I loved the service, the restaurant is well managed. Very clean & nicely put together. Every dish i try turns out to be a new favorite of mine. They are located in a hidden place but I can't say enough good things about the food, service and layout 💛
Great service complimenting the clean & fresh Mexican decor. The wet al pastor burrito with cochino style addition of onions and cilantro were excellent. The mini tacos were as delicious and flavorful as they looked. But, don't forget the awesome margaritas to complete this great culinary experience. A must try. . .
Best Mexican food in Fresno as far as I can tell. Complimentary red salsa and warm bean dip. I particularly like their breakfast specials. And the Verde Sauce is special. Friendly server. Technically, on Shaw Avenue, but it is set back off of the street near the Japanese restaurant Edo-Ya (which is also very good).
Great food and service! Claudia has mainly been my server, and shes great. Well, this last time, she left me hanging, but we all have bad days. She has always been amazing though. Food is super authentic. My in laws love it. My friends I've taken there love it, and I will continue to go back. Actually, it's almost lunch time... maybe I'll head over.
I love Mexican food but this food made me feel like I was in Michoacan, Mexico. The servers were friendly, approachable and kind. It was me and my husbands first time in Fresno, CA and the fact that we found this restaurant was just amazing. The Michelada also had this spicy Chile around the glass beer and was absolutely fantastic.
Wonderful Mexican food, you can taste how authentic the food is. The vibe is very warm and welcoming, and the chips and salsa are some of the best in town. I highly recommend coming here and enjoying their wonderful food, and can't wait to return!
Wow! I feel like it’s hard to find amazing Mexican food but this place has to be my all time favorite. Our server assisted with recommendations for both food and drinks and was honest about her own opinion and was able to give us truest amazing choice. Clean and presentation of food was fun! I ordered the mini tacos and Molcajete 10/10 and they actually had FIRE HOT salsa which is what I feel a lot of places lack, definitely returning soon.
Absolutely outstanding and authentic mexican food! The complimentary chips, salsa, and bean dip were all fresh and delicious! The pastor and grilled chicken mini tacos were full of flavor, the salsa was on point and very traditionally served. Overall is as a beautiful restaurant, with amazing customer service and DELICIOUS FOOD!!! I cannot wait to come back here and this will be my new go to "sit down" mexican restaurant for when i'm craving traditional and authentic street tacos but with a classy dining experience!
Today I tried something new. It was amazing. I think i found a new favorite here. I didnt get my servers name, but she wasnt as attentive as Claudia always is. That wont stop me from returning. My I laws ordered Chile relleno, and fajitas. They're both quite picky, and both left full and pleased. Thank you again.

We were very pleasantly surprised, having never been there before, but on a Mexican food. The place is clean as a whistle, and beautifully done in Rich, deep-toned Built-in wood booths, as well as some freestanding tables. Wonderful selection of Mexican music, which we had asked about, since it was so pleasing . (100 selections, ea hand-picked with care by the establishment.) The service was excellent and very attentive. Of course, the best part was our food; it was excellent! We were glad we had persevered, bcuz our GPS had led us on a Wild Goose Chase! It had sent us -back & forth between the SW corner & the NW corner of Marks & Shaw! - but in the end, it was worth the wait!

Food is so bomb we love eating here don’t change anything. It taste authentic to me. Our server was so sweet. Only thing I can suggest is that I know food cost are at an all time high every thing cost money but when serving the free serving of chips salsa and bean; I would say just a little more chips to even out the salsa and beans. Then you don’t have an enough chip some people can’t finish their salsa or beans or both. I try not to let mine go to waste but unfortunately didn’t finish all my salsa today I feel like eventually with every customer it adds up with waste. Just a thought. You’re guys food is so yummy. Tried the enchiladas for the first time so bomb. You guys are my favorite restaurant.

