Ramen was soo good and noodles so light and tasty !! Talk about the fried dumplings yummy !!!! Recommend for sure !! I got #17 if you love spicy 🌶️
What a great place!! I love the atmosphere and oh my goshhhh the food!!! Get a bite of everything!!
We had an exceptional experience in this restaurant. We’d been here for couple of times and all I can say is that the customer service is amazing. They have the best staffs! Kudos to them. They really are excellent. I was not able to get all their names for a shoutout. One of our servers, Leo, together with the other 2 servers, I was not able to get their names really took care of us, they are taking their job seriously but with friendliness and respect to their customers. My kids love eating in here too, because they said the staffs were nice. The food is good too, we love the pork tonkatsu, gyoza etc. The ramen is just okey. You can find better ramens outside. But we really are coming back because of the staffs. Great job to you guys!!!!!
This place is in a strip mall - plenty of seating. Walk in, immediately greeted by staff. Our drinks were kept full, asked right away if we knew what we wanted. We ended up ordering within 2-3 minutes of getting inside. I had the spicy pork ramen -- it was AMAZING. Super flavorful broth, generous portion, perfectly cooked noodles with tons of bean sprouts. YUM. I just went last night and might go again before heading back home!
Ramen Hakata is a fantastic spot for a satisfying meal. The food is amazing—flavorful, fresh, and served fairly quickly. The staff are accommodating and make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. It's definitely worth a visit if you're craving great ramen!
This place was not only DELICIOUS but one of a kind in inclusivity. I am a wheelchair user and typically going out to eat consists of experiences much differently than I had here. This is the first time I have truly been treated like a human since I because disabled. The employees here moved chairs for me when I came through and checked rugs to make sure I wouldn't have issues like my chair snagging on them. They helped me with getting my to-go box filled when they saw I was having dexterity issues and made sure I always had water and anything else I needed. I will be back! This is the only ramen shop in the area I will be coming to from now on
Went for a quick ramen solo date and ordered the Tonkotsu with extra chashu. Quality was great, not overwhelmingly salty, and seemed fresh. Portion was alright, but the main highlight was the overall flavor. Some ramen places feel soul-less, but you wont get that here. Ambience was good and decor authentic. Almost felt sad stepping out realizing I was still in Frisco. Only downside I noticed was the service or the excess of it. Servers were a little too attentive but its not really even a complaint.
After 24 hours on the road and way too many questionable truck stop snacks, we were craving something warm, hearty, and satisfying. When we spotted Ramen Hakata open, we didn’t think twice — we pulled in and headed straight inside. The dining room was spotless and inviting, with a fresh, well-stocked sushi bar that immediately set the tone. The menu promised authentic Japanese comfort food, and it absolutely delivered. We started with the tuna tataki — perfectly seared, melt-in-your-mouth slices with just the right balance of smoky and tangy. For mains, we ordered the garlic miso ramen with pork and a traditional tsukemen (dipping ramen) with pork. Both dishes were piping hot, packed with flavor, and layered with depth — rich broths, tender pork, and noodles cooked to perfection. Our server was also attentive and very helpful! We told him it was our first time there and he made sure to answer any questions we had. After a day of road food, this was exactly what we needed: fresh, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. Ramen Hakata is a gem — if you’re anywhere nearby, it’s absolutely worth the stop.
Ramen Hakata is easily my favorite go-to spot in Frisco. I’ve been coming here with friends, well over 20 times across the past few years, and it still never gets old. The team behind the counter clearly knows how to deliver consistently excellent food and service night after night. My go to order: (N19) Spicy Mazemen (with any choice of protein) almost every single time. The bowl is literally a perfect balance of umami-packed noodles and the tofu soaks up the flavors beautifully. It’s the kind of dish that keeps you coming back because it’s familiar but layered; every visit rewards the same craving in a reliably satisfying way. Service here is another big reason I keep returning. The staff are fast, attentive, and unfazed when we show up as a group. They take groups of 8+ with ease, which has saved many weekend plans for us. Picture of a group of 10 for proof :). Even if we’re in a rush or lingering over conversation, the servers understand and respond with the perfect pace. Seating is well arranged as well, it's flexible enough for anything from a two-person dinner to a big friend table. We’ve always been able to get seated together without awkward splitting or waiting forever. Starters at Ramen Hakata also deserve a special shout-out. Every one we’ve ordered has been thoughtful, generously portioned, and absolutely worth the price. The Takoyaki is to die for. On multiple visits we’ve shared a few starters and then immediately regretted not ordering doubles. The atmosphere is warm and energetic in a way that feels friendly rather than touristy. Bowl portions are generous, pricing feels fair for the quality, and consistency is my favorite aspect. The same great food and the same service on visit number 2, 10, or 20. If you care about consistency, group-friendly seating, and starters that actually matter (rather than being afterthoughts like some other ramen places), then Hakata checks all the boxes. In short: five stars. If you’re in the area and looking for fire noodles with dependable service and a spot that welcomes a large friend group, put Ramen Hakata at the top of your list. Highly recommended.
Tired first time Ramen, I’m extremely satisfied with the food here. I have tired couple of items here and every item is very good and excellent. Quality of the food is very good and tasteful. Mostly one entire will sufficient for one person. They have wide range of dishes with different meat options like Tofu, Chicken, Beef and Fish. I have tired Tofu Ramen and it is extremely delicious. Service time is less than 10 minutes. Got the table with no wait time and reservation is not recommended.
Stopped in here with my partner and we really enjoyed it! We shared a bowl of the Miso Garlic Ramen with a side of cucumber salad. The ramen broth was super flavorful with just the right amount of garlicky kick, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. It hit the spot for sure. The cucumber salad…. I could’ve licked the dish clean it was so yummy! The restaurant had a relaxed, casual vibe and the service was friendly and fast. Great spot if you’re craving a comforting bowl of ramen. I’d definitely come back next time I’m in the area.
We enjoyed our dining experience at Hakata. Authentic, welcoming and cozy! We enjoyed gyoza, chicken karaage and edamame for starters. For our main dishes I enjoyes their chicken Yakisoba which came out sizzling hot and very tasty and my Husband had their Hakatu Ramen. I'd visit here again and would recommend to those in the immediate Frisco area. Staff was friendly, bathrooms were also very clean. Great place for a date night or family dining.
This place is just so amazing. The SERVICE is just so pampering! I came to have dinner alone, and the server brought me a phone holder for my entertainment. My glass never got below the half-way mark. I was never rushed or felt ‘observed’ like you do in some places. My dish was aaaaamaaazing! It was too much food for me to completely finish. The price was extremely reasonable. I’m definitely coming back to try more dishes. Thanks Frisco RH!
This place was the best food we had on our trip to the Dallas-area. In a trip filled with great food! Their Shiyo ramen was amazing, they gyoza, and cucumber salad were delicious and fresh!

