh and delicious. Their flavors are bomb with mouthwatering and authentic touch. Their service is good and a cozy dining experience

Great service with delicious food. Loved pasta kabab sizzles which we found the best. Super fast service (everything came within 10-15 minutes) - 5-6 dishes eg. sandwich, khandvi, sizzler, samosas, akbari paneer and fulka. We liked sizzler and paneer dish with fulka the most. The green chutney can be improved. Khandvi was blend so fine as far as little kids are concerned but would not recommend if you are looking for something spicy. Plates were clean. They have a self help system in which you order and pick up your own food and plates from counter.

I can’t say I like the food here. This is 100% vegetarian and you get a lot of Gujarati dishes. The things I recommend are Jalebis and namkeen snacks. Milan is the only place which serves Khandvi and Patra and it’s worth a try. They are nowhere close to what you get in India but atleast you get it here in USA! Good Coriander chutney and sweet chutney. They don’t add garlic in the chutney. Other items on the Menu that are decent White Dhokla Gobhi and Paneer Paratha. Comes with Gujarati style slightly sweet raita Chhole Batura does taste as good as it looks

Food is good but i must say that there is no customer service. I have to put my plates in a gross container which they have kept in open. Poor hygiene.I wonder how this is even allowed from hygiene pov. Sometimes they have only plastic spoons. Cheap ambience. The way they have arranged tables is that You can hear people talking so no privacy either. I wouldn't recommend dining at this place.

Did a takeout and the food tasted good. The roti and samosa was hot and nice. The price is on the higher for takeout. Overall a decent option in the neighborhood

Used to be a go to place for Indian veg food. Especially gujarati style. Fafda jalebi still same excellent quality. Sizzler taste have gradually gone down. We tried manchurian and paneer Sizzlers. Paneer still holds good, manchurian left us unsatisfied. The kick of manchurian was missing. Pav vada was good, not typical Mumbai style, still good.

The chaats are hit-or-miss, but the sweets are a definite letdown. They seemed old and lacked that fresh flavor you'd expect. You can immediately tell they aren't fresh once you taste them, not worth it.

Thali review!!! Ordered a Milan thali which comes with 2 curries, roti, rice and sweet. It looked delicious while ordering but food was pretty bland, it gave an experience of eating in an ‘Indian food mess’ I would rather prefer paying a bit more and preferring a decent buffet. Would definitely visit again to try their sizzlers and other sweets but disappointed with the Thali.

Very disappointed with rasmalai order. One can clearly tell that it was in fact rasgulla with some added milk to sell it off as rasmalai. The "milk" was mixed with sugar syrup that comes with rasgulla. Clearly visible streaks of syrup in the photo. The "malai" portion was spongy and porous which one would expect in rasgulla, and did not have paneer/khoya feel which one would want in rasmalai. Not sure if it was because of rush hour but whatever may be the reason this is not acceptable.

I went for breakfast. I had ordered Jalebi, Fafda and Nylon khaman. Everything was served cold. Fafda didn’t have the sweet chutney/curry as well. Overall a bad experience for food.

The restaurant is as good as it seems from outside. If you are disgusted by the looks of it, trust your instincts and head to a better restaurant down the street, I’m sure you’ll find better food. The taste is underwhelming and you cannot argue with them when you get 5 pieces of dhokla for $6. I won’t say im disappointed but folks you don’t want to be regretting your decision to head to this restaurant when you’re downing tasteless samosas that you could have easily fried back home.

I can’t believe I paid $13 (plus tax and tip) for just 6.8 oz of kadhi – that was literally my entire dinner. It wasn’t even enough to fill a small bowl! This is outrageous. Please don’t cheat customers on portion sizes.

Very disappointed with their manchurian sizzler. They charge for manchurian and serve you koftas in your sizzler! The sight of koftas in our sizzler put us off, and its taste didn't help either. It was once a good spot, but unfortunately, not anymore.