Chips and salsa were free but were over fried and tasted a bit on the burnt side. I ordered the chile verde plate. Rice was broken and not fluffy. My server was friendly and restaurant was welcoming and clean. Flavor of the rice, beans and chile verde were seasoned well. I have no idea why I got charged for the side of salsa when it should have just been for free ($2.99 for a 2oz side) and portion size of plate was a lot smaller than I expected. Not worth $29 bucks overall in my opinion though.
I wanted to absolutely love this place. I have mixed feelings about it. The location is great, service was fast and friendly. The food was the downfall. The salsa and chips were not good. They tasted out of a can. The food I ordered looked good but when I started eating it, the meat and tortilla flavor was off. The meat tasted old and gamey. The flautas were not crunchy. The salsa that came with the flautas was not good either. The horchata tasted out of a powder mix, not authentic. I don't know what it was last night but it just wasn't good. Everything else was spot on, from the beautiful decor and seating to the great staff. The food was just not authentic, it just tasted out of a can, iykyk

They are the best! Tortilla chips are homemade and oh so good. Best chicken fajitas I've ever had. Chicken was tender and moist. Vegetables had the right amount of caramelizition on them. It's not burnt, just favorable. We will definitely be coming back. Oh, the service was great. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. Update: I had the Asada Fries, and they were amazing. Huge portion more than enough for a meal. Update: 2-22-22 It was a very cold day, and the only warm beverage was coffee. I didn't coffee at night, so I opted to have the albondigas soup. I was very disappointed. Vegetables were way overcooked, and the huge meatballs were in-indible. They were hard as a rock. I had to take them out of the soup to try and cut them to size to eat. It was very hard to cut, and when I finally got a small enough piece to eat, it tasted freezer burnt and tough. Others at my table tried it also and had the same comments. When the waitress asked how everything was, I told her. Her comment back was, "We get that a lot. We grind our own beef here, and sometimes it's like that." My suggestion is that maybe it's not worth grinding it yourself. I'll never order that again. Another suggestion is maybe offer tea for cold nights. Hot water is easy, and tea bags keep forever. My husband's food tasted like it was days old and just reheated in a microwave. They were a really great restaurant but are slipping. I like giving second chances, but I'm not sure if I can convince my husband to go back.
It was okay. I can’t explain it, but half the food at the table was bland and the other half had some flavor. The breakfast burrito and serving of asada fries were small for the price. Maybe it’s just an inflation thing? Staff was nice.

The atmosphere was cozy and service was attentive but the flavor of the food was not great and the prices are high, will not be returning. I ordered menudo and the smell was unpleasant and needed seasonings, my husband and I shared a shrimp cocktail for the high price we got few shrimp. My husband ordered meat with a red sauce, beans and rice, the meat needed flavor, the rice was to mushy and tasteless. Don’t recommend this restaurant.
What could improve? That is the question of the day. Well, let me begin. The food was incredible………ly mid. If you love watered down, Caucasian Mexican cuisine, this place is just for you. I ordered the 2 item combo (enchilada & a crunchy taco). The enchilada was good, but it was very small. The crunchy taco was actually smaller than a Taco Bell one. The rice was a solid 0/10. I’m baffled because I didn’t think screwing up rice was possible. If you are a cumin fan, then this rice is just for you! Absolute overkill. The beans were fire though, not gonna lie. The service was okay. There were only 2 other people eating inside and they still never really checked on us or offered to go boxes when we were clearly done. Bill came out to $63. 2 “lunch special “ plates, 1 drink and 1 kids meal. Take your money and spend it somewhere else.

I have never been so disrespected in my life. We went to go enjoy a family meal and she placed barley a handful of chips for our large family of 7 and we asked for more and she gave us attitude and said it would be an additional charge for more chips and my mom simply said are you serious as a question and she yanked the chips and salsa off the table and told us to get out. We were in shock we were being asked to leave over asking for a few more chips. I was excited to try their food but never again will I go near this restaurant. Please don’t go here.
Tried for first time, horrible! Service was great! Food just can't explain! My 86 year old Dad after suggested we should of hone to Edo-Ya next door, he is Hispanic! Chips overcooked no salt?? Salsa was ketchup and onions? Abondigas was tomato soup with 3 meatballs. Ordered Al pastor burritos got asada and pork I think. $130 for the 5 of us. Wow..

Great service, really cute and welcoming environment BUT food 👎. We ordered, menudo, albondigas and pozole..we all had the same complaint, meat seemed to have an old-frost bit taste. We tried to like it but we had to face the truth, “not so good”😕