The service and food were excellent! Fair prices. We had the N1 pork ramen and onigiri. Sue was very sweet! We will be back.
I've been coming to Ramen Hakata for YEARS and I am still in love with it! My favorite ramen shop for date night or grabbing lunch in Frisco. Service is always friendly and prompt.

Amazing Japanese restaurant with authentic flavors! I tried the Nagasaki seafood ramen, and it was absolutely delicious. The broth was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, packed with fresh seafood that tasted high quality and well cooked. The noodles had a great texture and soaked up all the flavors beautifully. Portion size was generous, presentation was spot on, and the dish felt comforting yet refined. Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend this place if you’re a ramen lover—especially the Nagasaki seafood ramen. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Don't know what happened but the food isn't the same. The shrimp are smaller and panko bred crumbs are over fried. The curry doesn't taste like before. The edamame was also of tasting. Service …

Strangely rushed service if you are by yourself. This is the second time this has happened at this particular location. The other locations I've visited are more chill. I wanted to order so much more food but I couldn't get myself to stay long enough to even finish my ramen. Plus, the male server there does not understand the concept of personal space. He kept leaning over my shoulder a little too close to me when I placed my order and when I was paying my bill. Is this the kind of disrespect you treat your customers with? They can't wait for you to be done and get out. When you're telling them what you want they won't even listen to the whole thing and start heading their way with what they think you want. I will not be going to this location again.
Called 2 days prior to make a reservation for my daughters 16th bday. Had a party of 12 plus a baby. They said it wouldn't be a problem. We get there and brought a little cake and had other little …
I’ve been to this restaurant before and always enjoyed the food, but after my experience yesterday, I won’t be coming back. My date and I ordered the vegetarian miso ramen, but when the food arrived, both bowls came with pork. We immediately told our waitress, did not touch the bowls and explained clearly that we ordered the vegetarian option and my date is Muslim and cannot eat pork. Instead of helping us, she insisted that we did order the pork ramen and said we would have to pay for two brand-new bowls if we wanted the vegetarian ones. She refused to replace the dishes, even after we explained again that we would never knowingly order pork. My date was passive and uncomfortable and said it was fine but she didn’t eat any of her food, and the entire experience became awkward and upsetting for no reason. Even if there had been a misunderstanding—it would have been simple customer service to replace the ramen, especially considering the restaurant was empty. The way this was handled felt dismissive at best and, honestly, a bit Islamophobic. It completely ruined the night, and the restaurant for me. I won’t be returning. Update: In response to the owner — we ordered the Vegetarian Miso Ramen by name. When pork arrived, I immediately said my date is Muslim and cannot eat pork- she was made aware. The server still asked if we wanted to pay for new bowls and refused to replace them, even though we hadn’t touched the food. This wasn’t about appearance or assumptions — it was about being dismissed and told to pay again for something we didn’t order.
Please be advised: Check your bill! They are charging an unannounced 18% tip. We were a party of two, and they applied the charge anyway. When confronted about the extra money, they tried to cover it up by saying it was an "error." This feels like a clear attempt to overcharge customers. I never see scam like this in Texas. 😵💫
